OOC: Oh, Snelly. You didn't just do that. :PIC: Brukin"I think if we go after the Titan, he'll lead us to Frieza."IC: Krayzikk"Frieza."
IC-Beatha:"Frieza, Frieza..." Beatha thought back to some of his records: Frieza, Toa of Fire, marked, highly psychotic. Him killing some random girl was nothing new-him killing a Titan's girlfriend was. He must have been getting bolder...or crazier. Beatha bowed his head, still thinking."If I remember right, once he's killed somebody he generally leaves the Koro rather quickly...and he wouldn't leave a conventional trail, either, so catching him on foot wouldn't be a good idea." He though again."He shouldn't have much money, unless he killed somebody rich...again. Most likely, he'll have stolen something. The currents have been going Northwards for the past couple days..." he smiled ruefully. "I had to help row my way here." He turned, stepping out the door."Come. He's probably heading off to Po-Koro or Onu-Koro. He might be going around the northern end of the island, but it'd be best to check directly north first. We need to move quickly."
IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk nodded, give Krian one last glare before he left. His fists were clenched in anger as he followed Beatha.
IC-Beatha:Beatha turned back to Krayzikk once they left the building, thinking. "Which way do we go first?" He asked. "Do we check Onu-Wahi and go down, or Po-Wahi and go up?" He looked over to the boat-renting area, where a couple of marines were talking with the owner.
IC: Tuxedo Mask - Inn, Ga-koro -Tux rushed out the door. "Let's find him then..." Tuxedo tried to think of where the Titan could be...
IC: Krayzikk"Po-Koro and up. It saves time, because if he goes to Po-Koro, and we go to Onu-Koro, we might lose him. But if we go to Po, and he goes to Onu, then he might still be there when we arrive."IC: Brukin"I think it is safe to say that the Titan is hot on Frieza's tail, and Friexa will leave the Koro quickly. After all, even he seems smart enough to flee from a Titan. With the way the currents are, he'll probably go to either Po-Koro or Onu-Koro. If we go to Po and work our way up, it might be easier to locate them both." Brukin commented as he followed Tuxedo, scanning for Krayzikk.
IC-Beatha:"Po-Wahi it is then," Beatha said, concealing his emotions more so than before. He'd rather have stopped at Onu-Koro, but Krayzikk's argument was logical. His avoidance of the place was not.He walked up to the rental Matoran, conversing with him slightly before coming back to Krayzikk. "It seems we have our first lead," he told the titan. "A Toa of Fire with an odd mark came up and stole a raft." Beatha then nodded over to one of the other boats there-one much better than a simple raft."I rented us a boat. Let's head off now."
IC: Krayzikk"Agreed." Krayzikk noticed something off when Beatha mentioned Po-Wahi. He couldn't pinpoint it, for it was more an absence of emotion than presence, but his training under Song made it more noticeable to him. He warped himself onto the boat, and watched Beatha. He contemplated asking Beatha about the abnormality, but decided against it.
IC-Beatha:Beatha, his face set, leaned on his Naginata for a moment to catch his breath. He then slowly limped towards the boat, his injury somewhat more apparent now that his adrenaline was running down. After all, the fight he'd been expecting had never come.He came to it, stepping in and pushing them off, as the current took the boat and steered it nearly inexorably towards Po-Wahi.
IC: KrayzikkFor a few minutes, Krayzikk stood silently at the front of the boat. Then he turned, and slowly walked to stand near Beatha. "I'm Krayzikk, in case you wanted to know. Though if my suspicions about you are correct, you'd know me better as 'The Avenger'."
IC: Dino looked down at Treize, trying his best to seem tall. He was not new to the practice of acting high and mighty, so it wasn't difficult. "I AM going to sign up for the Ta-Koro Guard, I just needed some food FIRST."OOC: LOL. I have this strange feeling Treize isn't going to like that very much...
IC: [Treize]"You ... in the Guard?"
OOC: Not sure if this is a joke, your real opinion, or a little of both...XDIC: Toranmat burst out laughing as the Toa's face grew indignant.Dino regained his composure. "You...in the Navy? A-HA-HA-HA!"
OOC: Just a joke.IC: [Treize]"You seem rather irresponsible for someone who wants to join the Guard."
