BZPRPG: Onu-Wahi

IC: Venen"Nex? A fitting name. So, Nex, you simply want me to kill someone? Why not hire assassins, or mercenaries, rather than approach people such as me?" My mind was processing everything. This offer was good, in fact, it was too good. How would this being profit from this? 'Nex,' of course, wasn't his name. He had hesitated before answering, something that someone wouldn't do unless they had to think of a false name of some sort. His lack of preparation by not thinking of one beforehand either meant he wasn't as smart as I thought he was.... or he had underestimated me, thought I would simply march away."If you have nothing else to tell me, then I accept. Who is my first target?" I could profit from this quite a bit, besides the risks. And I wanted to know how he would gain from this.

IC: Nex"Because assassins will not be enough, there is more to be done than assassins and mercenaries, as dangerous as they are, can manage on their own. And you, have potential to be among those assassins and mercenaries, to improve you skills beyond what you ever thought possible."The pause had been for dramatic effect, but Venen didn't know this, and Nex didn't know that Venen didn't know. He expected it would be obvious. his false name had been planned out along with his plot. He had neither under or over estimated Venen, there had just been a slight misunderstanding that was not important."The first target, as you call him, Is a being called Volin. He is currently in Po-Koro."

IC: Skyra, Wraith, MimiraSkyra caught on to what Merror was doing. He was trying to get as much information out of this sucker. This guy was arrogant enough to think he could kill them all. "Merror is right! If you're so against Makuta, why would you have Pirok killed and become a murder just like Makuta? What are you really up too?" Hopefully, this guy would see the need to explain himself to 'justify' his actions, then they'd know everything. Of course, he'd probably try to kill them next, Skyra had to be ready for that. Especially for Mimira's sake.

IC: JLJL watched as the fool who said he was on their side started StupidityFest. He kept his sword charged, simply for the light.JL: If you're on our side, why do you have a 'secret' plan? And what does it have to do with Pirok?

IC: Fehron: Fehron hopped in too. "Say, Kranuka, where are we going again?"OOC: I suppose we will have to wait for Ardoku.

IC: Venen"So, all I do is this track down and kill this Volin? That's it?" I didn't see why he hadn't gone to an assassin... but the best of those generally charged quite a bit. I wondered if this 'Volin' had done anything, or if he was some random, unlucky person.A thought struck me. "Before I go, have you ever heard of Thedar Chronn? Owner of Dark C Investigations?"OOC: Nex hasn't yet mentioned the tablets to Venen, just so you know.

IC: [Arkrak]"Alright," said the Toa of Sonics said, "what exactly do you want me to do then?"

IC: The Shadow"Be aware, Toa." The Shadow began, "I know exactly what you are doing, therefore I am not going to reveal to you the most important details of my plot."I have a great plan, which will change the face of Mata-Nui (OOC: I know, terrible pun) forever. The Makuta needs subjects over which to rule; With no-one to rule over he is simply a maniac."IC: Pirok"Do you mean you're going to kill all the Matoran? Over my dead body!" Pirok shouted angrily.IC: The Shadow"As you wish." The Shadow replied.OOC: I made two bad puns in one post. (The Shadow isn't aware that the Island is Mata-Nui's face, that was an OOC pun)

IC: Skyra, Wraith, Mimira"Well that's okay, don't tell us your dumb plan, it would never work anyway, you couldn't possibly kill everyone on the island, heck, you can't even kill us!"Skyra drew his katanas, the laser tips on the blades glowed a bright green. "Let's dance." Skyra went into a dueling stance, ready for combat. "Who want's some come on!"

IC: The Shadow"Correction: He," The Shadow began, gesturing towards Invisible, "could not kill you. I only keep him because he is necessary to the Plan."IC: Pirok"And where do I fit into this?" Pirok queried.IC: The Shadow"Many centuries ago, your friend, Proditor, found me. He discovered details of the Plan, so I sent Invisible to prevent him informing anyone. Later, Proditor returned, and he told you some of the details of the plan. I had Invisible silence Proditor; Next he will silence you."

IC: Ardoku"To Po-Koro, Let's GO!" And in those words, Ardoku's taxi ussal took off into the darkness...

IC: Skyra, Wraith, MimiraSkyra gestured Mimira to step back.Mimira ran behind a pillar, holding a dagger Skyra had given to her, just in case things got ugly."Alright, whatever you call yourself. You and that pathetic servant of yours are under arrest, I'm taking both to the Ussalry, unless..."Skyra's eye sockets seemed to darken, his voice become much more...serious. "...unless you prove to dangerous...then will have to kill you.""Make this easier on yourself and just surrender. You're not fooling anything with this 'evil mastermind' act." Skyra turned to Invisible. "So, come on Invisible...take me on, I dare you. Don't worry, I promise a 1 on 1 fight if you do."

