Techna: Breakdown

IC: VorexVorex shivered slightly, and the tentacles seemed to sharpen. "I had no knowledge of this. The whispers did. They told me to run and hide."He used one to cut a sliver off a piece of metal, and used it to seal the space below the door.

OOC: If i've missed a post, please, correct me.IC: Typhian, New Metru NuiTyphian continued his advance, enjoying the screaming female's pleas for mercy. Unfortunately for her, he didn't 'do' mercy. The closest he got to mercy was a painless death. Typhian was only feet away when the Toa emptied the revolver's supply of bullets, all to no avail. They all shot off in different directions, richocheted by his skin.Typhian rushed foward, closing the distance between them in seconds. Grabbing the Toa, her lifted her up, letting her look him in the eyes. The Toa released shock after shock, but they barely even affected Typhian, who squeezed harder after each. Tears rolling down her checks, she began to beg for life. Typhian's insectian face contorted into the closet thing he could make to a smile. Her crying became more desperate, and her pleas longer. Typhian's mouth moved to form a few select words."You want to live?" He asked, unable to speak fluently, thanks to his implant. She nodded profusely. "Then talk." And talk she did, blabbing about all her contacts, criminal activities, and shady buisness deals. IC: Darkon, New Metru NuiDarkon slinked into the front of the shop, his eyes calculating possible escape routes. Seeing Mitrue, he spoke. "You... Saved... Me?" He asked, his voice barely above a hoarse whisper.

Once this is over with, I think you need both a psych eval, and a hearing, just so you can see how crazy you sound by talking about that every single second." Zero muttered, even as he continued to type, hoping that he didn't run into a virus-created firewall in the process.So much for our peace from hackers...

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)I turned to the technician (OOC: Kyrm)and cocked my head slightly."Do you have your laptop with you? Right now?"I had an idea, but for it to work, I would need unthinkable luck.-Teezy

IC: Vorex"You heard them too. You hear them now. You know that that could drive someone to insanity." Vorex grabbed a piece of metal, and prepared to fasten it to his mouth. "No more talk. Communicate through implants."He stuck it in, sealing his mouth off, and then started to use pieces of metal, and random nearby screws, to fasten the windows and the door. Zero had better hurry with the ventilation shafts.

-==IC: Zero==-"I'm a robot; Mythos class; talking doesn't effect me, as it's basically a brain implant that can activate external speakers to 'talk', though you can use your implant, of course." Zero stated, even as he quickly continued work on the sealing process. It was taking a while, but..."I think I've got it." Zero stated, as he hit enter, and waited to see if the vents actually got sealed off...

IC: Gust (The Citadel, New Metru Nui)Gust and Airu's links both suddenly went off at the same time, and their faces blanched."What is it, sir?" one of the guards asked, worried. Gust put his head in his hands and sighed."The Drazen cartel just hit CHI with a canister of Protox nerve gas," the Toa Techna of Air said. "About 25% of their staff has been lost already."OOC: Next hour. Current in-game time is 7:00 PM.-Teezy

-==IC: Zero//Final Stand, CHI Detention Center==-Zero paused, as he read something on the control panel, closed his eyes, and sighed."... I need... to do something." Zero said, as he looked up from the screen, which read that the seals around the rooms that had been sealed were beginning to weaken; even in the Detention Center."Keep your mouths covered; all of you. I don't know what will happen, but... This needs to be done..." Zero said, as he waked over to the door, and unlocked the seal on the door manually, from the panel there, and paused, as he addressed Vorex."... You said that the insanity and voices would last until I died... Maybe it's my time, then." Zero stated, as he unsealed the door, and then stepped out of the doors, and attempting to seal it behind him, with limited gas exposure. He then ran up the stairs in the building, his mind racing as he did so. Zero ran down the hall of the floor that contained the AC room, and unsealed the door, so it would open, as he noticed the effects were oddly beginning to get to him.Corrosion... Zero noted, and walked inside, sealed the door once more, even as he pulled out his gun once more, and began to charge it up. He then walked toward the canister that was near the air conditioning machine, and contemplated the situation once more, quickly.I don't want to die... But I must do this, so no-one else has to die. Zero thought, and sighed, as he fired the charged blast right into the side of the canister, blowing it up, and releasing the corrosive and deadly gas into the room itself. Zero then tossed his gun to the floor, and began to quickly type in the necessary commands to shut down the air conditioning unit itself.It's.. not... working... Zero thought, as his vision became filled with static, but tried once more, and submitted the command needed, and pressed the enter key, even as the corrosion got too much for his robotic legs, and they gave out. However, he heard the tell-tale sign of the machine shutting down.Just... like... me... Zero thought, as he collapsed to the ground, and laid there, the gas slowly eating at his body, even as it slowly began to dissipate, and leave the rest of the building alone...G-good... B...ye... Eve... ry.... one.

IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk cursed. "Athen. Get into the CHI mainframe and determine where we stand."Got it. Working on it now.....

IC: KrymKrym was momentarily shocked, barely recognizing that anyone called his name.He thought for a little while, and then replied. "Of course. But the battery might be a little low." He spoke, handing the laptop over."I haven't had a chance to charge it in a while, so you might have to do whatever you need quickly."

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)I took the laptop and turned it on, quickly accessing the layouts of the CHI building and reading the AC units."What the...?" I muttered. "AC unit is clear. Protox is being dispelled. Somebody must have destroyed the canister..."-Teezy

IC: Krayzikk and Athen"I concur." Athen spoke through Krayzikk's voice box. "The gas is dissipating, and the AC has been completely shut down."Krayzikk paused. "Wouldn't someone need to do that manually? Destroy the canister, I mean."

IC: (Az-Techna Ruins)It had been little over a day since Az had fought in battle, and he was starting to get edgy. Wandering the ruins of Techna, he quietly stalked a patrol of three CHI agents. While they were wandering around the ruins, merely standing guard, Az waited for night to come.The agents were rather easy prey.From a cavity in his shoulder, the machine gun emerged. Aiming at the first Toa, he mentally uttered a command: Fire four round burst.The gun cracked off four rounds in a second. One agent dead, two more to go. Commanding his weapon once again, a stream of rounds flew at the other, killing them before they could react.With a grin, Az left to hunt more agents.

IC-Kal:"You're kidding me," Kal said annoyedly. He activated his implant, trying to connect with somebody in the building. There was one signal there, that he could barely access. He tried calling, no avail."Great," he muttered. He accessed the memory of the being's computer there...Aha.It was Zero. Looked like he'd managed to blow the cylinder, at the cost of leaving himself to crumble and fall apart. Kal frowned. "Looks like that isn't too much of a worry now," he said, broadcasting the rather small video feed he'd accessed to the others in the group.

IC: Lekar (wreak of ship) Beginning to walk down the hallway, Lekar stopped at the intersection. "You guys coming?" IC: Krash (Krahzia)" Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to blow-stuff-up I go!" Repeating this over and over and over and over, Krash entered Krahzia very loudly. "Hi ho, hi ho, hi ho!"Zakaro

OOC: Alright then. New post for Typhian. Remember, he's open for interaction. A eleven foot tall being tormenting a Toa on a rooftop isn't at all strange. IC:Typhian, New Metru-NuiTyphian listened patiently as the Toa babbled all of her crimes, his eyes boring into her as she spoke. As she finished, tears continued to stream down her face. "Please, please, please, if you have any heart, don't kill me." She pleaded, her shoulders shaking as she sobbed.Typhian's head tilted unnaturally. "Why? Why should I let you live?" He asked. "Because... Because..." She said, stammering for a reason. Typhian's face turned hard. "Is that all? Or do you have more to add to your argument?" He asked. She began to sob again, unable to speak. Typhian, his footing sure, walked over to the edge of the building looking over the bustling street. "Goodbye." He said in an eerie tone as he let her go, sending her plummeting downward.OOC: Alrighty, that's someone's cue to use one of their chars to save her.