IC: "The only reason I need your food is because I was a few mistakes away from being literally run out of town. Smited, if you will."He left out the part about him having a criminal record for breaking the Toa Code. At least, unlike his former leader, he hadn't done it repeatedly, right?
IC: [Treize]"I see," said Treize as the food arrived. She quickly took a Kikanalo Kebab and started to chew.
IC: EmbokHe followed the two, also looking.IC: GravityI grinned. "Could be worse," I said, shrugging. "Although it definatly can be better."
IC: Hajia & Hound, Ga-Koro"That's true." Hajia said with a smile. Suddenly, she noticed the crowds cheers, and Hound's absence. She excitedly squeezed Gravity's hand as she turned in her seat, so that she once again viewed the arena.Reaching the arena, Hound never once reacted to the crowd's screams and cries of happiness. "My, my! It appears that the being known as The Great Hound is back after his two-year absence! I'm sure you all remember what he did in those sixteen championships! This man is truly a warrior!" The Toa of Sonic yelled, amplifing his voice for the crowds as he spoke.Hound calmly stepped over the bars, his massive frame achiving what would take a toa-sized being would have to leap to accomplish. On the other side of the arena, a large, muscular Toa of Fire stood, his skin a glowing red with gold lining. "And in the other corner, we have Golden Dragon! This young Toa has made his way through this championship's ranks, showing extreme offensive skills! His defensive abilites aren't exactly existant, however." The Toa of Sonics said, earning multiple laughs from the crowd. Hound bowed once to his opponent, and then the bell rang.
OOC: Oh, yeah, I DO have a character in Ga-Koro.... IC(Tajeh): Tajeh continued to have an unrestful sleep. The forest was alive with Rahi, big and small. All hungry too, from their sounds.
IC: GravityI relaxed back in my seat, watching the two face-off. Already, I could tell this was gonna be from good to awesome.I had been known to be wrong though, something that I wouldn't really mention.
IC: Hound, Ga-KoroAs Hound came up from his bow, Golden Dragon was rushing foward. As the Toa swung his fist in a wide arc, Hound shot foward, not activating any of his powers, but still moving amazingly fast. The Toa's fist sailed clearly over Hound's head as he dived under the swing, sliding past the Toa.Hound quickly rolled as he slid, getting back on his feet in seconds. He had multiple openings to attack, down, or even kill his opponent, but took none of them.Battle is a dance. You make the patterns, you lead the dance. Hound thought, the words of his trainer from long ago flashing through his mind. A small grin began to grow on the Denuian's face, having decided how to pattern this dance. He would do the dread Hundred Hits, a insanely difficult manuver of which you must let your opponent attempt to hit you one hundred times, and then deal a single fatal blow. As Golden's Dragon's leg soared through the air in front of him, where he previously stood, Hound began his count with grim humor.
IC-Raxa:"And," Raxa said to himself, "Time to see what Hound can do here." He leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms."I really should have decided to join in this."IC-Beatha:"Both names are familiar," Beatha said, as the small boat he was riding on with Krayzikk slowly drifted towards Po-Wahi. "I've never had reason to be concerned with you, though. You're generally a good person." He shook his head."I'm sorry about Song, by the way," he said, earning a surprised glance. "Switching over to pirates and all...but what's happened has happened, and we can't really change it." The Toa of Fire shook his head, looking down at his leg. It was swollen slightly, though not as much as before. Apparently his medical knowledge was just as strong as ever.He looked on towards the border between the Wahis, where the trees and ferns of Ga-Wahi became sparser, farther apart, and taking their roots more so in sand than in dirt. After a couple minutes, the last remnants of the plants were behind them, as they drifted still Northwards, the sky, sands and water their only, lonely companions.
IC: GravityI looked over to Raxa, suprized to see the Toa of Crystal there. "Yo, dude... Nevermind, you know what I was gonna say," I told him, before looking back over to the fight. Why isn't Hound attacking? I wondered, seeing multiple openings he could have taken.
IC: Hound, Ga-KoroAs the attempted hits of Golden Dragon reached the twentys, the Toa began to become enraged. The crowd, or, at the very least, the expirenced fight-observers had already guessed what Hound was doing. They instantly became quiet with respect. Hound dodged, weaved, and slid under and around the multiple attacks Dragon launched. The Denuian never lost his calm, composed way of movement. Never once did he speak, as well.