IC: The Shadow, Pirok (Toa) & InvisibleInvisible looked at Skyra. It was somewhat obvious that if he fought, he would lose. Luckily, The Shadow intervened."Hah! Arrest us? Arrest us? You honestly think that The Shadow can be defeated that easily?" Was that question rhetoric? Shut up. The Shadow then turned to Invisible, and nodded.Invisible saw his Master's signal. He wasn't sure what to do. His Master had never told him his plan involved the death of all the Matoran. He thought he may as well follow his orders for now. He sent out a sonic blast at all the beings in the cave, enough to leave them unable to hear or see for a few seconds. He then ran out, and his Master followed him."Cave it in.""Yes Master." Invisible said, sending another sonic blast into the cave, this one enough for the ceiling to begin falling in."Now: Come with me, Invisible."Invisible knew it was time to make his decision. He decided to run."The traitor!" The Shadow exclaimed. You honestly thought he was going to help you kill everyone on the island? But it's for the greater good! I'd hoped he would understand...Invisible soon reached Onu-Koro, but was as of yet unsure what to do.OOC: Invisible open for interaction. And you guys better get out of that cave, fast.

OOC: ...Cadias.

"I am the leader of NEX, a group of the islands best murderers. But in your case, some of the most swift and effective. You have a lower kill count than most of the others I seek, but I believe you have the skills to be among the greatest. All I ask is that you kill others, and leave a mere tablet upon the ground. And for this, you will be rewarded."

IC: Skyra, Mimira, Wraith"This is why I hate caves!" Skyra activated his mask of shielding and grabbed Mimira. "Alright guys, I'm gonna use a powerful blast of air to launch us out of here, pray that it works, cause if it doesn't, it'll just make it cave in on us faster."Skyra summoned what strength he had and made the most powerful blast of wind he could muster. He and the others began to fly forward toward the exit.

IC (Merror)Merror and the others shot out of the cave just before the ceiling collapsed with an earth-shaking WHAM.The Toa of Fire landed gracefully on his feet, thanks to his Calix. Having checked that the others were okay, he held out a hand to Pirok to help him up."We need to get after that Vortixx," he said grimly. "Maybe he's just another lunatic who thinks he's going to kill everyone, but even so he's clearly dangerous. I suggest we get back to Onu-Koro - it looks like that's the way they went.IC (Zadron)Zadron, walking along with his hood up, noticed a Toa of Sonics run into the Koro.

IC: Clo'on withdrew a money-purse from within some pocket of his pack and dug within for a handful of small widgets. He passed them to Midak and the two of them hopped aboard an ussal each. They were soon on their way through the darkness of Onu-Wahi, the well-trained crabs knowing their way better than any Matoran guide

OOC: Krauka and Co. to Po-Wahi

OOC: @Merror, You cannot get BACK to Onu-Koro since its not in between a cave and Ta-Wahi. And Onu-Koro, ain't that a underground village? If thats so, caving that cave entrance in would have led to us just walking down there, right?IC: JLJL hurtled out of the cave, faceplanting in the dirt. Picking himself up, he picked at his mask until he was satisfied it wasn't muddy.

IC: Skyra, Mimira, Wraith"Get back there? We were never there!" Skyra said while marching forward to their next destination, Onu-koro."Skyra? Is that scary guy really gonna kill everyone?" Mimira said looking worried. "Don't be silly sis. He's completely delusional. No one could do that."

OOC: Oh, whatever. IC: Venen"Simple enough. There is one thing I'd like before I leave, though... a basic description of this Volin. Even with his name, tracking him down might be tricky." Some beings, I suppose, would be horrified that a complete stranger had asked me to kill someone I'd never heard of before and that I'd accepted.Stll, they weren't me. I was determined to reach my goal, in this case a business that would hopefully profit. If someone had to die for me to further my goal.... so be it.

IC: Nex"Like I have said before, I expect you will learn the skills you need to become one of the greatest killers. The first one, is to learn how to be resourceful."He could easily tell Venen what he wanted to know, but... there was such a thing as making things was too easy. And he decided if Venen was going to learn, now was the perfect time to start his training."Find Volin yourself, prove that you are resourceful enough to be efficient, and you will receive a greater reward... or I could tell you, and the greater reward would be lost."

IC: Fresh from recieving his mission and tablet, Hatann navigated the tunnels of Onu-wahi towards Ta-wahi. it was one of the most populated areas on the island, so he was sure it would be easy to find someone to assist with his job. Someone to carry the tablet.OOC: Hatann to Ta-wahi.

IC: VenenI thought it over, frowning slightly. I could, of course, give up the reward, but it wouldn't be hard to track down Volin unless I was quite mistaken. He most likely lived in Po-Wahi, considering that it was his current location, and therefore would have to travel to Po-Koro for supplies. If I was mistaken, then my job was considerably harder."Would I lose this reward if I asked the region he lived in? Po-Wahi, Ta-Wahi, so on so forth."

IC: Nex"He is in Po-Koro. Anything else, and you will lose the option of the better reward."He replied, supporting himself with the staff in his grasp. A small grin appeared on his face, the testing of the least experienced, and possibly the most dangerous of NEX's members was beginning. And Nex was prepared to shape the Toa into a highly deadly master of the art of death.

