IC: Gravity"... Kirian," I said, "What the Karz was that?"I hadn't moved from her bed, not an inch. I was gonna sit there untill she recovered.
IC: Kirian, Ga-Koro"Something for the pain." Kirian said as he rubbed the semi-solid substance around the area of the wound. "I know it seems faulty, considering what she just did, but this," He said, holding up the vial, which still contained a tiny bit of the red liquid, "Is one of the most expensive and effective medicine's I've ever encountered. It's the next best thing to a mask of healing. Improves your body's healing rate, adjusts nerves to reduce pain..." He continued as he carefully viewed the wound, which was beginning to turn a purplish color.
IC: Ravage"I've heard of the stuff." Ravage didn't look over, just kept staring at the door."Laserbeak used to carry a small vial with her, in case a wound exceeded her abilities."
IC: Gravity"You know... I could have used that stuff... For my pain... And I wouldn't have to... You know," I said, observing Hajia's, now purple, wound.
IC: Kirian, Ga-Koro"I would have loved to use it, but this small vial cost me my entire savings." He said as he continued his work. "Actually, I believe I'm a few widgets in debt. While your wounds were terrible, Hajia is worse."
IC: Gravity"No argument there," I said, continuing to study the wound that was now colored more like my armor then anything else.
IC: Hajia & Kirian, Ga-KoroHajia moaned softly, and Kirian glanced at Gravity. "Comfort her." He said through gritted teeth, growing frustrated at the wound at which he was working.
IC: GravityRight."Hey Hajia, hows it going?" I said, leaning down to look her in the eyes, "You know what, stupid question. How are you feeling?"I slipped my hand into her's, squeezing a bit.
IC: Hajia, Ga-KoroHajia moaned softly, and then opened her eyes slightly. "It... Hurts..." She said between gasps. "I... c-can feel... it... working." She attempted to squeeze his hand, but her grip was so weak, it was barely noticable.
OOC: Almost done with the profile. I just wanted to make sure the plot didn't reach a point where I was unable to jump in. Basically, Shalia is a Toa of iron who can't use her powers well, and has an Iden. She's also emotionally distraught. IC - Shalia - Slave colonyShalia gasped as she was grabbed and thrown against a wall- all by the natural hands of plantlife. This was, no doubt, another reminder to the slaves that they were powerless against the slavers. Against any of them. Every last Toa was helpless. Every last Matoran.
OOC: Ah, KNI? If the slave is a girl, she wasn't in that room.
She was in the room adjacent.IC: DriniDrini sighed.
IC-Edubard:"Thrak, what's wrong with you?" Edubard complained. "I wanted to have fun, and you cut it after the first round. I'm ashamed of you, you normally give us a better time!"
IC: Flind"So...how'd you guys end up here?" I asked, trying to strike up a conversation to distract myself from my current misery. I found that quite hard considering that everywhere I looked, all I could see were slaves chained to a wall accompanied by a foul odour.
IC:BhutaA golden mask popped up in front of The Lorax's character whose name I might or might not have forgotten. Bhuta had spotted the being swimming along the coastline, and decided that this slave would be able to replace any slaves that Twenty Three drives insane. "Hello." He said cheerily. "You want a ride?"
IC: A large boat drew alongside Pukena, and she grabbed on to it for support, happy to have something to rest against and stop her from sinking. More than that, even, it looked like destiny was being kind to her, for a friendly-looking toa of lightning (whose name I may or may not be too lazy to scroll up and see) offered her ride back to shore. "Thankyou" she spluttered, shaking water out of her ears. "That would be great". She grabbed onto the side of the boat and lifted herself up onto the deck.
IC-Edubard:"Well Twenty-six," Edubard began, "It all started when Matau and Kongu sent me out on my mission..." Everybody else heaved a collective sigh of resignation, knowing they'd most likely have to hear the story again.
OOC: >.< My bad. Shall we say she was put there by mistake?IC - Shalia - Slave Colony"I worked at a bar. One day, a group of men came...here I am." she said, eyes on her feet, which were so beat-up she could hardly tell a scar from a cut vein.OOC: Continuing to depress everyone. ![]()
IC: DriniDrini sighed. "I was ambushed while scouting for my team. They took me off guard, and knocked me out. Then they figured out how to drug me."
IC: Flind"Well, I can't remember squat." I explained truthfully, irritated by that small fact. I don't have any bruises on my head so it's not any physical head damage...I think. Must've had me heavily drugged or something."By the way, if you're going to call me by my number, say it right. Twenty-Seven, you dolt."
IC-Edubard:"Of course, Twenty-six," Edubard said with a grin. "I'll call you whatever you want, don't you worry." He then jumped up, beginning to happily swing around again as he whistled.OOC: I swear, he's not saying Twenty-six on purpose....I am.
