OOC: Ah, much better.IC-Zato-Ichi:Zato-Ichi swung his bokken down, though he took the hit anyways. He followed back with it, to make sure he wasn't hurt too badly, though it still hit the wind out of him as well. As quickly as it had been pulled out his Shikomi-zue was placed back within its sheathe as Zato-Ichi stepped back."I have taken blood," he said. "Now your honour flows freely, as did the Vortixx's. I am done, there is no need to kill you." He bowed to Flin, trusting him to take the honourable course, accepting his defeat.
iC: Zacax and DeusuiZacax and Deusui continued to look for a place to to stay, this place looked the same....all the hits and platforms were the same green color, and it made it hard to identify any hut from another.
IC: Wraith - Ga-koro -Wraith followed Seven, keeping up with her with ease. "Where are you going?"
IC: Krian"They were stolen, no doubt about it. But it wasn't supposed to happen. She was supposed to use them like oars to fuel her journey to our world, then give then back. Obviously she didn't." Krian scowled again. "She doesn't know how to get them back."
OOC: Sorry, man.IC: Flin"People like you are going to get stabbed in the back if you give free hand-outs such as this." Flin commented with mild disgust. Still, he was indifferent if shedding blood was considered a victory; this fight wasn't his idea nor did he feel the need to pursue it."You're lucky I don't kill people unless it's necessary. We're done here."
IC: Zacax and DeusuiZacax and Deusui kept walking around, jeez this was like one big glop of green.
IC-Zato-Ichi:"You're lucky I don't do the same, Toa," Zato-Ichi said to Flin. "Be more careful to follow a better path, and we may never meet again except as friends."
IC: Dujour (Fruit Stand, Ga-Koro)"I want my oars back."-Teezy
IC: Zacax and DeusuiZacax and Deusui found a frut stand and went to it, might as well grab some food. Zacax saw some beings chatting, something about oars?Deusui got some food for the two of them and paid for it and then asked the beings next them, "do you two know where an inn is?"
IC: Flin"I doubt any of the two will happen." Flin said, obviously amused. "I don't do 'honour' but I know my moral code and it just so happens it falls on the better side of things, surprisingly enough."OOC: Sure you don't want to take another whack at it? I'd tone it down.
IC: Krian"Join the club. It's a very exclusive one, there are ink about eight of us. And one's dead."
IC-Zato-Ichi:"Try to stay out of fights, at least," an exasperated Zato-Ichi said as he quickly left.IC-Beatha:Betha was done training with his Nagamaka, and so he turned, looking to the crowd. There weren't too many people, except...yes, one who was morosely walking away, one Beatha remembered seeing in Tillian's house, that other Toa of Fire...not Jaron, so...who..."Skyra?" He thought out loud, though soon shook his head-that was the Le-Koro Lieutenant. No, wait, think, the files..."Havon!" He called to the Toa of Fire. "Why so dim? You were burning brighter than ever before!"OOC: Minor bunny. Sort of.
IC: Havon - Casa Juturna, Ga-koro -Havon looked at Beatha. "Well, a young girl kinda just got killed..."
IC: [The Seventh]"On my own adventure. Call me when you need me."
IC: CrocThe last chunk of shark meat Croc swallowed up satisfied his hunger and would for a long time, only needing an intake of food every so often. With lunch taken care of, it was time to go pay Ga-Koro market a visit to make some profit."Anyone feel like coming with me?" he asked, already packing the wrapped-up Takea meat in his bag.
IC: Yuan"I suppose I'll come. I've got a few blades to sell." Yuan stated, finishing his food in a single large bite. He stood, and moved over to his wares.
IC: Croc"We'll walk to Ga-Koro instead of sailing...I'm not in the mood to risk seeing any more deep-sea predators." Croc explained, shuddering slightly at the memory of the few milliseconds of air time the shark had before it clamped onto his body."Barth, feel like coming too? Might be some maps or juicy info we'll pick up once we're there."
IC: "Sure," replied Barth. "I need some adventure, anyway. Info? Methinks not. This is Ga-koro we're talking about. They don't gossip."-Bane
IC: Croc"Fair point." Croc chuckled. "Looks like we'll have to settle for the typical local news and maybe the odd rumour. Those are hard to keep down." Croc slung the strap of the bag filled with meat on his shoulder and slowly began trotting out of camp and towards the gates of Ga-Koro."Any plans on where we head next? I've had a bit of an itch to check out Onu and Ko recently."
