IC: SoliSlap! The sound filled the bar, halting the chaos, as Stronin's cheek started reddening. Soli had become angry, drunk Stronin was not a pleasure to be around. Not to mention it was an embarrassment to her bussiness, "Get up Stronin, we're leaving." She turned to the others, "Apologies, he's not normally like this."ooC: Finally Soli slapped someone. ![]()
IC: [stronin]"Yes ma'am," slurred Stronin. "But this means Imma lost my drinking contest."
IC: Soli"Stronin just get out of the bar." Soli replied impatiently, wondering why Stronin wasn't already out the door."
IC: [stronin]"Fine," he muttered, stumbling out the door and falling face first into the ground. "Ow."
IC: Soli Following after Stronin, Soli helped the Toa and began leading him towards her house.
IC: Tawara, Ta-Koro"Kitsune's m-my friend, too," stammered Tawara, scared and a bit puzzled at the intensity of Raion's anger. "I met h-her and Jikal today. I'm j-just tr-trying to help. She's your sister?" she asked.
IC: Raion, Ta-KoroRaion stared at Jikal for a few seconds, his eyes filled with pure, intense rage. "What happened? Who attacked?" He said slowly, barely able to control his anger. When the Matoran spoke, he turned on her, not suddenly, but not slowly. "Yes. My younger one." He said as he leaned down to her size. "And let me tell you something; if anything ever happened to her, I would personally locate and capture anyone who had to do with it. But death wouldn't be their fate, for that we be too much of a mercy."
IC: JikalJikal returned Raion's stare. "Some Skakdi went on a rampage. I went out to stop them, but I was outnumbered. Kitsune came to help me. The two surviving ones left, neither side was going to win the fight."
IC: Tawara, Ta-KoroTawara tried to respond, but somehow she couldn't quite get it out - she was too frightened. Instead of speaking, she slowly placed the needles and thread she had been using on the ground. My mind doesn't seem to be sure what emotion to feel today, the Matoran reflected wryly. First exhaustion, then optimism, then fear, then courage, and now fear again.
IC: Gyren looked at Tawara for a split-second before popping up in-between Jikal and Raion. "One of that Skakdi's friends died in the battle. He had this really cool thing!" Gyren said as he waved the disk launcher around. A disk shot out and smashed through the window of the Lavapool Inn. He laughed uneasily as he stowed it away in his duster. "Well anyways, his remains are over there. Perhaps you could track them down somehow." Gyren continued as he pointed to the dissected corpse on the ground. He was talking to Raion, but was just gazing down at Kitsune.
IC: [stronin]Stronin yawned as he walked after his employer. "Imma so sleepy," he muttered, before snoring as he collapsed onto Soli.
IC: Trad turned to look at the Toa of Magnetism. He asked,"Do you know where is Arthas, the blacksmith? He has something for me."
IC: DehkazThe bounty hunter shook his head, "Never heard of him. Although that just might be me, I don't come to Ta-Koro a lot."Dehkaz absent-mindedly twirled one of his knives around. "Try asking some of the local Ta-Matoran, they seem to know where everything is."OOC: First time RP'ing?
OOC: Ya. Was I that obvious?IC: "Thank you." replied Trad. He was about to leave the establishment when he was stopped by the bartender."You forgot to pay for your friend!" the bartender shrilly cried." He wasn't my friend, just a drunk who had lost control of his senses." ,Trad retorted. "Anyway, how much?""About 10,000 widgets.""Really? I saw your price list, my good man.""THAT WAS TOP QUALITY ALCOHOL THAT YOU BOTH CONSUMED! PAY UP!""All right,", grumbled Trad, passing him a piece of paper. It read:Get ready for fireworks!"I wanted money, not this-" asked the bartender. That was when Trad sent a current surging through one of the alcohol casks, causing a series of small explosions. However, he forgot that most people were injured due to debris flying from the core of an explosion and a piece of wood hit him in the gut."Ow.", was what Trad had to say before passing out.