IC: VenatorThe fight wasn't going as well as he had planned. Neither was taking the upper hand, and both were getting their fair share of pain from the battle. It was repetitive, but it was a fight all the same. Blow after blow be blocked as best he could, heavy armor helping to weaken the blows, but not nearly as much as he wished it did. But Salamander was dishing the blows again and again, he would be getting tired now, hopefully. Then Salamander stopped, looking at his legs as if contemplating using them as a weapon. Venator really did not wish to start blocking kicks too, his arms were aching unpleasantly. Then, his foe began to look around... but at what, Venator did not know. Then The Toa of fire shot forward trying to deliver his kick. But Venator say it coming, sidestepping the blow and letting Salamander strike the ground with a sickening, yet pleasant thud.Again and again the flaming being flew towards his, and he dodged the blows. Something didn't add up right, this was getting too easy. Salamander was wasting far too much energy.
IC: Flind"Go die in a hole." I said to Edubard dryly. "You guys ever attempted to break out of this smoking heap of dung?"
IC: Drini"I'd love to, but they keep me drugged twenty-four-seven." Drini replied. "If I wasn't drugged, I could get out in a heart-beat. I mean really, a Toa of Water on the open sea?"
IC: Ozymandias (Slave Colony, Ga-Wahi)"At least you get drugged," said Ochocinco, leaning his head against the wall. "I have to sit here and suffer through this every day."-Teezy
IC: FlindWell that just killed my hopes...somewhat. Escape really seemed hopeless when you're chained to a wall without your equipment and those with special powers are drugged all day, every day."What, do they inject you with the stuff or do they put it in your food?"
IC: Drini"Believe me, these aren't fun. I would be so much happier if they at least made me absurdly cheerful. Instead, they just cloud my thinking."Drini blinked. "It depends. Sometimes they put it in my water, sometimes my food. And if I haven't eaten or drunken, they force-feed me the substance straight."
IC: FlindNow I'm morally depressed and karz out of luck. Even though I was chained, I always sat straight with a hint of pride in my posture but now, that completely disappeared as I slumped and pouted."Life stinks." I muttered aloud, always the pessimist.
IC: Ozymandias (Slave Ship, Ga-Wahi)"Tell me about it," he muttered, trying to wave in greeting. "I'm Ozymandias. I prefer Oz or Ochocinco."-Teezy
IC: Drini"So, Ozzy. What's your number?"
IC: Oz (Slave Ship, Ga-Wahi)"Uhm...85," he said quizzically. "Ochocinco. And it's just Oz."-Teezy
IC-Edubard:"Hola amigo!" Edubard said happily, his accent relatively convincing for the dialect of the Matoran Language they were speaking. "I haven't seen you in a while, maaan...get away from your new owners again?"
IC: Oz (Slave Ship, Ga-Wahi)"Do I know you?" Oz asked flatly; the Toa of Magnetism's face was blank, devoid of expression, as he looked at the clearly insane man engaging him in conversation.-Teezy
IC-Edubard:"Why, I've been here for the past few years, ever since I started up this trade!" Edubard said proudly. "I must say, this is the perfect cover for my mission...I'm so glad I thought of it!"
IC: FlindHoooold up. Whacky Edubard's been on this piece of klunk for years? Impossible. There was no way the owner of this slavery business could keep the guy around for so long without going insane. Why do the facts keep going from bad to worse?"Oz, my name's Flind and I'm number Twenty-Seven. Don't talk to this guy, he's a truckload of sanity deterrent." I gave my advice to number eighty-five, refering to Edubard.
IC: Oz (Slave Ship, Ga-Wahi)"Just one truckload?" Oz asked quietly, eyeing Edubard out of the corner of his eye.-Teezy
IC-Edubard:"Make that thirty-seven point five, my friend," Edubard said, ignoring the prisoner who had carved a coconut into a mask as he gasped in surprise at his number being said.
IC: Flind"So Oz, how'd you end up here?" I asked calmly, ignoring Edubard.
IC:BhutaThe Toa lowered an arm, in an fake attempt to help Pukena get aboard. When Pukena grabbed onto the arm, Bhuta quickly sent electricity coursing through the thing's arm, which was then amplified by her already soaking body, hopefully shocking her into unconsciousness. As he did so, he activated his Calix, and preformed a back-flip flipping Pukena back onto the ship, out of the water.
IC: Oz (Slave Colony, Ga-Wahi)"Honestly? I got jumped on my way to the Kohlii supply store by a couple of thugs," said Oz with a shrug. "They put enough tranquilizer in me to render a gorilla comatose, and when I came to, I was in the middle of being haggled on by a couple of slavers. Now here I am."-Teezy
IC: Flind"They jumped you on your way to a Kolhii supply store, eh..." I repeated, visualizing the scenario inside my head."Anyone here know whether we actually get sold or something? Or is this just some cruel torture chamber floating on water?"
