BZPRPG: Ko-Wahi

IC(Byraher): "Obviously someone doesn't have eyes." she snapped, "There is a snowstorm going now. I couldn't see krazing 3 feet in front of me."

IC: Sideways:As if on-cue, the fake snow-storm dissapeared. The reason for this was due to Sideways being preoccupied with being more focused on holding Aurel captive than holding the snow-storm illusion in reality.

IC (Grata):Grata saw the snow storm dissapear randomly, and stood up."Does that mean widgets here?"

IC: [The Seventh]"Greerrk."

IC:"Take a joke sometime, sir," said Kethrye, glancing at Madrihk before turning to face Byraher again. Much as he respected the ILS's leader, his constant seriousness did grate on Kethrye's nerves a bit."Blizzard, huh. We can deal with tha-" before Kethrye could finish the storm above them ceased far fasten then possible. "Ah. . . huh. One less thing to deal with, I guess. Did you see anything else, besides the snowstorm?"

IC: [Ril]"Anyone know what's going on?"

IC: Madrihk"I'll start taking jokes when I stop being tangled up in the responsibility of leading a group in the middle of a battle or a terrorist situation," Madrihk said. "You can get back to me with jokes when we're sipping a celebratory glass over the Makuta's burning corpse. Or perhaps a bit earlier, if this jolly little hostage adventure goes smoothly."

IC(Byraher): "Rocks, snow, ice....the usual. I couldn't hear much either. I heard someone say something about an army, though."

IC:"Right, right. Back to business. Permission to take a team to pinpoint the location of this "army", sir?"

IC: Alexin"I'll escort this team. Few people in Ko-Koro know this terrain better than me."

IC: Wraith - Cave, Ko-Wahi -Wraith frowned, Seven needed some courage, but he didn't know how to get it for her. With this storm there wasn't anything he could do. This storm needed to die down soon.

IC: Kodu continued walking, still shaken from the destruction.OOC: Open for interaction.

IC: [The Seventh]"There ..." she croaked "goes my leg."

IC: Wraith - Cave, Ko-Wahi -Wraith sighed...he knew he had to do something desperate to save Seven. "I'm gonna go out there...find a dangerous rahi...have it chase me back near the cave, and then try to kill it. That should get you some courage."

IC: [The Seventh]"Wraith? Thanks ..."

"Um...I came to check on you, Nova," Amalod says as she looks over the Toa. "Are...you okay?"-Mef Man

IC: NovaNighttimeBedroom, Ice Howl InnNova's eyes flickered in hesitation. He licked his lips and glanced at his feet before replying. "Uh... Yeah. Fine. Why do you, uh, ask...?"

"I thought I heard you breathing heavily," she replies. "Have a bad dream?"-Mef Man

IC: NovaNighttimeBedroom, Ice Howl InnNova paused. Opened his mouth. Closed it again. The process repeated once more before he actually said anything: "Er. You ever woke up and, uh, thought you were still dreaming, but you weren't? That's, uh, kinda what happened." His faux nonchalance wouldn't have fooled a Muaka, let alone a Toa.

"If you say so, Nova," Amalod replies; a smile still on her face. She reaches forward and places a hand on the Toa's cheek and says,"Well, if you need anything during the night just come and get me. Okay?"-Mef Man

IC: Madrihk (Ko/Ta-Wahi border, near the Place of Shadows)Me, our illusionist here and let's say two others will go down there to perform the exchange.

IC: Madrihk"Too complicated. If they see you lurking around then we're not doing ourselves any favors. We tried with one scout, and if anything I'd send the same one for another round now that visibility has improved. However, I'd be more interested in knowing why it's gone. This blizzard was evidently an illusion given its nature, and now its conjurer has removed it for some reason. If they can make one illusion, they can make another to foll any scouts. We'll take the 'ransom', and we'll go down there. Me, Alexin, Kethrye and Volin, then. The rest of you, stay a distance away and cover our backs. Be prepared to move in as well if things go south."

