IC: KrianKrian stared at Onuzek. "Karzahni. You too?"
IC: GravityThe question didn't need answering. So I didn't answer it. I continued on as if the Toa of Ice weren't there, picking up the massive boulder in one hand and slamming it onto the ground. I didn't need a Pakari when I had my elemental power.Another punch, and the rock gave way again to the gravitic power I was sending through my fist; cracking cleanly in two. I turned, and faced Kirian, as the two halves of the rock fell to the ground behind me."Why?" I asked simply. Why couldn't I stop them. Why did they come. Why?
IC: Kirian, Ga-Koro"Why? Why does anybody anything?" The Toa of Ice replied, his eyes cruel and observing. "Purpose. In the same way I have made it my purpose to protect others, they have made it their purpose to destroy."
IC: GravityI wasn't looking at Kirian, but staring at a point past him. It wouldn't be that hard to figure out what I made my purpose."I'm going to get her back," I stated, and meaning every word of it.
OOC: Action Drama never gets old.IC(Tajeh): Tajeh ran, pushed and walked his way through the Koro. "Gahuari! Gahuari!" he still shouted. Either she was in the Koro or down at the beach.
IC:A shadowy being walked along the beaches of Ga-Wahi, somehow managing to keep himself unnoticed by most beings. His armoured robes clinked as he walked along, though he payed no heed to the sound. He had a basket-hilted broadsword hanging at his side, though where it was clasped to his robes, a belt, or an unseen baldric was uncertain, and an oddly shaped mask, hidden by the hood of his robe. The robe's hood could be seen moving about, slightly, as the Toa searched for what he wanted. And he found it. Underneath a large tree, with broad, green leaves and dainty white flowers, was a small grave, two simple inscriptions upon the headstone. Two large swords were crossed above the grave, planted into the tree, nearly overgrown with ivory. A quick blast from the Toa's element and the swords fell to the ground. He then held a hand above the grave, tapping into his mask."Rise," he commanded. The earth and sand shifted, as though a body were writhing beneath it. The Toa kept his focus upon his mask, maintaining and winning the battle of wills. A second blast from his element and the earth was destroyed, the sand having melted into easily broken glass. A rusted and decayed body came up, though its burnished golden armour still shone brightly."Hey, it looks like I've got a visitor," the body said. It raised a hand against the Toa who had raised it-he wasn't happy at being awoken. "An unwanted visitor, sure, but that's easily taken care of." A small amount of heat and flame began to gather in the hand."Stop," the other Toa commanded. The recently-exhumed Toa of Fire attempted to resist, but the flame soon disappeared, with the arm stiffly dropping to the body's side. The Toa with the Tryna looked over the body, not listening to the arguments of the Toa of Fire. However, he soon got annoyed with that, as well."Leave," he commanded. The voice stopped, the eyes dimming slightly. The spirit had left, finally. The Toa then turned, raising a hand and beckoning the body to come with him.
IC: Kirian, Ga-Koro"Indeed. It won't be simple," Kirian said, picking his teeth as he spoke. "But it should be possible."OOC: Hey, I started a couple new characters in Techna, and I was wondering if you had any open for Interaction? I'm almost at the point of begging. ![]()
IC-Vitiate:Vitiate walked up to the small group by Riaril's tombstone, his face expressionless. However, he did look over to one of the beings, a Toa of Air."Is it true that Commander Tillian is getting married, lieutenant Skyra?" He asked politely. He'd left the corpse back where they wouldn't find it.
OOC: Depends on the sanity level of the character you want to interact with.
IC: Gravity"We need a plan," I said simply. I continued to stare ahead of my, not blinking as I thought the entire thing over.
OOC: Any level's fine. As long as they can talk, and not just convulse in a straight-jacket. IC: Kirian, Ga-Koro"I have a plan." Kirain said, sounding bored. "However, it depends on one thing: How committed are you to getting Hajia back."
OOC: Hurr... Well, that's a problem. :PJ/KIC: GravityMy eyes finally focused on Kirian, and fram that look alone, the Toa of Ice would know that I would do just about anything to get her back. Anything."What's the plan?"
