IC: SkrihenSkrihen grinned at Reordin. "Alfon thinks he could take me. In the middle of a celebration. You want to hint at how wrong he is, or should I just tell him?"Skrihen glanced at Alfon. "Fine. But no one else gets through that door."
IC:Kethye nodded at Alfon and Reordin as he bolted the door locked again. "Good to see you all.""So yeah, Skrihen has a glowing emotional eating mark bonded to her, and there are more beings like her out there somewhere," he said, recapping the conversation so far. He shrugged, the current topic did not seem like something to pursue at that time and place, there were bigger question on his mind. "Let's discuss something of more immediate relevance: What do we do now?" Kethrye said, sweeping his gaze around at each of the rooms occupants. "We've succeeded in our first real objective, destroying the Nui-Rama's hive, and have almost doubled our number of members. what's our next move?"
IC: Reordin (Pala-Koro, Le-Wahi)"A. I knew that," replied Reordin. "B. I think we need to start asking ourselves why we're limiting ourselves to Pala-Koro. I mean, sure, we've got a pretty quality group of members here, and at this rate we'll be larger than Xa-Koro, but...at the very least, an outpost in Le-Koro to help with a constant train of supplies would be useful."-Teezy
OOC: I assume you know that the only definition of "going commando" (as far as I am aware) is "to not wear underpants"."Everything. This time, we're going commando."
IC(Ledzel)
"Sooo...may I come in?" Ledzel asks from outside of the building.-Mef Man
OOC: Pffffffffffffffft. Hahahahahhahahahaha. That killed me.IC: Reordin (Pala-Koro, Le-Wahi)"We won't be the only ones looking at Xa-Koro," pointed out the Ko-Matoran. "Corporations, peacemaking groups, organized crime...everything has influence in Xa-Koro. It'd be a tense situation at best."-Teezy
IC: Skrihen"Yeah. The more joy there ism the stronger I am. But by extension, grief counteracts my Mark." Skrihen explained, before grinning."So wait, you're suggesting we take over Xa-Koro?"
IC(Byraher): Byraher sat on a small tree stump next to the lake. She adjusted her hat to help with the glare coming off the lake but it was still pretty bright. Lake Pala really was a beautiful sight. It reminded her of Ga-Wahi, with the trees and sounds. She was listening the birds sing as if they were right beside her. She heard a Muaka growl and it made her jump a little. Her hearing was a blessing and curse wrapped into one. She could hear trouble from far off or the sound of an arrow placed at a string. But she also could hear things she didn't want to hear. Murders commited and evil things spoken to name a few. Byraher sighed and held her head.
IC: Alfon"I'm coming." I said, opening the door and ushering Ledzel in before locking it once more. "We'll talk later, this is pretty important." I explained, giving him a quick crash course on Skrihen's mark and the team's next plan of action before questions could be asked. I really wanted to hear Madrihk out without interruptions.
IC(Ledzel)
Ledzel nods his head before leaning against the nearby wall. He stands at attention, thinking it wise to stay quiet for now.-Mef Man
IC: Madrihk"Take over? No, there's no need to put ourselves in charge. We can, however, strongly influence groups to join our cause. Here in Le-Wahi, we managed to draw people from all over the island to help with the Nui-Rama hive. Due to the aftermath, we also have a few other groups that can be said to be our allies. The Gukko Force, the Hau Karda, the Aukati and this... Armageddon Squad. Maybe not all of them are as useful as Le-Koro's main force, but they are on our side, and that's what important. We're going to need the whole island mobilized if Makuta is ever to be defeated."Madrihk fetched an island map from the nearby table and tapped the Kumu Islets with his finger."There are a lot of criminals down here in the south. Xa-Koro is home to outcasts and criminals, but we must ask: why are they outcasts? Theft, fraud and murder - or perhaps just social reclusiveness - are probably the big reasons. I am not saying that we should attempt this without firmly securing our own integrity to prevent hostile influence... but if we can twist their violent potential towards Makuta's minions like we've done with D, and if we can appeal to their lust for profit by making them understand how much more easy it is to do business without an evil shadow being in the way... well, then we could rally even Xa-Koro's inhabitants under our flag."He paused for a second as an idea occurred to him."Speaking of which, we're going to need one. Every Koro has its mark. We shall need ours."
OOC: I know. That was intentional.
I was wondering if anyone would catch that. :PIC: Von flipped over the wall, and landed, barely missing a group of conversing ILS members, and slipping back into the group. Bane wanted him to be a spy, and so he would be. He just hoped no one would notice Bane's, Secer's, or Kali's absence. He moved towards the one room that the deputies kept moving towards. He slunk around the back, anxious to catch a few words. He heard one: Xa-koro. He slunk back into the shadows, confident that no one had heard him.OOC: Von didn't hear anything else. He knows nothing about Skrihen's mark, nor anything else.-Bane
IC(Ledzel)
"I say we put your face on a flag; then, in big letters, put 'MADRIHK' under it," Ledzel jokes. "It'll be brilliant."-Mef Man
IC: Skrihen"I want YOU to join the ILS," Skrihen quipped. She looked back to Madrihk. "Dunno what we could do for a flag, though."
