IC: IrisIris drew his broadsword from his back. "No, but now I'm legally justified."He looked at Frieza. "You want in on this too?"
OOC: Unless I missed something...IC (Khalisk)"Then that is where I will go. At what time would it be safest to depart?" Being ambushed by Rahi was not high on his list of thing's to do.
IC: [Twenty-Seven]"I suppose you'd prefer daylight. It's becoming dark. Just rest here for now and we'll go first thing in the morning."
IC: Utu - Ga-WahiUtu stepped up beside Iris, pulling him to face him, "You'll have your chance."He looked to Frieza, "Frieza! Back off."Looking at the newcomers in front of him he spoke, his voice low but still as intense, "If anybody wishes to touch them, you'll have to go through me."
IC: Skyra - Beach, Ga-Wahi -I cursed inwardly, but I put away my weapon. I tended to be brash and reckless, but I knew when to call it quits. I looked at Frieza and Iris. "Next time...your mark bearer buddies won't be around." I began to walk back to Tillian's house. Frieza looked a bit disappointed. "As you wish Utu."
IC: Tillian (Beach, Ga-Wahi)"You'll get your shot, bucko," said the vampiric Toa of Gravity to his best friend, his eyes still dark with rage and hunger. "You just gotta wait 'till they're not expecting you to take it."-Teezy
IC: Skyra - Beach, Ga-Wahi -I forced a smile as I looked at Tillian. "Yeah...actually after the wedding I think I have a plan that just might-" I lost my train of thought as I noticed Wraith approaching. "I'm still getting used to you not being a spirit." I commented to Wraith. Wraith seemingly ignored my comment and got straight to the point. "I've been looking for you for a while, didn't know you were here until one of the Mark Bearer's mentioned Tillian and Emotia's wedding.""Why were you following the Mark Bearers anyway?" I asked.Wraith sighed. "Because Tuara, Angelus, and Iris were heading to them. Tuara seems to have an alternate personality now, claims to be another Iris, and Angelus does as well, though his calls himself Dorian." I looked at Tillian. "Mata Nui...this just keeps getting crazier and crazier...I need another drink....oh god I sound like Havon." IC: Emotia - Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi -Emotia smiled at Labelle. "Thanks, this means a lot." Emotia hadn't left the house, not really wanting to talk to the other mark bearers.
IC: Tillian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"Pour one for me, as well," he muttered. "Dorian...should have killed him again when I had the chance..."His face was darkening more and more by the second. It would take a miracle to help brighten his mood.-Teezy
IC: Dalia:Dalia said nothing, she knew this wasn't her place. She simply just stood by Tank, if she agreed with any members of the group, it was him. The marks had to be removed. They couldn't be controlled, and in the hands of some of the other bearers, they could be a dangerous weapon that would hurt others. Invincibly, bloodthirsty warriors. Dalia stifled a shudder at the thought, it was gruesome.IC: Rodimus, Sideswipe (Ga-Wahi, outside of Ga-Koro):Rodimus quickly released a blast of fire elemental energy at the Phantoms, and charged, ax and spear ready to strike when the they were within range.Sideswipe quickly used his iron power to retract the wall, and charged at Blackout, aiming to attack the large phantom.
IC: Emotia - Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi -Emotia saw Tillian approaching and walked up to him. "What do the other mark bearers want?" She asked worriedly, she feared that they'd force them to come with them. I went and grabbed two bottles of...something...the heck if I knew what they were, as long as it was alcohol I didn't care. I handed one to Tillian. Wraith came up to me again. "You know we should be coming up with a plan, we all know that Utu and many of the other mark bearers have no intention of remove their marks...." "Well, I had one idea...it involves getting Havon though.""You're alcoholic friend?" Wraith said, if he had an eyebrow it would of been raised."He may drink a lot, but he's a trustworthy reliable friend. Not a bad fighter either, heard he helped defend Po-koro from the Rahkshi like Tillian. Plus he's the leader of the Hau Karda, we could use there help if getting the marks removed from everyone fails."