IC: NovaNighttimeBedroom, Ice Howl InnNova shied away a bit when Amalod touched him, but he didn't close the door, though his eyes remained wavering. "Uhh -- right," he said, his small chuckle more of a gasp, his tiny grin not reaching his eyes before it vanished without a trace. "I'll, uh, be sure to... to tell you if I need anything."His face receded a little more so only Amalod's fingertips were still in contact with his cheek. He tried breathing deeply to soothe his hair-trigger nerves, but the effort was futile.

Aw, he's shy. How cute!"Well, goodnight, Nova," Amalod says, retracting her hand. "Thanks for talking and I'll see you in the morning."-Mef Man

IC(Byraher): "Got it." Byraher nodded.

IC: NovaNighttimeBedroom, Ice Howl InnNova nodded a little too vigorously. "Right. See you -- uh, I mean, good night."

IC: Esao (Ice Howl Inn, Ko-Koro)Esao, however, did not sleep.He sat, cross-legged, in an almost meditative pose, playing on his stringed seashell and staring ahead blankly into the mirror and singing a note every now and then. The light of the lantern slowly began to dim, and the vigilante archer began to watch as his reflection warped and faded in the growing darkness, lost to the world and never to return until the next glimpse of light felt that the mirror was worthy enough to be brushed by its presence. Then, Esao would return. But for now, he was nothing. Less than nothing. He felt like air, floating high and free above the bed as he played, only barely listening as Amalod went to talk to first Krayzikk, then Nova.Flyssa.She had not yet been dead for twenty four hours, her body probably not even cold yet, and still Esao felt as though a part of his soul, a part of his very being, had been stolen away from him. His friend. His only friend. Flyssa. Gone. Forever. Never. Coming. Back. And what's worse, he had let the Skakdi who did it go, he had sacrificed his very tenets, his very moral code, just so he could have the chance to grieve and hold Flyssa's body. Did he regret his moment of emotion? Yeah, he did. Just like he regretted every laugh, smile, blush, or tear that he had ever shown in honor of the poor dead Toa of Lightning.And yet he'd loved her.Yes. He had loved her. Not in a romantic way, they hadn't known each other long enough to be anything close to a couple, and yet she had been his best and only friend for the time that they had known each other. They had so much in common, they had so many experiences and laughs and hugs that they could have shared together, and now she was gone, and her beautiful spring green eyes were gone forever, crushed into dust like the late summer leaves they so resembled. A memory whizzed through his head, one of him kissing Flyssa's outstretched hand. Then another. Her, curtsying cutely and laughing as he grinned and mentioned something about knights doing that kind of thing in plays. Laughs. Kisses. Plays. Things he'd missed out on. And he had agreed to never go out of his way to avenge her, all for the sake of this team. For Sucogu, Nova, Krayzikk, Riversong...Amalod.Esao sat, still and meditative, for the rest of the night. And though he didn't move, though he didn't seem to twitch beyond the playing of his fingers and the slow downward spiral of his heart, he did not sleep. And, he promised, as long as Flyssa's killer was still out, roaming and slaying and toasting to his murder of the beautiful sweet Toa of Lightning that had been robbed from him too soon, he never would.-Teezy

Amalod smiles at Nova as she walks back to her room. After closing and locking the door this time (couldn't have any more guests while she slept) the Toa was soon undressed and back in bed. A bright smile was gracing her lips as she falls asleep.OOC: Everyone ready for the timeskip? Riversong already time skipped, I think. -Mef Man

IC: Wraith - Cave, Ko-Wahi -"No need to thank me yet..." Wraith said as he walked out into the storm, which was a courageous thing to do in itself. Now Wraith had to also find a giant rahi as well. Not the easiest thing in the world.

IC: NovaNighttimeBedroom, Ice Howl InnNova watched Amalod enter her room before closing his own door. A minute passed by, kept by the incessant thrumming of Nova's heart, before finally, his breathing slowed and his mind cleared. His throat felt dry; he contemplated leaving his room to find filtered water before deciding he could just use the sink in his room's attached bathroom.He half-stumbled to his bed first. As he leaned over the mattress, his fatigue returned in full force. He would rest first; drinking would come later.He rolled atop the covers, not bothering to huddle underneath.Maybe he would quench his thirst in an hour.His eyes slid shut; his body became still; his muscles grew languid. Dark colors flitted across his inner eyelids.Maybe he would drink in the morning...OOC: As far as I'm concerned, timeskip, ho!