IC: Kirian, Ga-Koro"Contacts in Onu-Koro have informed me of Onyx's and his henchmen's activites. Halion, the air Toa who assualted you, supposedly has a female Toa... entertain him every night. In theory, a shapeshift could take the form of his intended enteratiner, and thus make it inside the catacombs. When alone, he or she could disable Halion. Killing wouldn't be possible, seeing as the multiple other henchmen make rotuine elemental probes. A sonic user, whom I happen to know works there, could notice the lack of noise in there. Or any such Toa could find something to investigate."He finished. The plan had an almost off-putting lack of him doing anything.
IC Jokar - Ga-Koro - Talking:Jokar shook the hand of the Inspector, "Jokar... I don't think I've heard of the Sanctum Guard before, who are they?" he asked, knowing that he was probably one of the few people who didn't know who they were. -JokarIC: Alexin"It was. The fool should've tracked my electrical signature." Alecin took a puff, and held out his hand. "Inspector Alexin of the Sanctum Guard."
IC: Alexin"The military arm of Ko-Koro. Comparable to the Ta- or Po-Koro Guard. Except we don't usually go sticking our noses where they don't belong." Alexin smiled slightly."As an inspector, I belong to the more investigative arm. I'm not so much military as the police force."
OOC: Yeah... Read this imagining Gravity had that look on his face.
IC: Gravity"Wait a sec," I said, "You want me to... And then...?"Despite how... weird this was gonna be, I had yet to see the Toa of Ice tell a joke, so... "Fine."
IC: Kulamus woke up from unconciousness. "You have no right to arrest me." He said as he struggled in the handcuffs.
IC: Alexin"I have every right." Alexin retorted. "Shall I list the charges?"
IC: "I've done nothing wrong!" He yelled insanely. He lunged at Alexin, but was held back.
IC: Kulamus's chain had been cut by the disk. He jumped off the lily pad and began to swim away.
IC: Kirian, Ga-Koro"It will won't be enjoyable." Kirian continued. "But I have faith you can pull that part off. I shall tell you the rest of the plan later." He still had yet to mention him doing anything. OOC: Hey, have you seen the Hound & Co Origin stories I've been publishing in Short Stories?
IC: AlexinBut Alexin heard him coming, and sidestepped the kick. Before any disks could be thrown, he jumped into the water and shapeshifted into a Takea shark. With his superior speed, he caught up to Kulamus in seconds, tossing him back onto the lily pad.Alexin jumped, and shifted back to his normal form as he landed on the mat. There were now twenty copies of him, in constant motion. Which was real?
IC-Raxa:Raxa could here Kirian and Gravity talking, somewhat, coming up with a plan. He knew Hound would also have to hear them. Raxa wouldn't be surprised if Hound could tell what he was writing just from the scratches of the quill, actually."While they're working on a plan," he said, catching Hound's attention, "I think we ought to work on one too. I've got the bad feeling that we're going to meet up with Onyx no matter what happens."
OOC: Ah, the wonder of the parakua...IC: Banless was confused, but not deterred. The parakua was sending mental images to him again, and these he could understand. It had seen the real one and followed it, even though he had not. He aimed for three, and threw his disks, knowing with certainty which one was the real one. He unsheathed his staff, and prepared for an attack.-Bane
IC: AlexinAlexin was surprised he had followed his movements, but not unduly so. He drew his wakizashi and blocked in the same movement. So did his clones, though the disks went straight through those. With a grin, every clone backflipped into the water. Using his powers over sound and illusion, all of them made a splash.A moment later, every single one climbed out, all of them making the correct effect on the water. There was no way to determine which was which.A sound emanated from all around Baneless. It was high enough in pitch, that if it wasn't stopped, he would go unconscious in approximately two minutes. The sound also affected Kulamus.
IC: Due to the influence of the parakua, Baneless did not get knocked unconcious. He did, however, hurt. He charged into the fray, swinging his staff wildly. He spun around and around, using the momentum of the staff and his own strength to flip and backflip, swinging through the clones. Soon, he would hit the real toa.-Bane
OOC: Note, I specified within two minutes. Not immediately.IC: AlexinBut the problem with that, is that they all move. No matter where Baneless swung, he always met thin air.The clones all frowned. He's resistant. With a thought, the sound got even louder, and even higher. At this point, it was enough to take out a raging Kane-Ra bull. He would almost certainly go down within two minutes.