IC: Tillian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"They want us to come with them. After the wedding. They said...they said that eventually, the compounds used to create the Marks will destroy our mental stability and end up killing us."He pulled Emotia into his shoulder and kissed the top of her head."Now, normally, I would drop kick Utu out of Ga-Wahi and tell him to never return, but I'm not going to risk your safety just for my own personal satisfaction. So, if you want to go...we leave tomorrow night."-Teezy
IC:PearlPearl tugged on Skyra's arm. "Hau Karda? Are those the people who made the play in Le-Koro?"OOC:*Clears Throat* Um... Havon post anytime soon Snelly? ![]()
IC:"But not before I give the necklace to Emotia, right?" Labelle told Tillian and Emotia. She had only overheard the last part about leaving the night following the wedding. Still, she was drunk, and didn't quite remember her manners "It's part of an important ceremony, of Ga-Wahi culture! Oh, and you two have to get married and all. That too, I guess.
IC: Emotia - Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi -Emotia nodded. "If the only way to remove these marks is to go with them, then I guess we have to." Emotia sighed and then looked at Labelle. "So, how exactly do you give me this necklace, is there a certain way, or do you just have to put it around my neck?" "Yeah, that's them." I replied to Pearl. OOC: So...when are we gonna actually you know....start the wedding...so far we're just moping around and drinking alot. Not saying that's a bad thing. ![]()
IC-Jaron:Jaron, having been left by the rest of his group, turned to the group of Mark Bearers."Having fun?" He asked them, boredly.IC-Praggos:"Things could be better," Praggos said, shrugging.
IC:"Well, as I recall, it's supposed to go a little like this"Labelle began. It was hard for her to think, and she made no pain to hide this fact. "Right before you walk down the aisle, or as close to that time as possible, you're supposed to go into a room, with only other Ga-Wahi family members present, the person giving over the necklace and Turaga Nokama. Although I guess we won't be able to get Turaga Nokama" Labelle said. "Then, uhh, the person giving over the necklace, guess thats me, ha, umm, says some words. I forget what they exactly right now, but not too worry, I'm sure I'll remember by the morning. And then uh, yeah, I guess I just put it around your neck and you go and get married. No, wait..." Labelle thought for a moment. "No, yep you definitely go and get married then." At the back of her mind, Labelle was just picturing THE prank. The funniest one ever. It was so funny she almost laughed aloud, but luckily didn't. She got some hilarious idea's when she was drinking.
IC: Leadfoot bent the spikes upward, making them miss. "Oy, return the favor!"Dino disrupted the electricity and through that, the magnetism. The bullet flew to the nearest target, the metal pole made by Overlord. "Leadfoot, maneuver Snakebite!"Leadfoot made coils of metal form up around Blackout and Overlord's feet, all connected to one wire that pointed up stiffly. Dino touched the wire with his sword and sent an electrical charge through it, 1000 volts to his enemies. While he did that, he shot a guided bolt from his other sword so that no pole coming out of nowhere would redirect it, and rather, it would only pass straight through it at Overlord.
OOC: Fanixe, you evil son of a gun. Props to you, bro
IC: ReaverShe leant up against the same wall that Jaron was on. 'Forgive the questions, it's just a shock finding out that you're.... well, here.' She sighed heavily. 'But tell me, one Toa to another.... what's it like? I mean, death? Is it painful, is it peaceful, or.... or is it just nothing? You're dead and then there's nothing?'
IC-Jaron:Jaron thought a moment, intruiged by the question. "Honestly, Reaver," he said, "It's a little hard to explain. Kind of a mix of all three...it's painful, your spirit releasing from your body, but then there's peace. No sensation, no worries, nothing there but you and your thoughts...unless you actively seek out another." He had walked back away from the Mark Bearers, figuring that they didn't want to have a conversation."So, Reaver, how were your travels with Utu's group?" Jaron asked suddenly.
