BZPRPG: Ko-Wahi

IC:AnktThe Toa in Black Armor wandered around the Ko-Koro Ruins, blood trickling down his head, a frown upon his face. He had just come from battle, battle against a weak opponent. As he wandered about, he spotted what looked like a Dark Knight. A Knight, with black armor. And tons of weapons strapped to it's back. Ankt grinned, and headed over towards the Knight. "Oi! Knight in Black Armor! You and me, to the death!"

IC: Esao (Ice Howl Inn, Ko-Koro)Esao walked out several minutes later, looking as though he'd been in a staring contest with the devil and keeping his movements tight and to a minimum, offering Sucogu a nod, Riversong and Amalod a smile, and Nova a small pat on the shoulder as he moved towards the buffet and picked out food wordlessly.-Teezy

"Good morning," Amalod says to Esao and Nova. "So, how did you two sleep?" she ask before slicing off a small piece of a pancake.The Toa of Fire turns around to face Ankt. Apparently, this being was craving a fight from her."Excuse me?" Vielah replies. "You want to fight me? Who the Karz are you?"-Mef Man

IC: Esao (Ice Howl Inn, Ko-Koro)Esao didn't give a verbal answer, but he gave a small chuckle to himself; the only real response Amalod got was a shake of his shoulders and a noncommittal one-slided slant of his mouth as the Toa of Fire sat down at a table by himself and chewed pensively on a chocolate chip waffle, reading the paper.-Teezy

Amalod simply shrugs at Esao's answer before turning back to Nova. "You?"-Mef Man

IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk appeared literally out of thin air at the buffet. A careful eye might notice he checked to make sure it was included with the room, before he went through the line, piling it high with food.He sat down at the same table as Esao, but at the farthest seat possible. He munched on a large pile of bacon in silence.

IC: Esao (Ice Howl Inn, Ko-Koro)"What up, homeboy?" mumbled Esao, reading through the paper before looking up, suddenly alert looking. "Hey! Yo! That concert's today!"-Teezy

IC: Krayzikk"What concert?"

IC: Zealokan'Okay then, I'll help you personally. But first, you'll need to tell me how to play the guitar.' He chuckled, and followed Uar out the village gates.OOC: I'll let Lorax make the travel post.

OOC: Gladly. Anyone who wants to can post the arrival.IC (Dekuna): And so the team left the ruins of Dekuna's house in search of their other teammates. Dekuna led them north-east through the mountains, which was the quickest way out of the frozen lands. Havon had said he would be going to the Motara Desert, which was much further east, but he decided to take this, less direct route over the surface on Onu-wahi to spare his companions: he and Uar were the only ones at home in the snow.The team didn't know it, but this was the same way out of Ko-wahi that the one(s) who had trashed Dekuna's house had taken. By the time evening fell, the Hau Karda were looking out over the canyons of Po-wahi.OOC: Just to summarise, Hau Karda to Po-wahi.

IC: Esao (Ice Howl Inn, Ko-Koro)"I didn't come here with Flyssa to solve a pest problem or take down terrorists! We came to see a concert that one of her favorite bands was playing!" he said, bouncing up excitedly, his dull, dead-looking purple eyes lighting up and regaining some of their beautiful depth and sparkle. "I still have two tickets. Anyone wanna hit it up with me?"-Teezy

"Ooh, I'd like that," Amalod says to Esao; smiling as she speaks. She'd never been to a concert before.-Mef Man

IC:Ankt"Did I stutter? The name's Ankt. Now draw your weapon, unless of course you're one of those weak opponents that aren't worth my time." He readied his spear. Hopefully this 'Dark Knight' would put up a better fight than his last opponent.

IC: NovaEarly morningDining room, Ice Howl InnNova's gaze was still affixed upon his plate; leaving his other two sausages to sit, he began eating his pancakes with ardor. Amalod's question made him pause but shortly. He glanced up when she asked the question, but his eyes immediately redirected downward."Uh. Yeah. I kinda slept well, I guess..." he answered quietly.Esao's question he answered more readily: "I dunno -- I mean, if we aren't supposed to be doing anything else, um, I'd like to -- like to come..."

