BZPRPG: Onu-Wahi

OOC: Hatann open for recruitmnt.IC: In the dark shadows of Onu-koro, two lights flickered out and back on again. Unlike the lightstones of the village, these points of light were purple in colour. Hatann blinked again. Slowly, the Skakdi stood up and began to move intothe srteets, always keeping to the shdaows, until he came upon an old turaga. From behind the diminutive being he whispered softly."Hatann. Killer. You need a job done. I am here." It was a short message, but the message it carried ws clear as mud, both to the Skakdi and the other being.

IC: [Arkrak]"Mining?" the Toa of Sonics said, before chuckling slightly. "According to an old friend of mine, the art of mining requires one to be restrained. Why, if I were to blow a tunnel up, I'd probably cause the entire system to collapse, killing everybody inside."A small smile crossed his face, as he decided to deliver his next point."And also," he continued, "in my dealings with explosives, I have had to work with many different types of chemicals. What one man homicide squad would you be without a forensic scientist?"OOC: Okay, Chronn's new nickname shall be 'One-Man-Homicide-Squad'.

IC (Zadron)A slight scraping noise came from the Onu-Matoran crime boss.When the Matoran jerked his head around, he saw Zadron leaning against the wall, scraping two claw-like fingers together."Business going well?" the Vortixx asked casually.

IC:... UnknownThere, out of the corner of his eye, he noticed the exact being he was searching for. The armor matched up correctly with his information, though the confident gait didn't quite match the Toa running for his life. But, he was the closest he had seen, it was worth a shot. He was about to hobble over, faking the need for his cane, when someone whispered from behind him. It was impossible for anyone to know what he was planning, wasn't it? Unless he had spoken to Knife of Edge, then it was clear he had a source of information himself. Resourceful, an excellent trait for a killer."Indeed, I need beings who are good at what they do... and aren't afraid to get put a little blood, sweat, and tears into their work. Perhaps you are of that mold of beings?"He acted as though it were merely a normal conversation, to anyone other than the Skakdi who knew better, it would seem a harmless chat about a job. He would have too speak to Venen later. He just hoped the Toa was still around after this little conversation.OOC: I'm good with that, Hubert. XDIC: Chronn"And blowing up the tunnel would be a bad thing? You sift through the rubble and collect whatever materials you would need. And obviously you would warn others to stay away from the blasting area."Then he kept talking, going into his knowledge of forensics. He didn't even know he was looking at the master of forensics himself. There wasn't a murder I couldn't solve, and I had learned my lesson from the two fools I had hired before. I best worked alone, without annoying distractions. But this annoyance didn't seem like he was going to give up. And that could be a problem."If I give you a job, will you shut your irritating mouth and be silent for at least a few moments?

IC: "I am indeed, and I have a reputation for being dead good at what I do." Hatann replied, picking up on the Turaga's use of certain telling words. "Maybe we could make an arrangement?" Though the Skakdi wasn't normally one to bandy words about, he understood that this potential employer wanted to stay unnoticed, and that was fine with him.

IC: [Arkrak]Arkrak merely smiled."Depends on your opinion of how long a moment is," he said, "but despite that, I can be perfectly quiet for a while."The Toa of Sonics stretched his hand out for the other being to shake."I'm looking forward to working with you Mr. One-Man-Homicide-Squad."OOC: Achievement Get: Member of Dark C Investigations!

IC: ...Unknown"Quite excellent. The job is a simple one, all you have to do is continue working yourself to death, and leave a tablet behind at the you workplaces. And in return, you will receive rewards for your rather painful work."The Turaga explained, acting as suspicious as your average Turaga, not very suspicious at all. For all anyone knew, he was just speaking about a normal job, nothing at all about killing anyone. But to the Skakdi, it was clearly another conversation entirely. And that was what he wanted. He reached into his armor, pulling out a small stone tablet. He kept it's content hidden from view."Are you up for the job?"IC: Chronni did not shake his hand, for I did not like him in the slightest. I wanted him to leave, of just drop dead on the floor. But sadly, my best chance was to actually hire the annoyance, and order him to shut up. That would work perfectly fine for me."Now shut up, and let me continue my work."I turned, walking back to my chair, grabbing a handful of the Trail-mix from my desk. Sadly, I was almost out of it. I would have to get this moron too collect for supplies for me to make more later. I grabbed a tablet off of my desk. It was the one with NEX written upon it. And despite my best efforts, I could find no meaning to it whatsoever.

IC: [Arkrak]"So," the Toa of Sonics began, sitting down. "What exactly do you want me to do first?"Arkrak was rather cheerful, for he had finally done something that wasn't melancholic and boring.