IC: "Onu-Wahi definitely," replied Barth. "The dark is my favorite place to be. Reminds me of home." He scanned the skyline. "It's also a place where the sun doesn't hurt my eyes. It'd be a welcome respite."-Bane
IC: Croc"I figured you'd say that, being Qem. I think the change in scenery would be nice but I'm going to miss the water..." Croc replied, passing through the gate and into the village's residency. Ga-Matoran villagers took note of them, a few stared since a trio of Akrainids was an unusual sight."It's been a while we've been underground anyway. Personally, I prefer the baking sunlight of the desert any time but hunting in the dark's always been one of my favourite hobbies."
IC: Yuan"Anywhere that isn't Ko-Koro. I hate the cold." Yuan piped up, his wares making metallic noises as they clinked together.
IC: "So where should we sell our wares? The docks would probably be a good place." Barth looked at the slowly growing city as they approached. "I wonder what's happened since we came around last time. Probably the old runaround. Someone probably raided the place... again." he said.-Bane
IC: Denerium - Fruit Stand, Ga-koro -The Turaga ahemed to get the attention of Krian and Dujour. "I don't know anything about oars, but I do everything there is to know about fruit!" Denerium took a watermelon, levitating it with his mask to put it on the cutting board in front of him, and then promptly sliced it in half with a huge knife, sending watermelon juice everywhere. "Now you say this angel-winged lassie stole your souls, and even if you find her, she don't know how to give them back. I have a solution!" Denerium pulled out several pears, and sliced them into tiny bits, and put them into a bowl. "With the right ingredients, you can lure your souls out of her body and back to you! Here! Eat this fruit salad I just made! I call it, the Fruit bowl of soul returns! You eat this stuff, and the next time you see this winged lassie, your souls will come flying out of her and back to you! There's no way any soul could resist such an incredible dish!" Denerium had a wide, sorta crazed smile.
IC: Dujour (Fruit Stand, Ga-Koro)"Wat."-Teezy
IC: Deusui"Is there an inn me and my friend can stay in? Or are you new here two?"
IC: After the 5 bio in the forest, Garren was partially lost. He began to head into forests, following what he could. Now he had to think like Vitiate. He thought for a second. Now where would an evil overlord hide my swords if he wanted to test me? Oh yes, in the most dangerous part of the wahi. He's either going to kill me, or have me survive the jungle. Either way, I follow his obtrusive scent, and the undergrowth he disturbed. He headed into the wilder forests above the waterfall where statuists had carved the face of Gali long ago.OOC: Kal, are my swords in this koro, or did you mean Rahi?-Bane
IC-Vitiate:Vitiate sat back in his hut, sipping tea. Soon, if he knew the way, Garren would run into the first nest of Rahi, near the waterfall. And that he did-As Garren walked, a poisonous snake-like creature, immune to electrical attacks, jumped out at Garren, moving to bite him.
IC: Croc"Docks are for boats and hard work, the marketplace is where we want to be if we're selling Takea meat." Croc grunted, steering them into the business of Ga-Matoran bartering and shopping. He took a good whiff of the air and could practically smell the profit they'd make."All right, I'm going to be busy with the fish market so until then, feel free to go about your own business."Without waiting for a reply, the lumbering Akrainid ventured deeper into the crowd and began bartering with shop owners and buyers alike, searching for the best price to sell his wares for.
IC: Kitsune, Ga-Wahi Forest"Since I wanted to be." Kitsune teased, giving no solid answer. "Besides, since when where you so... unresponsive?" She asked, refering to the kiss. As she finished speaking, she once again batted her eyelashes.OOC: Writing this post got me thinking. Do Toa even have eyelids, or eye lashes? Perhaps their eyes are like their sets's eyes, just blocks of crystal.IC: Jikal"I never said I didn't have social skills." Jikal said with a grin. "Just that I didn't use them often.""And since when are you that fast?"
IC: Jikal"It hadn't quite sunk in yet. It happened so fast, I'm wondering if it actually happened." Jikal teased.
IC:Rewera frowned slightly. "Again with the daydreaming?" she asked Ravage, who apparently was thinking about something to the point where he hadn't heard the female Toa talk to him.
