IC: VranaThe two cold eyes turned up towards Kaimaen, the unpleasantly piercing glare unnerving to most people who may see it. The black wings on his back curled aside slightly, revealing the taloned fingers upon his hands. He had a snarling frown on his face, but his sharpened teeth were not showing. For a moment, he said nothing, remaining silent. Then he spoke, not loudly, but it could be heard."Leave, now."
OOC: He's found us already! :PJust kidding, of course. Interaction is always nice. Oh, and Cadias is just a regular Toa. I better check his profile, though....IC: Cadias"One can argue that if you aren't doing something to contribute, you're simple taking up space. I doubt many things attacked the village, anyway. You know as well as I do that neither of us have been around Matoran enough to judge them."He looked at the new arrival. "One could ask you the same question."
OOC: Yo Kal, you ain't getting rid of the big guy that easily. ;)IC:Kehua had been dumbstruck by the other Toa for a moment. He had traveled pretty much all over the universe, but this guy had been a new brand of crazy for him. But the other Toa had suddenly and unannounced ran off, before he could decided wether that was a good or bad thing. But the Aitua was not about to merely file the encounter away in the 'weird things I've seen today' of his brain. And so, he followed the Toa at a safe distance and unnoticed, until he decided to stop another pair of travelers that had seemingly just arrived. Leaning into the shadow of a nearby floating hut, the Toa observed and listened. After all, it was always good to know something about the people you were about to interact with. The avian one for example, certainly didn't look like the sort that took kindly to having his path blocked by madmen with staffs. This was about to get interesting.
ICVerak opened his eyes. The adrenaline from his fight still hadn't faded, so he was having a hard time getting to sleep. From the lack of heavy breathing, he assumed most others hadn't fallen asleep either. "So." he said, "How long do you guys think we'll be stayin' together? When will this little party break apart?"No answer. Maybe his companions were very quite sleepers. He turned his eyes from the wooden beams that lay across the ceiling to see the rest of the room. Abandoned, except for Zacax' little brother, who's small chest was slowly rising up and down peacefully.Where was everyone? Verak stood up and rubbed his nose, before standing up, stretching and starting up the staircase to the ship's main deck. (Without replacing the armor he had stripped off earlier, of course) Verak opened the wooden door and walked out. The cool night air brushed lightly agains this bare chest, and he breathed in deeply. The air smelled of salt. Tooroko and that one Onu-Matoran were still fighting. He wished that at least one would consent. This ship was getting nowhere until the two were done. He did notice one thing- another member. A blue toa of water was here. Not very pretty, Verak noted. Ah well."Why do we have another passenger, may I ask? Why is she here?" he asked generally.
IC: Aurel (The Silver Keras):Aurel shrugged, "Because we can."
IC: [Treize]But Treize had already did so, having gotten onto her ship and moving it quickly towards the other ship.IC: [The Fourth]"Thanks."
IC: Aurel (The Silver Keras):Aurel grinned, "Awesome, now the difference of males to females is 9:4!"
IC: [The Fourth]"I believe the word you are looking for is 'ratio'," she said, getting on.
IC: Zacax"Whose the fourth, I only count you two and Ambera," Zacax asked curiously.
IC: Aurel (The Silver Keras):Aurel smiled and shrugged, "Where I come from, they don't have that word."
IC: Zacax"whose or fourth?" Zacax asked
IC: Aurel (The Silver Keras):"Did I say four?" A confused look spread on her face beneath her faxon, "I meant three."
IC: [The Fourth]"I have no idea what you're saying."
IC: Zacax"Me too," Zacax said with confusion.
IC: Aurel (The Silver Keras):Aurel sighed and shook her head, "Nevermind then. Welcome, to the deceptively verdant ship, The Silver Keras!"
IC: Corex"Karz," Corex complained, "when are we leaving this port? It seems like an eternity has passed since we arrived."
IC: Aurel (The Silver Keras):"Tooroko!" Aurel called out, "Finish up! We want to be able to leave, today!"
IC: Zacax"Cap'n, permission to sail the ship off to sea?" he asked his captain.
ICVerak squinted at the toa of water. "Alright. Who are you then, sister?"