IC: Hatann made as if to consider the offer, although really he had made his decision before approaching the Turaga. "I'm game" he said "In fact, I'm dying to get started. Tell me, is there anyone you would like me to meet when I start this job, or can I sell my wares to whoever I like?"

IC: Chronn"I want you to be silent. I am trying to decipher the meaning of a potentially important tablet."I snapped at the irritating fool, who didn't seem to understand the meaning of shut up. He was grating on my last nerve, it seems hiring him wasn't going to shut him up at all. I could just kill him, but that wouldn't exactly be easy to cover up. I'd save killing him for later, should he continue annoying me.OOC: Earned Achievement: Homicidal homicide solver: Annoy Chronn to the point he contemplates killing you! XDIC: ... Unknown"I do not have a specific job for you yet, merely do as you wish, and work with whoever you want to. Just remember to leave the tablets."The Turaga explained, before turning and hobbling off in the Direction of his next potential killer, A Toa named Venen. As he slowly reached the Toa, he tapped him on the leg with the dull bottom of his staff, to get The Toa's attention.'I am looking for a Toa by the name Venen, perhaps you know where I can locate him?"

IC: VenenI raised my eyebrows. "I know him, yes. Any reason in particular that you would like to see him? He can be a busy man," I said. My voice was normal... I had no reason to attempt to scare this old man away. If it was a trivial matter, then I'd simply say that Venen would recieve the message with all haste. If it was important... well, it depended on what made it important.

IC: [Arkrak]"Very well," said Arkrak, nodding to his new boss. "I shall make myself useful and get out of your way by trying to clean up this place."With that the Toa of Sonics disappeared into the room closest to them.

IC: ... Unknown.He shook his head slightly, muttering to himself. This wasn't good, he had clearly found the wrong Toa. Unless it was Venen, faking that he wasn't. He had seen that trick before. Maybe it was a hired look-alike, to fool possible assassins. Whatever the reason, they didn't claim to be Venen, and that seemed to be a problem."Nothing, i merely wanted to offer him a job and safety from those after him. No need to inform him at all."IC: ChronnI wondered why the annoyance had started cleaning, the only messy room belonged to myself, and was locked off at all times, unless I was inside. The rest was rather clean. I didn't like dirt or dust, it was unsanitary. If given the choice, I would rather never catch a murderer than have dust in my office."Imbecile."I muttered under my breath, returning my mind to the tablet. I was determined to discover the meaning, even if it took me days to do so. I didn't really need to go outside, as long as I could make my new employee go for whatever supplies I needed, I would only have to leave my office when there was a murder to be solved. It was a rather pleasant thought.

IC: Venen"A job? Venen could very well be interested. You could say I, ah, work for him. Come, let us get out of the middle of the street. Let's just walk to the side of the road, where it's less crowded. You might be pleased to know that I know Venen personally... quite personally."I began to walk to the edge of the road.

IC: Hatann grinned a large Skakdi grin and straightened up. This job was going to work out just fine, he thought, beceuse it was set up just the way he liked it. He set off up the street, once again keeping to the shadows of the underground cavern. He was already planning his first strike.

IC: ...UnknownThe Turaga followed, his pace not quite as quick as the Toa's. But that was an act. He didn't need that staff, he was fine without it. But it completed the look. And a Turaga running around holding knives wouldn't blend in very well. And People might think him just an insane old fool and try to lock him away. Bt he wasn't insane, he was dangerously intelligent... and soon the whole island would discover the power of NEX, as tablets began to appear."As I figured, you know him quite well, don't you Venen?"He had given himself away. I'd have to speak to him about being less suspicious acting in public, or he would never be good enough for NEX.

IC: [Arkrak]Because of the fact that there was only one person in the agency before his arrival, Arkrak had assumed that the building would be rather messy, so had gone off to find something to clean. However, it seemed as if his new employer was rather meticulous in cleaning the building, for there seemed to be no specks of dust left. So that was why he had been looking intently at the locked door, which lead to the only room he hadn't explored yet."I wonder if I can pick the lock," he murmured, taking out a thin strip of metal.Several minutes later, the Toa of Sonics had still not gotten through the door, and had decided to give up on his endeavour, which was using a piece of metal to try and pick the lock. He had still not given up on entering the room, which meant that he was going to take another approach, a more...explosive one."About three drops of nitrated glycerol should do," he said cheerfully as he placed blobs of the incredibly sensitive liquid on the door.

