BZPRPG: Le-Wahi

IC: "That outcome is inevitable. But not on this day. What is the next most important location to Makuta? I will suggest to Madrihk a possible next move, but I do not know this island as you do." Hopefully he could find a few on-and-off native guides, so to speak.

IC:"How so?" Mariko asked Atvin. He had moved on from his vambraces to the armor on his legs now. There was a lot of dirt there, wand the water around him was getting clouded by all the mud dripping from it as he scrubbed it away with his hands. "Apart from the obvious. Some of them behave quite unhinged." he added, looking up from his work for a moment. Truth be told, the dark Toa felt the same, but the Island seemed to be tainted by the shadow's corruption almost everywhere, making it harder for him to clearly make out it's servants.

IC: [Ril]"For now, I believe it is better to strengthen ties with the villages and the like."

IC: "Perhaps. But when the leader is cold and detached, with occasional bursts of anger, half the members are insane, a clone of myself was brutally and publicly tortured, half of Pala-Koro was destroyed and rebuilt to some degree, and the villages are in shambles and anarchy...that may not be possible."

IC: [Ril]"Long ago, before our family sort of cracked apart and shattered in millions of pieces, I was taught that one needed discipline to function in life. I didn't really listen. Then I got arrested and joined the guard."Ril smiled evilly."All we need to do ... is instill some discipline in this ragged group of misfits."

IC: "You sound too much like another I knew. One who operated on the same principles, before he fell. One I called a brother. "

IC: [Ril]"What, this place needs some sort hierarchy to keep it stable. And some discipline."

IC: OnyxOnyx regarded Kiara silently through the eye hole, surprised to see her drop the sass so quickly, only to be replaced by humbleness. Apologies had always been a courtesy the Fe-Toa took kindly to but he never enjoyed when they made others looks weak. It made him feel bad. Apart from that, her story seemed perfectly reasonable and the requirements to join the ILS weren't what you'd call demanding. Of course, anyone could craft a good lie and waltz in with an evil plan but Kiara was alone. She probably wasn't stupid."Come in." Onyx said in a lighter tone, opening the gates and allowing the newcomer to step inside. "Welcome to Pala-Koro. You're free to come and go as you please so long as you don't cause us any problems. If you want to join, talk to one of the deputies since Madrihk's busy."Onyx gave a quick description of each deputy so finding them would be easier."Sound good? I think they're in a meeting right now so it'll have to wait."OOC: You know what we should do? Put a billboard in the village where people write their names down to enlist like we did in Le-Koro at the beginning. It would be a lot more convenient.

IC: Optimus projected flames from his hand that he tried to keep in the shape of a flickering, ghostly image of Megatron. "Yes, but not through force, as you seem to be thinking, lest you become this on the inside."

IC: [Ril]"Nothing can't be solved with a proper application of force."

IC: Optimus sighed. "Megatron said those exact words once. You've met him, I believe. Do you really wish to become what you saw?" Dissipating the flame image, he awaited Ril's answer.

IC: [Ril]"Tell me. If one of your sub-ordinates went out of line, and refused to listen to orders, reducing efficiency and creating many problems, would you try to talk him down or punch him in the face? Which is more effective?"

IC: "I would start with the first, then assign him a punishment. If that fails, then demotion. Should it become necessary, I would follow up by discharging him from the team. Only if he first started to use physical violence would I resort to the same."

IC: [Ril]"Sometimes, when you need to get the message across quicker, physical violence works."

IC: "That is true. How often sometimes occurs, however, seems to be different in my view. I find that exploring all peaceable options that do not cost the innocent, uninvolved, or my team in any way before resorting to violence seems to work better, though it does require more will and effort."

IC: [Ril]"We live in a harsh world man. That's why we have to resort to more painful measures these days."

IC: Optimus bonked Ril on the head with medium force. "I believe that proves my point well enough."

IC: [Ril]"Yes it does," said Ril, rubbing his head.

IC: "As you can see, that would probably anger you, rather than make you more complacent."

IC: [Ril]"Because you are not intimidating enough."

IC: Optimus facepalmed slowly, then with equal slowness, brought his hand back down. He activated his spiked knuckles, created an aura of intense heat, activated his faceplate, and swung at Ril. "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"--then simply flicked his ear. OOC: LOL.

IC: Choi (Pala-Koro, Le-Wahi)At times like this, Choi realized just how nice it would be to have a hug. Then he realized how much he missed Dujour.Then he curled up into a little ball and put his head on his knees, just sitting and staring forward.-Teezy

IC: [Ril]"Uh huh."

OOC: ...are you serious? That's not intimidating when you see a guy 50% bigger create a load of flames and almost hit you with a deadly weapon?IC: Optimus stopped short. His jaw would have dropped if he hadn't been wearing his faceplate. "The Guard trains you well?"

IC: AelynnEventually, the Fe-Toa let go, and sat there hugging herself.

OOC: Ril's a bit of a stoic.IC: Choi (Pala-Koro, Le-Wahi)Should I try and hug her? I know the other guy did it, but they must know each other. If I try and hug her, SHE could kill ME...Choi just sat. And stared.-Teezy

IC: [Ril]"Nah. I just got beat up a lot."

IC(Byraher): Byraher yawned slightly. She was tired. Ever since coming into Le-Wahi, her sleep got all messed up. She wasn't sure if she should go pick a bed in-what-appeared-to-be-a-barracks. "Son of a Brakas...." she muttered as she made her way to the barracks. OOC: Byraher open fer interaction.

IC: AelynnAelynn ahem'ed once she notice Choi staring.OOC: :3

OOC: @Tyler, ah. Yes. Many of Hubert's chars are...difficult to startle.IC: "So that isn't very intimidating..." Optimus shook his head and retracted his faceplate. "I concede the point. However, I will not dress like Megatron in order to remedy it."

IC: Choi (Pala-Koro, Le-Wahi)"Hmm?" Choi asked, turning to the right to look at Aelynn. "Oh, uh...hi."-Teezy

IC: [Ril]"I would be intimidated if you decided to cross-dress, just for the creepiness factor."

IC: "I do not believe that would be the type of intimidation you spoke of." He thought for a moment. "Though I should not even be trying to intimidate others. Loyalties forged in respect without fear are the strongest, though the most difficult to form. I know from experience that they are well worth it."OOC: Out of curiosity, would that face in front of him frighten Ril at all?

IC: Aelynn"Hi........"

OOC: It'd frighten some of my characters, but not RIl.IC: [Ril]"I ... see."