IC: Plagia Simul - Place of Shadows, ILS Main GroupI, for the most part, remained silent throughout the proceedings. Let Madrihk and the others make a plan, I don't mind. Just as long as the stratagem works, I'm happy."Gotcha, cap," I said to the Toa of Ice, with a lazy, two fingered salute.-Void

IC: KrayzikkAs Amalod left, Krayzikk turned his attention to the table in front of him.He moved the blanket off, revealing several small bags of widgets. None of them contained more than a couple dozen. Despondently, he counted how much he had left. The light grunted scarlet off of the blood still staining the armor of his hands.He stopped, and looked at them. The hands of a destroyer. The hands of a killer. Hands only capable of destruction.The Titan laid down wearily. Sleep would be a long time coming.

IC: "You do know this is probably a trap, sir," Kethrye said to Madrihk, his eyes scanning the valley below. "Whatever happens down there isn't going to be pretty, I'll bet you that." Let's hope Byraher was wrong about the whole "army" part, he though, waiting for the other members of the team to gather for the negotiations with the kidnappers. Otherwise things are going to just get worse.

IC: (Aryll/Ko-Wahi)"Let's just hope the negotiations go well," Aryll said in a slightly nervous tone.

OOC: Time skippin'

Amalod slowly opens her eyes; a smile on her face. It was morning and it was time to start a fresh day. She had plenty she needed to do, so the Toa was out of the bed in no time. After getting changed into her snow outfit, the Toa of Water was soon outside of her room. She walks along the hallway and goes into what appeared to be a sort of breakfast buffet Amalod grabs a few pieces of food and a glass of milk. She takes a seat and begins to eat.-Mef Man

IC:"Hope for the best, plan for the worst," Kethrye replied, his grin doing nothing to make his face less grim. "That's my motto."

OOC: Kivar is still with us, right? There's so much confusion regarding this it's not even funny. From now on I'll never, ever split the team without specifically knowing which member goes where.IC: Madrihk"If it weren't for the hostages, which we sadly haven't even confirmed the existence of yet, I'd just order the place torched, one cave at a time, until we smoke the villains out. Perhaps we should make the first move right here. We got a Toa of Sonics with us, no? I need our voices amplified so we can talk -- and make demands -- from a safe distance."

IC: Alexin"Done." The Guard responded, adjusting their voices.

IC (Nawal):

Nawal had been sent on a scouting mission to an uninhabited place in Ko-Wahi, far from his village. The mission had been canceled earlier due to bad weather, but Nawal went on anyways.The storm had become furious, and all around Nawal could only see white. The wind was blowing in his mask, whipping ice and snow at his body like broken glass. He did not know if he was walking in a straight line or in circles, and was close to passing out. Every flag he tried to place in the snow was pulled out of the ground by the wind, and he was left with nothing. All of a sudden, if his situation could not get any worse, everything went from white to black, as he was buried under an avalanche of snow, unable to move. Everything got cold, a bitter cold that was nearly unbearable to face, a cold that numbed everything. He slipped into unconsciousness, and his heart rate began to slow, until it stopped compleatly.

Over the hundreds of years, the ice that had buried Nawal had thawed until he was visible to anyone who walked past, but no one did. Heat slowly returned to Nawal's body, and his heart slowly began to beat again. His hands were the first to be completely unthawed, and they did not look good. some of his fingers blackened compleatly from frostbite, and would never recover. Finally, after 1,200 years, the icy prison that held Nawal captive released him from it's cold grip. He fell mask-first into the snow, unconscious, but alive.Nawal slowly got to his feet and stretched out his back. How long was he buried in the snow? A few hours? A day? Nonetheless, he would find out when he returned home, the weather looked like it had finally cleaned up. His fingers were black and numb, he would need thoes fixed when he got back. He headed back to Ko-Koro, and as he stood on a ledge looking over his old home, he gasped. His village was in ruins, and a message in the sky about hostages. Nawal ran towards Kini Nui, looking for answers.OOC: Nawal to Kini-Nui

IC: Riversong (walking with Bruntoa and Rannin)After another period of silence, Riversong said to her companions, "Are we close to our destination? It's nearly morning, and my friends will be looking for me."
