Techna: Breakdown

IC: TainTain stepped into the elevator. He was still mistrustful of the AI, but he figured this was currently his best option.

IC, Kinvex: Kinvex, still wide-eyed, nodded his head and continued to follow Esao.

IC: (Aihus-CHI Tower)Aihus couldn't help but be a bit relieved. So, it was a corrupt bureaucrat who stole state funds. Viewing Esao with a great deal of respect, he followed along with new vigor. "Might I join your guild?" he asked the agent.

IC: New Metru NuiThe necromancer arrived at a settlement and he was out of breathe and could not catch it.He looked around hoping to find help but he was too scared to approach anyone. So be just wandered around without purpose. Maybe someone would talk to him but he guessed he would be ignored.Where am I? he wondered.

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)Shrugging at the still stricken reactions of some of the other team members, I turned and dialed my link, trying to get a connection to Krayzikk. Suddenly, I cursed mentally, feeling a wave of nausea hit me.Probably wasn't pure dyoxis, I thought to myself with a curse as a second wave hit. Ugh..."Sure," I muttered to Aihus. "Welcome to the family."-Teezy

[iC: Stronin]"So Ai woman, what's your name?"

IC: KrayzikkIncoming call from Esao Mandala.....Accept? Y/NY"What can I do for you?" Krayzikk said, breaking from the usual routine of sarcasm.

IC: (Aihus-CHI Towers)With a slight grin upon his face, Aihus went quiet. He was rather happy at the thought of going back into action, whether he was fighting the Barraki or Hackers.Despite being rather anxious for combat, Aihus avoided asking aabout the subject. The look on Esao's face told him that his new leader was not in a talkative mood.

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)"Krayzikk," I said, barely managing to keep my voice neutral without vomiting. "Listen, I've taken charge of CHI. Gael's...a bit tied up right now. I need you to get into his bank accounts and seize them all as evidence. Run them against the Drazen cartel seizures from last month. You'll like what you find."I sighed. What was coming next was something so totally un-me that it was even driving a chill up my spine."And...I need your help. We'll talk about it in a few minutes. Preferably privately."-Teezy

IC: Krayzikk and AthenHe's right about the bank records. Freezing all assets and seizing records as evidence now."Alright, Esao. I'll meet you outside the CHI building, that work for you?" Krayzikk was surprised, though he didn't let it show. Whatever Esao needed, it was important.

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)"No!" I said suddenly. "Special Agent in Charge's office. There's no surveillance there. When can you be here?"-Teezy

IC:Krayzikk"Ten minutes, tops." Krayzikk answered. He made a motion to Gust to indicate he had to go. Quickly, he started toward the base of the Citadel.

IC, Kinvex: Kinvex looked at Esao. Whatever it was ESao wanted to talk about, it seemed important. Kinvex said nothing, however.

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)"Alright, Krayzikk. Thanks," I said, slightly unsteadily. As I walked into the bullpen, I heard the familiar whispers as I walked through the building, fear and anger and disbelief all intertwined in the song of a group of people who knew exactly what I did but never appreciated it. The people I worked alongside, my "teammates," despised me.Sadly, I was used to it."Is he sweating?""Esao never sweats--""--I heard he had his sweat glands removed--"A sound escaped from my throat, somewhere between a growl and a quiet dry sob, and I spun off from the group, headed towards Gael's former office."Fill the others in," I called back, struggling to keep my voice even. "I have some calls to make."Before any of them could reply, I had bounded up the stairs and walked into the office, pressing a button on the desk and tinting the windows. I was unseeable.I walked over to the chair and plopped down into it, putting my head in my hands and sighing raggedly. What's happening to me...-Teezy

IC: KrayzikkThanks? Krayzikk thought. Esao never says thanks. Not without sarcasm, at least. I better hurry.Reaching the ground floor, Krayzikk transformed and floored it. At his current speed, it would take him just over four minutes to arrive. ***************Four minutes and twenty two seconds later, Krayzikk screeched to a stop in front of the CHI building. Shifting forms once more, he hurried up to the correct office. People scrambled to get out of his way, as he walked through the building at a fast pace. Reaching the door, he knocked.