IC-Raxa:"I do," Raxa said, smiling. "But if you remember, I was talking with Hound at the bar. I just walked along with you guys." He then noticed Gravity's slightly perplexed expression, and guessed at what the Toa of Gravity must be thinking."He's using a special maneuver here. Just wait for the end, it'll be pretty funny."
OOC: I think its funny he doesn't realise Raxa was the one who shot him before.
IC: Gravity"Using a... Oh, right..." I said, nodding. That was what Hound was doing. "Wish I had thought of that. Ah well, I still had fun."
IC: Hound, Ga-Koro49... 50... Hound counted as a he stepped back from a right-hook, and then sidestepped a vicious jump-kick. Suddenly, he advanced, forcing Dragon back. He never raised a hand as he did so. He was leading the fight without attacking, a sight that was amazing to behold.
IC: Krayzikk Krayzikk shook his head sadly. "Song and Riaril both left over the course of a few days. And with them, everyone I care about. I have a friend or two left. That's about it."
NPC: Messanger (Headed Towards Krayzikk, Ga-Wahi)"Hey!" cried out a Le-Matoran, swimming towards the boat desperately. "Hey! You're Krayzikk, right?"-Teezy
IC-Beatha:"Friends come and go," Beatha said, looking outwards, away from Krayzikk. "Life goes on. It's always been the same, and it always will be." He looked onward, now that they were truly in Po-Wahi, trying to see how close they were to the Koro.OOC: Beatha and Krayzikk to Po-Wahi.Two posts ago.
IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk looked over the side, and raised an eyebrow. He hoisted the Matoran into the boat. "Yes. Why?"
NPC: Messanger (Ga-Wahi)"Your name is on Lieutenant Colonel Tillian Juturna's medical records," he gasped, trying to clamber on board. "He's dead."OOC: TROLOLOL-Teezy
IC-Beatha:"I'd tell you to check your records again, Matoran!" Beatha yelled back. "That man isn't smart enough to die, he's too bloody stubborn!" The Toa of Fire shook his head."Even so," he said to Krayzikk, "We'd best check with Naona when we get to Po-Koro. She'll want to know."
OOC: Transferring to Po-Wahi... Oh, and shame on you Tyler. That's revenge for Tuara, isn't it? :PIC: KrayzikkKrayzikk looked like he'd been slapped. "Him too?! Is everyone I know dead or evil?"He looked at Beatha and nodded. He helped the Matoran into the boat.
NPC: Bearer of Bad News (Ga-Wahi)"Hypodermic needle to the heart, according to the Gukko Force!" he yelled, spluttering for breath. "Help me out, will ya?!"OOC: Drowning NPC to Po-Wahi.-Teezy
IC: GravityWow. how does he do that? I thought. Hound wasmanuvering his oppenent, without even attacking.
IC: BrukinBrukin had decided to start asking around. Finally, he got a lead. "Yeah, I saw him. Went toward the docks. Looked mighty ticked. I'd hate to be the one who ticked him off."Brukin nodded. "Thanks. Tuxedo! They went toward the docks!"
IC: Hound, Ga-KoroHound continued his unattacking assualt, forcing his opponent to step back, even though he never raised a finger in offense. Dragon attempted a couple dozen more attacks, but Hound dodged them with ease.75... Hound thought as his opponent's fist shot past his chest by millimeters.IC: Hajia, Ga-KoroHajia squeezed Gravity's hand in excitement, though it was no-where the crushing grip of before.
IC:Jozu"Hey, is the girl gonna be alright?" Jozu asked the NPC Doctors that BioBeast hadn't seen a post from in a while.Pearl"BORING!" Pearl shouted, probably startling anyone nearby. "We need to do something!"
OOC: Ooops, sorry, BioBeast.
IC: NPC DoctorThe Ko-Toa looked up from his work. "Yes," he said in typical Ko-Koroan fashion. He then went back to work, stitching up the cut leg.
* * *
He finished a few minutes later, and by this time Nei was feeling a lot better, thanks to his mask of healing. He wordlessly walked away to work on other beings when he finished, and the Ga-Matoran sat up. "Ow..." she said finally, glancing at her arm.IC: GravityI felt Hajia squeeze my hand, thankfully not bone-crushing, and I squeezed back. Hound was good at this stuff. Like scary good."Wow, how the Karz does he do that?"
