IC (Dekuna): "Good plan" Dekuna said, getting up and grabbing his toa tools. "Let's get this done." He went and payed the inkeeper, and then set out through Le-koro with the rest of the team following behind him. He stopped by the hut of a medic in the gukko force to get a few things looked at before they began their journey up into the mountains. "Rama hive" he said to the green-armoured toa, by way of explanation."Ah, say no more" the doctor replied. "I've seen plenty of you through here since yesterday. His mask of healing began to glow, and after half an hour, the worst of the team's injuries had been lessened greatly. While he couldn't do much for internal damage, he closed up surface wounds, lessened pain and sewed bones back together. When the Hau Karda left his hut, Dekuna thought they were ready for the climb."Off we go then" he said cheerily, glad that he was going home, at least for a short while, and started walking north through the forest.OOC: A bit of bunnying there, but the consensus was that we needed to leave, so I just did it quickly. If anyone has a problem with that, PM me and I'll edit.OOC: Hau Karda to Ko-wahi.OOC: Hatann from Onu-wahiIC (Hatann): "That's not a bad plan" Hatann said, once Rockosis had finished telling it. "But we can't rely on it too much. Circumstances could change, no to mention the difficulty of finding our target"OOC: What is the plan?IC: (Uar)"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get going!" Uar said to the group.
IC: [Gunner] - Le-Wahi Waters, Infernavika"Excuse me, captain," Gunner said as he landed on the Infernavika's deck with a resounding THUD! His clothes had been rendered a hapless mess, his armour was now even dirtier than before, and his mask was still stained brown with dried blood, "But it seems you forgot a rather important part of the ship behind."IC: [Plagia Simul] - Pala-KoroPlagia, still exhausted from the day's events, tried to find a nice, shady place to sit and rest. Eventually, she managed to find such a spot on an overturned log, by the village's edges.OOC: Plagia open for interaction.-Void
OOC: Kaerhi from Onu-WahiIC(Kaerhi): "Just shoot the wrench in the chest with an arrow. Clean and quick."
IC: Song"Oh, no sparring?" Song pretended to pout. "Alright. I guess I can let you go today."
IC: Raknar (Infernavika, Le-Wahi)"I'm pretty sure you keeping your hands off me is a worse fate than not sparring for a day," I pointed out with a roguish wink. God, what a girl.-Teezy
IC: "It would seem my life's story is...difficult to understand. But what of yours?" Optimus asked the two who were speaking to him.
IC(Leena and Stalav)
"Oh, it's pretty exciting-interesting, but I don't have time to speak-tell about it," Stalav says to Optimus. The Matoran decided to stay quiet...The Le-Matoran looks over the muscled frame of the beibng in front of him before asking,"Talk-tell me, do you spar-fight much?"-Mef Man
IC: "I have been in too many battles as it is. I do not seek conflict, but it will always find me. And so, I do not need to spar." He sighed, wishing it were otherwise.
IC(Stalav)
"What about a work-job?" the Matoran of Air asks Optimus. "Do you have-own one?"-Mef Man
IC: "Not in your conventional sense. I work to fend off evil, and to help the innocent and weak when I can. The best way to do that at this time is to join the Island Liberation Squad, which I and my team, the Aukati, have already done. We will take part in the next mission, when the need arises." Much better than fighting a millenia-old war with the Decepticons Phantoms. Or so he hoped.
IC: Lasinia"Yay, everything's fine and dandy now. So, what next Captain Skakdi?"
IC(Stalav)
"Karz, I was going to give-offer you a job as my body guard," he says simply. "But...it looks like that isn't work-happening..." Now Optimus could see why the Matoran had asked so many questions. He was trying to hire the being.-Mef Man
IC: [Ril]"Say Kethreye, when did we have a sudden influx of sadists again?"
IC: "If you wish, and have a special reason for it, I can assign a bodyguard to you. Four more of my team pulled in just now."Roadbuster, Topspin, and Leadfoot walked in, Topspin carrying the unconscious Dino."What happened while you were away?""Dino uhnoyed uz. Weh knocked 'im out." Optimus scratched his nose in frustration. "Do this again, and you will be knocked out."
