BZPRPG: Ko-Wahi

IC: Zyron When Zyron's boat reached the shores of Ko-Wahi, he found it quite hard to believe at first. So much ice. It's everywhere! The thought alone made him shiver, and had also been a reason for why he hadn't come here earlier... but now it seemed like a good idea to him. At least it would be something different. And who knew, maybe things would work out better this time.Or everything will get just as bad as before. We'll see.The matoran sighed and adjusted his wide-brimmed hat. Then he climbed out of his boat and looked around. If his information were correct, he should be somewhere close to Ko-Koro.One question remained: what to do with the boat? Zyron thought about it for a bit, then decided to just leave it there. He probably wouldn't need it anymore anyway. If everything went well.A slight smile crossed over his face.And off we go again. Into an adventure. Hopefully.OOC: Oh hello everyone. I'm new to this, and I hope everything's okay this way... yep. ^^

OOC: Welcome to the BZRPG Taka Nuvia! :)IC: Zakama"Well we just use our swords as shovels I guess," Zakama stated, "Or by shovels,"

IC: "Watch, young one." I grinned. Zakama was probably older than me, but he had lost much of his memory. I grew the torches into wooden shovels. "Now, if you would be so kind, Nidiak, coat the shovel heads with iron."OOC:: Odd place for a Le Matoran. Welcome Taka Nuvia!

IC: Nidiak"Alright. I shall be so kind." Nidiak covered the shovel heads in iron.OOC: Welcome to the place of horrible death BZPRPG Taka Nuvia!

IC: "Now we have shovels. Zakama, the stress will be mostly on you, as you have to heat up the ground so it's not rock hard."

IC: Zakama"No problem," Zakama said taking a shovel, "So Lathon, take us to this village,"

IC: "Yeah, Lathon better guide us. I got lost for a few years once."

OOC: Here's some interaction, Taka. IC: MykaThe Ko-Matoran trudged through the snow. She didn't know how long she'd been walking -- days, at least.At last, she collapsed from exhaustion. She lay on the ground, listening to the sound of the waves lapping against the shore.Wait... waves? Her head lifted up. Taking strength from the knowledge that she was at the very edge of the coast, she got up and started running. As she finally saw the sea in front of her, some ice below her feet gave way and she began tumbling downwards, coming to a stop as she crashed into another Matoran (Zyron)."Sorry," she muttered, picking herself up; "I'm Myka."

IC: LathonLathon nodded at his companions as he saw the shovels. "This way then." he said as he began to walk off through the snow, his dome of air around him almost visible since snow could easily be seen being deflected by the invisible dome around him. He walked for some time through the frozen land, frost coating his lime-green mask and armor as he stepped. His bright emerald eyes bore through the white mist of snow as he walked, his greatsword slowly clinking against his back. Soon what seemed to be the gate of a village loomed into the view. The sign had fallen off, but it clearly read Ihu-Koro in the language of the Matoran.

IC: I shuddered. "Okay, let's go in." I started to walk to the gate but stopped. "Lathon, if you would rather go first?"

IC: Well that was unexpected.The last thing Zyron would have expected was meeting someone else right after getting there. Or rather, having someone crash into him.He wasn't sure whether to be amused or annoyed. So he just decided to go with neutral. And try to find out more about that other matoran."Hello Myka. The ice is quite slippery today, huh?" he said with a slight smile.Probably not the best way to start a conversation... but still better than saying nothing.

IC: MykaMyka rubbed her back. "You try walking through the snow for a few days, and tell me then that slipping on ice isn't preferable."What's your name, then?"

IC: ZakamaZakama looked at the frozen village, "I feel sad... You know what...we could finish the burial and rebuild this village, as a monument I guess,"

IC:The Le-matoran hesitated a moment before replying. He never liked giving away details about himself."I'm Zyron" he said, "May I ask what you're doing out here?"

IC: Myka"Well," Myka sighed, "I was in Ko-Koro, and a few Ko-Matoran bet me ten widgets that I couldn't make it from Ko-Koro to the coast and back again on foot."

IC: ZyronHe raised an eyebrow. What a strange idea..."So that means Ko-Koro isn't actually that far away?"Somehow Myka looks exhausted. Has she really been walking through the snow for days? he wondered.

IC: MykaMyka shrugged. "I dunno. I've been walking through the snow for the past couple of days."

IC: "We could, if you could keep it warm enough for my powers to work right. Heck. I doubt the Matoran would want to live in a dead village, but if Lathon has no objections we could open this for settling again."

IC: Zakama Zakama nodded and started grab some wood and stick it like torch poles, grabbed some cloth and set the cloth on fire while it was wrapp to the wood. After 15 minutes, the village was warming up, "That enough heat?"