OOC: Nah, not really. I just haven't seen you around before. ;)Good job RP'ing, BTW.IC: DehkazThe gunmetal armored Toa sighed, magnetized the bar tender to the counter, and picked up the fallen Toa of Lightning."You must not be from around here," he said to the unconscious Toa.He was about to walk out the door when two hulking Skakdi blocked the way. One of them gripped his sword. The other spoke, "He needs to pay."Dehkaz just smiled. "No, I don't believe he does."One of the Skakdi charged at him, swinging his massive sword. The bounty hunter ducked out of the way and the sword dug deep into a table. The Skakdi tugged on it, trying to pull the weapon out; but it was stuck. The second Skakdi circled around Dehkaz, waiting for an opening. The Toa of Magnetism didn't give him one, and magneticly slammed him into the ground. The first Skakdi managed to get his sword out, and swung it at the Toa of Lightning Dehkaz was carrying. It stopped inches from Trad's head. Skakdi number one looked around confused as his sword flew out of his hands, only to bash him over the head with the flat of the blade.Dehkaz smiled to himself. Magnetism was fun to use.The bounty hunter strode out of the bar a minute later, still carrying Trad. He set the Toa of Lightning down on a bench outside. Dehkaz sat down next to him, waiting for the Toa to wake up.OOC: Why is it that I seem to always make long posts with this character. :PAnd sorry for the location change-thingy.
IC: Gunner - Magma LoungeGunner sighed as he wiped the cider from his mask, "Cap, can we just go now?"He sounded surprisingly weary, which from Gunner, was something quite new.-Void
IC - Shady - Hunting Soli"Without a name, how are we supposed to find the blacksmith's sister?" he said softly, yet menacingly. There had been a strange eery somehow unsettled calmness in his persona since they'd left Ga-Koro. Was he loosing his touch with people? Was he too convoluted, or was it the other way around? He could slay a Toa in no time flat, but could he charm one? Confuse one? It worried him.Was he Zlynn, or was he Shady? Then there was Vibaya (or Requiem, as Shady had taken to calling him), the perfect outcast, villian, and murderer all packed into the one smoking genius he was."Should we check the bars?" the question had become instinct to him, even when he didn't have solid evidence of the target being in said location.
IC: Crankcase grunted, "I need weapons. This wrist blades are sharp, but hard to use seeing as they're broken. Happen to know any underground organisations?"
IC: Vibaya"Indeed, it id always a good place to search. Information flows as easily as the liquid for which they are formed." Vibaya commented, the black smoke drifting out of his mouth. The black smoke billowing out from under his robe as he levitated along was a clear sign. He was levitating in place, something he rarely did. It was a sign to anyone knew him well enough. He was on edge about something, something that he wasn't going to explain.
IC: MixmasterHe grunted, "Ha. Think I would be talking to you right now if I knew any underground organisations?"
IC: "I'm going to ignore that." Crankcase muttered, eyes narrowed, before lightening his mood, "Well, where to next? Got any loose ends you need tying, if you know what I mean?"
IC: MixmasterThe large Skakdi grinned, "Besides you? No, nothing."He swung his sword around a couple times."Lets just pick a place and go there."
IC: DemasThe Toa of Magnetism quickly threaded his way between the charred trees. Presently, the forest thinned, and he found himself at the edge of a clearing, which was, as far as Demas could see, occupied mainly by a large fence of charred wooden stakes several bio high. Of course, this did not bother Demas, as his mask enabled him to see that the fence surrounded a complex consisting of five or six buildings. He made his way around the fence to the right, until he came to a section of the fence that, while it could not be seen through, appeared as though it could be moved. Raising his fist, he gave two sharp knocks on the gate. He stepped back, crossing his arms and waiting.
IC: "First, Xa-Koro. I need weapons. Second, Ga-Wahi. I want revenge for... Stuff." Crankcase suggested.
IC: Mixmaster"Very well," the Skakdi said, standing up, "I need to fix my sword anyway."He turned to look at Crankcase and grinned, remembering their conversation in the bar. "Does revenge in Ga-Koro have to do with a certain shapeshifter and titan?"
IC: "What makes you say that?" Crankcase replied, presenting false ignorance, and failing miserably.
OOC:
plotting my own character's demise. Not really, though.
IC: Mixmaster"Oh, no reason," he said, shrugging."Well we better get a move on." He said, walking out of the forrest.
OOC: Speaking of which, I intend to get Crankcase killed for... Reasons
IC: "Indeed."The two Skakdi marched from the charred forest until they reached the beach, where Crankcase stole a boat and hopped aboard.OOC: You can make the migration post ![]()
IC: Kitsune & Raion, Ta-KoroRaion's anger shrunk at Jikal's answer, but it did not vanish. Raion nodded at him, showing he believed him. Just as he did this, Gyren popped up. Noticing his stare at Kitsune, Raion spoke. "Something interesting you?"OOC: Incase you're having trouble picturing Kitsune, bionicle-ize this : http://www.usagiyojimbo.com/sakai/galleries/tshogun/kitsune3.jpg
IC: JikalSince he had a moment to spare, Jikal inspected his shoulders. One had a plasma burn, and the other had crushed armor with a very deep gash.
