IC: Vitesse
"It means rat." Vitesse said, seeing how well the name really fit.
IC: Kuma
"Better a rat than a mouse I suppose."
IC: Vitesse
Vitesse looked around at this group of Rahk.
An Anger Rahk, who seemed to be anything but angry. She was slightly surprised that he has lasted this long.
An Electric Rahk, who was missing all of his left appendages. No wonder, due to his annoying personality and the violent nature here.
A Density Control Rahk, whose name did not fit him whatsoever.
And a Rahk of hunger, who looke like one of density control. Guess he hates his powers...
The only one who seemed at least slightly strong was the Rahi Control Rahk.
Vitesse shook her head, wondering how the Karz they were all alive.
Granted, she had survived in a worse place than they when she was just as care free... No. She could not think of this right now. She took a quick glance at her pendant to stay focused on the now, not the past.
IC: Kuma
"Do any of you know whether we can get new suits if we lose ours? Or are these things really hard to build?"
IC: Blade
Blade Put Tooth In Between his Book Pouch and his Leg, "I'm not sure we can get new suits."
IC: Vitesse
"Oh, they're easy to make.... If you are a Makuta. As a Rahk, unless you want to hurl yourself into energized protodermis, you can not. Also, I am pretty sure that a Makuta would not give you a new suit even if it was half crushed. They don't care about us. We are their cannon fodder." Vitesse said, those last two sentences spoken with acid on the tone of them.
IC: Rider
"I picked my name because, once Claws gets bigger, I may be able to ride him."
IC: Shark / Team Doublecross / Visorak Wilds
Another hit, quite lucky at that. Fang had dulled much of the blade, so it was quite fortunate that Sidonas had run into one of the few remaining sharp edges. They were mostly around the tip, where the Surahk's grip had been relinquished, and that was just where a rolling miscreant would be struck.
But anyways. All that thought elapsed in a moment, the same moment in which Sidonas rolled away and Faithful finally made its way back to Shark. He hurled it weakly to Sidonas' left, such that it would almost immediately begin to return to him - and its path would take it through Sidonas' Kraata case from behind. Then he lunged forward with a wide swing of his unnamed sword, counterclockwise and down. Good luck to the idiot escaping injury this time around - duck or dodge left or right, and he'd face the unnamed blade; leap backwards, and he'd only be thrusting himself upon Faithful.

IC: Jayar / Fourth Tier
Jayar accepted Hoto's hug with relief, wrapping his arms around her gratefully. The last few posts minutes had been harrowing, and he needed this.
But some of the immense respite brought by Hoto's words and embrace was gone when she asked him to give Phogen a chance. Though physically he remained in Hoto's arms, he was thrust back into a mental battlefield between Phogen's glamorous influence and his own adamant resistance to its ensnarements. And Hoto, it seemed, was on Phogen's side. Being used, just as he had thought she would be. Karzahni!
He found that he had notably tensed with this inner battle, and forced himself to relax, bringing his mind back into reality, into Hoto's embrace once more. "...Okay..." he conceded, forcing as much irritation - most of it - out of his voice. "But... please, forgive me if I'm a bit skeptical. I'm still reluctant -" suddenly Phogen's 'awkward' words cut him off. He started again, trying to ignore the apparently accidental and yet likely quite intentional interruption.
"reluctant to fully trust her." he whispered. Probably in vain, a Derahk could pick up that sort of thing easily, especially one as devious as Phogen.
IC: Revenge-Gym
"I never knew that Rider."
IC: Blade
"Well, My name is from... Well, on the floor in my Makuta's lair, there's a Crack that looks like a Sword."
IC: Exxan - Backstab (Jungle).
"Can we not talk about losing arms, please?" I asked Kat, conscious of the steady trickle of fluid dripping from my own arm.
IC Kat:
I took a look at his wounded arm. "What, you didn't think of maybe binding it before wandering out here? Kinda only got yourself to blame for that, Exxan," I said, as we reached the clearing where the Crawler squatted. There Fang and Cao..... and Tridax of all people.
IC: Exxan - Backstab (Terrain Crawler).
"There's glass in my arm, dug under the armour," I explained, "binding the wound only would've pushed it in deeper, compressed the wound, broken up the glass, and made it all even harder to get out later on."