IC: I grinned. The effect the cold was having on me was ebbing. "Okay. Now I'll start rebuilding. The rest of you should bury, I think. Although I might need Nidiak's help for some of the metal bits."

IC: ZakamaZakama nodded and started to help bring the dead matoran to an empty field near the village, then he would make burial holes to lie them in.

iC: I grabbed a nearby evergreen tree and absorbed it. Ah. So this is the kind of wood that grows in the ice. Handy to know. I started growing a hut made out of the same wood, which was hard to do in this Wahi.

IC: ZakamaZakama brought about 4 dead matoran to an empty white field and started to shovel away the snow and made a rectangular hole big enough to place the matoran in. He placed one matoran in it and shovel the dirt back on it and also the snow, placing it's mask he took off over it's grave."Rest in peace," Zakama said,

IC: I wiped some sweat off of my forehead. This is hard going. I grew a huge pile of wood in the middle of the village. "Zakama! Could you light this on fire please?"

IC: Zyron"Oh. For how many days exactly?" Zyron asked. Maybe he could find out how far it actually was away.

IC: MykaMyka shrugged once again, a small frown forming on her grey Huna, almost seeming slightly embarrassed. "I kind of... lost count..."

IC: Zyron"Hm. But can you at least remember which direction you came from?"Zyron didn't like being negative, however, he couldn't get rid of the feeling that things would become even more complicated. Getting lost on his own was one thing. But now that he'd met Myka he felt kind of obliged to help her. If she needed help, of course.

IC: Zakama Zakama pulled out his sword and aimed it at the pile of wood Kaithas made. He shot a blast of fire from the blade like a bullet and sent it flying towards the pile of wood, setting it ablaze, warming the villae and went back to making graves.

IC: I grinned as the fire melted the old wreckage of destroyed ice huts away, and warmed the village enough for me to work to my full potential. I grew two more huts, and turned to Lathon and Nawal. "Seeing as you two were here when it was normal, how many huts d'you think should be built?"OOC: The fire is probably visible from a fair distance away Taka Nuvia.

OOC: They're right at the coast, and they're looking for Ko-Koro specifically, anyway.IC: MykaMyka pointed at the trail left by her fall, without looking back. "That way."

OOC: Hm. I fear I have to admit that it might still take a bit 'till I've found my orientation ^^"IC: ZyronZyron looked past her, following the trail with his eyes."So I assume", he said, "that, in case you didn't get lost meanwhile, Ko-Koro would also be this way?"A map would come in handy, he realized, annoyed about the fact that he should have thought of this sooner. For example when he'd prepared for this journey.. ah well.

IC: Myka"I have a good sense of direction." Myka smiled. "So, yeah, probably."

IC: Zyron"Then I would suggest that we go there, alright?" The longer they talked, the more impatient Zyron became. He just couldn't wait to get there and finally see it with his own eyes.

IC: Myka"Alright then." Myka sighed. She wouldn't have sighed, except Zyron didn't seem to be all that happy, which was probably her fault in some way. The Ko-Matoran turned around and began walking, expecting Zyron to follow her.IC: Keuirce..."You have absolutely no moral compass."

IC: LathonHe'd walked into the village first, but he'd stood very still for a long time, morning the dead and trying to keep the flashes of his memory from returning. Just setting foot int he village brought back images of blood stained snow, of the twisted faces on the dead Matoran's masks, of how he'd slaughtered the Skakdi for what they'd done.He shook his head, and then began to use his power over wind to levitate six dead Matoran over to the white field. He grabbed one of the shovels and dug large holes for each Matoran, before burying them. "We should find something to mark the graves of these Matoran... so people will know that this is a graveyard." he said, as he wiped some frozen sweat off his mask. The fire in the middle of the village was large as Lathon walked back, heating his frozen limbs. "I'd say about thirty huts would do for now." he said. The original huts had been made of ice, but they'd melted from the flames.

IC: I concentrated hard and grew another two huts. "I can grow some tombstones once I'm done here. I'll have to rest for awhile though."

IC: ZyronThere had been something about Myka's sigh that slightly puzzled Zyron, and he silently wondered about it while following her. But soon he forgot about it, and marvelled at the landscape instead. It really was a beautfiul sight, unlike anything he'd ever seen before.Still, getting to Ko-Koro would be even better...Then another thought crossed his mind."You said you've been walking through the snow for several days - how did you spend the nights?" he asked, honestly curious.

IC: MykaMyka patted a satchel she was carrying over her shoulder. "I've got a heatstone in here. I usually set up camp in a cave, but when I couldn't find any I just had to keep walking."

IC: Zyron"Oh. That sounds... cold" he replied and shivered at the thought. Why had he come here again? He wasn't sure.But he'd have to find out where to get such a heatstone, they seemed quite helpful around here.

OOC: Taka Nuvia!!! =DIC: Aurel:"You have no idea how many times I get that a day."