IC(Leena and Stalav)
"Please tell me you're not hiring these losers," Leena whispers to Stalav before turning away and walking toward Pala-Koro. "I'll get the leader for you.." Stalav turns back to Optimus and his friends before asking,"Do you have a...wise-smart one in that group-squad?"-Mef Man
IC: "Perhaps, though the wisdom varies. Dervian is a kind, smart, and resourceful soldier...but in no condition to fight. He will be available in two weeks, assuming he suffers no injury." He looked at Barricade. "Barricade is a former Phantom who knows how evil beings work, once being one himself. Though he is prone to...wisecracking, for want of a better word, he is strong and intelligent. Dino is a proud, but smart fighter with precise efficiency.""And us? Hoy, ya forgot!""I do not believe you would want a description from me." Optimus said, coming closer to humor than he had in years.
IC(Stalav)
Stalav impatiently taps his fingers on his elbows; arms crossed. This would be a bit harder than he thought...Looking toward Optimus, he asks,"Who do you suggest-propose?"-Mef Man
IC: "Dervian would be ideal...though he is in no condition to fight. Dino is unconscious at this time. You could wait for him to arise, or choose Barricade. However, I will only allow it if you have good reason for their assistance. Why is it you seek the services of the Aukati?"
IC(Stalav)
"I talk-told you already, I need a body-guard," came the reply from the Le-Matoran. "So, if you could give me one, I'd be willing to pay for their services."-Mef Man
IC: Kethrye -"Uh, this morning, or early afternoon," Kethrye said to RIl, patching one of the burn sections of a building with a spare piece of wood. "Don't remember any other "influx of sadists:, though. Unless you mean Voriki, but he's hardly a "influx"."Let's hope Madrihk's thought up of a way to prevent incidents like earlier from happening again, he thought. A way of organizing the recruits should go a long way towards that goal.
IC: [Ril]"You guys need to set up some sort of hierarchy soon," said Ril, hammering in a plank of wood. "With so many people, it's difficult to keep a leash on everyone, and you need some form of disciprine."
IC"This is not a looking-recruitment ground, Stalav." Laki said. "This is where the ILS has made-placed their base-area. We are here to help-serve Mata-Nui, not you."
IC: Kethrye -"Point," Kethrye replied, fumbling and causing the hammer created by Onyx when they were first building the village to drop and bury itself within the muddy ground. He cursed faintly and returned the tool to his grasp before continuing. "The this group gets, the more people are required to keep everyone in line." He aligned another nail with where the plank needed to secure the wood and began beating it in with a thump, thump thump."Besides, considering our objective you'd have to be crazy to try and aid us."
IC: [Ril]"I was originally in just to see if you guys were crazy enough to succeed. Seems like you guys are. I just hope you're less psychopath-crazy and more super determined-crazy."
IC(Stalav)
"Excuse me, Brakas-fool, but I wasn't speak-talking to you," Stalav says to Laki. It was odd that the being knew his name, but most in Le-Koro did anyway. And, he was also a pretty stuck up being at that. Did he think he was better than anyone, let alone Stalav? The poor fool...-Mef Man
OOCLaki's a Le-Matoran.
He used to live in Le-Koro, so I'm actually using your char's fame!IC"I was before-talking to Optimus before you talk-butted in. I think I deserve-have a right to speak-talk with you, especially if you are recruit-using members of this-my team-group." Just saying those words have Laki a rush of happiness. He was part of this group. It made him feel powerful.
IC: Kethrye -"It's a mix of both, I think," Kethryre said, chuckling despite his somber mood.
OOC: I didn't ever say what race Laki is, actually. Brakas is a derogatory term, not his species. ![]()
IC(Stalav)
"Aw, 'da wittle Le-Matoran thinks he's invincible-untouchable because he's with a band-group?" Stalav asks, talking as if he were babying the Le-Matoran. "You bore-tire me," he adds before turning back to Optimus. "So, do you have someone chosen-picked yet?" -Mef Man
IC: [Ril]"I hope you have more super determined-crazy people then."
IC: Kethrye -"I'd you'd out-way any number of complete psychopaths, my friend," Kethrye said with a grin. "How did your journey to Ta-Koro go, anyway? It seemed like you could have barely made in it so quickly. . ."
IC: [Ril]"Well Ta-Koro now knows that Vakama is back, and I also left a message telling my bosses that I am now the liaison to here."
IC: Kethrye -"Seeing the reaction on their faces was amusing, I'd bet" Kethrye said, propping up a exposed loose beam by nailing in a scrap piece of limber before patching the hole in the hut with wood.
IC: [Ril]"Yep," he replied, replacing a piece of support.
IC: (Enara)The group had been through enough to forget about her. Good. She slipped through the crowd, her cloak's hood pulled over as to conceal her face, and followed the Hau Karda, which looked like they were going to Ko-Wahi. How the Karz am I supposed to capture a Toa of Ice there?.. Guess I'll have to think of something... she thought.OOC: Enara to Ko-Wahi.