IC: Deusui and ZacaxDeusui got off the boat, and decided to head off to Ta-Wahi,"Deusui were are you going?" Zacax asked"Ta-Wahi, your team is coming back together, I have to confront my boss if he figured out the lie," he said and then walked off, "Tell Verak he is the new cook,"
OOC: Rank? I don't think I ever decided.....IC: RalinRalin grinned. "Let's do this."
IC"Heyheyhey!" Verak said, "Come on, brother. We'll protect you from anything that could happen. I mean, you've seen me fight. What could get past me?"
IC: Zacax"I think he knows," Zacax chuckled, "And Verak get some armor on, it's not bathing time," IC: Deusui Deusui walked through the village on his way to Ta-Wahi, his friends would be fine, his mission was to protect Zacax, Zacax could handle himself, he was a team leader, he hoped that if Maho was alive, the others were too.
ICVerak looked at Zacax, "Yes, but it is nighttime. As in, why put armor on when I'm going to take it off a few minutes later, y'know? and that does make me wonder- why aren't we sleeping? Not all of you can be those 'stay up all night teenager types'"
IC: Zacax"Well Im used to staying up all night before my team was dismissed, always on the lookout, that's what my master told me to be vigilant, and to look after family," Zacax saidIC: Deusui Deusui made it out of the village and walked to Ta-WahiOOC: Deusui to Ta-wahi
IC-Kaimaen:"Ah...bird-being, I remember you...you were a great help, before, though as with I, the Matoran ignored you...we're too...off, for them, eh?" Kaimaen smiled, showing jagged teeth, and turned back to Kehua, noting the Toa's presence, when he turned back to Cadias. He straightened up to his full height, looking down at Cadias. "I help the Matoran," he said, his voice changing. "I live to help the Matoran, to keep them safe." Then he seemed to crumple inside, falling apart, hunching down again, his hands up, covering his eyes."But...they never thank me," he said, sobbing could be heard, slightly. "They never thank me, and it's so hard...so hard..." He hissed suddenly, grabbing Cadias, glaring into the Toa's eyes."You have it easy, Toa," he growled out. "They adore you. A broken being like me, they shun. They revile. I'm useless, I'm a defect..." He shook himself, stepping back again."But I want you to help me with something," the Toa of Lightning said. "A certain Toa of Plasma. You, bird-being, you might have known him..."
ICVerak looked at Zacax as of the toa had just turned into a Muaka. "You... Don't sleep?"
IC: Zacax"Rarely," Zacax said, "My master trained me well, he would stay up with me as a matoran when I started to train. He was like a father to me, we had fights, he got stern, but he cared and pushed me to my limits. He was a true father and master,"
IC: [The Fourth]"Well, what do you normally do?"
IC: CadiasCadias raised an eyebrow. "Are you.. all right? Have you been sick lately, or perhaps taken a blow to the head?"This being was odd. Not necessary because of the way he walked, but the way he acted. It was.... erratic. Unstable. And quite possibly dangerous. "Perhaps you should go lie down. Rest for a moment."
IC"Sounds awful," Verak said.
IC: Zacax"Actually...I enjoyed every moment with my father...when he died...I wanted to cry...but I was a leader, I had to be an example..."
IC"I was only joking, brother," Verak said, patting Zacax on his back. "I don't know anything about yer father figure. I'm sure he was a great man."He sighed and looked out to see.
IC: Zacax"He was brave, caring and wise," Zacax said, "Who was your master?"
ICVerak thought. "Myself." he answered, unusually serious. "Most reliable person I know."
IC: Zacax"You learned everything on yourself?" Zacax asked, "No one taught you anything?"
IC: [The Fourth]"Um, I'll just stand here okay?"
IC"I wouldn't say that," Verak's usual smile returned at Zacax's reaction, "But I didn't have a special master. I learned the principles of sand-control by myself, and honed my fighting by myself too.""And you do that," he told The Fourth.
IC: CorexCorex walked over to The Fourth."Yeah," he said, "I know how it feels to be left out. There have just been so many visitors to the ship lately that none of us have really taken much notice to them."
IC: Zacax"Huh...maybe in the morn you wanna go?" he asked the Toa of 'sand',