IC:"Don't ask me, I'm not the freaking art guy," Kethrye joked with a shrug of his shoulders. Or the doorman."Restoring order in Xa-Koro sounds good, though," he said, raising his hand to his chin. "Have to leave some of troops to keep things running here, 'course. D probably knows who's actually in charge there, would come in handy."
IC: Zacax and Ambera"Yea it is," Zacax said, "But why Nui it in tr trees? I mean it's awesome, but why?""I dunno," Ambera said, "Rahi?"
IC: TawaraTawara tore the parasite away once again, this time slamming it onto the floor, ripping it open with her knife and stomping on the remains until all that was left was a smear of goo and torn armor. She rushed over to Gyren's dresser, took a tunic, folded it into a small rectangle and pressed the wad of fabric against the wound. A sash tied it in place as tightly as could be safe for the Toa's windpipe. The Matoran threw open the door, closed it behind her, and ran along the catwalk of weathered boards. When she arrived in the main village, she looked around and began asking for directions to the hospital.OOC: Open for interaction. Assume Tawara asks your character about the hospital.
IC: Aurel:Gathering her wits, Aurel replied, "Maybe the view?"She looked down at the jungle floor for added effect, quickly backing up from the edge in fear of falling off.
IC: ZacaxZacax looked down, he didn't like heights and scooted back a bit, "Guess running isn't aloud," Zacax said,IC: Calebos and TahukamaThe two entered the elevator as it made it to the ground, and went up tithe top.
IC: Aurel:Aurel nodded in agreement, then in sudden realization, "Oh Karz! We left the fourth behind!"
IC: Zacax"We also left Corex too!!!!!" Zacax said realizing as well, "Oh Mata Nui!!!!"
IC: Aurel:She tilted her head to the side, not sure what to do, "Should we head back to Ga-Wahi to get them?"
IC: Zacax"I don't know!" Zacax said, "Well Fourth said she wanted to visit family so I guess she will be fine, Corex is going on an arrend,"
IC: Aurel:"You should probably go back and get Corex," Aurel suggested, "Besides, I want to stay here for awhile, see if I can find a way to get any widgets."
IC: TahukamaRight on cue, Tahukama came up with Calebos and Calebos exited the contraption, Tahukama didn't,"Whats wrong Tahukama?" Calebos asked,"I'll be returning to Ga-Wahi," Tahukama said,"To get Corex?" Zacax asked, "I will send him to you, it's time for you Zacax to take lead, like you already have. I'll be on the island, but I will only come," Tahukama said and pulled the lever, "When you truly need it," and after he finished, he went back to the ground.
IC: Aurel:
Was the face she made at Tahukama as he went back down."He loves to do that, doesn't he?" Aurel asked Zacax.
IC: Zacax"I never understand him," Zacax said, "He isn't trying to be dramatic, but he always leaves, and rarely returns...and after I thought he was dead..."
IC: Aurel:She simply yawned and turned back to the village, "Maybe he's a batman or something... Anyway, maybe we should look around for, you know, a job?"
IC: Madrihk
"Of course I am," Madrihk grinned. "This isn't about me, however, but about the ILS. People must know that we want to liberate the island, not trying to conquer it ourselves."At least not directly, he added in his thoughts."I say we put your face on a flag; then, in big letters, put 'MADRIHK' under it," Ledzel jokes. "It'll be brilliant."
"I know Ferrin was one of the big smugglers and mob runners in that area, but he's dead, and I'll admit I know little of the rest of the village. We will have to stake out the Islets before we move in. Wouldn't want people to think we are planning an attack, either."IC:"Restoring order in Xa-Koro sounds good, though," he said, raising his hand to his chin. "Have to leave some of troops to keep things running here, 'course. D probably knows who's actually in charge there, would come in handy."
IC: Zacax and Co."I guess, don't know where though," Zacax said, "It's just two female Toa, one make Toa, two Toa of fire, a Toa of lightning, three who have fire and one matoran,"
OOC: "The Wolf" from Kumu IsletsIC: (The Wolf)The Wolf had finally returned that place known as Pala Koro, hmmm he hadn't expected much better defenses than these. That wasn't to say that the highly built walls and gates weren't a good choice. It was that he saw some glaring issues with it's design that could be fixed with just a few small changes. Well that would be a good way to get his foot in the door. She was a safe away but ended up retreating even further after he had scanned the fort all the way around, moving from tree to tree, he had stopped behind one in particular.Taking the case off his back, he set it down on the ground, popping it open. Inside were various clothes for him to wear, but for now, he'd leave his cloak and just go in his armor. First he pulled the slacks, to reveal, lithe if rather feminine dark green legs. The dress shirt and vest came off next, the cloak still obscuring his head and upper chest. The hood pulled up and he untied the cloak, dropping to the ground to reveal a rather feminine looking Matatu. Then the voice came spoke from the lips."This is going to be a cakewalk." She chuckled. Ensuring that her armor was all set up right she straightened parts out, her armor was not bulky but rather was tight and clung to her figure, giving her a seductive allure, one that she had used when she needed. Grabbing a dagger from the case she slipped it around her hip. And took a few deep breaths, she had gotten so used to playing "The Wolf" that he felt like another part of her. She'd play the role of Kiara, a playful gal who made some rather intelligent observations and was skilled in stealth. She could play up the role with just enough sass and smart-aleck behavior, just like the hundreds of others she had taken. Her master would be so proud by her plans. She walked out from behind the tree and began the long walk back towards Pala Koro. Approaching she sighed, noticing that the doors were closed and sighed."Hello? Is anyone home? Hello! Hey, am I just talking to a wooden wall here? HEY!" Kiara growled. Good, she was already relishing her new character.OOC: Kino is the real person, "The Wolf" is one of her personas, and "Kiara" is another. It might get a little confusing, but hopefully not too much.