IC: Venen"You did figure it out. Good. Dealing with fools is tiresome, and it's good to know that you can take a hint." Then there was a pause. "Why did you seek me out? I have few special skills, and not too many know of my existance."His knowledge of me was troubling. Simply knowing my name and description, as he undoubtably did, was enough to make me uneasy.

IC: The Shadow & InvisibleInvisible ran down the tunnel. Got to get away, got to get away!He soon reached The Shadow's cave."Master! Master!" he shouted."What now, Invisible?" The Shadow sighed."The Toa!" Invisible gasped. "He's not alone!""Mata-Nui, please don't tell me you've managed to get more people involved in this?!" Told you so."He's... following... me." Invisible was trying to catch his breath, and having difficulty talking. "He'll be... here soon.""Well then," The Shadow began, "We'd best start preparing for his arrival!" he laughed. This Toa will never bother me again... He'll never do anything again...

OOC: Mimira, Skyra, Wraith (You can't escape! Oh, you don't want to...well...that's fine I guess...) :PIC: Mimira, Skyra, WraithWraith, who had been floating above Invisible and the Shadow for almost a minute, decided to make himself known. "Oh, don't mind me, I'm just your friendly neighborhood ghost..." he said in the most unattached and cold way possible.Skyra and Mimira ran toward the direction Wraith had been going. "Oh man ghosts are quick! I guess they don't weigh anything so it makes sense.""Big brother...I don't think that is quite right...""I told you to keep your voice down!" Skyra yelled."Why don't you take your own advice." she said in a harsh whisper."Guys...over here." Wraith called from a few meters away.

IC: The ShadowThe Shadow looked up."Well, that's just wonderful." he said, turning to Invisible. "Just how many friends does he have?"IC: Invisible"Just one or two." Or five.IC: Pirok (Toa)"Well, looks like I'm back here again." Pirok muttered under his breath.

IC: JLJL sprinted over, lightstone glowing. Up ahead, he saw a figure covered in shadows thanks to the dimness. Pirok.JL: Hey! Uhm, I'm pretty good at stealth, so I'll just head on forwards. Take my lightstone if you need it.Charging his sword with lightning, he looked forwards to see more light. Then, several of the people he saw in the hut, the guy they had stopped from running (After telling him to run) and a shadowy figure floating above them, and then another shadowy person who seemed to be the master of the worthless person who had just ran away.JL: Why, Hello. There seems to be quite a lot of shadowy figures here. Not that it matters, Now, why did you send your weak underling to follow my friend? Answer me, or I'll fry you big.To prove his point, he fired a tiny burst of static electricity. It went forwards about a few CM, then changed direction and flew straight into a sharp rock. A lightning rod. Well, that sucked. Unless somebody has some sharp metal stick which he could direct it at to hit the enemy, JL couldn't do anything much.

OOC: 0_o Sorry Hubert, I can't let you blow up Chronn's door! Anything with enough force to blow open the door would likely kill whoever was standing and setting the explosion, if they were close enough. IC: ChronnAs he was about to do something incredibly stupid, I managed to stop his from putting anything on the door. I had seen him trying to pick the lock, but this was going way to far, if he was trying what I thought he was, explosives. Clearly this person had no sense of their own sefety at all."All that is in their is my room, there is no reaon for you to be entering it, exce[t to get yourself fired, and electrocuted."It was clear that I was irritated now, and killing him was looking a whole lot better every few moments. IC:... Unknown"I have found you for a rather simple reason. I wish to hire you for possibly the best job you will ever get. It is rather easy to understand."The Turaga straightened him back a little, not hunching over his cane as much as he had been doing. It was getting a little uncomfortable to his back, and his spine didn't like it at all. But he has to continue his search, and find the best of the island. And after Venen, he was going to speak to a very serious criminal, on the top of his list of the most deadly."I have heard of you current predicament, and coma come to offer my... help to you."

IC: The Shadow, Pirok, & Invisible"Well, weak is a bit of an understatement." You tell 'im. "And I sent him because I couldn't exactly follow him myself, because I have a secret plan, and I don't want people to know that I'm the one behind it."I'm not weak...Pirok ran in, in time to catch the end of The Shadow's comment."If it's a secret plan, then why are you telling us about it?""Because you'll all be six feet underground before you can tell anyone."

IC: Venen"Predicament? I don't know what you mean." I was truly amused. The only dangers I knew of had been left behind in Xa-Koro."'The best job I will ever possibily get?' That's quite an offer, Turaga. 'Easy to understand?' Not a bad thing, elder, but some might take that as an insult to their intelligence." I said the last part in particular sincerely. I had no reason as of yet to view this one as a threat... yet. But where had he gotten the information on me? I had no reputation outside of Xa-Koro.