IC: KrayzikkMight be fun. Except Amalod hopped on board, and I haven't got the money for a ticket. "Can't. For a variety of reasons." I'm broke. "You and Amalod have fun, though."Fun. Now that's a foreign concept. Darnit, Krayzikk. You're depressed, aren't you? And I bet it shows on your face.

IC - Veira - Destroyed Tea Joint"Hmm."Veira quickly levitated a seat to come under her."How are you, Paka?" she said tenderly.

IC: Esao (Ice Howl Inn, Ko-Koro)"A'ight, man, if you say so..." said Esao with a shrug. "Amalod, we can leave after breakfast if you want."-Teezy

"Well, uh, I don't have to go," Amalod says before turning back to her meal. "Esao, you make the call. We won't be upset if you choose someone else."-Mef Man

IC: NovaEarly morningDining room, Ice Howl Inn"Sorry," said Nova, awakening to the fact that he had placed himself in competition with Amalod. "Er, Esao, you can take Amalod. Um. Sorry about... about that..."His last four words were nearly inaudible to everyone but himself; he returned to his meal, his chewing more pensive than before.

IC: Esao (Ice Howl Inn, Ko-Koro)TWO INTERESTED PARTIES AND ONE TICKET WHAT DO"Hey, Nova. Buddy. Later on tonight, dinner on me. Just the two of us. Alright?"-Teezy

IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk didn't comment, just kept sullenly chewing his bacon. You know, alcohol sounds really good right now. Too bad you swore off it.

"And we'll look at the stars after you two get back, okay?" Amalod asks Nova; smiling as she speaks. The Toa of water places a hand on Nova's as she adds,"And, don't apologize. I'm sorry we don't have three tickets, but I promise we can all do something like this together soon.""Well, Ankt," Vielah begins. "How about I just buy you a drink and you can keep going on your way?"-Mef Man

IC: NovaEarly morningDining room, Ice Howl InnNova nodded, painfully swallowing the food in his mouth before speaking. "Uh, yeah, to the both of you -- that would be great. Thanks." He smiled a little but ducked his head quickly afterward. "And, Amalod -- it's no trouble. Really."

IC:Ankt"And why on earth would I give up the pleasure of fighting someone who seems to be stronger than most, for a drink?" Ankt asked, slightly confused. "Draw your weapon."

"Okay, thanks Nova," Amalod says to the Toa. "You're a sweet one," she adds before pulling her hand back and continuing to eat her meal. After swallowing, Amalod asks Esao,"So, when is this concert?""If you say so, Ankt," Vielah says while taking a step forward. "But, here's the catch: we fight with no weapons or armor. Just hand-to-hand combat. No masks. No elements. Not anything other than the parts on our bodies."-Mef Man

IC: Esao (Ice Howl Inn, Ko-Koro)"This afternoon," said Esao, sobering up a little and dusting off some of the particles from his black leather outfit. "I'm gonna go...make sure that our seats are reserved."He activated his Volitak and walked out the door. He didn't really want anyone to be with him for this next bit.-Teezy

IC:AnktThe Toa thought about it for a second before answering. "Alright, nothing like a change in the rules to spice things up." Ankt grabbed his spear and tossed it a few feet away. He waited for Vielah to do the same.

"But, don't you-" It was too late, Esao was out the door. Amalod turns to the others and shrugs slightly before turning back to her meal.Vielah sets down her weapons and the journal she had found."No armor either," she states as she begins to unbuckle her armor; grinning mischievously. Not only would their fists do more damage to their bare skin, but the cold would also affect them faster. Karz, they might even catch pneumonia from sweating in the freezing weather.-Mef Man

IC:AnktAnkt quickly unlatched his armor, and placed it next to his spear. "You ready?"

"Patience is a virtue," Vielah replies as she continues to take off piece after piece of armor. She obviously wore quite a bit of it, but she was soon dressed in nothing more than a tiny, red pair of underwear."Okay. Ready," she replies; still grinning. The Toa of fire takes up a defensive position; hands held out beside her.-Mef Man

IC: KrayzikkThe large pile of food quickly vanished, eerily quietly for such a large being.

