IC-Mussiki:"Odd, to say the least," Mussiki said, ignoring Sulov's jest. "And so that Ta-Matoran thinks you're a part of it, eh?" Mussiki closed his eyes, thinking for a moment."Look back on what you've done recently. Is there anything, anything at all, that might possibly have led that Ta-Matoran to think what he did?"
IC: "No," Sulov said with a shrug. "I didn't get some booming voice frrom the heavens declarring love forr me orr anything; no toa stone."
IC-Mussiki:"You know, if I knew for sure that my skull was thicker, I'd headbutt you for that first comment, rahi-bones," Mussiki said, and he laughed slightly."Ah, well. Well, where are you headed off to, mate? Just Le-Koro itself?"
IC: Skrihen"Happy to oblige." Skrihen winced slightly, as she readjusted her posture. The docs had fixed up her rib, but Skrihen was still sore.
IC: Sulov chuckled a little as well. Then he smiled."No. I'm going to live herre and hunt," The matoran explained. "I cannot fight in anotherr forrce now that I have been discharrged."
IC: Reordin (Pala-Koro)"Let me get you to the Sanctum Guard hut," said Reordin, pulling away from her. "We have medical supplies in there; that rib is only going to heal by itself, but in the meantime, I can give you something for the pain."-Teezy
IC: Skrihen"My sense of duty says no, but the rest if my body is overriding that." Skrihen smiled slightly. "A tip? Nearly getting crushed by a shadow bubble hurts."
IC: Reordin (Pala-Koro)"Eh. These guys are doing nothing but arguing and dealing in hypotheticals anyway," he said, straightening her jacket a bit. "C'mon. We can consult with my old friend Dr. Salamander's and take it easy for a while."-Teezy
OOC: You're welcome, Krayzikk.IC-Mussiki:"Uh-huh. So, you're going to build your own little hut right here, in the mittle of the road?" Mussiki asked, purposefully being too literal. "If it helps, you're always welcome to stay at my home, assuming it is still accessible."
OOC: Thanks, Grochi.IC: Skrihen"I like that plan. A lot." Skrihen said, as she put an arm around Reordin's shoulders. "Been too long since I had a good drink."
IC:"Yes, yes I might" Skaarn said slowly. He smiled. "I might know a great deal about the Parakuka. How they were created, what dangers they pose and, most importantly, how to remove them safely." Then Skaarn motioned to his cage. "But you know, I might be disinclined to talk about these things considering my current...accomdoations. If you get my drift."
IC: Sulov shook his head to both suggestions. He replaced the smiling mask with his stoic one."No. I will not be accepted nearr civilization," Koskium extrapolated. "I'll live furrtherr out."OOC: He's gonna essentially be Hunter of Gone combined with Clare of Claymore. Excepting weapon and power differences.
IC: Madrihk"You are in no real position to bargain," Madrihk remarked. "It's very simple. If you don't tell us anything, you stay in the cage until you do. If you try to cause trouble, we vastly outnumber you. If you tell us what we want to know, however, then I'd be more inclined to let you go seeing as you'd be helping us restore our Turaga."
IC-Mussiki:"Just goes to show you don't remember at all where my home is. Then again, it is rather hard to find."
IC: Reordin (Pala-Koro)"I can guarantee it's been even longer since you had a great one," he said, throwing his own arm around Skrihen's shoulders and leading her back to the Hut. "Truth be told, uh...we Guardsmen often held out on the rest of civilization when it came to alcohol."-Teezy
IC: Plagia - Pala-KoroPlagia sat in silence as the Matoran recounted her story. Somehow, it was so strikingly similar to hers. But then, a lot of these stories are."This Trakuda certainly sounds like a brave guy. A warrior, if there ever was one."A small, sad smile passed over he face, "Maybe the world is a little emptier without him. But because of him, it's also a little brighter. He died so that we could live, so that we could live free of Makuta."-Void
IC: Gyren carefully drudged through the swamp right under Le-Koro. The young Toa meticulously checked the bark of each tree he passed by while glancing back to see if Tawara was alright. He dropped his usual smile as he felt a sharp pain in his neck. Gyren instinctively swatted at his neck and a small insect flew away. Its wings crackled with energy and glowed faintly in the dark swamp. The young Toa stared at the small Rahi as it flew away, engulfed by the darkness under Le-Koro."Funny how something so small can cause so much pain." the young scholar said as he passed by another tree.
IC: "Wait, so what happened to the Turaga is (random arguing)? I don't think that sounds right..." Dervian laughed. "No, really. Someone just karzing tell me what is going on here."
IC: [Ril]"Just so you know," said Ril from behind Skrihen and Reordrin. "Try not to be so loud.OOC: Uyism for Onu-Wahi.IC: [uyism]Uyism trotted up behind Mussiki.
IC: SkrihenWithout looking back, Skrihen gave Ril the finger. She laughed.
