OOC: That is so a droideka. xD-==IC: Kairan//Test Chamber==-Kairan raised an eyebrow, but jumped to the side so he wouldn't have some holes in him, and he ran forward slightly, making sure to keep his mask active so that he could dodge around the laser fire if the droid was smart enough to realize his plan.

OOC: Yeah, but I can't call it a droideka since it's not Star Wars. IC: AMTaOS - Elite Battle Drone / Test Chamber B-4The drone was just a mindless drone. It stayed in place, moving only to get a better angle as it continued firing at Kairan.IC: AMTaOS - Party Escort Robot / Testing Facility LimitsThe drone dragged Ckase for quite some distance. Finally, it stopped, and then flew away.Then the floor under Ckase collapsed in, sending him flying through a slide-like shaft. Crushers and grates were in the way multiple times, but the Toa of Data managed to make his way through, finally making his way through to a suction vent, which pulled him up and then deposited him outside of an old shack like building in the Science District.But what had he done?-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: Emma - HovershipThe hovership officially had a ghost. A really, really angry ghost.Emma stalked the halls, brooding over the fact that Kairan had been captured by the 'computer lady' and she was on a ship, going in the opposite direction. This went against every bone in her body. If it were up to her, she would be inside Techna by now, doing everything to find him and his capturer.She sighed. Being angry wouldn't do anything. She had to focus, and come up with a plan to do this. Glancing over, she found Ezraftin and Kinvex studying one of the bots that attacked them."Find anything good?" she inquired.-Void

-==IC: Kairan==-kairan smiled, as he started to run in a circle around the droid; however... He subtly was getting closer to the drone, and when he figured he was close enough, he would simply run past it, and perform a backslash, probably mixed with electricity, to try and disable it.

OOC: Is this post correct, or did I miss something? IC: Darkon, New Metru NuiDarkon, hours later, awoke. His limbs stopped aching, his headache was gone, and his throat was less sore. Better didn't seem to do the way he felt justice. Half walking half shambling, he made his way into the shop, curious as to where he was.

IC: AMTaOS - Elite Battle Drone / Test Chamber B-4The drone rolled forwards as Kairan began to move behind it, turning around and setting itself on the ground once more. Once it established its shield again, it began firing.As Kairan had gotten closer, it seemed as if the shield would be too substantial for one to pass through... but there was that marking on the wall, showing the Toa with his hand in the elemental energy.-Toa Levacius Zehvor

-==IC: Kairan==-Kairan raised an eyebrow, as he activated his mask, and jumped over the droid, and then landed behind it, spun around, and fired off a bolt of lightning as the drone rolled forward, assuming that it rolled forward once more. Even so, he stabbed out at it anyway, so if it did, it would more than likely have a steel problem, though Kairan wasn't totally certain if either of his dual swords would be able to withstand the energy. Maybe his Longsword, but he didn't want to use that just yet.

IC: AMTaOS - Elite Battle Drone / Test Chamber B-4Surprisingly, the drone didn't actually have any problems with the lightning blast, which had no effect on its armored back. The sword didn't have any better luck.The drone turned around, and began firing again once the shield was back up.-Toa Levacius Zehvor

-==IC: Kairan==-Kairan frowned, and jumped over the drone once more. This time, he waited for the shield to go down, and stayed close to the drone as it turned around. But, instead of waiting for the shield to go back, Kairan simply stabbed it in the chest, and backflipped away while the drone was just finishing turning.OOC: If the back's armoured, the front might not be. =P

IC: AMTaOS - Elite Battle Drone / Test Chamber B-4The drone didn't turn around as Kairan advanced, however - it had only moved before so it could regain a clear shot on him. In fact, it was perfectly happier with its target getting closer, and thus easier to hit."It's just a brainless robot. You are slacking. But alive. So that's better than previous testers. Slightly."The field was of electricity. If one couldn't get past it, or use it to harm the drone, maybe there was something else...-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: TainTain frowned. He couldn't think of a logical reason to decline, though his gut insisted something was wrong. "Computer lady. Run the proposal by me one more time, please."

