IC: KraynKrayn looked at Krayzikk. "Pick me up, will ya?" Krayzikk glumly tossed him over his shoulder and followed he group. He didn't expect an answer, but it was worth a shot. "Jaron? You there?"
IC: [Naona]"What now?" asked Naona, turning to face the others.
IC-Corik:Corik just stood there, still, feeling as though he'd taken a punch to the gut. He then shook his head, jabbing his axe in the ground so it stood upright. He walked over to a tree, one of the last living trees in all of Ta-Wahi.He contemplated it for a moment, before activating his mask. He growled in fury, and lashed out with a fist. And again. He hit the tree a third time, in the same spot, and the tree groaned, toppling over. He then sat on the stump, slumping his shoulders sadly.IC-Jaron:"You need me?" Jaron said to Krayzikk.OOC: Assuming it's Krayn that is still speaking, anyways.
OOC: Nope, Krayzikk. Should have clarified.IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk was surprise Jaron actually showed up. "I don't even know what to do with myself anymore. For god's sake, I nearly killed Tillian!"
IC:This island's mine.A lone Skakdi walks casually amongst the Ta-Koro streets, calm and collecting his thoughts. His bright red are blends in with the heated atmosphere, his battle scars relics of a past life. A soldiers life.Soldiers don't get much. Oh, they get their orders, their weapons, their skirmishes over the most futile happenings. The Skakdi continued on his way, path aimless. He kept his head high, shoulders firm, and let's his eyes wander round the bustling Koro. He saw opportunity. He saw chance, influence, and above all power. His name was Yovtann, and he was ready to begin.Power. With power, oh, with that, possibilities soar. Mark my words, my name will be murmurs from hear to Po-Koro and beyond once I'm done. No matter what it takes, no matter how long.
IC-Jaron:"Keep going. I wouldn't recommend following with this quest of revenge, though," Jaron cautioned. "Besides, Tillian's a friend, somewhat. You most likely wouldn't have killed him. It's not the sort of thing you do." He then sighed, though no air was moved. Just another habit from when he was living."All I can say is ask for forgiveness. Don't apologize, he won't accept that, but ask him to forgive you for who you are." He then looked off in the distance, back at Corik."Although, I think a better cause right now would be making sure he doesn't kill anybody," Jaron said.
OOC: When is the Infernavika getting to Ga-Wahi? I'm waiting to wake Song 'til then.IC: Krayzikk"You really think he would kill someone? Tillian?" But even as he said it, Krayzikk knew that he had a point.
IC: Emotia - Heading to Ta-koro -Emotia leaned her head on Tillian's shoulder. "Yeah well, Reavs has to choose her own path...we couldn't make her come with us. And will see her again...in Ko-koro....hopefully." She whispered this back.
IC-Jaron:"I know Tillian would," Jaron muttered. "I've seen him do it. But no, I meant that guy back there," Jaron said, pointing an ephemeral thumb behind himself."I wouldn't be surprised if Corik went off on his own for those pirates. And he'd probably be stupid enough to go Nova on them or something, trust me."
IC: Tillian (En Route, Ta-Koro)"Yeah," whispered back Tillian, kissing the top of Emotia's head. "And I'll brave the Ko-Wahi tundra as long as I need to if it means I can stay with you."He grinned and squeezed her waist."Just try to make sure we can leave after a day or two. It gets nippy this time of year around Mt. Ihu."-Teezy
IC: Krayzikk"That sounds like something I would have done, had I had powers." Krayzikk replied. "I'll keep an eye on him for you. Both Corik and Tillian."
IC: BahkuiThe Onu-Matoran shrugged. "No reason, it just allows me to carry around that extra disk."That was entirely true. Besides, Bahkui liked to be ready if he ever needed to be. Loading a disk took time.
IC: Emotia - Heading toward Ta-koro -"Yeah, I've heard it's cold up there. I don't think I'd want to stay longer than we have too."Skyra then realized someone was missing...someone who hadn't been in the fight at all. "Say...where's Laserbeak?" He asked Naona.
IC: Tillian (En Route, Ta-Koro)"Well, good thing you'll be there," he said with a smirk. "You're so hot that all the ice will just melt away."OOC: PICKUP LINE AHOY-Teezy
IC: Emotia - Heading to Ta-koro -Emotia blushed a little and smiled at Tillian. "Flattery, in this case...might get you something." She teased.
IC: Laviha"Unfortunately, the simple and undeniable truth is that money makes the world go round. I know this best." Laviha said, attempting to comfort Grochi but finding it rather hard when trying to explain the reasoning of the situation. Being poor taught her many lessons, including the one she had just told to the Toa of plasma.
IC: The Dog"Hm, a little spark might just be what I'd need for a proper transmutation, but I'll pass if it's directed at myself, thanks." Ishi glanced around. The company had pretty much fled, leaving just him and the insane toa. Not much for bright side of life after all.. With deliberate restraint, Ishi began talking. "I have a debt to an acquaintance who saved my life. Y'know, the usual eye-for-an-eye deal? Well, A life saved is a life slaved, apparently. I do odd jobs: information collection, coffee runs, shopping..."
IC: Iris"Why did your employer want to know about the Marks?" Iris asked. He had his arms folded across his chest.
IC:(Trad)"Name's Trad. Nice to meet you, Voi." grinned Trad, extending his hand. "Say, do you need anyone to help you? I need a job."IC:(Eri)Eri landed on the docks. Trad's latest letter was sent from around here. She asked one passing Matoran where Trad could be found, only to find out that he was sparring with someone. She sighed and headed the way that the Matoran pointed to.