IC: Reordin (Pala-Koro)"I don't trust 'im," said Reordin as the two entered the hut; the Ko-Matoran promptly shuttered all the windows and slid his nightstand in front of the door. "Lay down on the bed, I'll get the Salamander's and the first aid supplies. I should probably change, too..."It had occurred to Saporta that he was still wearing his bloodstained shirt from the night before underneath this jacket, and that perhaps it was ruining the fabric of his top layer of clothing. He removed the jacket and then the shirt: as he did so, his back to Skrihen, the Toa of Plantlife could clearly see that his sides, back, and arms bore distinctly faded slashes and burn marks that were characteristic of rigorous torture.-Teezy
IC: Sulov smiled again. "Ah, if you call knowledge neverr zherre in the firrst place forrgotten."
IC: SkrihenSkrihen sat on the edge of the bed, watching Reordin. When he revealed his back, she inhaled sharply. "There is no tactful way to put this, but who did that?"
IC-Mussiki:Mussiki's eyes narrowed. "What?...But, I would have sworn..." He shook his head, waving it off. "No matter. Needless to say, my home is one of the most isolated on the island. It's hidden in its own little cave. It's so hidden from Onu-Koro that none of the Ussalry men have found it yet."
IC: Reordin (Pala-Koro)"Hm? Oh, uh...yeah. A couple Skakdi who were running a foreign weapons smuggling business throughout Ko-Wahi. I went in, stopped the weapons flow, got careless, got caught. The Guard negotiated my release after a couple months, though. No biggie. You want a shot glass or a regular glass?"-Teezy
IC: Dervian help up a giant, noisy, spinning wind shuriken. "I feel as if forces beyond Primus himself are ignoring me." The shuriken made an annoying shriek and blew light objects all around the place as it spun. "What. Happened. To. The. Turaga?"
OOC: Sorry Kal, but Sulov isn't THAT great friends with Mussiki. Though I don't doubt that Gavarm is.IC: "I see," Sulov said. "But if it's that harrd to find, I think I'll just stay out here. It's closerr to a korro I'm not banished from."
OOC: Mussiki is the sort of person who would find a way to mix them up, anyways. He's supposed to be like that.
IC-Mussiki:"It's actually closer to Le-Koro than Onu-Koro," Mussiki said. "That's how far out the cave is."
IC: SkrihenSkrihen stood, and walked over to Reordin. Lightly, she traced one of the scars with a finger. "No biggie? You've got more scars here than I have on my whole body."
IC: Reordin (Pala-Koro)"Don't worry, they kept plenty of peroxide on hand," he said idly, plucking a bottle of Salamander's from his bag and dusting it off. "The wounds never stayed unclean for long. And they fed me plenty of blood to keep my counts even."-Teezy
IC: Sulov shrugged. "I suppose I'll stay, then. Lead the way."
IC: Skrihen"Somehow, that is both thoughtful and twisted at the same time."
IC-Mussiki:"Follow me back in the tunnel, and be ready for a long, long walk with little light along the way," Mussiki said, leading Sulov and Uyism back to the opening of the highway. He quickly stepped in, taking a left and disappearing from view.OOC: Mussiki to Onu-Wahi.
IC: "You know what?! Judging by the silence, they've been infected by Parakuka, parasites that mutate them, placed by Makuta's minions, and they attacked you earlier, but you won, and you're trying to figure out how to solve that problem." Dervian walked off.OOC: Dervian to Ko-Wahi.
IC: Reordin (Pala-Koro)"Funny how those things work."Reordin finished plucking glasses out from the bag and set them on one of the tables before turning to Skrihen: their faces were within inches of each other, and she could almost feel Reordin's relaxed grin shining off of him. This was the Saporta that didn't show his face on jobs, the Saporta that liked to play Kolhii and write music on his off days, the Saporta that didn't just get through watching everyone he worked with get butchered before his eyes...He lifted the bottle of Salamander's and popped it open with a dagger: alcohol poured out over his hand and dripped on the floor."To the best bloody human flyswatters the island of Mata Nui has ever seen," he said, pouring a glass for Skrihen and a glass for himself. "Ever linked arms and sipped a drink?"-Teezy
IC: Sulov followed Mussiki without a word. In no time he was trudging back into the tunnel system.OOC: Sulov Koskium to Onu-Wahi.
IC: Skrihen"Nope. Most of the time when I've got a drink, it's in the corner of some dusty bar." Skrihen grinned, her eyes brightening with Reordin's new found cheer.
IC: Reordin (Pala-Koro)"Well, that has to change, doesn't it?" he asked, linking her arm and readying his glass. "This was a trick they used to teach the new guys at the Sanctum Guard HQ: it's supposed to be a future tidings congratulatory thing you do after you finish a big job. Normally, Bane would be here doing this, but...anyway, the point is, I really want you to be the person I link arms with."-Teezy
IC: Skrihen"Aww, I'm touched." Skrihen said, not a trace of sarcasm in her voice. "Gladly."
IC: Reordin (Pala-Koro)"Cool," he said, linking her arm. "On three. One...two...three."The two knocked back the alcohol and Reordin sighed exhaustedly, lighting a cigarette and sitting down on his bed as he slid on a black t-shirt."This place could use a bar. Maybe I could work on converting this hut now that I don't have to go back to Ko-Koro..."-Teezy