OOC: Actually, I jumped over the drone, so that it could turn around to regain a shot, but... Meh, this is fun. =P-==IC: Kairan//Test Chamber==-Kairan thought for a moment, and instead attempted to turn off the shield himself, but absorbing the shield's electricity. Might not be possible, but there was that diagram...

Using the skills you have developed through these tests you will make your way through to a few separate areas. All you need to do is activate a few switches, reconnect some wires, and destroy some malfunction ADR. Then you will be released to do whatever you feel like. It's simple, really - you help me, I free you. We both win. In fact, you get it better than I do. I could have any of my test subjects do this for me. IC: Esao (Hovership, New Metru Nui)Finally, the dropship began its slow descent onto a telepad atop a large, imposing, yet beautiful, skyscraper."Welcome to Oz, boys and girls," I said, smirking slightly as I opened up the ramp and began to drop down to the roof.-Teezy

IC: "Screw the ramp. I'm a busy girl."Mars smirked slightly as she watched the thing in question drop. Claws emerged from her fingers soundlessly.There was a brief pause. Then Mars landed in a cat's crouch on the helipad, balancing only on the tips of her claws and toes."I got places to go."She stood up and looked to Esao, retracting her claws automatically. The matoran smirked."How long d'ya think break'll be, fireflyer? I have some ideas on how to spend it."OOC: Forgive Mars' dramatic entrance. She just tries to make the most of time between ops...Something that others who have worked with her probably know by now.

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)"Oh, really? What would they be?" I asked, jumping down on to the building and landing beside Mars. I turned and looked for the elevator that would lead to the bullpen.-Teezy

IC - Zarayna - New Metru Nui [Leaving the Ship]:As the dropship lands, I heave myself away from the wall I'd been leaning against, my armor shifting from grey to its normal hue. I active my kakama, and halt next to Esao and Mars."Remind me, who are the Director of Field Ops and the Chief of Staff?" I ask Esao.

IC: Esao (CHI, New Metru Nui)"I'm Director of Field Ops," I said with a small smirk. "Chief of Staff is Drexel. You'll report to one or both of us, and then we'll report to the Special Agent in Charge, Gael."-Teezy

IC - Zarayna - New Metru Nui [Talking to Esao]:"All right then," I say, "Consider me as having reported then." It sounds awkward, but I ignore that fact.

IC: Techna WreckageHe felt nothing. No emotion, no warmth or cold and his eyes could detect no light. And he felt a heartbeat and heard it too. It was faint or perhaps distant.In the distance he saw a light that slowly increased in intensity and got closer."No don't leave us. We need you. Come back." This voice he could not recognize or even try and place on anyone he could remember.Then everything got really bright and he closed his eyes or did he open them?He lay on the ground of a planet unknown to him. He slowly got to his feet with help from his staff. Looking around he could see the wreckage of a spaceship that seemed rather large.He quickly grew scared as he wondered if he was alone or not. So he ran away in hopes of finding something.

IC: AMTaOS (w/Kairan) / Test Chamber B-4The robotic being stopped movement entirely, before falling over and collapsing to the side.The second door opened, and from it came a being best described as the biggest Vahki ever - a Kranua, one with knowledge of Metru-Nui would know. Trouble, one with knowledge of Metru-Nui would know.Oh, and lovely. It had an electric dome shield too. And was firing lasers from its mouth.OOC: Must be one of yours, Zarayna. IC: AMTaOS (w/Trio) / Testing Chamber #3"Great. Now please proceed to the elevators for delivery to external facility area."-Toa Levacius Zehvor

-==IC: Kairan//Test Chamber==-Kairan raised an eyebrow, and stepped to the side, as he ran toward the Vahki. He drew the electric shield down, and attempted to jump over the robot... However, if his plan worked, as he fell, he would be able to stab the robot in the head. Although, his plan was partially relying on the fact that he could stab while he was falling toward the Vahki's back, instead of stabbing downward from the front.