OOC: Dibs on killing him.
IC: MixmasterHe hopped in the stolen boat, and made for the islands.OOC: Mixmaster and Crankcase to the Kumu Islets.
OOC: Oh heck, Krayz... sorry, I'm taking back the move to ga-wahi with Riaril.. That's really stupid.
Just forget it happened. Also, can someone give me a quick update on what happened with Tawara, Kistune, and Jikal? Thanks.
I just want my stalker to stay updated. XDIC: Riaril, TakimocRiaril looked at Krayzikk as Takimoc relieved her arms of Nakumiir's lifeless weight. "Why is it dead beings are always heavier than when they live?" She asked, a lump forming in the depths of her throat. Riaril was half-dead herself. How could she not feel that some part of her soul had been ripped to the winds, sprayed like buckshot into the abyss of torment and despair, now that her friend, and life, had disappeared in the blink of an eye. "Never let me drink again, Krayz," She muttered after a time, letting herself rest on a piece of random rubble lying in the roadway. I wonder where Faerulo and Moriika are...
OOC: Jikal & Co fought some gangsters, met a cannibal, fought some Skakdi, and they are now joined by Raion, and Kitsune is lying on the cold stone streets. Exciting stuff. Sorry for the OOC only post, I just had nothing to say IC.
OOC: Thanks Darkon.IC: The Dog.Ishi resisted smashing his skull into the wall he hid behind. He'd gotten no closer to finding out what a "mark bearer" really was in the past few hours than in lessening his debt to Xern. Pieces of the puzzle floated about in his brain like rocks falling into lava -- there one second, gone the next. All the while his quarry bantered, fought, ate, joked, and had now stopped moving entirely. Why can't Xern do any of the dirty work himself? Ishi clenched a fist and pounded it into the wall with his full strength, immediately regretting the pain, but above all the reverberating sound, of his actions.OOC: yes, Ishi is now discoverable.
IC - Raehn - Ta-Koro: Raehn followed after Durim and the other Ancora, wrapped in her thoughts as they walked through the streets of Ta-Koro. She stopped in the middle of the street. "So what's the plan?" she asked after a while.
IC: Durim"I have absolutely no idea at this point in time... and it appears that we have lost a member somewhere..." He noted, seeing that only three remained.
IC: [Quada]"I have absolutely no idea," said Quada cheerfully, echoing his leader. "But let's go recruit more people!"
OOC: Forget about what, Kughz?
By the way, a Krayzikk IC will be coming. Soon.IC: JikalJikal heard a very loud noise. And being on full alert, this made him investigate. Between his sensory net, it located electrical impulses in the living body, and the sound he pin-pointed Ishi easily. Walking up to his location, he once more activated his Mark.Eyes and Mark glowing poison green, Jikal had just enough power left from his Mark to slash through the wall with his broadsword. That done, he made the hole bigger with his fist. He glared through the hole, green eyes at their scariest."May I help you?"
IC: IshiIshi hopped back as if escaping a fiku when the wall exploded. The green eye and sudden strength of the swing, not to mention the quickly altering voice was all placed in the envelope labeled "Insane. Do not mess with this guy." Assuming a nonchalant pose, Ishi looked at the infuriating toa with placid, somewhat shocked eyes, and said; "Karz, here I was just beating on a wall after a bad day and now something comes out. Who'da known I was saving some toa from a stone trap."
IC: Jikal/Iris"This was no stone trap, little Matoran." Iris replied. There was a sudden sigh, in Jikal's normal tone as Jikal took back the reins. "You already had your fun, today, Iris."Jikal's eyes stayed green as he looked at Ishi, the Mark glowing on his shoulder. "Clearly something very bad happened, for you to beat the wall so much that I could hear it. Something very bad indeed, for you to not notice that a fight was occurring not twenty yards from your hiding spot!" Jikal's eyes narrowed. "You've been here a while. Always a small spot of an electrical field on the outskirts of my perception. I paid you no mind. I would have forgotten all it, had you not prompted me to think about this spot and make the connection."