IC: Kuma
"You mean I'm walking around in a Kraata's corpse?". asked Kuma with a horrified tone and expression. "It wasn't one of, you know, our kind, was it? I mean surely they wouldn't..."
IC: Rider
Rider shrugged. "I never told you." He felt around for Claws, and picked him up.
IC: Vitesse
All this talk of names reminded her of the day she got her first one...
IC: Vitesse, A few months ago...
"But I don't want this name! Why not something poetic?" Vitesse asked, though then it was not her name. Rather, it was Phantom, a brutal name given to her by a brutal Makuta.
"Poetry? Pathetic. You are a warrior, not some scholar who wastes their life writing books. I will not have a Rahkshi servant with some absurd name!" Her Makuta yelled these last words, then hit her across the room. "Phantom" hit the wall with a sickening thud, then slid to the ground. *why was he so cruel?* She thought to herself. "Now get up! We have training to do..." The Makuta stormed out of the room. *I won't be named some sick, brutal name. But I can't think of a better one. But I will...* "Phantom" thought to herself. She reluctantly followed the Makuta, into the realm of Karzahni.
IC: Vitesse now
Kuma's words snapped her back into reality. "Unfortunately so. It is a Kraata's 'destiny' to transform into a suit. It doesn't make it any less morbid, though." Vitesse said, speaking quietly.
IC: Kuma
"Have there ever been any Rahkshi here that betrayed the Makuta?"
Kuma thought to himself: What am I saying? They'll kill me or torture me and do something even worse then kill me. Its my duty to serve them. No one else would ever accept me. But they killed sentient Kraata.
IC: Blade
"Its unlikely that there wasn't at least one or two." he said
IC: Kuma
"What would have happened to them?"
IC: Nightmare
"They are probably Punished somehow by the Makuta" He responded
IC: Kuma
"That's vague."
IC: Revenge-Gym
"Well, this school hasn't been around for too long, so I don't think anyone has actually tried yet."
IC: Vitesse
"Punished by disintegration..." Vitesse added, knowing how little tolerance they had for rebellion.
IC: Rider
Rider's Makuta had always been nice, and encouraged him. The thought of betraying him was horrible to him. Heh, sarcasm. He scratched Claws' back, and the crab licked him in return.
IC: Kuma
"Well, where's next on the tour?". asked Kuma, wanting to forget this morbid conversation.
IC: Revenge-Gym
"Right, lets get moving." Revenge turned and left the gym.
IC: Vitesse
Vitesse followed.
IC: Shock
"Y'know, the sludge could be worse," Shock said, eating his fill of sludge, after making it into a skull and stabbing it with his fork, where he got reprimanded for playing with his food by a random Rahkshi walking by.
IC: Stronghold vs Punch/Lighthouse
By the time Era returned the lighthouse was gone the battle between the two was more intense as each of them resorted to tactics that weren't melee fists and kicks. They began chucking rocks at one another. However, Stronghold's superiority in the art, regardless of his problems earned him a victory smack to the face. Punch held his hands up in the air.
"You win. I'll follow you to wherever you guys want me too."
Stronghold promptly escorted Punch to the cellar and put him in, remember to lock the cellar by covering up with rubble so it can't be lifted.
Punch looked at his teammates.
"Getting crowded in here, huh?"
IC: Nightmare
Nightmare didn't know whether the Slop could be Worse. It tasted better before when he was really Hungry.
IC: Shock
"I mean, let's think about this. We are provided food by a Makuta. He could utterly troll us and make it taste like poison or a kraata or something. But no, he just has it tasting only slightly disgusting. So kudos to you Tridax." Shock said, eating the remains of his sludge.
IC: Nightmare
"Ah. I don't think even Tridax would make it taste like cannibalism." he replied
IC: Shock
"Lets be glad Icarax doesn't run this place. Sheesh, imagine what he would do." Shock said, getting up.
IC Vaalku
Well, despite the fact that he was rudely shoved into a table, Vaalku was disappointed at Revenge's imperceptivity. At least this Rahk didn't want to kill everyone.
Vaalku quietly followed again, this time leaning on the wall and hobbling along. He didn't know what Karzing idiot decided to blow his leg off, but he was taking it in strides.
