IC: Incommodo"Oh, so it is. Imagine that."
IC: [Arkrak]"Yes it is. Now let's just go somewhere else. Like Le-Koro."
IC: Sideways (Le-Koro):Sideways beckoned for his company to follow him to a bar, The Drunken Huntsman, Then sign above the door said. Sitting down in a booth in the corner, he dissolved the last illusion in Ta-Koro, then put up a sign illusion in Le-Koro.
Can't find a job suited to your tastes?
Better at swing a sword than a vine?
Come to The Drunken Huntsman, and look for Sideways,
For riches and glory untold!
Sideways then looked at Grata.
"I'm sorry for this Grata, but it needs to be done," The illusion-Matoran said.
Sideways used his Mask ability to create another illusion around Grata, now making him look like a Green Avak.
OOC: There, that should be enough to keep the Guardsmen off our backs. Anyone who's looking for Grata, you wont reconize him unless someone says his name now that his appearance has been changed.
IC:Quoribay sat down at the booth and looked around. He twiddled his thumbs, taking the occasional glance at his comrades. After a while, he sighed. This is boring, he thought. "So what is our first mission going to be when we are finished with recruiting?" he asked, attempting to eliminate the awkward silence.
IC: Sideways:Sideways nodded.
IC: Raknar (Infernavika, Le-Wahi)"Alright, now let's get outta here," I said, watching Grochi depart. "Doomslayer, bring us home.""Cap'n, why is Grochi being such a PARTEE PUPIEHED?""Your guess is as good as mine, buddy. At least he was fun when Desde was around..."-Teezy
IC: Song"Agreed!" Song shouted from the hammock she'd set up next to the mast, about halfway up.
IC: Raknar (Infernavika, Le-Wahi)Quick as a flash - and as bright as one to boot - I was on the hammock with Song, grinning like a madman and sighing in relaxation."I do hope you don't mind one more occupant on this little hammock of yours..." I said with a wink.-Teezy
IC (Grata):Grata looked at his new armor and grinned."Sorry?" Grata said, "You saved Grata, why sorry?"
IC, Verdi: Verdi nodded. He walked with the others to Kongu's office. Verdi peeked inside. "Lans is still in there," he whispered to the others. "Why is he taking so long?"
IC:"I'd really love to play kid, but unfortunately..." suddenly, Aparangi's body changed, black bone-like spikes erupting from his back and shoulders. Ziraul had to take a step back and remove the knife to avoid getting pierced by them. "...I don't have the time to suffer fools." he finished. The spikes retracted back into his body, until the Toa looked just normal again. "I was asked to look into the place they call Pala-Koro and their leader, to see what they're up to. So that's what I am going to do. Is that enough in line with your interests?"OOC: He seriously wouldn't just come forward with having been asked to kill somebody that easily Tabby. Gotta play my char like he would actually act.
IC: [Gunner] - Le-Wahi Waters, InfernavikaGunner, still sore and exhausted from his time in Le-Wahi, didn't even come up with a scathing, nor snide remark to hurl at anyone. Rather, he schlepped his way down below-decks, to his quarters, which, technically speaking, were not actually 'quarters'. Rather, he was currently sleeping in the storeroom. At least he had a bed. And a comfortable one at that. Although, a particular Ta-Matoran from Xa-Koro probably wasn't going to be very happy to see a large empty space in his quarters, were said piece of furniture once sat.Allowing himself a small grin at another's expense, Gunner shed his coat and hat, and sat down at the foot of the mattress, trying his hardest not fall asleep.-Void
OOC: Oh. Oops. XDIC: "I meant tell me your reason for needing extra protection!" Optimus yelled at Stalav, loud enough to be heard before he walked away. Then, he turned to Laki. "The evidence certainly suggests it." Another true statement slightly resembling humor.
IC: Tuaka had been sent by Vorasku to scout Pala-Koro. He flew his Gukko towards the village, and once he got there, he flew in circles around the village. He lowered the altitude of his flight, attempting to obtain information about their plans.OOC: Open to interaction.
IC(Byraher): Byraher glanced at one of the tables in the empty hut. It was covered with drawings and maps of Le-Wahi. Byraher picked one up and studied it for a few seconds. Rama hive? Why would they have maps of the Rama hive here? She tossed the map down and continued to investigate the hut.
OOC: I just realized Mef Man will be gone for a few days, so no point for me in waiting for his characters to respond.