IC: The sudden shock of the Parakuka getting ripped away from Gyren's neck had severe repercussions. It had just bonded to him, and thus when it was torn off and killed the young Toa died with it. His body lay there, cold and void of any life. For Gyren, death came suddenly and painfully as he felt the hooks get torn from his flesh and having his mind shattered as the parasite was smashed into a fine pulp.
IC: [Plagia Simul] - Pala-Koro, ILS HQEdited: Plagia, still bored, continued to pace around the village."There's another problem," Plagia stated bluntly, suddenly on the inside of the large building to the surprise of most of the occupants, "You just said that most of the inhabitants of Xa-Koro are criminals, rogues, and recluses. I've spent a fair amount of time dealing with those types of people. I have my doubts that they'll exactly let a bunch of do-gooders into their home, arms open."-Void
IC: Roadbuster looked at the other Matoran. "Oy! Wotcha complainin' about?! Karz yeh!" He just couldn't hold it in.
IC: Alfon / OnyxI sighed in irritation upon noticing Plagia blatantly intruding on this conversation, also due to her eavesdropping. This place is already crowded enough as it is and I find it disturbing to see people turn up coincidentally at the perfect moment...I'm such a hypocrite. I think we'll have to establish a few privacy rules here and get around to making a few signs..."Do-gooders or not, few will take us lightly now that word spreads of our victory over Makuta's Hive. Besides, Xa-Koro never welcomes anyone with arms open; you only enter if you dare and it just so happens we're no different from regular folk. If anything, there's no reason why they should hold violent intentions directed towards us, except the odd Makuta fanatic here and there. By destroying one of big baddie's most important symbols of power, it could be considered a favour or a warning, resulting in a warmer reception...most of the time. ""It's not like we're going to make a grand entrance and attempt to impose our presence in a direct, loud and rushed fashion. That's like saying "Hi, we're invading your home and going to make a few change-ups." where people usually end up on the meat market for that. If you want to make an influence there, you have to start off small, be discreet and slowly but surely make your way to the top. In the end, what would worry me the most is the competition Reordin mentioned."-Onyx picked up on a certain voice with an attitude emanating from the other side of the gates, obviously wanting in. Simply from the first impression he got, the Fe-Toa rolled his eyes in disgust and was sorely tempted to content himself with leaving the woman at the door. It also made him think of her as some hotheaded nobody with too little patience."All right, all right, don't get your tongue in a knot." Onyx yelled loudly, creating a small eye hole in the iron gates and peering into it. "Impatient, aren't you? You may be hot but you're not too bright, sunshine, if you think that attitude's going to improve your odds of getting in. Who are you, what do you want and why?"Say anything smart and I'm going to lock you out...I dare you.
IC-Kal:Kal, meanwhile, stood now beside Onyx, suffering from boredom and hoping this might alleviate it.
IC(Byraher): Byraher realized she never really had the chance to see the gates for herself. "That's happens when you sneak over the wall..." she said to herself. It was weird to walk around in a village, without wanting to steal anything. She wasn't sure if she liked that feeling. She neared the gate and decided to watch what was happening, instead of interfering.
IC: (Kino Iho as Kiara)"I'm sorry, I didn't see anyone at the gates. I thought if I yelled really loud I might someone's attention." She paused for a few seconds, looking visibly sheepish for her transgression. "My name is Kiara, I came here looking for a group called the ILS. I heard about how you guys and gals managed to take down the Nui-Rama Hive. I want to help...listen I'm sorry, it just didn't look like anyone was manning the post, and I know that doesn't really excuse my tone. I want to help because well isn't that what Toa are supposed to do? I don't really have anything to my name either."Good apologetic, makes you look weak, looking for some sort of reasoning. Anyone can identify with that. Beings who want to belong. If that failed she'd just sit outside the gates, at least then they might admire the determination. She had to bite the sass down though. A grumpy guard would not appreciate it. If that didn't work maybe the shifts would change and a much more friendly guard would come by.
IC(Leena and Stalav)
Stalav shoots a glare at the guard before turning back toward Pala-Koro."You're paying for this Brakas?" Leena whispers. Stalav didn't say a word, his footsteps becoming faster and faster.-Mef Man
IC: [Ril]"You know, a rainbow coloured flag might work."