IC: Handy (Outside of Krazhia)The hulking figure stood on all fours like a gorilla, resting most of his weight on his humongous fists as he strode slowly. The ground seemed to shake faintly every time he lay his fist down and creaking and mechanical noises could be heard as his joints and mechanical components were at work. During his mindless stroll, his smiling and decaying face looked up as his eyes caught sight of a collapsed being, a green and grey Toa to be specific.Quickening his pace, he approached him and uncurled one of his giant mechanical fingers, poking the unconscious to see whether it would react. If he stirred, it would wake only to find a hulking robotic terror looming before him.OOC: There ya have him.

-==IC: Blade==-Blade groaned slightly, but didn't move other than that; aside from the groan, he was still unconscious, and probably would stay like that for a while.

IC: Handy (Ouside of Krazhia)A mere groan and nothing else from the Toa was enough for Handy to know that this person should get medical treatment, food and water. The possibility of him being asleep was quickly swatted away since no one really fell asleep in the middle of nowhere. Uncurling all of his fingers, he gingerly picked Blade up, his fingers so big that they wrapped themselves around his torso with a single hand.With his new 'associate' now resting on his shoulder, Handy quickened his pace and made his way to Krazhia, the ride sure to be bumpy for his passenger. In little time, there they were, in a local hospital. As soon as they arrived, Blade was already being taken cared of by doctors.

OOC: Mars post later. Gotta jet.IC: Mirtue turned to see the being walk out of the door behind his shop's counter. Kopaka gave a slight smile and nodded to the teamaking machine he had scrounged off the ship; it was steaming from its place at the far end of the granite slab his hands rested on.

IC, Kinvex: Kinvex jumped onto the roof after Esao. He was still brooding on a way to explore the robot's data more...

IC: Typhian, New Metru NuiA low, beastal growl filled the air as Typhian nimbly leapt from a makeshift-building onto a rooftop of one of the more complete stone structures. His intended victim, a Toa of Lighning opened fire with a revolver on him. A dull "twang" resounded as the bullet reichocheted off of his shell-like skin.His insect-like face contorted into a grin, he began to scuttle foward, claws ready for any attacks the Toa wanted to make.OOC: Open for interaction, however it may come.

IC: (Aihus/Helipad)As the dropship hovered over the pad, Aihus leaped gracefully to the ground. Fighting off air-sickness (he'd never liked flying) he walked toward Esao and the group surrounding him."What are we to do now, sir?" he said.

-==IC: Blade//Techna NuiJust After Crash(Flashback)==-Blade frowned, and his eyes widened, as he realized what the sudden change in gravity meant.No, no, no, not like this! Blade thought, and sighed, but an idea came to him.If I can just... Blade thought, but his line of thought was interrupted, as the ship crashed into the ground.Later...Blade stumbled out of the wreckage, panting, as he gripped his side.I... I... Blade thought with a wince, as he fell to his knee. He pulled his hand away, and grimaced, when he noticed that it was covered in blood, but stood up slowly, and continued to walk away from the crash.It's... nothing important... Blade thought, as he looked back to the crash site, where he had just finished helping save the Replica, by taking most of the impact for him. But; Blade wondered if Kairan would ever know that...It's nothing. Blade repeated, as he unleashed a brief lightning aura around him to at least temporarily seal off the wounds...Much later."To Karzahni with it!" Blade growled, a look of anger on his face. The wounds from the crash were still there. Granted, it was partly because he kept pushing himself, but he knew he had to get to the bottom of the problem.Maybe if I investigate the wreckage some more, I'll find out more... Blade thought, and started to walk back toward the wreckage.Just before his reappearance, and the attack."So there are some." Blade stated, a scowl on his face, as he tossed the tablet to the side. it had all the details he needed for the actual confirmation; but didn't say anything, such as location, or the name of the person behind it."I need to look into this further..." Blade muttered to himself, as he began to walk back to New Metru Nui, however, a Glatorian stepped in front of him."Huh? What do you want?" Blade asked, and the Glatorian's eye implant zoomed on him for a moment."Subject: Kairan Wolfblade. Status: Original, and injured. Danger level: Critical. Commencing operation. Flushing memory before hunt." The Glatorian stated emotionlessly, and Blade growled, as this confirmed everything further, even as the Glatorian drew a sword quickly, and advanced toward Blade, who scowled, and shook his head."What; you couldn't have thought of a better way to get rid of me? Get out of my sight." Blade stated, as he ran toward the Glatorian, but his attack was blocked by the Glatorian's sword, and the Glatorian counter attacked, by slicing into Blade's shoulder. Blade winced and stumbled back, however, a quick burst of lightning was launched toward the Glatorian, who was knocked back by the blast. Blade panted, and then yelled out, as he ran toward the Glatorian once more.OOC: Yes, I just gave Blade a last name. =P Figures it fits with the expanded bio I'll be likely to give him shortly. =P