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)"Come in, Krayzikk," I yelled, deactivating the four-digit lock code on the door. No doubt Athen could have deactivated it given time, but this required urgency. I was in charge of the Counter Hacker Initiative now. That meant I needed to get the dyoxis thing under control, once and for all."Please. Sit."-Teezy

IC: Skyra - Citadel -Skyra watched as Krayzikk sped away, and then looked at Gust. "So...your the head honcho now-a-days huh?"

IC - Arell - Talking to AiruAiru felt a tap on his shoulder. Turning, he found that it was Arell."Well, we've have concluded our mission," she said, in reference to the Elites.

IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk looked skeptically at the wooden chair. "I would, but I don't think that will hold my weight." He looked back to Esao. The Toa looked like karz. "Esao. You look like karz."

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)"You robots say the nicest things," I said, muttering and looking into a mirror. Krayzikk was right: my eyes were darkly circled, and in place of their normally piercing sapphire blue, a dull navy had settled into my irises. "But yeah."I looked over to the National Security Adviser."You...you remember the Drazen op, don't you?"IC: Airu (The Citadel, New Metru Nui)"Good," he said, looking over the team. "Head to Conference Room 2 and I'll be there to debrief you in about five minutes.IC: Gust (The Citadel, New Metru Nui)"Yeah," said the Toa Techna of Air with a laugh. "Surprised? Me too."-Teezy

IC-Kal:Meanwhile, Kal sat in the corner, fiddling absently with the scope on his rifle. He lifted it up, looking through it. Then he turned it to the side, and looked up into a small icon in the corner of his eye-visor. The scope's view shifted up onto his eyes, taking up the whole space. Perfect. He blinked, resetting it back to the normal view."So...now that the pizza is gone," Kal said, finishing the last piece, "Are we planning to head out?"

IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk nodded. "Yeah. Last field mission I went on." Krayzikk had a sinking feeling he wouldn't like where this was going.

IC: The WastesSo far, Arketh hadn't spotted one being traversing the barren lands. While a little disappointing, it wasn't something needed to be worried about. His flying and searching had brought him closer to that great volcano. Since there didn't seem to be any prey around, maybe he could explore that mountain...Soaring through the air, the grim being unlocked an intradimensional gate and flew into it. While it may take a few portals to get there, travel by his gates were much faster than flying.

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)I sighed raggedly, hearing a trace of defeat in my voice and tightening my closed eyes at the undertone."As part of my cover, I went in as a Toa named Esao Radke, an ex-Techna Guard member turned desperate mercenary-for-hire. I was in for six months, up until the day the Techna Nui crashed. I was assumed dead by the cabal."I opened the drawer of Gael's desk and found my packet of syringes. So he had known after all...Taking it out and laying it on the desk, I met Krayzikk's grim, robotic eyes. "As part of my cover, I was forced to do a lot of things, and I was granted immunity for all of them."I tossed the packet at him and waited for him to open it."I don't know what else to do."-Teezy

IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk had a feeling he knew what was inside before he even opened the package. The instant he looked inside, he sank into the chair. For once, the robot looked almost alive. His head was bowed, his hands held loosely in his lap. "Mata Nui... I'm so sorry..." His voice held traces of shock.

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)"Don't be. I knew what I was getting myself into."I had never liked being pitied. The room descended into a sad silence for several moments before I grinned and laughed quietly."Hey. At least I'm not a Terminator, right?"-Teezy

IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk would have scowled if he could. "Hardy-har. You ever take the time to read that incident report? They took down a high-ranking group of weapons dealers because I slowed them just enough."

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)"So, what now? Am I fired? Arrested? Given a medal?"-Teezy

IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk was quiet a moment. "You're not arrested, or fired. You probably deserve a medal, but I'd have to consult with Gust to get you one. And I don't think either of us want that. So as it is, nothing changes. Except, we're gonna get you off this stuff."