IC: VenatorThe punch, a flaming fist of agonizing pain. That was what Struck the wounded Toa of Ice, that is what sent him back. It struck his face, melting the front of his mask slightly as he stumbled backwards. Then his legs seemed to collapse underneath him. And he barely stopped his fall with his hands. The Toa of ice coughed painfully, looking as though he was about to become separate from his food. The punch to the face did not merge well when suffering a concussion. And it had really had a nasty effect. "S-sooo... Thi-is is how I d-die?" He barely spoke, trying unsuccessfully to rise to his feet. He just didn't have it in him anymore. He could barely even move from the pain reeling inside his mind."Let's-s make this q-quick."
IC: Salamander Salamander stood gasping desperately for breath and with numerous wounds, but he stood victorious. It had been a hard-fought victory, but it was a victory nonetheless. And now, it was time to punish Venator for all the horrible things he had done, namely stalking Salamander and being a general pain in the neck. Salamander lifted his arm up in anticipation of the killing blow.Moments went by, with no sign of movement from either party. If Venator still had the ability to move, he acted otherwise. Yet, Salamander remained in the same position, hesitating to deliver the final final blow for the first time in his life. Thoughts rushed through his mind, alternating between violent impulses to utterly destroy Venator and the more rational thoughts of letting the Toa of Ice live. After all, since when had irritating someone become a crime punishable by death? Even if he would like it to be, Salamander knew that killing Venator for that reason would be wrong. Not just that. The whole situation was wrong. For the first time, Salamander could see things in a similar light as Venator. Whatever his faults, the Toa of Ice had voluntarily taken upon himself the task of keeping Salamander in check and preventing him from destroying whatever crossed his path simply because he could. If anything, Salamander should have been thanking Venator, not killing him.And yet... Salamander had come too far to turn around and help Venator. It was too late for him to be a hero, that ship had long since sailed. He was nothing more than an anomaly, a being who couldn't be a hero but refused to become a villain. He was a shade of gray in a world of white and black."You can die if that's what you want, but I won't help you along the way."The words escaped his lips, surprising even himself. They were spoken in a harsh tone, but Salamander couldn't help but feel that somewhere in their depths was a trace of mercy. His desire to kill yet reluctance to back down had spoken up without his consent, but he couldn't help but be thankful for what they had said. With that he began to walk away."If I ever see you again, I will kill you. But for now... I'd recommend not dying."He wasn't sure if he meant what he said or not, but he was certain that even if he never saw Venator again it would be far too soon. Goodbye.OOC: And so ends the duo of Salamander and Venator...Yeah, Venator will probably be back to stalking Salamander within a week or so (if he survives, that is). Especially since Salamander left all the supplies. XD
IC (Khalisk)"Yes. Yes, that would be preferable to being stalked by Rahi and devoured by the same." Khalisk looked around the hut, it was certainly much more comfortable then the camp site he had left behind.
OOC: The only hole in Labelle's plan is the fact that Emotia has lived in Ga-koro for a long time, and has been to a few weddings. :3IC: Skyra - Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi -As I finished yet another bottle, I got a really cool idea. I looked around for Laserbeak, though my now quite hazy vision made that slightly difficult, eventually I spotted her. With a grin I crept up behind her and tackle hugged her onto a couch.Emotia looked at the quite drunk Labelle carefully. "You know...I've lived in Ga-koro for a long time, and now that I think about it, I don't recall this necklace thing at any of the weddings I've attended." Emotia wondered if in Labelle's drunken state if perhaps she was mistaken about the whole thing.
OOC: One last post to finish the story. It was fun, Despair. It was really fun.IC: VenatorHe was beaten, he could barely move. He had been through Karzahni, that is what his life could be compared to. The death of the one he loved, the destruction of everything he even knew. All that had held him along was revenge, the intention to kill all of the fiery beasts, the Dragons. They were mindless beasts, that is what he thought. Then Salamander changed that. He thought they were ruthless and heartless, but Salamander had once again shown him differently. Now, he saw himself in a different light. What if all of the dragons he had mercilessly killed had been the same, what if each one had not been a monster, but only that one... the one... Now what was there for him, his revenge was hollow, he had become the same as that he opposed, if not worse. These thoughts echoed through his mind again and again, like a plaguing phantom, never leaving. No...With a shout as loud as he could muster, he lifted his own blade above him, struggling against the pain he felt throughout his body. If Salamander turned at the scream, he would have witnessed a sharp blade diving downward, a tool of death falling. He had done nothing, accomplished nothing, only killed what may have been merciful, not as he had seen. Now he had become the very thing that he swore to destroy. The scream ended, silence...