IC: (The Infernavika)Now that the heat of the battle had faded away, Perkahn was no longer so sure of himself in every step he took, so he now realized the vastness of this catastrophe. Many of them were dying. Turaga Onewa was gone, and so was his way of finding out who wanted him dead. Now it didn't matter: all of Mata Nui would now want him dead. And he had, because of his dubious morality, refused to betray the pirates to Tillian, thus closing the last door he could ever have for pardon, unless he made up a false identity and walked around Mata Nui as the Dutch-accented Guy With A Battleaxe And A Tendency To Cleave People's Heads Off.Boy, was he screwed.Perkahn felt the ground slipping from under his feet and a sudden lack of air in his throat. This was terrible. So terrible. He steadied himself just as he fell by holding on to the ship's broadside. Mata Nui were they screwed.
IC: Lasinia"You okay there?" asked Lasinia, popping up next to Perkahn.
IC: (The Infernavika)Perkahn rested his back against the broadside and swallowed hard, hoping to let some air into his lungs. "I've had worse. How about you? You fine?"
IC: Lasinia"Perfectly fine. My cabin is flooded though. Surprised me when I awoke from my nap."
IC: (The Infernavika)Usually, Perkahn would've laughed at such a sentence as Lasinia had just said. Now, however, he couldn't."The battle surprised me too. I'd rather it hadn't. How are the others?"
IC: Lasinia"Mostly alive."
IC: (The Infernavika)Perkahn raised an eyebrow. "Mostly?"
IC: Lasinia"They've taken a lot of damage."
IC: (The Infernavika)"I've seen. Where are we headed now? To Ga-Wahi?"
IC: Lasinia"I don't actually know. Just woke up."
IC:A sound startled Sisk. It sounded like the distant echo of a cannon being fired. He knew there were some being trying to make a living as pirates, but their threat paled in comparison to that of the Makuta, like all others did. But why would they fight off the coast of Ta-Wahi?The Le-Matoran held up his hand, signaling for Lans, Hasil and the others to hold their thoughts for a moment. Yes, among the idle grumbling of the Volcano they were in, the definitive distant sounds of a sea-battle could be heard."Since when is the fire-village so hot about fighting on the sea...?" Sisk wondered aloud.OOC: I am genuinely frustrated that I had to sit in a car all day yesterday and miss this. Worng place, wrong time, everytime *grumble*
IC: (The Infernavika)"You slept through the entire battle? Just like that?" Perkahn couldn't help but laugh, now. Here he was, fighting for his life in more than twenty different ways, and then Lasinia just turns out to have spent the whole time asleep. Mata Nui, you are a prick. A very, very annoying prick with a remarkably good sense of humor.
IC: Lasinia"Yeah. No idea how I did so."
IC: (The Infernavika)Perkahn smiled. Felt so out of place to do that, but he smiled."I'm going to get a drink. Want to come with me?"
IC: Lasinia"Sure!"
IC: (The Infernavika)With that, Perkahn took off. His cabin was probably flooded, ravaged, and utterly destroyed, but he hoped so much it wasn't that bad.It wasn't that bad. Navigating through the ruins that the below-deck was now, he found it - still unused, as he virtually hadn't slept since he left the jungle - still at least partially intact. His bed still stood there, as did the cupboard beside it, and although the desk was cleaved in two by something, only ash remained of the wardrobe, and puddles of water were everywhere, the place still seemed rather solid. He took two bottles of mead from inside the cupboard and some sort of leaf from atop it. He poured some of the mead from one of the bottles into a glass and threw the leaf in, observing it rather tensely. Of course, nothing happened. Then he drank the mead and repeated the procedure with the mead from the other bottle. Nothing happened.Drinking the second glass, he lazily threw it aside and took the bottles, leading Lasinia back up on deck. He sat down and offered her one of the bottles."Cheers."
IC: LasiniaLasinia nodded, returning the gesture as she began to drink from the bottle."Tastes somewhat different to what I'm used to."OOC: Going to go to sleep. School tomorrow.
OOC: Seeya, then.IC: (The Infernavika)"My own special brew. You learn things when you spend a lifetime alone in the jungle." Perkahn said with just a hint of pride.
IC: Tillian (Docks, Ta-Wahi)"Oh, cool," said Tillian, positively beaming. "I love...something."IC: Raknar (Infernavika, Ta-Wahi)"You can finish brewing later, Perk," said Raknar, walking back up on deck. "We need to head to Ga-Wahi. Now. This ship won't last long otherwise."-Teezy
IC-Grochi:"There's more things than money makes the world go round," Grochi said to Laviha. "I've been in your shoes more than once, and that of many others besides. Were it only that everybody else had been." Grochi stood, and walked out hearing Raknar yelling something about Ga-Wahi.He stepped up to Raknar, and tapped the Skakdi on the shoulder. "I already set us a course," Grochi said, pointing to the landscape. "Watch how we're moving. We should be there in just a couple hours."
IC: (The Infernavika)"Perk?" he nigh hissed, although he wasn't awfully angry as such. He only heard it once - now - and he already hated the nickname. Then Grochi came along, and saved him the trouble of getting up."See, Raknar? Everything's fine without me meddling. Well, fine is a huge overstatement... but thanks t'our friend here, it's better off than it could be. Come on. Sit down. Have a drink."