IC: Airu (New Metru Nui)As Airu walked through the streets after Arell's debrief, he heard a vicious scream, his head snapping upwards and watching a female Toa plummet. Kicking off with his Kadin, he soared through the evening air, catching her and landing on a nearby rooftop.OOC: Boom. Bam. Bomb.imeanwut-Teezy

IC: Emma - CHI Tower - DyingEmma tried to rise up, ripping off a piece of her cloak, wrapping it around her mouth and nose. She hacked out loud, her body trying to expel as much of the poison as possible, but it was no use. She had to get out, before her lungs were corroded even more.Stumbling through the halls, she barely noticed that the toxin levels were lowering. Of course, she was half-dead, and her only goal was to escape the building before she died.After a far-too-long run, she slammed into the door to the landing platform, forcing it open with all her might. Emma almost laughed out loud when she felt the fresh, non-lethal air hit her.Her vision darkening again, she grinned, muttering, "Still got it."And then, she collapsed.-Void

IC-Hasil-Roof-of-tall-building:"Harsh," Hasil said to Typhian. "Was there any point to that?" His eyes glared at the tall being above his veil. "I don't know for sure, but I do believe that dropping Toa who are begging for mercy off of a building isn't a very common action."

IC: Mror"There are many problems around here." Mror said. "Which would you be referring to? And what would be your proposed solution?"

IC: Krash (Krahzia)Still singing at the top of his lungs, Krash happily walked past Mror and Twila. He then tripped over nothing and face planted. Lifting his head up, he still had that insane grin on his face. "I can has tripping?"Zakaro

IC: Typhian, New Metru-NuiTyphian growled at Hasil, whom he hadn't noticed. "I'm not common." He said, choosing to use simple words, as to not focus to much on the mouth implant. As soon as he was finished speaking, he took off across the building at a speed that would shame anyone with out a Kadin or Kakama. He quickly began to leap from rooftop to rooftop, has insect-like legs scuttling across stone.The Toa let out a sigh of relief. "T-Thank you." She said as she caught her breath. Her eyes were still watering. "That... beast... He... attacked me!" She said inbetween deep breaths.

IC: Mror"You can has insanity." Mror responded. He looked at Twila. "Well, I don't know. I'm a high-ranking Hacker, I don't often have time for fun. At least, until the ship crashed I didn't."

IC: Twila - Krahzia -"Hold that thought." Twila said as she turned to look at the crazed, smiling matoran. "I don't know what you just said, but you're adorable!" She exclaimed. She went up to him and pulled his cheeks in awkward directions.

IC: AMTaOS (w/Kairan) / Test Chamber D-4The metallic cube got across with no difficulty. Now Kairan could finish the test and... move onto another one.OOC: The pillar button drops another cube. Or it shoots stabbity things at you. One of the two.IC: AMTaOS (w/Trio) / Outside of Facility"Yes. Give me to the green one. He knows what to do."-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC-Hasil:Hasil shook his head at the fleeing being, before jumping wordlessly down to where Airu and the woman were, his hand on his sword.

IC: Airu (New Metru Nui)"Don't worry," said the soldier, smiling at her gently and releasing her from his arms. "You're okay now."-Teezy

IC: MrorMror looked at Krash and raised an eyebrow. "Apparently, you also can haz girl."IC: Tain"Calm down." Tain walked down the hallway, pistol raised.

OOC: Ah, I won't push it then. Kairan might wish he had once he gets out, though. =P-==IC: Kairan//Test Chamber==-Kairan launched himself across once more, and then pushed the block onto the button, and made his way through to the next test chamber.I wonder how everyone else is doing...?

IC: Krash (Krahzia)"Hey!" Krash said, pulling away from Twila. "You can't have those! You can have this though!" With that, he pulled out a bomb and threw it into her hands. OOC: It's not lit.Zakaro

IC: MrorIn an instant, Krash found two pistols aimed at his head, held by the still smiling Mror. It was too fast for anyone to even see him draw. "Yo. Matoran. Take a chill pill."

