IC: Revenge-Forest

Revenge ran a little ahead of the other two to find a small clearing to make the Kaita in.  He found one and waived the others over.

IC: Melody-Hallways

"B-b-but I v-v-volunteered t-t-to help h-h-him, r-r-remember?"

IC: Exxan - Refectory.

"Oh yeah," in all the discussion of escape, I'd forgotten about the weapons. I'd need to be able to defend myself if our plan got found out, or someone tried to stop us from leaving, "thanks."

IC: Era - Hallway.

"Well, there's Kat, too." I reminded Hoto. "Say.... what's going on with you and Jayar?" 

IC Kat:

"I think I can help with that," I said with a smirk.

IC: Raptor

Raptor helped Rider into the clearing, finding a large rock to let him rest on. He grinned.

"We're gonna have some serious fun today, boys."

OOC: Last Raptor post today. I'll still be in the Student Register, and I may be doing a Mantis post or two later on.

IC: Fang - Refectory

Fang looked to Kat curiously. "What?"

IC: Hoto - Empty Dorm Wing

She grew a little shy at the mention of Jayar. She hadn't seen any thoughts about a... connection like that in Era's mind. "Well... he's... nice, and... we... like each other, I guess."

Well, more than that, now.

IC: Root - Hallways

Root turned back his head with a groan. 'Twas not going to be so easy this time. "Such a f-f-fair maid-den as y-you c-c-could not v-volunteer to h-help one such as T-T-Torch."

IC Kat:

I grinned.

"Well, when I got Dodge a new leg, there was some metal left over. It's in Hoto's room, if I recall. We can use that for Exxan's new..... whatever."

IC: Exxan - Refectory.

"I'm thinking a sword." I spoke up. "Much more effective than my old staff."

IC: Era - Hallway.

"I thought as much." I said with a smile, "I.... we.... were picking up some weird emotions while Dekako was looking at him." 

IC: Jayar / Refectory

Exxan's old staff had been plenty effective in killing Omega... that was ancient history, though. No need to reopen wounds only just barely healed. Jayar remained silent as he closed his mouth around another spoonful of slop.

"Where will you get this weapon made? Phantom's rather hostile right now." he pointed out once he had swallowed.

IC: Fang - Refectory

"Oh, really?" he said to Kat. Somehow, the thought of where to obtain metal hadn't occurred to him yet. "We'll have to find her and pick that up."

"Exxan thought we could use the Gym to put together a simple forge," he explained to Jayar. "It could work, in theory, but we're waiting for it to clear out first."

Finally, he turned to Exxan. "A sword then? Like... Venom?" He couldn't help making the connection, though he realized it may be the first time he had said the name out loud. "...like my sword, I mean."

IC: Hoto - Empty Dorm Wing

"Yeah... I guess we were," Hoto replied evasively.

IC:Melody-Hallway

"B-b-but it w-was the only w-way to k-keep the others f-from h-hurting h-him." Melody was clearly quite uncomfortable.

IC: Era - Hallway.

"Well, I hope you two get along," I said to Hoto, "you deserve to be happy."

IC: Exxan - Refectory. 

"Maybe not quite like that. I was think something a little more refined."

IC: Root - Hallways

"H-h-he's not w-w-worth one such as y-y-you," Root replied gently.

IC: Hoto - Empty Dorm Wing

She didn't know how to respond to that. "Yeah, me too," she answered at last.

IC: Fang - Refectory

Fang looked down at Venom with a scowl, only to realize it was still in his room. More refined...?

"I'll... see what I can do."

IC Kat:

"What did you have in mind, Exxan?"

IC: Zelnos | Empty Dorm Wing

Zelnos nodded when appropriate but didn't ask questions. It's none of my business anyway.

"Actually, I don't know where it is. Where should we start asking?"

IC: Flash | Hallway

Flash had spotted Melody when she had left the Gym and approached.

"Hello Melody, who are your friends?"

IC: Exxan - Refectory. 

"There was a design I came across in the library one time. I can show you guys later if you wanted to have a look."

IC: Era - Hallway.

"I guess we'll just have to find someone and ask them," I said to Zelnos. 

IC: Melody-Hallway

"H-h-hi Flash." Melody turned back to Root.  "I-i-if I don't h-h-help h-h-him, n-n-next t-t-time he m-m-makes a m-m-mistake there will b-be no one t-to protect h-him."

IC Mahrika

Refectory

Mahrika couldn't help turning his head back and forth, looking between Exxan and Fang. Exxan... the villain, the murderer, the heartless. Fang, the revolutionary, the vigilante, the hot-headed. That was what everyone called them. But if he hadn't known them in advance, Mahrika couldn't have differentiated them here. They both looked the same: tired, hurt, and worn-out.

He nodded at their comments, rather than speaking. It was time, Mahrika decided, that he forget his disagreements with both of them.

OOC: I've been waiting a long time for this moment...

IC: Fang - Refectory

"I'm going to need to see your design before we craft it," Fang pointed out. "We can visit the Library while we wait for the... trial to end."

IC: Hoto - Hallways

Hoto stepped out of the wing and into the wide expanse of the main hallways. She didn't detect any Rahkshi nearby. "Where to start..." she murmured, mostly to herself.

IC: Root - Hallways

"H-h-he d-doesn't need p-p-protection!" Root boldly stated. Torch had twisted her mind far worse than he had ever seen. She thought the villain was worthy of her care! And none of Root's words were having any effect! Torch did not deserve as gentle a lady as this!

IC: Era - Hallway.

"I don't hear anyone," I said apologetically. My hearing was better than ever before, but it seemed there was no one nearby for me to hear.