IC: "Excellent, 's a matter of fact," said the Onu-Matoran with a smirk. With one hand, he reached down and brought up a bulging sack of widgets. "Good job," he said with a drag. "Keep an eye out, eh? It's been a pleasure doing business with you, and I look forwards to doing so again."Using his natural strength, he tossed the sack over to Zadron with a seeming lack of effort.

IC (Zadron)"Mutual," said Zadron, taking the sack and leaving.Once outside, he pulled up his cloak's hood and smiled. Now to decide whether to actually split with Aexias or not...Of course, he would. Not because he was a man of his word, but because he knew that if he didn't she could simply reveal the fact that she was still alive, and thus get a rather angry mob leader on his back.Plus, she'd owe him a favour.OOC: @TDC: If you want Zadron, here he is.IC (Merror)Merror sheathed his swords, appearing to be surprisingly co-operative."Tell on, then," he said to The Shadow.

IC:The Shadow, Pirok & InvisibleThe Shadow looked down at Merror from the stone throne he'd had invisible carve with his sonic powers."This is a clever one!" he shouted. "Believe it or not, I'm on your side. I too am against Makuta. We just have different morals.""And by 'different morals' you mean you have no morals, but we do?""I wouldn't say I had no morals." Although, even you have to admit that it's true. Be quiet. I am being quiet. If I wasn't, then they'd be able to hear me.

IC TorvTorv watched from a distance this conversation being held.

IC (Merror)"So why," Merror asked, "if you too oppose Makuta, do you want Pirok dead?"

OOC: Stupid server...IC: Fehron: "Well, I was searching for adventure in Ta-Wahi when I met you. And yeah, we probably should take a cab."

OOC: I will soon Ghosthands, got to finish with Cadias first.IC: ...Unknown"The offer is merely based on your skills. or rather, your luck in the act of murder."He was blunt now, standing away from the crowd to not be heard. And it was likely to startle Venen rather highly. The Turaga, had just commented on his killing. He knew quite a lot about some of the most dangerous beings on the island. He had read anything and everything about them. He had spoken to anyone he could find that may have information. And Venen was less important to his plan than the next murderer he was going to speak to."I am the leader of NEX, a group of the islands best murderers. But in your case, some of the most swift and effective. You have a lower kill count than most of the others I seek, but I believe you have the skills to be among the greatest. All i ask is that you kill others, and leave a mere tablet upon the ground. And for this, you will be rewarded."

IC: VenenI raised my eyebrows, but stayed silent until he had finished speaking. I thought it over for a moment. "I thank you for the compliment. I try to be quick and effecient. Of course, this is rather risky work, the killing of others. What rewards, exactly, would one get?"

IC: ...Unknown"You would receive currency, should you require it. Repairs and new weapons should you need them. And a hidden Location where you will be safe from any enemies you may have."He explained to Venen calmly, as though he were discussing the weather, and not the deaths of innocent victims, and the rewards for it. This was what he did. it was a plan he had be plotting for the longest time, and now it was coming alive. The island would learn the name NEX, and with that knowledge, would come fear.

IC: VenenI thought it over. "An interesting offer. However, I'm not as interested in what I gain as I am in what I lose. What do you expect from me besides killing others?" And what, old man, will you gain from this?

OOC: Sorry, I was busy the past couple of days.IC:Kohra had had plans for Onu-Koro before running into Clo'on. A collapsed tunnel maybe, a little mischief, just to disrupt the Matoran's business. With the Toa in tow though, those plans were put on hold. At least for now. And she was tired of walking. "That sounds like an excellent idea." she told her companion.

IC: ... Unknown"That is all I expect, it is all I require."He noted calmly, not showing any emotion, he was very serious about what he was planning, and he wanted it to shake the entire island. But there was no guarantee that it would even reach the attention of others.

IC: Venen"Really? So, you don't expect us to keep this a secret, or to be at your beck and call?" I smiled slightly. "I expect that you would like all those things, yes? By the way, do you have a name or title of some sort? I have to call you something."And thus I began to try and find out about this mysterious being, although it was an ordinary enough question.

IC; ...Unknown"There is no secret about this, nor a reason for me to have you completely under my command at all times. Though i might suggest a victim if you wish me to."It was a simple answer, he didn't want to waste time describing every detail of every last part of his plan. Most were classified beyond any of the people he had hired, they couldn't understand his plotting."You can call me... Nex."

I.C. KranukaKranuka paid the taxi fee for everyone and hopped on.