OOC: Time for some parakua-enhanced strengthIC: Baneless got sick and tired of this. He slammed his fist into the dock, creating (almost) a mini-earthquake. The shaking was sure to knock the toa off balance, hopefully ruining his illusions and sound attack. He also had the side effect of punching a hole in the lily pad. The isolated pad began to sink, with everyone on it.-Bane
OOC: Troll!Alexin: LOLnope. :PIC: AlexinDue to the nature of such a punch, Baneless had to draw back his fist. And Alexin wasn't an Inspector for nothing. In a matter of moments, he deduced the nature of this move in time to jump up, along with the rest of his clones. When the landed, Alexin made sure they produced the correct effect. The lilypad was rapidly sinking. As of that moment, the water was already up to their waist, and rising quickly. With a thought, ALexin and every one of his clones turned into Takea Sharks. They circled the pad, waiting for their enemies to be forced into the water. It wouldn't be long now. Especially since Alexin used a combination of his element and ramming to eliminate the only bridge connected to the lilypad.
OOC: What do mean by, troll?IC: Baneless was not afraid. Most of the takea sharks were illusionary, and only one was real. With Parakua enhanced strength, he swam at amazing speed towards the shore. If the toa wanted to get him, he would have to get him himself.-Bane
IC: AlexinBut the sound didn't stop. At this point, Baneless had only about three-quarters to a full minute left. And even with a Parakuka, a Takea Shark is much faster. Within twenty seconds, Alexin had caught up, and sunk his teeth into Baneless' ankle.
IC: Hound, Ga-Koro"Onyx's catacombs are almost impossible to navigate. We'll be hunted and killed inside those. We need to be in a large, open area to have any chance of success." Hound said slowly, still thinking as he spoke. "But how would we lure Onyx out of his den? He has no care of other's lives, so hostages would be worthless... None of his possessions mean anything to him."
IC: Baneless swung his leg up, and slammed his fist towards the takea shark's nose. The sound no longer affected him, as it was coming from underneath the water. He unsheathed his spear into the takea shark. He could surely get free.-Bane
OOC: Actually, sound still travels underwater. It's just a little harder to maintain. How do you think sonar works?IC: AlexinAlexin released his leg as soon as it was swung, but there was blood in the water. Dozens of sharks began to move toward the source.... Baneless.
OOC:Man, you really hate me, don't you? Attacking me on both fronts.
Sound does work underwater, but it doesn't transfer well from water to air.IC: Baneless began swimming, and reached a nearby lily pad. He climbed up on top of it, and prepared for an attack.-Bane
OOC: Alexin is a clever cookie. What can I say? :PIC: AlexinBut that wouldn't last long. Alexin sank his teeth into the lilypad, shredding the bottom. By now, three other sharks had arrived, doing the same. The pad began to sink, with no bridge to escape from. Alexin saw to that.
IC: Unfortunately for Alexis, Baneless was a good jumper. He landed in the town square, and ran to the coast. "Come and get me!" he yelled.-Bane
IC: AlexinWhere a squad of Ga-Koro Marines were waiting for him. Three Toa, and eight Matoran. One of the Toa, a Ga-Toa stepped forward. "Sir, surrender immediately. Otherwise we are authorized to use lethal force."The other Toa, one of Gravity, the other of Plasma, grinned.Alexin ran into place behind him, as the other Guards fanned out, and encircled Baneless.
OOC: You know this guy has a full list of contacts? You're so dead.IC: "The order of Shade is coming, and there's nothing you can do to stop it." Baneless said quietly. "I will allow you to capture me, but you will die for this." He raised his hands, showing that they were empty. He then put his hands behind his head.-Bane
IC-Raxa:"And so we come to another conundrum," the Toa of Crystal said. "He has a personal vendetta against you, doesn't he?" Raxa thought for a moment, and shook his head."It seems that the only sure-fire way to lure him out would be to use one of us as bait," he said. "Namely...you."