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)"Yeah," I said. "Of course we are. By the way, Gael's handcuffed to a pole up on the roof. Just in case you want to take him in at any point."I stood up and walked towards the door, intending to go back to the bullpen. As he walked, I gripped Krayzikk's shoulder wordlessly in thanks. I walked towards the door and almost had it opened when I stopped."Hey, Krayzikk," I said, not turning around. "I'm sorry if I seem...cold a lot of the time. It's a hard knock life, y'know?"-Teezy

IC: Skyra - Citadel -"A little bit yeah. But then again, what would I know? I was in stasis for 700 years."

IC: Krayzikk"You're talking to the dead guy who got brought back as a robot. I don't think you can beat me in the cold department." Krayzikk's words held traces of a smirk. "But I appreciate the sentiment."

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)I gave a small laugh."Yeah. Good point, that."I opened the door and closed it softly, walking down the stairs to the bullpen.-Teezy

IC: Mars stared into her cup moodily.She didn't know why she had bought the water, really. She wasn't thirsty and hadn't been for the past few hours.What Mars did know why was her reason for sitting there, in a dingy and dimly-lit cleaning closet she'd locked on the way in, was a problem she needed to solve.What was up with Esao just didn't fit. Admittedly, that arresting of his superior had been distinctively Esao in its cool, 'I don't give two droppings' sticking Gael's mask where it belonged-and a little hot (if ill-advised).But everything before that?Mars thought back to after Esao had patched himself up. As she had removed her tantou to check on him, she caught the skin he was covering up again start to flush. And it was no blush, either-she had seen the flush on the bit of his arm where the leather jacket had been removed from its covering position.Then there was the airship. Mars had found a pale and haunted Esao heading to the ship's bathroom. There was no way he was going to the bathroom to use it with those looks, postulated the matoran from her own experience-more to reflect on something truly terrible.Finally, and most forsaking, was what she had just seen. Esao had staggered into his office as haggard and distraught as Mars had ever seen him; sweating, bag-eyed, almost groaning. He then opaque'd the windows and locked himself inside.Something was missing. Something vital was just hanging beyond her perception. Something that would...That would...Mars paused in alarm.Since when had her Kaukau's bottom edge resided in water?The matoran almost shot her face from the cup. Grabbing it and dousing her mask in water to prevent further stupor, Mars unlocked the closet and staggered out.

IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk stood, and exited the room. He walked downstairs, and walked outside. He looked at Gael. "You are hereby under arrest. Continue to slumber on like the fool you are, and I will take you into custody."

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)"Alright!" I barked out. "What do we got?"The faces of the CHI analysts stared at me confusedly."What? We're in the Crisis Center of New Metru Nui, and we don't have any terrorist threats?"Still silence."A'ight, then. Someone grab me coffee."A lone analyst stood and shuffled away to the frappuchino maker, and I smirked slightly, turning and watching Mars stagger out."There you are!" I said, pointing at her and winking. "Just the girl I wanted to see."-Teezy

IC - Zarayna - New Metru Nui [Leaving CHI]:As much as i'm interested in CHI, the current turn of events don't seem quite enjoyable, so I decide to head back into the city and claim my reward. Not pausing to say farewell, I activate my Kakama and zip out into the city.OOC: Okay, I'm leaving for a bit, so Zar will be back when I am.

IC: "Funny, you're just the guy I wanted to see," Mars managed with a tired smirk. She staggered up to before the toa of Fire.I can't mention the problem, the matoran had thought upon seeing Esao. Not now-it's not the right time, and he's starting to look better anyways.So the warrior instead attempted to speak of the thing preventing her from mentioning much at all."I'm afraid, though, that I may not be able to see much of said guy right now," Mars said as she blinked her eyes open. "Need to reload before next op."OOC: 'Reload'=Mars-speak for 'Sleep'.

IC: (Ckase - Science District)I sighed a sigh of relief as I was deposited safely outside some building in... the Science District? I walked about, trying to find my way out of this place and to Kharzia.OOC: Ckase open for interaction.
