OOC: Jikal's eyes are still green, though he is in control. :PIC: JikalJikal looked straight at Kinika. He would have to be dealt with first. After all, he probably believed Jikal to still be hostile.OOC: Alright, Snells, this post does contain a fairly major bunny. But since I think you would agree, I am performing it. If you have an issue with it, PM me.IC: In a matter of minutes, everyone was loaded up in their previous positions, the only change being Krayn was now on Destiny. The group took off, following Tillian.OOC: Group to Le-Koro
IC: Tawara, Ta-Ga BorderTawara drew and knocked another arrow after firing.OOC: Filler, I guess, but I had to put something here.
OOC: Last post for the night.IC: JikalJikal stepped into the open, unaware of the danger before him.
IC: Raion & Kitsune, Ta / Ga BorderRaion heard the distinct twang of a bow string, and acted accordingly. Leaning down, hand outstretched and splayed, he slammed it in the ground, causing a wall of earth to shoot up infront of both him and Jikal, just thick enough to take both arrows."Calm down, Tawara. Jikal's back." He growled, clearly showing he wasn't happy about the fact.Kitsune rushed foward as the wall of earth sunk into the ground from whence it came. Reaching Jikal, she threw her arms around him in a hug. "I'm so glad you're alive..." She said inbetween quiet sobs. "Are you both okay?"
IC: Jikal"Um, yeah I'm okay...." Jikal carefully hugged Kitsune back. His Mark might have been weakened, but it was still active, and he didn't want to harm Kitsune. Slowly, his eyes began to tear up as he remembered what Iris did. "I'm so sorry. I'm...... So sorry."Jikal shook slightly, as he silently cried.
IC: Tawara, Ta-Ga Border"Oh... er, and, I'm -- I'm sorry about those arrows," Tawara mumbled. Then she remembered why she was there."Guys! Gyren's injured -- I think he's dyin'! We need to get him to a hospital. Are there any places closer 'an Ta-Koro?" At this point, the fabric wrapped over the Toa's wounds was clogged red with blood.
IC - Kinika - BeachKinika almost ran again, but heard the words "Jikal's back" and realized the enemy had some sort of split personality. Kitsune ripped herself out of his arms and ran forward, sending him back, down into mud. Sighing, he slowly stood up, brushing himself off. He backed up, throwing his hands into his pockets and turning. He began a quiet walk back to Ta-Koro.His job was done.
IC: Gyren sat up as he felt the sticky wrappings on his chest. The pain-killers helped, although he was still bleeding copiously. He looked down to his chest, unsurprised by the injuries he sustained. "That's a large amount of blood, probably internal bleeding as well. I suppose I should be more worried, so I guess we should head to Ga-Koro and find a healer. Or something." Gyren said as a smile formed on his face. However, he coughed up blood as he finished talking.
IC: Kitsune & Raion, Ga / Ta BorderRaion, who had previously been standinga away from the rest of them, stepped closer. "He looks bad. I know a girl in Ga-Koro, she's a healer with a Mask as well. Don't know if he can make it 'till then, though." He said bluntly. Kitsune continued to hug Jikal, managing to speak between sobs. "It wasn't you, Jikal... I know you'd never do that... It wasn't you..." She managed to say as she continued the hug.
OOC: I'm pretty sure Ga-Koro would take days to reach from the Ta-Ga border, looking at the map.IC: Tawara, Ta-Ga Border"How long would it take to get to Ga-Koro?" Tawara asked. "And you should rest," she added to Gyren.
IC: JikalJikal was only dimly aware of his surroundings, other than his present conversation. "I couldn't stop him." Jikal replied, his voice bleak. "Try as I might, I couldn't stop him."
IC: Kitsune & Raion, Ta / Ga Border"I know... But you tried, and that's what mattered..." Kitsune said."Luckily for Gyren, the aforementioned friend of mine lives only a day's travel from where we are. Very outskirts of Ga-Koro. Unfortunately for Gyren, I'm not sure if he can live that long." Raion said calmly.
