IC: Alfon"Hold your horses, I'm just messing with you." Alfon said, waving a hand dismissively since Madrihk showed up. He'd leave the others with Kethrye to deal with."Nothing really, I'm pretty sure Kethrye's got things under control. However, that's not important right now. What is important though is the fact that you came to check up on little ol' me with my broken arm. How sweet! Wanna sign it?" he joked. Hopefully Madrihk would have gotten used to his antics by now. Then came the trio of battered Toa, the black one arriving first."Yep, headquarters of your local Makuta spawn exterminators and band of jack of all trades. Few whackos here and there but you get used to 'em. So welcome! Any questions or something I can help you with? Medical aid, maybe...?"
"If you or anyone else needs medical aid, Alfon, I can tell you that we just recently got a Le-Matoran doctor on our crew. I can perosnally vouch for his work, too. He actually managed to fit me with new fingers. I'd have expected us to need a Vortixx or something for that."The Toa of Ice held up his right hand, complete with fully mechanical digits. If it wasn't for the fact that the coloring was silvery steel instead of Madrihk's regular white and black, it would barely have been possible to tell the difference.
IC: Kodu"Okay." he said. He then walked up to Madrihk, and said "We are interested in joining."
"More new team members? Splendid. I am Madrihk, Toa of Ice and leader of this crew. And you would be...?"

He refused to scratch for fear of pain."Nice digits, though. That's some pretty fancy work, like you said. I trust he's cleaned up any infection at the ends? Wouldn't want you to be left with one hand and the title of Captain Hook. You'd have your hand full with that (see what I did there?).""Speaking of which, you need a break. Always working, asking questions, answering them, writing papers, blah blah blah and so forth. I say you and us deputies have a drink when we're free."OOC:  Preferably when my vacation's over. • OOC: Like Lorax said a while back, let's wrap this pillow fight up.IC: Payiges'Alright, guys, let's call it a day. I think we can all agree that I won,' she said proudly, pointing to herself, 'Seeing as I walloped all of you.'IC: Zealokan'Oi oi,' He said, standing up and swiping pillow feathers off himself. 'You didn't get all of us.' A pillow to the face, curtesy of Payiges, soon changed that.A muffled 'Okay, NOW you got all of us.' emerged for behind the pillow.
IC (Dekuna): "Hail Payiges, Queen of the Third Great Pillowfight" Dekuna cheered jokingly. "Congratulations. Now you and Mimira can fight for the title of best pillow-warrior in Le-wahi".
IC: (Uar)"Now that this is over, I still say we investigate this "hidden lines" business..." Uar said, thankful that this madness was finally over.
IC (Dekuna): "Allright. We should go and look at the obelisk and discover what we can, but first I'd like to go and continue our 'investigation' in Ko-wahi, so that I can repay those Skakdi. Ever since I joined this team, I've been thinking a lot more about honour and duty, so I'd really like to clear that mess up".OOC: I would do those in the opposite order, but I don't really want to wait a month for Nuju to get back. Let's do other things in the meantime.

  • OOC: Okay, HOW MANY characters are around DJ, Mariko, and Atvin right now? I have NO IDEA... Oh dear...IC: Draeverian JoskiirThe trip had been rushed, and at one point Draeverian has heard the faintest sounds of the ko-matoran sentinel's shells ringing across the snowy cliffs. Just great, He had thought, Now I've made myself an outlaw to the only place I want to save. The powder crushed and melted into bog at the base of the mountains, the grand jungle spreading outwards in all directions as a mass map of cawing and chirping, bellowing and grunting. Images swam before Draeverian's eyes, glad to seek refuge in the mind of a blind convict. From guess work alone, Draeverian followed Atvin's jaunting frame through the swamp-filled underbrush, whisking through the reeds with Mariko just in front. Draeverian was bringing up the rear. Despite his mask of fate, he had received a powerful dosage of pain from the avalanche, and the mental stabs of psycho-emotional terror from his battered partner Rivet was enough to make him lose his footing on occasion, plopping face-first into murk. By the time the trio met Alfon, an unknown toa with a quirky voice and bad quips, at the gates of Pala-koro Draeverain looked more like a toa of mud than anything, his purple trimmed armor of silver now saturated in jungle grime.I thought this was going to be easier, Rivet. Draeverian grumbled inwardly, hoping for some remorse on the part of his smarting compatriot turned antagonist. In the last four months I've cheated death too many times, killed more matoran than I can count against my will, and what for it? What duty have I garnered by being a failure?Yup. You suck, Drae."Some medical aid, maybe?" Alfon offered somewhat coyly, to Mariko, who had done an excellent job at a horrible first meeting as Draeverian sidled up next to the toa of earth, smelling very much of Mariko's fouler forms of control."A bath and a forge would be nice," Draeverian said, a sputtering of filth flying from his lips without his notice as it plastered itself against the side of Alfon's mask, leaving a brown streak on an otherwise spotless surface.