IC: MadrihkHaving finished the conversation with Ledzel and Ayra, Madrihk was left with relatively little to do. The fire damage was being repaired, the recruits had calmed down, and only organization and mystery solving remained. The Toa of Ice couldn't help but wonder what the strange black obelisk could be referring to in its inscription, and what it had to do with the Rama hive in the first place. People had been sent to investigate that, though, so all he could do himself at the moment was to send the guy with the Mask of Psychometry after them.I'll do that later, Madrihk thought, as the stress and tiredness from the past few days finally began to catch up with him. Maybe I can finally get some rest around here. Doing good deeds yet being evil yet acting good all the same takes its toll.He walked over to the largest hut in the small village, which the ILS used half as storage and half as leader's office. Madrihk had his own little room with a bed there; and while it had barely been used due to all the things that had happened, it was there all the same. Now the Toa of Ice felt like resting for an hour or so before continuing his work on organizing his little band of misfits.Hopefully they won't wreck the village again in the meantime, he grumbled in his thoughts, just as he pushed the simple wooden door open and found himself looking at a Vortixx he did not recognize at all. The female was apparently looking around the hut, and not in a way that made it seem like she belonged there. Please no, Madrihk sighed internally. Not another problem."Why, hello," he said calmly, not wanting to appear aggressive. Still, he mentally prepared himself for any startled action the Vortixx might take.
IC: As Optimus waited for Laki's response, he called out to Tuaka. "You appear to be lost. What is your business here?"
IC: Tuaka saw that he had been noticed. He quickly increased his altitude, and caused his Gukko to fly away from the village, not wanting to risk an attack.
IC: "Well, I thought he was comin' to rob the place so I sorta," Rilan began mumbling as he scratched his chin and looked the other way. "Threw my machete at 'im and nearly took off a hand." The ex-pirate chuckled sheepishly as he said this.
ICLaki squinted at the fleeing gukko with a suspicious eye. "It seem-looks as If he is flee-running. Is he bad-recognizable? Do you dark-know him?" "Or is he dark-enemy of all ILS members?"
IC: Lerongu looked up at the fleeing Gukko. "He doesn't look like anyonw I know of." he said in response to Laki. Meanwhile, Tuaka made his Gukko fly away from Pla-Koro as fast as he could, looking to meet up with Vorasku.
IC: "He is someone I do not know. He fled either because he is shy, or he is an enemy, as you say. I fear the latter may be true, taking recent events into account." He watched him fly away. "But we will be ready..." Or so he hoped. "What brought you to the Island Liberation Squad?"
IC: Incommodo"Hmm... okay."
IC: [Arkrak]"So are we going to continue stumbling through the jungle."
IC: Incommodo"Unless you have a better idea."
IC: [Arkrak]"Yes I do. We find a main road and head to Le-Koro."
IC: Incommodo"Okay." Incommodo looked around for a main road, only to find that they were deep in the jungle. There was a nice cave nearby, though.
IC: [Arkrak]"Let's go spelunking. I have a pickaxe."OOC: Plot ... BEGIN.
OOC: It takes so much effort not to suddenly create a plot...I have a plot device. Not a plot. But it's a thing. Like a plot. But with more brilliance. You control the plot.IC: Incommodo"Yay! Spelunking!"
IC: [Arkrak]The duo entered the cave."Let's start digging."
IC: Incommodo"Why dig when you can-" Incommodo was cut off as he walked forward and fell into a pit. Panicking, he grabbed his blades and stuck them into the walls, the friction slowing him down. "I THINK I CAN SEE THE BOTTOM!"
IC: [Arkrak]Arkrak threw a rope down. "GRAB ON!"
IC: IncommodoIncommodo let go off his blade in order to grab the rope.Unfortunately, that meant that he now had only one blade, and was falling again. "AAGH!"
IC: [Arkrak]Except Inc was holding onto the rope, which Arkrak was holding onto tightly.
IC: IncommodoIncommodo started trying to climb up the rope, and managed to grab his blade. "That was close. I nearly lost Edward."
IC: [Arkrak]"You named your weapons," he said in a deadpan.
IC: Incommodo"A lot of people name their weapons."
IC: [Arkrak]Arkrak paused, and a shiver passed down his spine as he remembered something from long ago."Hello there Arkrak~! I would like to introduce you to my best friend: Cúsétantalugdeichtineconchobarmacnessa! Today, he'll be helping me teach you how to not die when hit by giant pieces of solid protosteel~!"The Toa of Sonics curled up into a fetal position. "Notthefacenotthefacenottheface ..."
IC: IncommodoHowever, you can't hold a rope and curl up in a foetal position at the same time. "KARZKARZKARZKARZKARZKARZKARZKARZKARZKARZKARZ!"
IC: [Arkrak]This snapped the Toa of Sonics out of his reverie, and he quickly grabbed onto the rope, and pulled back as far as he could.