IC: Garren dodged with the speed of a panther, shoving off a tree to backflip back towards the snake. He ignited his hands, and plunged them at the head of the snake. The snake simply shrugged him off. Garren, shocked at the sudden change in the food chain, dodged as the snake struck out in retaliation. Garren still had his claws, however, and dealt the snake a heavy blow to the jacobson's organ. While the snake was distracted, he struck out with an oxcart punch to the jaw, aided by telekinetic power. If it worked, the snake would go flying.Barth looked around, then began to follow Croc. "So where in Onu-Wahi do you think we should go? a trip to the metal forges would be good for all of us. Yuan looks like he's running low on metal, anyway."OOC: Kal, I'm treating this like a semi-NPC battle-Bane
IC-Vitiate:Vitiate left the hut, boredly going back to the Koro. He had felt the drain on his mask end, and so he knew that the body had dropped. Time to see the resulting carnage. The first snake went flying, but as Garren turned around he would notice three more snakes coming for him, with multitudes more hanging from the trees. He would have to leave quickly, or kill the patriarch of the nest.
IC: Garren breathed a sigh of relief. But it was very short lived. Many more snakes had come to join the first, and Garren would not escape so many. His telekinetic blasts would not hold out in such an onslaught. He would have to find a way, though, or he would become scrap. He slashed at several snakes, scarring several of them, but only holding them off for so long. He swung into a non-snake-infested tree. He stood there for a second. One snake seemed to be leading the rest, directing them by sending slight tremors through the ground. He would have to kill that one. He flipped off the tree, and landed in front of the new snake, amazed by it's size. The snake was twice as long and as wide as the first snake. It lashed out it's tail, threatening to crush him flatter than an ussal crab. He rolled, dodging the sweeping tail, and stood, panting for a second. When the second swipe of the tail came, he jumped onto it, balancing precariously on the tail. He ran up the back of the snake, dodging the head that was trying to bite him. When he got to the head, though, his claws could not penetrate it. He stabbed again and again, but could not gain purchase. After a moment of thought, he straddled the snake, digging his knees into the back of the head. He rode the snake, guiding his head towards a nearby tree. He jumped, pushing with telekinetic force so that the snake would take the full force of the impact. Best case, the snake would be dead, it's head crushed by the impact. Worst case, the snake would only be momentarily stunned. Garren stood, waiting for a response from any of the large, brutish snakes.OOC: I'm assuming that these are giant snakes-Bane
OOC: If you want.IC-Vitiate:"Why yes, thank you," Vitiate said, taking the glass of wine he was offered, before walking through the rest of the Koro. Even in his old age, he still preferred the taste of wine over anything else. Funny. He stepped into the cafe where Jaron had gone last. There, on the floor, were the pitted and rusted remains of the Toa of Fire, horrified beings watching all around. The spirit had finally consigned itself to oblivion. Vitiate smiled, nodding at Agzinel, who looked rather sick.Well, no more Iden user to help his plan, but it wasn't really needed. Vitiate held out a hand, the dark space within the hood of his cloak glowing slightly, barely, as the armour came together again, joined by purplish energy in lieu of flesh as the specter of armour came back together.Vitiate then walked out, Jaron's body following him.The large snake crashed into the tree, though instead of being stunned or dead, the tree cracked, toppling over. The large cobra-like snake turned back, hissing, though now Garren would notice that one of its eyes was missing.
IC: Angelus (Cafe, Ga-Koro)"Nuh uh. No way, compadre."Angel whipped out his sword and began running towards the group at large, swinging his weapon and conjuring a burst of fire that hit Jaron's body, causing it to burst into flames."That body's been through enough."-Teezy
IC-Vitiate:However, the flames were soon left with no fuel to burn-they snuffed out quickly. Vitiate looked over to Angelus, his mask and face still hidden by his hood. He whipped his sword out quickly, deflecting Angelus's blow."And what if I am merely taking him back to his grave?" Vitiate asked, calmly, still sipping his wine.
IC: Angelus (Cafe, Ga-Koro)"I can cremate him. Give his ashes to Tillian and his group. They'd know what to do with them better than me."His hands flared with fire once again."Or you."-Teezy
IC-Vitiate:"While that may be true, I happen to know where his grave was. And there's nothing to cremate-melt, surely, but I doubt they'd want a bubbling pot of molten metal. Please, allow me to do my civic duty and remove this from the presence of others." Vitiate then stepped past Agzinel, Jaron's gauntlet patting the other Toa as the body passed as well.
