  • IC: The PyroThe Pyro sputtered and roared with rage. He then noticed Kodu coming at him and batted him away with the flat of his axe. Spinning around, he struck Hanix in the face on the same stroke. Unfortunately, none of those strokes were fatal, and worse, the other Toa of Fire was close behind. Then, he noticed a silver shape holding a smallsword and a parrying dagger running towards him. He remembered this matoran; it was Londar, the mercenary he had hired! Motivated by the extra ally, he started aswinging his axe around wildly, roaring in defiance and in the frenzy of battle.IC: LondarLondar had finally gotten close enough to see the action of the fight. Sure enough, his client was in the thick of battle, trying to defeat a toa of water while a toa of fire and a ko-matoran were short behind. But he was still too far away. In desparation, he launched a plan: He threw three snowballs, one for each of the attackers. Hoping he had diverted their attention, he assumed the traditional Épée stance. "En garde!" he yelled. "Qui ose me faire face?! (Who dares to face me?!)"

  • IC: The PyroThe pyro felt the chain pull on his neck. He knew it would be useless to try and resist. Instead, he lunged forward, and ripped the chain out of Hanix's hands and getting it off of his neck while raising his axe in an attempt to to crush the toa of water for once and for all, while summoning a huge wall of fire behind him that rushed towards his foe (should look like a scene from Ghost Rider)IC: LondarLondar and Zakama proceeded to duel. Zakama lunged at him, but Londar parried both of his katana with ease before disarming him of both of his katana. "Go on," he said. "Pick them up. Go on, go on." Zakama picked his katana up again and lunged forward again. This time, he was smart enough to attack with both swords at unpredictable angles, so Londar was forced to use his parrying dagger, however, Londar was still able to disarm the toa, who had an incredulous look on his face. "Oh, not fair?" Londar asked. "Ok then, away the dagger goes," he said while throwing the dagger to the side, STRAIGHT AT HANIX. "Want a third round?"

She doused herself in water and then piled out her Katana and ran towards Pyro.

  • OOC: Sorry, just didn't know how to make a fencing sceneIC The PyroThis fight was dragging on for too long, and the Pyro knew it. If he was ever going to make it to Onu-Wahi alive, he was going to have to do it now. He charged at Hanix, but at the last moment swerved to the left and made a mad dash for Onu-Wahi.IC: LondarX-Scissor! Londar put his sword into a block, but the strength of the toa was beginning to take its toll on his body. "One desperate chance!" he thought. With that, he suddenly stopped blocking, ducked, swerved to the side, and lunged at the toa, hoping to "score the point".

And as soon as he thought that, a shield blocked the lunge, and Zakama was safe, "I...I'm alive? IM ALIVE!!" he exclaimed as he threw his fists Ito the air, "Can't believe I can do that!"

  • IC: The PyroThe Pyro had been expecting this and proceeded to burst into flames while heating up Hanix again. This time, it was anything BUT subtle, rather, it was like being thrown into a volcano. Hoping that the heat would melt the snow, he started trying to lower himself as much as he could and slither away.IC: LondarLondar stared at the relieved toa with a incredulous gaze. "You mean you didn't know how to use your mask or what it did?" he said with surpirse. "I've never fought a toa who was so surprised by the ability..." Then he saw The Pyro struggling to get off of the ground while Hanix had her foot on his back "Uh-oh," he said, starting to run over to aid his client, but then he stopped. "Never turn your back on an opponent whose bones aren't rotting in the sun for the vultures to pick," he thought as he turned back towards Zakama while slowly backing away.

  • IC: The Pyro"Yes, I do think you're warm enough," The Pyro said, as he started to absorb all of the heat and fire from the surrounding area, including Hanix's body, while preparing a fiery explosion that would ensure his escape.IC; Londar"Fire, Fire, FIRE!!!" Londar yelled. Then, all of the flames disappeared. He could feel a chill in the area and any fire left over from the fight was absorbed. Frost started forming on his armor, and he could barely move. Londar realized what was happening. "Ah, merde," he muttered to himself, facepalming.

  • IC: The Pyro"What move?" said the Pyro. "Why it's a NOVA BEAM!!!" as he blasted a beam of fire at Zakama. At point blank range, it would have been certain death for Zakama. But with Londar dragging him along the ground, the beam was all but accurate. It shot up into the sky and could be seen all across the island. Then it slammed into the ground, melting a lot of snow. But finally, it got back on target...IC: LondarLondar started dragging the beam shooting toa along the ground and started running. He didn't look back to see what catastrophe the pyro was causing now. With Po-Wahi in his sights, he started running to the northeast, hoping to be back in Po-Koro before the day was out.

  • IC: (Kino Iho)Perhaps it was luck, pure chance that Kino had managed to happen upon the Shrine. It was much closer to Ga-Wahi but then again it was usually smart not to build such a shrine in the middle of a Wahi, then it would have been too easy to find and would have been attacked more often. Kino heard voice, and the Toa of Air clad in white crept around, towards the voices. She hoped they were allies, not enemies or she would have to retreat and comeback with friends to clear it out."Hello?" Kino asked, her hand on her hip ready to grab the knife on the belt, that was pulled snugly around her cloak and clothing. Her face was hidden under the white face cover. Still not ready to reveal her identity. Especially if they were aligned to the ILS and had cleared out this Shrine.OOC: Kino Iho is now at the shrine.