IC:Emotia's voice brought Labelle's mind back to reality. "Right, well, like I said, it's a bit of an heirloom. It's supposed to be passed on from one Ga-Wahi bride to another, of her choice. And my mother kinda...kept it. For a long time. Wanted to save it for me. Which she wasn't supposed to." Labelle covered her mouth to stop herself from laughing. " But don't tell Nokama, when she gets back. I think she's forgot about it. She'd be angry."ooc: Thanks Zealokan! Course, this is just the first step of the plan, and it might not even work, because of a certain King...Snelly, I don't think it's that big of a hole. I hope.
IC: [Twenty-Eight]"There's a bed in the room next to this one."
OOC: Talin and co. from Po-Wahi.IC: Talin"Waaaaateeeeeer!" Talin practically yelled, overjoyed at the sight of the blue liquid which the sandy dunes of Po-Wahi deprived him of. Without waiting for his companions, the Ta-Toa broke out into a sprint and dove into the beach water before bobbing back up to the surface."So refreshing..."
IC: KieraKiera rolled her eyes, as she calmly walked down the beach. She squatted at the water's edge. "Talin, you are way too excitable."
IC: Talin"Well...we did just walk through a whole desert on foot with little water non-stop." Talin replied dreamily, floating on the water via its inhalation with the help of his Faxon, his body possessing a balloon-like quality."Why don't you hop in? You'll know what I'm talking about when you do...or are you just going to sit there and act all pretty so your make-up won't fade when you see your new boy toy? Do you even wear make-up?"
IC: KieraKiera smirked. "Nope. All natural."With a grin, she shed her excess clothing, and started to wade into the water.
IC: TalinOnce more, Talin playfully stared at Kiera as she waded through the water, giving her that famous whistle. Definitely an angel, as always."All natural indeed." he said, continuing to look stupid as he floated on the water.
IC: Utu - Ga-Wahi"Iris," Both Irises looked at him, "Tuara. I need a Markless to keep tabs on the place, make sure Tillian doesn't plan anything," He started, putting his blade away, "Can you do that for me?"She nodded before running off.
IC: KieraKiera smirked as she stretched her arms over her head and arcing her back, holding it a little longer than necessary. "An angel ad always, Talin."
IC: TalinDone using his mask, Talin reverted to his original form and stood in the water rather than float. By the time he was done staring at Kiera discretely, he swiveled his head around to get a good look at their surroundings, his eyes settling on a not so far away Ga-Koro and then Feongulf, their infected Matoran. Why is she even following us...?"Yo, you wanna hop in too? As you can see, there's more than enough room in this 'pool'."
IC: KieraKiera grinned as she shifted into a squid, and started tugging on Talin's legs from down below.
IC: TalinBefore Kiera could fully submerge Talin, his skin suddenly became incredibly slippery as he slipped out of her grip with ease. Despite knowing the squid was actually Kiera, he couldn't help but feel a little freaked out about her appearance. Creepy crawlers and some deep-sea dwellers creeped him out."You're giving me the hibbie-jibbies, you know that?"
IC: KieraWith an implied grin, Kiera shifted into something that as a horrific, bioluminescent, mix of an insect and a squid. "I know." It was rather terrifying to hear her pretty voice come out of such a creature. She tugged on his leg.
IC: TalinEscaping once more via slippery skin, Talin swam to shore and jogged out onto the sandy shore, drying himself instantly by heating up his atmosphere."All right, swim's over!" he said with a smile, almost in surrender.
IC: KieraKiera gave a 'grin'. "Oh, don't you want a hug?"She started walking out of the water, shifting as she went into a more reptilian form.
IC: Feongulf -Feongulf grinned nervously, bemused as she watched the other two's antics. "No, I don't think anyone wants a hug from a giant lizard, thanks."