IC: Optimus walked between Laki and Stalav. "What would resemble Brakas is your bickering. I would ask that you stop." He turned to Laki. "Thank you for standing up for our rights." Though he had never actually put Laki in the Aukati, he figured that he may as well do so now. After all, it was no longer a solely military group. He turned back to Stalav. "I asked you not what you needed, but why you needed it. Why is it you request a bodyguard? And I cannot say. Dervian cannot be chosen, despite the fact that he is ideal, due to his injuries and position as Aukati representative. That, assuming you believe the boisterous trio is stupid, leaves two choices...if you can prove that you want our help for good reason. We do not have infinite time nor men. The proud, yet smart and skilled Dino. Or, the smart and strong Barricade, whose drawback is his behavior resembling a wild teenager." OOC: He's just not that trusting anymore, after all his experiences and the Nemesis Prime incident.
OOC: Sorry for leaving you hanging, I didn't get the time to write any more posts yesterday.IC: Madrihk"Ayra's your name, then?" Madrihk said, looking at the female Toa. "Before you go, I want to thank you for your efforts to contain the fire. I would not have expected an essential stranger to work herself into unconsciousness for us."He adopted a quite serious look."I don't know if you saw what transpired earlier, but if you did, then please understand that we are not barbarians. We just need more... discipline, amongst our newest members. Things are in turmoil after yesterday's war and the unexpected events with Turaga. Having a crazed arsonist try to kill us all today just set the weaker-minded ones off."The Toa of Ice presented his hand to Ayra as a friendly gesture."Anyways, thanks again. I hope you'll return here along with Ledzel and your friend once you find him. I'll hopefulyl have everything better organized by then."
OOC: Oh right, well, we'll just assume seating-arrangements were made accordingly then. ^^IC: Sisk nodded, grinning back at Leah and Verdi over his shoulder. Leah in turn winked at the other Matoran sharing the saddle with her. Sisk squeezed Skyscratchers sides and the bird lifted off, rising high fast and turning to the south in a wide arc.Without Rama or other Rahi to worry about for the moment, the Gukko flew quite fast and just for fun, Sisk pulled him into a roll halfway back to Le-Koro, when they passed over a small lake. It got a chuckle out of Leah, who even let her arms hang freely over her head while inverted, just holding on to the saddle with her legs. After the little stunt it was just a few more minutes until the treetops in which the village of air was hidden came into view. There more Gukko in the air around them and Sisk took his position in the holding pattern until the controller waved at them, giving them permission to land. When they touched down, they saw that the Gukko Leah had commanded were already being unloaded. Medics rushed by, carrying the injured from the attack that hadn't been flown out earlier. Leah sighed. "We lost so many good people...I hope it's worth it in the long run." Sisk nodded in understanding. He remembered the rear-gunner that had sacrificed himself to rescue his crewmates. After a moment of silence he snapped his fingers. "Come on, let's not long-linger here. We must find Lans."IC:OOC: Hey, VF, I think you mean Verdi was banished by Lashev. Kal and I agreed that Lashev would have middle seat this time. :PIC, Verdi: Verdi's face turned a bit red as he climbed onto the seat, behind Leah. "Uh, okay Sisk, I think we're ready," he said to the Le-Matoran.
OOC: Understandable, I am darn busy as well this week. Hoepfully things will be easier by the weekend.IC:Mariko turned to Draeverian. "How's the leg?" he asked the Toa of sonics. He didn't want his companion to struggled with a broken ankle longer then he had to.IC: Atvin"I'm going to need the same thing as Mariko." Atvin gestured to the odd Toa. He couldn't wait to be freshened up and get a warm bed soon.OOC: Pardon the short post. They'll be like this for the next few days.
OOC: Arkrak and Incommodo from Kumu Islets.IC: [Arkrak]"So, what should we do first?"OOC: Continuing on discussion. That's a good idea. We've mostly been part of either TDC's plots or your plots. Time for my plots.
IC: IncommodoIncommodo sat in a rowboat, with Arkrak. "Well, this is fun. But the water at the bottom of the boat is tickling my feet."
IC:"Water doesn't really tickle that much," he replied. "I'm rather used to ..."The water around them exploded, and a blue being rocketed up onto their rowboat, standing up with its arms crossed. It focused its eyes on the duo, and after several seconds of silence, it finally spoke in its monotone voice."Good morning."
