OOC: Definitely not based on anything that happened to me irl...
IC: KeuirceAfter the kiss, Keuirce was visibly shaking. When he noticed that he was getting strange looks, he muttered something that sounded vaguely like, 'It's cold', and took hold of Tirra's hand. "You know, we could get you a Rau or something, some kind of mask that won't do too much if it's always active, and you could stay this size."
IC: ZonguAfter an awful lot of running around the temple, the penguin-like Toa of Magnetism found a small room with a shrine and altar at one end and an aisle through the middle, with benches on each side on which sat some very familiar friends of Zongu, such as some Ko-Koro Guardsmen, a few distant (and even fewer close) family members and some random people he'd never met."Heeyy, you guys!" he cried happily. "What're you all doing here? Is this someone's wedding?" everyone burst out laughing. Zongu's brow furrowed and his lips (if you could call them that) tightened. His fifteenth cousin thirty-two times removed, Nanu, realised that Zongu seriously had no idea what was going on. "It's your wedding!"Zongu's eyes widened, and his jaw fell open, as he looked over to the altar and saw-his wife-to-be.She was a Brakas Monkey."Oh. My. God.""ZONGU YOU DONE YET?" "Who's that?" asked a Matoran standing with Zongu's... Bride (it disgusted him to think about it)."Oh, that's my friend...""Well, let's get on with the wedding!""Umm, actually I was kind of hoping I could have that ring back...?" he twiddled his fingers awkwardly and winced."Oh I see how it is. You want it for that girl outside, right?""No-""Are you gonna stand for that Sise?" Sise? Who's- The Brakas started making noises in response, and tore off down the aisle to charge after Zongu. Ah. That's who it is.***"RRRRUUUUUNNNNN!!!" Zongu roared, charging out of the temple and past a confused Keuirce, Tirra and Elysi, followed by a berserking Brakas in a wedding dress.
IC: Noira:Noira pointed at the still-bound Aurel, who Suminaxe had left behind before he departed (perhaps in anticipation of Echelon's plans), in question, wondering what Iegasia wanted to do with her.
IC: [iegasa]"Oh yes, Noira, please release her bonds would you?"IC: [Elysi]Elysi stared. "Tell me Zongu, if I killed your fiancée, would you be fine with it?"
IC: Noira:Noira nodded, and begun to untie Aurel.IC: Aurel:Uncertain of what would happen next, Aurel tensed up, and prepared to either fight, or run away.
IC: [iegasa]"Do not worry my dear," said Iegasa. "We have no intention of fighting you. Would you like some tea?"
IC: Aurel:Aurel's mouth formed a perfect "o" of surprise at Iegasa's remark as Noira finished untying her, "Uhm... Sure...?"
IC: [iegasa]"Noira, please get this young lady a cup of tea."
IC: Noira:Noira nodded, retrieving a spare teapot and beginning to boil water inside it.
IC: [iegasa]"So, tell me about yourself."
IC: Aurel:"Uhm... I'm Aurel. I'm a Toa of Fire. I'm not from around here."
IC: Niici watched the new Toa lean back and his chair."I agree, it seems wise to host a concert that normal people can go to, for once. As you said- to improve our image with the general public. Make us seem more... human," said the Toa, "I, for one, will definitely do my best to attend. The concert will be held in Le-Koro yes?" "That's correct," answered Niici."I'd recommend some sort of advertising- talk it up with the merchants and such, although I assume this is already being done," continued the Toa, "I know I shall do some as well, recommend it to my customers and partners." "It would be most appreciated, newcomer," Niici said, smiling warmly, "What's your name, by the way?"
IC: [iegasa]"It is nice to meet you," he replied. "I find it rather amusing that a person of your trappings is engaging in such a conversation with someone like me."
IC: Aurel:"So now I'm just some sort of plaything to you?"
IC: [iegasa]"Of course not. I rarely play with people's minds these days."
IC: Aurel:"So now what? You plan to leave, what are you going to do with me then?"
IC: [iegasa]"You may leave, but first, please, enjoy Noira's tea."
IC-Kalen (or Kalten. It was one of those two.):Slowly, Kalen moved through the drifts of Ko-Wahi, on towards Ko-Koro. He had taken a longer path than normally he might, but that was only to protect the location of his abode...not that it wouldn't already be broadcast off to who-knows-who in Xa-Koro...Which appeared to be where those he had been with earlier had been headed, after he had seen them move through the air...Or where that sickening, half-Rahi Toa had gone off to, the Toa of Lightning having seen that one's tracks in the snow. Soon enough, though, he came up to Ko-Koro, before enlisting a Gukko ride onwards to Xa-Koro...having left his apprentices back at the Templum.OOC: Kalen to Xa-Koro.