Feongulf still wasn't entirely sure why'd she listened to this "Dreamer " person in the first place, the idea of revenge did appeal to her, but working for a obvious madman didn't.She shook her head. Now's not the time for second thoughts, I can have those once I reach somewhere relatively safe, though Feongulf, her gaze scanning for any sight of her destination. Although a shrine dedicated to Makuta himself really isn't my exacly idea of "safe", either. The creature latched to her spine hissed and a she suddenly knew the path she needed to find the shrine, even though she hadn't even know of it until yesterday. The Parakuka can communicate? Foengulf thought, filing away the information within her head. Explains what happened in Ta-Koro, and how I instinctively know it's called a Parakuku. Could come in handy, if it knows anything about the people I'm infiltrating. . .She began to jog determinedly down from atop the hill, if she hurried she would reach the Makuta-worshipper shrine by the early afternoon. Giving her legs some rest after traveling so long sounded good.

  • Ic: The sun was finally disappearing beneath the horizon and night was descending on Stannis and his companions. Their fire glowed brightly, throwing yellow and orange hues around at the gathered circle of explorers and scholars, and the flickering flames seemed to glow brighter as the sharp gusts that swept through the glacial valleys blew their frigid winds at the fire. The effect was curious, because with the colder winds came the hotter fire, and the cooler their backs the more searing their faces. As the darkness of night overwhelmed the area their surroundings disappeared into the shadows and it seemed as if the fire, the tent and the gathering of matoran were all that existed in the whole universe. Not even the stars shined down, obscured by clouds that swept in as the sun submerged, leaving the normally lit snowy landscape devoid of light and life. The matoran shivered slightly and contorted their bodies to share the warmth with their backs and faces in vain attempts at keeping all of their bodies warm. The only one who did not feel the effects of the weather was the leader, Stannis, who's natural ability rendered such an environment nearly moot to his body. But right then, Stannis was more than impervious; his body seemed to give a haunting glow as it seemingly echoed the sun's last tangerine testament to the earth, a faded and vanishing luminescence that served as both the harbinger of night and the promise of day."It is always colder before the dawn," Stannis said at last, breaking the silence that the hardy matoran had shared since their initial encampment. "Best we warm ourselves now and then warm our beds. Everything will be covered with frost by daybreak. But before we do, there are things we have to talk about, you all and I." Everybody was all-ears, seemingly forgetting the cold and the wind, maybe not eagerly but at least desperately wanting to hear what the Wanderer had to say. "Mata Nui works in strange ways sometimes," he started again. "Prophesies come and go and heroes descend, die and vanish only to be replaced with new ones. The Toa were examples of this, their destinies still unknown to all but Mata Nui and maybe themselves, if they still live. But the stars are in place yet again, and it is time for a new batch of heroes. It was my steadfast intent that we would be those heroes of the present time, and in many ways we were what I imagined us to be and more. Always remember that every one of you are heroes in my eyes as you should be to your own. But not all of us were chosen by Mata Nui to continue our fight."By daybreak, the Companions, as we have become called, will be no more. Our purpose has been fulfilled, and we have done more than any others like us. We have prepared the island and its people for the new heroes. When the sun rises in the east, we will all go our separate ways and go where our lives take us. But for three of us, our destinies are not as fluid as we would like. The new heroes have been called to serve, and this call cannot be ignored. For those not called, do not be envious: This is not an elevation, a promotion or a possession to be envied. Instead feel envied because you are free to carry the knowledge you have been given to the others in the island and are free to sojourn wherever you wish. Those called, follow me in the morning. Those not called, follow your hearts."I owe it to you all the secrets I have learned and was told not to impart in their entirety. It was not by my own volition, I swear it, but rather I was instructed to keep secrets. And while those tokens of knowledge are no less important now than before, I feel I should not hold on to these pieces any more. The powers of the Makuta are great and his eyes and ears are everywhere, but here, among us, we can speak in private. Thanks in part to the wisdom of the elders and my seeming conspiracy of privacy, we have escaped the prying of the Darkness. When I spoke to Whenua, he gave me a tablet which bore on it inscriptions written by Hafu in the language of the birds. It was inscribed with the second great prophesy, which indicated that new heroes will be brought about. Turaga Nuju deciphered the tablet as follows:(Insert prophesy here.)"That is the guide I must follow now. Nuju may have coined me The Wanderer, but my wanderings now have a path. You all know the five clues we have been given, so there is nothing more I can share about them. But if there is anything else I have withheld from you all, please ask me now and I will answer them. I want us to tart without misgivings." Stannis then waited.

  • IC:Tears were in Nichou's eyes as Stannis revealed the disintegration of Stannis's companions. For what seemed like an eternity, They had worked together as a team to unmask the mysteries of this island. But apparently, the great spirit this island was named after didn't see their team fit with it's current members. All the adventures that had come to pass in this group with his comrades, were never something he could have read in a novel or the mataa nui daily. After Tasting the sweet flavours of adventure, how could one go back to their old life? Nichou always believed that somehow, stannis would pave the road to freedom of Makuta, but apparently, Nichou and the other companions would not be there beside him to aid in his struggles. The tears continued. There had to be some loophole, right? Nichou's mind was thinking, in denial. On that thought, he blurted out, "But isn't there a way for us to further aid you in your quest somehow?"