  • OOC:I'm thinking that with all the people coming through, Pala-Koro needs some more huts, an inn, and maybe a harbor (see that little inlet near Lake Pala on Katuko's map? The only inconvience is the mountain terrain nearby, but some "terra-forming" by a Toa of Earth could dig us a tunnel or create a small pass. Nuju really picked a bad time to leave, seeing as all the mysteries and the Turaga rehabilitation depend upon him, so this is one thing we can actually work on a lot.IC: Cy watched Vorok start levitating a tree out of the ground. It was all too clear that he was getting bored. Striding up to Kethrye, he said, "Hey, Kethrye, I'm thinking that with this influx of people to Pala-Koro, that it might be a good idea to expand our buildings. We seem a little short on huts in my opinion, and an inn might be a good idea for us to house travelers. A harbor would also be good for trade, so if we can build one in short distance from the Koro, it could really help the ILS grow it's resources enough to defeat Makuta. Do you think I should get some Toa started?"

  • Aparangi pushed a low-hanging leaf out of his way as he moved along a narrow path leading through the thick Le-Wahi jungle. The Toa was eager to get to the village of air; yet he forced himself to move slowly. There was a difference between hurrying to get somewhere faster and plainly being reckless and running into something he was not prepared for. Who knew what Rahi lived in these jungles. According to the tales he had overheard during his brief stay from the Matoran there, mainy of the beasts were tainted by the shadows. So he moved slowly, until he would find Pala-Koro.
IC: As Aparangi worked his way through the jungle, a strange-looking bird appeared nearby. It had the torso of a Toa, but it had a tail instead of legs and wings on it's back. It's head was also that of Toa's wearing a Kanohi that was rather avian. Suddenly the form began to shift. The tail disappeared, and the wings moved down the back, changing, revealing this being to be a Toa. Hopping down from a tree, his mask changing to be completely featureless and white, even seeming to lack eyeholes. The Toa turned to Aparangi, and at the same time a Skakdi emerged from the foilage. "Allow me to introduce myself. Excuse me for following you without some form of notice, but we happened to observe you talking to my old friend Miraul. About a subject of some interest to myself. A murderer sheltered by the one called Madrihk, if I overheard correctly. I always do, I assure you, for my hearing is quite excellent. So it begs the question, what are your intentions for this Madrihk?" Though it was the Toa who spoke, the sounds seemed at first to come from the Skakdi, and then the general location of Aparangi's mouth. This being, whoever he was, certainly enjoyed toying with people.

  • IC: "T-Tawara?.. It's just my neighbor..." Gyren shouted weakily as the Matoran hid in the treetops. The young Toa seemed eeriely pale as he stood up and slowly pulled up the rope ladder and concealled the backdoor with two large leaves. Gyren looked to be in pain as he walked past his collection of Rahi skulls. He sighed and collapsed onto his small bed in another room of the hut. The Ba-Toa turned and laid on his back. The small creature that had latched on to the back of his neck seemed to throb and grow bigger."At least you already paid me for this." Rilan muttered as he inspected the blade of one of his machetes. Satisfied with the sharpness, Rilan sheathed his blade and sat down in a crude, wooden chair. The Ta-Toa had a small frown on his face as he waited for Gyren's guest to enter.

More buildings were certainly needed, and a dock would ease travel between Pala-Kora and elsewhere while also providing a place to store the boats the group had used previously. "Vompran or one of the other Toa of Jungle could also help provide wood for construction ".Signing, he trying to formulate and answer that would satisfy Zyke. "Kiloling things is not our primary goal, and there really isn't anything for you to do along those lines right now. However, if you really feel the need to help, you could give Cy here a hand expanding the settlement. That's a order, actually ". He switched his gaze to two more new arrivals conversing with Alfon.