IC: Esao (Ice Howl Inn, Ko-Koro)"Hey, Flyssa."Esao had gone straight to the venue, as promised, but not to check the seats; he had snuck backstage and met up with the band, getting the autographs of all five members on a snare drum and buying it off them for a dirt cheap price. Then, as he had promised himself the moment he remembered the concert, he went straight to the only place in Ko-Wahi that had any real meaning for him: the grave of his best friend."It's me. Esao. Listen, the concert's today, and...I felt like if I burned the tickets, you'd consider it sacrilege. So I'm going with a teammate. I'm sorry I gave your ticket away, I just...felt like you wouldn't want it to go to waste. So to make it up to you, and to let you know, wherever you are, that I'm thinking about you..."He set the drum down reverently at the base of Flyssa's Kanohi and grinned."All five band members signed it for you. They thought it was a nice tribute and they wanted you to know that tonight, they're playing for you. And I want you to know...I am, too. I miss you already, girl. I didn't get a wink of sleep last night because I felt like it'd be wrong for me to sit back and relax while you were left unavenged, and I know that's not what you want, but...I feel empty without having someone to talk to all the time. You're my best friend. I love you and I miss you."Through teary eyes, he laughed and looked down at his knees."God forbid any of the others followed me, they'd think I'm a sap..."-Teezy

IC:Ankt"I'll let you have the first hit." Ankt said, not entering any kind of fighting position at all. "Punch me, kick me, hit me as hard as you can. That might make this fight slightly more even for you."

"You want to go on a walk?" Amalod asks Nova. "Maybe we can talk a bit and I need to pick up a few things around the village. Maybe a few stores are open," the Toa adds, not sure how the economy of the stores were doing after the destruction of the village.Vielah shrugs as she slowly walks closer and closer toward Ankt. The Toa of Fire was soon directly in front of Ankt and walks right up to him. Their lips were almost touching as she simply stands there. For over eighty seconds, Vielah Nuvay simply stands still. After about eighty-seven seconds, she quickly brings her knee up in between Ankt's legs. with amazing speed.-Mef Man

IC:AnktAnkt wasn't distracted by Vielah's looks, or by her uncomfortably close stance. The kick between the legs distracted him a bit, but not enough to keep him from sending a back-fist at Vielah's Mask. Now, the backfist is usually a strike that you use when you need a quick hit, one that will stun the opponent for a crucial half second or so. But with Ankt's strength, if it hit Vielah, it would stun her for more than a half second. Three or four seconds if she was really tough. Seven to ten if she wasn't.

Vielah crosses her arms to block the blow, forcing her to take a step back and not continue her kick. The Toa takes one for step back before rushing forward and sending a flying knee toward Ankt's mask.-Mef Man

IC:AnktAnkt responded by sweeping his hand from above the left side of hit head towards his right knee, catching Vielah's leg with the movement and sweeping it away from his body and potentially knocking her off balance. It also knocked him off balance, so if Vielah managed to recover before Ankt, she would have the distinct advantage. But, if Ankt managed to recover before Vielah, he would posses the distinct advantage. Whoever gained the advantage thanks to this move would most likely gain it due to sheer luck.(Unless there's something in Vielah's profile that would assist her here and I just skimmed over it.)

Vielah Nuvay spins around in the snow, losing her balance. She quickly back flips into a proper standing position before charging toward Ankt; swinging the underside of her leg at Ankt's neck.-Mef Man

IC: "Yes," Paka said in response to Jasik's query. The matoran chuckled slightly. "I think Veira answered that well enough.It turned to said Ba-Toa. "Well enough, though fame and altercations have taken their toll. I've been helping out with the recovery effort in this koro and with the Hive Assault," Paka explained. "I believe I was late to the party in both cases. But that's enough for now."In any case," The matoran said to shift subjects, "I don't presume I need ask any similar questions to you. What I would like to ask is: Do you have any plans to stay here?"

IC: NovaEarly morningDining room, Ice Howl Inn"Uh... su-sure, Amalod," he half-said, half-mumbled to his plate. His meal was almost gone; only the two sausages and a bit of pancake remained. Using his fork, he swiped a sausage through the syrup, then ate it with a piece of the pancake.

Amalod stands up and stretches a bit; preparing to leave. She wasn't that hungry and the Toa was getting a bit sick of the inn. The thoughts of smelling the fresh air outdoors sounded lovely.-Mef Man