IC:Kohra felt actually relieved to not having to walk the whole distance to the underground village. The Vortixx pulled up her legs closer to her body as the Ussal moved through the darkness, following the other one with Clo'on. An amused smile crossed her face and she shared the thought with the Toa of stone: "The smaller ones are definitely more comfortable to ride.", she said, referring to her involuntary rodeo on the back of the Nui-Jaga.

IC TorvTorv sighed sadly. "Don't be so sure Snelly, he seems to truly have a drive for this. The sad truth is that it all comes down to will power. We have a will to survive and protect others, Makuta to enslave, and this psychopath to destroy. In the end the strongest will shall win out. It is how, even though Makuta is on paper stronger, the Matoran have stronger will to survive. Everything comes down to our willpower. It is what enables us to keep fighting against Makuta even after the Mata were defeated. Unfortunately willpower can be taken and used by our enemy. Those with the strongest will, fight like no other to make their dream come true. Those with no will, shall fall in battle. Let us hope that our will is the stronger one."

IC: Skyra, Mimira, Wraith"Ya, ya I hear ya, but here's the thing. My willpower is off the charts." And without another word, Skyra dashed off even faster, daring everyone to keep up with him.

IC: VenenI sighed quietly. This Turaga expected me to track down a being in a city full of Matoran and Toa alike with nothing more than a name. It was, to say the least, rediculous. Still, I intended to get the greater reward.I looked down at the tablet, studying it. It was just a simple stone tablet, with carved into it. Yet it would mean so much more once the body had been found."Fine. I will find this Volin. A pleasure doing business with you." With a small bow, I turned and walked away, toward the Po-Koro tunnel.

IC (Merror)"Get back, as in, go that way," Merror said patiently, jerking his thumb over his shoulder to indicate the tunnel stretching off behind them.As the group moved off along it, Merror heard Torv speak about willpower."Makuta may have willpower, and his servants too," he said, "but we have faith, and hope. Makuta cannot understand them; he thinks they are weaknesses, but in truth they are far more powerful than anything he possesses."Merror, thanks to his natural agility and Kanohi Calix, easily caught up with Skyra and ran next to him."Overconfidence and willpower are different things," he said, smiling wryly, and overtook the Toa of Air. "Makuta is powerful, but he has too much pride his own strength, and underestimates ours. And that is why we will be victorious."

IC: NexHe nodded at the Toa as he left, and when Venen was out of range, began speaking."Good luck, you are going to need it if you plan on winning against the foe I have sent you against. The fighting could go either way. Win, and prove yourself worthy of being under the name NEX."With that, the Turaga hobbled along, searching for the most dangerous of his potential members to NEX. The beings was at the very top on his list of dangerous individuals, a master of killing with a perfect record of assassinations. The next person he was seeking was a Vortixx, who was known by the name of Zadron.

IC: "I reckon its the number of legs," Clo'on said, "Ussal have fewer of them so the rider is smoother." He paused then smiled, "Of course the lack of claws, stingers and fangs probably helps too."

IC: VenenI walked down the tunnel, using the lightstone I had taken earlier to illuminate my path. I wondered about my opponent. Was this Volin a master at fighting, or a mere Matoran? Was he a Skakdi, or a Vortixx, or one of the odd species that sometimes showed up on the island? There was, I figured, only one way to find out.I walked down the tunnel, toward Po-Koro and my victim.OOC: Venen to Po-Wahi.

OOC: Ardoku and CO. to Po-Wahi...

IC: Skyra, Mimira, Wraith"Overconfidence? Why I don't know what your talking about." Skyra said slyly.The group could see light up ahead, the cave ceiling above had a sign, it read, 'Onu-koro just ahead.'"So, this is- Onu-koro. To be honest, it's a lot brighter than I thought it would be."

IC (Zadron)"You know," said a voice from behind Nex, "if you go around hiring every assassin in Onu-Koro, someone is bound to notice."Zadron stepped out of the shadows between two huts.IC (Merror)"Even Onu-Matoran can't see in pitch blackness," Merror said. "And as it's Mata Nui's trade centre, they need to make it welcoming for outsiders."As they crossed a torchlit square, Merror spotted a familiar mask - it was the Toa assassin from earlier, The Shadow's minion. Merror instantly sped off towards him.

IC: JLJL kept silent throughout the journey, although he had quite a bit of things to say. Willpower and Emotion was what they had - the only thing left was Knowledge. As they entered Onu-Koro, Merror's eyes glinted, and he ran off. JL followed.

IC: NexThe Turaga turned toward the much, much taller Vortixx, a cold calm upon his face. He wasn't even phased by the deadliest person on his list. Nothing ever seemed to bother him, he just didn't really seem to care how powerful the person he was speaking to really was."Perhaps, but not many beings know who the dangerous ones are. It appears that you do as well as I, perhaps there is a reason for that Zadron, I am sure that you are very well informed on those who may pose a threat to your business."He paused for a moment before continuing."But, I wonder how much you know about me..."

IC TorvBefore Merror could be seen by the Toa, Torv put a hand on his shoulder. "We need to handle this a little more discreetly, allow me." Torv morphed his body into that of The Shadow's. Stepping into Invisible's sight Torv walked towards him. "Did you really think you could just run away from me?" Torv said in The Shadow's voice. "You fool!"