IC: Jikal"But I failed." Jikal answered. "What if he had decided to refuse that Iron Toa? What if he had decided to kill you, instead of handing you over?" He shook his head slightly. "I mean, the only one who might have been able to stop me, I mean him, would have been Raion!"OOC: What word slip? I don't know what you are talking about.
IC-Dragou:Dragou sighed, walking through Ta-Koro. Honestly, he had nothing to do right now. He stepped over to the bridge, floating himself over where it was. He looked over to the Charred Forest, and shook his head. He stepped away from it, walking over towards where the small dock encampment was. When he got there, he noticed quite a few things. Some of the buildings had been damaged, there was driftwood floating in the water, and there was a body or two around. He would have helped, but he didn't know how. He grabbed his small canoe, before allowing himself to drift down over by Le-Koro.
OOC: Okay, I'm gonna assume Xiela and Vearal are still here in Ta-koro XDIC: Xiela - Ta-koro -Xiela watched as Laserbeak left her and Vearal behind to go rescue there friend, which was fine really, Xiela was fine staying in Ta-koro for now. She looked at Vearal, who still seemed out of it. Xiela sighed, Xiela was the one with the fever...yet Vearal seemed to be the one out of focus here. She went up to her and slapped her lightly a few times, to shake her out of it. "Come on Vearal, snap out of it!"
IC: VearalVearal dimly looked at Xiela. "What am I going to do? What have I got left?" Her eyes were dim and hollow.
IC: "Jaller can probably point us in the right direction," Tarotrix said. He had a feeling Mevi had came to recruit him. And since Ta-Koro was getting boring, he figured he'd lead the Guard in the battle."I'll come with you two. The guardsmen need some leadership."IC: "Well, Taro, I think it would be wise to start going to the Captain," Aryll said, trying to hide his impatience.
IC: Kitsune, Ta / Ga Border"We're just going to have to be more careful next time. Past is past, Jikal." She said as she wiped away both her and Jikal's tears.
IC: Jikal"But what can we do? I don't know when I'll... He'll go on a rampage. We can't prepare for what we can't predict." Jikal's eyes were dim with despair. "And if I can't stop him, what can anyone else do, short of killing me?"
IC: Kitsune, Ta / Ga Border"I don't have any answers, Jikal. All I know is that we have to be careful, we have to make sure we never give Iris an opening." She said.
IC: JikalJikal nodded, but he didn't seem convinced. When he looked around, all he could see was destruction. And he knew that it was his fault. No, Iris' fault. He corrected himself. Or is it my fault?
IC-Corik:Corik had met back up with Gykehl and the newly-awakened Lii. He hadn't found the Akrainid, and neither of the others seemed to have either. He shrugged."Well," he said, "I stopped by the guard post not to long ago, and they gave me a notice saying to go over to Ga-Koro. Turaga Nokama was taken, and Matau, but they want me to go to Ga-Koro first. Wanna come with?" He asked them, hopefully.IC-Dragou:Dragou pulled up on shore-he was finally in Le-Wahi, and he was certain that Le-Koro wasn't very far away. Time to head over there.OOC: Dragou to Le-Koro.
OOC: Thankyous.
IC: Lii"Yes!" the Toa of Heat said. "Yes-yes-I've-always-wanted-to-got-to-Ga-Koro-can-we-go-Gykehl-please-please" puppy dog eyes "Please-plea-"IC: GykehlShe was promply cut off by Gykehl absorbing the sound coming off of her. "Yes, if you allowed me to speak."The Toa of Sonics turned to Corik and said, "The Turaga, kidnapped? When did this happen?"
IC: Xiela - Ta-koro -"Well, we have...had Darien....and you got me." She said, sounding slightly hurt.
IC: Vearal"Yes, and that is all I have." Vearal replied, her eyes watering slightly. "Everyone else I know is dead, my work in smoke...." Then her expression turned to panic, and she looked at Xiela. "Don't you dare leave."