IC: Aurel:Aurel raised an eye in question, "Wont you get in trouble with your... 'friends'?"
IC: [iegasa]"Of course not. Does being a follower of Makuta mean that I need to kill everyone? Besides, it would mess up the floor."
IC: Aurel:"Oh. Ohkay then. I guess floors have feelings too. Have you ever met a talking floor before? I'm telling you, that was a interesting island."
IC: [iegasa]"I would be fascinated if I met one."
IC: Aurel:"Indeed, they apparently hate it when people spill and drop things on them. Claim it burns. Anyway, why are you here? Of all places, why here?"
IC: [iegasa]"The climate is refreshing."
IC: Aurel:"Really? I think I may have froze some of my insides on the way up here... And also, aren't you afraid those other Makuta-worshippers are going to attack you for letting me go?"
IC: [iegasa]"You must have spent some more time in the colder areas. We are on the Ko-Ga Border now, so it is a rather cool place."
IC: Aurel:"Huh. And you didn't answer my question."
IC: [iegasa]"They can try."
IC: The Ko-Matoran grinned at the visitor. He was all white with a noble Kakama. "Why yes, we're planning one and we need musicians to open for our stars," the Matoran said, "Are you here to audition?"IC: CorcianoCorciano nodded. He put up a field of silence around Zharuk and then started for the concert stand, looking every now and then to make sure the field stayed up. He arrived at the Cultured Gentry booth. "I've heard you have a concert going on?" he said.
IC: Corciano"Yes," he said. "I am, though may I ask, I'm kinda new to the whole public performing department, so what type of music do people who make the most money here perform?"
IC: Aurel:As Aurel mused on Iegasa's words, Noira walked in, placing two cups on the table in-front of the two, and began to pour some freshly-made tea into the cups.
IC: "The Le-Matoran live a wild and carefree lifestyle, and that it reflected in their music. Flutes, string guitars, light and soft drums, and of course, serene voices," the Ko-Matoran said, "We don't have an official name for this genre, we just call it 'Le-Koronan music'. Of course, we accept any kind of Mata Nuiian music. What do you specialize in?"
IC: COrciano"That sounds doable," he said. "When does this thing begin?"
IC: [iegasa]"Please try Noira's tea. It is delicious."
IC" My name is Alyo," he said with a nod, "I am a trader. I don't believe I caught your title, by the way."
IC: Niici clearly heard the elder introduce her as the Chief of Operations earlier, but her abilities to separate thoughts from feelings kept her from caring about this. "I'm the Chief of Operations, Alyo," Niici said, doing a short bow, "It's a pleasure!"Niici continued speaking to the entire audience, "Be sure that each and every one of you will get a date and time for this concert. I don't know about you all, but I can hardly wait!"Niici chuckled, but quickly moved on to the next topic. "Of course, we can't stop at this concert. We need to decide what to do next!" Niici said, extending her arms, "I don't want the public to forget us, and if possible, I want to get the planning for our next event underway. In order to do that, we need to answer the million-widget question"Niici brought her arms back in."What should we do?" Niici asked, "What should the Cultured Gentry do that will undeniably increase our protective hold over the good villagers of this island? It needs to be bigger, for we must progress, not regress!"Niici once again opened the floor. IC: "The concert will be in a few weeks," the Ko-Matoran said, "We'll get you the date after the audition"Just then another Matoran stepped out of the white and sand blue curtains that decorated the booth. This one was an Onu-Matoran, interestingly enough. He was black and dark gray, with a light gray noble Kaukau. He quickly noticed the visitor."Oh, welcome sir!" the deep, jovial voice erupted from the Onu-Matoran. It wasn't informal like most Onu-Matoran speech. His diction was in the proper fashion that made the Cultured Gentry recognizable."Are you ready for the audition?" asked the Ko-Matoran.
IC: Corciano"Ok," he said, taking a long swig of water from his canteen and singing a few warmup notes. "I'm ready."
IC: RitRight, typical, can't he say anything useful for once. "I can't help you if I don't have to work off of." I stated bluntly, it was a matter of fact he couldn't dispute.
IC: [Vaisaga]Vaisaga sighed. "This acquaintance of mine ... is a schizophrenic psychopathic sociopath with no morals. I'm chasing after them to stop them from causing any more harm."
IC: Keuirce"Exit stage left, closely pursued by a Brakas." Keuirce muttered. "At least we now know who -- short of a Dikapi -- would fall for Zongu. You know, they say that you find people who somewhat resemble your parents most attractive..."