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)"Esao!"I turned on my heel and saw Special Agent in Charge Gael Artayga, head of CHI, advancing towards me, a wary look on his face."Gael," I said curtly, nodding my head: Gael was my commander, but he definitely wasn't my superior."Might I ask why you felt the need to bring along the whole city?" he asked, a sneer on his face. "I don't recall organizing a good portion of these people. And where is your TAC team?""Gone," I said simply with a shrug. "I need to find out where they went, so if you'll please excuse me..."I went to move, but Gael stopped me, his face hard and stoic."Esao, ever since the ship crashed, you've been off. Different. If there's a problem, you need to report it.""You're my problem. Now move.""I prefer to keep my pets firmly leashed, Director Mandala. If you have a problem with that, you don't have to stay on here at CHI."In an instant, I had grabbed Gael by the throat and shoved him to the ground, bending down on one knee and holding him there."You know, I kind of like you, Gael. You've got a cushy job. Nice family. Woman who loves you. See, I have none of those things. And that's made me very, very dependent on this job. I've done things in the name of it that would make your skin crawl if I told them to you. And if I lose it, then my meaning -- whatever purpose I have -- is gone. You've found your answers in life. I'm not so lucky."I cocked my pistol, and Gael winced, his eyes wide in fear. I heard a trickle of liquid coming from around his waist."So when I tell you I need to do my job, I mean it. When I see fifteen kids getting held hostage with bomb vests tied on to them, everything, including my safety, goes out the window. I will do whatever it takes to save them, and I mean anything. If anyone should know that, it's you. Now, let me through."Gael winced again and shook his head imperceptibly."You've...assaulted a federal officer, Esao. Your superior. Do you know what this means?"I shrugged and pulled out my pistol, firing twice into Gael's chest. His eyes widened in shock and then closed seconds later, and I plucked the two tranquilizers from his chest."It means that, at the risk of sounding cliched, there's a new sheriff in town," I said. I pulled his body up and handcuffed him to a pole, plucking away the key."That should keep him restrained for a few hours," I said to the others. "Now let's head to the bullpen. IC, Kinvex: "Er..." said a wide-eyed Kinvex. The Toa of Data couldn't believe what he had just seen... but he followed Esao anyway.

IC: (Aihus/CHI Tower)Aihus was shocked, to say the least. Esao's rather brash actions against his own comrade had left a bad taste in his mouth. However, he felt that it was better to follow him then resist.

IC: Savina - Testing Chamber #3 -Savina did as the AI said and stepped into the elevator.

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)I turned to the others and shrugged."I suppose this would be a good time to tell you all that Gael is far from the most angelic cop in the city. He's a crook. CHI busted a ring of pro-Hacker terrorists here in New Metru Nui about three weeks ago, and before we could freeze their assets, I found out that he managed to grab about $200,00 in cold hard cash and wire it into one of his own bank accounts. Trust me, we're far better off with him out of the picture temporarily."-Teezy

IC: Emma - CHI TowerEmma felt her jaw clench at the sight of Esao and Gael's actions. To be frank, she didn't particularly like either of them, and she probably would have done the same thing had she been in Esao's shoes. But she was a freelance agent. He wasn't. He just attacked a superior officer, albeit a very crooked one.However, Esao was her best hope at getting Kairan back, so she needed him for now. She swallowed whatever conflicted emotions she may have had about him, and get on with the job.-Void