IC: Twila - Krahzia -"Ah...it gave me a present." Twila said affectionately. "It makes me want to blow something up with it." She threw the bomb in the middle of the street, she shot it with a blast of shadow. It exploded in a huge ball of fire. IC: Savina - Outside Testing Facility -Savina kept up with the other two as they headed where the computer lady had directed.

IC: Krash (Krahzia)"HEY! I'm not an it! I'm a... a... a..." His mouth fell open and his face went blank, except for the crazy smile. "a... Mat-or-am? Mack-or-em? Mat-or-kan? M-ato-ran! Mmm-atooo-ran. Yes, that's it." His face returned to it's insane look once more. He also ignored Mror.IC: Lekar (wreak of ship)"Tain! You coming?"Zakaro

OOC: Immunity to poisons would be external and internal effects. But at least Zero can be... rebuilt!I mean, he's not the original anyways. IC: AMTaOS (w/Kairan) / Test Chamber D-5Kairan would find himself faced now with an open elevator shaft. "Continue up to the next test."IC: Thazris / Krazhia"Well aren't you all nice!" came a mysterious voice, as Thazris watched from atop a newly completed building nearby to the trio below him (Mror, Krash, Twila). His eyes narrowed. "What is with this place? We'll have killed each other off before Ryjak finishes the place."IC: AMTaOS (w/Trio) / Outside Testing FacilityThe group would pass through many halls, full of deactivated turrets and defense mechanisms. "Luckily for you, I was able to have these shut down with some... help. The security measures will not be a problem for you."Finally, they came to a huge crack in the ship, a massive chasm splitting the room in half cleanly. "Oh look. I told you your testing abilities would be required."IC: Ezraftin / CHI BuildingEzraftin awoke, slowly. He couldn't figure out what had happened - somebody, or something, had clubbed him in the back of the head when he had been assisting the civilians and some of the guards.There was nobody in the hall. IC: MrorWith a shrug, the pistols vanished once more. "Well, it seems we have a pyromaniac on our hands." He grinned. "Interesting."OOC: If you've ever watched the anime Bleach, his expression is nearly identical to Ichimaru's.IC: TainWith a muttered curse, Tain created a bridge using iron gathered from around the area.

OOC: Lev: Well, that's the problem. The original, Omega, died aboard the Techna, before it even crashed. So there's not even a replica possibility; as things stand now. xD-==IC: Kairan//Test Chamber==-Kairan walked up to the elevator, and looked at it, to see if there even was an elevator there, and if not, if he'd have to climb up himself.OOC: Krayzikk: Awesome. =D

IC: VorexVorex looked up. He heard another voice among the whispers; a familiar voice. It was Zero.He ripped the sheet of metal from his mouth. Very little of the toxin had gotten into the room, and the fact that he no longer felt the gas eating into him proved what Zero had done:He had died for everyone else.Vorex could not help but smile at the irony in it; he had thought death would be an escape from the whispers, but instead he had joined them.IC: NikarraNikarra stood outside the CHI Tower. Focusing, she could hear thoughts related to some kind of deadly gas that had been released. She stood outside the doors and waited to see if they opened.

IC: Esao (CHI Building, New Metru Nui)I finally stood after about ten minutes, my hunger forgotten, and pushed open one of the doors. No sweet odor greeted me, nor did the twitches and agony that would inevitably come with the death brought on by Protox.It was over."We're clear," I said to the others. I activated my link."This is Special Agent in Charge Mandala. All units, report."-Teezy

IC: Twila - Krahzia -"Alright...matoran." She said with a grin that made her look like she was up to something. She created a leash made out of shadow. "Put this on, you get to be my pet for the day." Twila turned around to see Thazris. "Ah...we're just trying to have a little fun." She said with very childish and innocent tone.