IC: Exxan - Refectory. 

"Alright," I got to my feet and started heading towards the exit. 

IC: Fang - Refectory

Fang dumped his nearly untouched slop and followed Exxan out. He may never get used to this, walking beside Exxan like good friends. He did have to admit, it was better than fighting.

IC: Hoto - Hallways

"Come on," Hoto called as she waved them down the hall. "That punishment can't have kept everyone!"

She started running off, trying and failing to stay at a moderate pace. Her body still buzzed with energy even after the Kaita and the punishment. She felt more alert, with the speed and reflexes to dodge anything thrown at her, even if she was only level three.

IC: Era - Hallway.

"Are you going to run on ahead every time?" I smirked, running to keep up with her. "We don't want to leave Zelnos behind."

IC: Exxan - Hallway. 

"So.... ah.... how have you been?" I asked awkwardly. Small talk is hard....

IC Mahrika

Corridors

Following Exxan and Fang out of the Refectory, Mahrika's head popped up at the former's question.

"Oh! I wanted to mention, I've been working on something I think you'll both approve of. Look!" He pointed to the flyer hanging by the refectory door.

OOC: If the comment wasn't directed at Mahrika, he simply misinterpreted.

IC: Exxan - Hallway.

"Interesting..." I mused, flashing Mahrika a half-smile. I still wasn't sure if he hated me or not. 

IC: Zelnos | Empty Dorm Wing

Zelnos had to bolt at the start and only slowed a bit when he was pace with Era and Hoto.

"Haha, very funny."

IC: Flash | Hallway

"Torch he was the one who set a fire in the library, right? Are you rahi-sitting him or something?"

IC: Pyre was hurled backwards. He crashed against one of the walls of the Gym with a jarring impact.

"I warned you once already," Tridax said, "Interfere again I shall revisit the claims that you participated in the murders. Now, it seems fair that our convicted murderer should have the items of his crime removed. Student, you are free to take the weapons you have claimed." He nodded at Rail, giving him permission to walk away with the sword and net-gun he had taken, along with all the body-parts he could carry

IC: Illusive - Causeway. 

I wasn't sure if anyone was going to bother coming to the Causeway now, after everything that had happened, but if anyone did, I wanted them to know I meant business. I returned to my dorm and wrote one final note, before making my way to the Causeway - two hours til sunset, no one here yet - and pinning the note at eye level on one of the pillars, in clear view of anyone coming out of the school. 

Headmaster Tridax - Judge, Jury, Executioner.

What kind of justice system answers death with more death? 

Zex may have murdered two students, but it was us who murdered Zex.

And Tridax didn't just let us do - he told us to.

At our headmaster's whim we tortured and mutilated a fellow student, leaving them a cripple for life.

How much longer must we tolerate this kind of heartless tyranny?

It's time to fight back.

Satisfied that my work was complete for now, I headed back inside. 

IC: Jayar / Refectory-->Hallway

Jayar stood and followed the others to the door.

"If you should need my assistance with anything, I will be willing to help. But I know little of metalworking, so for the moment I will part ways with you here," he said to Fang and Exxan.

IC Kat: I ran after the others, my mind racing.

Who was leaving the notes? 

IC: Melody-Hallway

"I-I-I'm t-t-trying t-t-to h-help h-him l-l-learn n-n-not to d-d-do things l-like th-that,"  Melody said to Flash.

IC: Shield

"But he is a villain! He needs to be locked up!" The small Rahkshi protested, trying to jump up to Melody's height.

IC: Melody-Hallway

"N-n-no, h-h-he j-just n-needs to l-learn."

IC: Revenge-Forest

"Ok, said Revenge, lets get this over with."

OOC: Ready for kaita when you are.

IC: Rider

Rider breathed in and took his friends hands. "Let's do this."

OOC: Gukko, pls make the transfurmaten pust.

IC: Shield

"Shouldn't he be at least restrained?" Shield asked. In all the books he had read, the villain ended up in bars, or at least restrained.

IC: Melody-Hallway

"W-w-well there w-were a f-few others th-that w-were assigned to w-watch him f-f-from a d-distance, k-kind of l-l-like guards."

IC: Pyre

Ouch.

I shake my head while I walk up to the stage.

I grab Zex.

Then I had a great idea. I carry Zex to his dorm and put him In a bed. Then I go to the infirmary.

"Palma? What was the cause of this rahkhshi's death?" I ask while pointing at the rahkshi with the crushed head?

IC: Pyre

Ouch.

I get off the wall.

I shake my head while I walk up to the stage.

I grab Zex.

Then I had a great idea. I carry Zex to his dorm and put him In a bed. Then I go to the infirmary.

"Palma? What was the cause of this rahkhshi's death?" I ask while pointing at the rahkshi with the crushed head?

I looked at the rahkshi looking for proof that the silence rahkshi caused the death

IC: Raptor

Raptor grinned and grabbed his friends' hands. He emptied his mind of all his other worries, clearing it and preparing for the immense surge of power to come.

He held on and shut his eyes.

*insert epic sound effect here*

IC: Riptide

Riptide opened his eyes, examining his green and black body armor.

OOC: Is that good enough?

IC: Riptide (Rider)

Inside Riptide, Rider's eyes flashed open. He could see! Riptide gave a mighty roar and gave a test swing of his sword. It was light, and his crossbow was even lighter. This..is strange. Rider thought to the other two.

IC: Riptide(Revenge)-Forest

This, this is Incredible!  Revenge thought.  Riptide gave out another roar.

IC: Riptide (Raptor)

I wonder what this thing's top speed is! Raptor willed the large body into a dash out of the forest.