IC-Corik:"Naught but a few days ago, I fear," Corik said. "It was dictated unto me that the Turaga disappeared ere the eve of the pirate's napping of old Onewa...yet I fear that more is at work than a lowly band of pirates." Corik frowned morosely, before snapping his head back up."Come," he muttered quietly. "Let us be off."OOC: I literally have no idea why I wrote that.
IC: Xiela - Ta-koro -"Don't worry, I wouldn't leave you, even if I could." She said with a reassuring smile. "Besides, I wouldn't get very far with this fever."
IC: Vearal"Fever... Fever..." Vearal repeated dimly. Then her eyes lit up, and her trademark scowl returned. "Blast it, Xiela! Why didn't you remind me you had a fever?" She hauled herself onto her feet.
IC: Xiela - Ta-koro -"I'm fine..." Though then she coughed...which made it less convincing. "Just a headache and a little achy really..."
OOC: ...And I have no idea what Corik just said.
Well I do, but.IC: Lii"...What?" she asked, it was probably the slowest sentance that ever came out of her mouth.IC: Gykehl"Yes, let us be off," he agreed, and followed Corik along with Lii."So, Ga-Koro. I have not been there recently, has it changed much in the last fifty years?"
IC: Vearal"Liar." Vearal replied, still scowling. "We're going to get you to a doctor." She looked around. That is, we would if I knew where I was going...
IC-Corik:"Not really, besides a few Tarakava raids," Corik said, shrugging off Lii's question. He twirled his axe boredly, a rather impressive feat considering the size of the weapon.
IC: LiiThe Toa of Heat watched Corik twirl his ax around. Because her swords were as tall as she was, she had trouble doing anything like that.Lii was bored, she hadn't spoken a word in over ten seconds... And so she occupied herself by super-heating her hands, watching them glow and pulse as she added various amounts of heat to them.IC: GykehlThe Toa of Sonics nodded, and ignored Lii's flashing hands. "I take it Nokama was kidnapped during one of these raids?"
IC-Corik:"That is what is believed to have happened," Corik said, coming up near the guard post near Ga-Wahi. He waved over to the guard on duty, and he boredly waved back before burying his head in a book.OOC: Corik and Co. To Ga-Wahi. ![]()
IC: Xiela - Ta-koro -"I believe Laserbeak said something about taking me to somewhere called Lavapool Inn, before she ran off anyway...you think they got doctors there?"
IC: Vearal".....Okay, where's that?" Vearal managed to both look confused, and scowl at the same time. She had perfected the art of scowling.
IC: Xiela - Ta-koro -"Let me think...I am a scout after all, I had to memorize many routes...." She closed her eyes and try to recall if she ever seen this Lavapool Inn. "I got it...I think it's just a few blocks that way!" She said, pointing. Then she sat down, she'd forgotten how tired she was with the fever. "I need to stop overexerting myself."
IC: Vearal"Alright." Veral bent down, and picked up Xiela, before setting off in the direction Xiela specified.
IC: Xiela - Lavapool Inn, Ta-koro -With Vearal carrying in her, they made it too the Inn rather quickly, as it wasn't that far off, as Vearal stepped inside, Xiela noted how nice the Inn was.
IC: Madrihk, Mevi"You haven't been there yet?" Madrihk asked as he entered the conversation. "I knew you guys would be slow on foot, but come on."A rather surprised Mevi was about to say something, but Madrihk cut her off."Reordin has already made an arrangement with the Sanctum Guard," he continued, "and he was a Matoran on foot as well. I'd think you would be done sooner. But never mind that, we are going now.""...What's been going on, Madrihk?" Mevi asked. "You seem stressed.""I'm not stressed so much as annoyed," the Toa of Ice replied. "The people left at Lake Pala have been growing impatient, and even with some new people to speak to they kept pestering me with questions about when we would get going. I used my Kakama as an excuse to get the heck away for a little while. I guess they can handle themselves without their leader for a few precious hours."He waved his hand dismissively, to end discussion on the subject."But let's go speak with the guard captain already," he said.IC: "Jaller can probably point us in the right direction," Tarotrix said.