IC: Shield
Shield didn't reply because as Dane specifically stated, he was unconcious.
IC: Hoto - Malebranche
She sighed deeply. "I suppose... that's all I can ask for..."
None of it made any sense. He had been kind to Fang, Kat, and Era when she introduced them. She had never seem him acting so bitter towards someone. What was so different about Phogen... besides that she had been gone for months?
Hoto pulled back a little and turned her head towards Phogen's voice. "No, it's fine," she called out to her. "We were just... talking. We should be going to the... amphitheater. Do you want to come along?"
Maybe all Jayar needed was a chance to get to know him.
IC: Rain - Crawler (Team Doublecross)
"Finally," Rain groaned as she found herself in the Crawler. She quickly squirmed out of Thorns' grip and dropped to the ground. Her injured hand flopped in the air as she held it up. "Suvak!" she screamed into the vehicle. "You had better be able to fix this, or I'll have your spine!"
It was fun not being held under threat of death.
IC: Fang - Crawler (Team Backstab)
Fang was slowly brought back into consciousness with a soft groan. Karz, what had happened? Oh, of course. He had been stabbed in the back. Ironic, wasn't it?
It was about then that he noticed who was standing over him. Had he the energy, he would have debated between reaching for his sword or jumping out of the bed, not that it would have done any good. As it was, he was left with giving a burning glare to the vicious headmaster of this school.
But his eyes soon wandered, taking in the interior of the Crawler once again. How had he ended up here? Why wasn't he dead, and what happened to his assassin? He thought he found the answer when his eyes caught Kat and Exxan walking in, the former with an all-too-familiar Rahkshi over her shoulder. He watched them closely, trying to catch Kat's eye.
IC: Root - Backstab Base (Team Doublecross)
At about the same time, another hero was awakening, this one to a searing light and a pain-wracked body. Root hissed as he attempted to right himself and put the weight off his horribly mangled arm. His accomplice still seemed unconscious from the blast, but they had a new ally to welcome.
He quickly scanned the now-dim room for the presence of foes, then painfully leaned toward his fellow. "N-n-not... f-f-for... l-l-long," he groaned.
IC: Era - Backstab (Farsholt Village).
"Karz, where'd she go?" at some point, Exxan's defeated opponent had slipped away, and without eyes, I couldn't really track her down. But there was still one Doublecrosser left to deal with.
I fixed my attention on the third storey building, flying over and landing on the roof before firing a sonic pulse through the crumbling surface, aimed right at the last remaining Doublecrosser (Sanu). It was time to finish this.
_________________________________________________________________________
IC: Sliver - Doublecross (Beach).
Blundering through the trees, I did the best I could to put as much distance between me and the enemy team as possible. I was in no condition to continue fighting, but I didn't plan on retreating to the Crawler just yet.
There was still a chance for me to finish this....
The roaring of the ocean grew closer, and I soon stumbled out onto the beach, collapsing into the soft sand.
_________________________________________________________________________
IC: Exxan - Backstab (Terrain Crawler).
Falling into line behind the annoying, poorly-painted rahk, I nodded to Suvak. "When you have the time, I'd appreciate it if my injuries could be seen to," my voice was hoarse, and it was taking a lot of effort to remain steady on my feet.
Hopefully the blood still oozing from my arm and chest would be enough to convince Suvak that my treatment was a little more urgent than that of floppy-wrist in front of me.
IC Fog:
As Fog stalked through the trees, he heard crashing and crunching. Assuming it was an enemy combatant, he snuck through the trees until he was in the path of the thing, and threw out a cloud of fog, stepping slightly to the side and drawing his harpoon gun.
IC Phogen: He held up his hands and hunched a little as he turned around, in a bit of surrender to the faux pas. At the mention of amphitheater, his head perked up slightly despite his immense attempt to repress the action. He loved the arts, but he wasnt going to let it get in the way of his polite refusal. Still, it would be the first time in a public performance venue...
On second thought, letting that love leak through might be helpful. Jayar needed more convincing, that was certain, and this might be a great chance to do that. He let his love of theatre leak though a little as a slight pause before responding with a less than sure "No... No I would hate to ruin your special night together."
IC: Jayar / Fourth Tier
Karz, Hoto! ...No, it wasn't her fault. She didn't know any better... She had been ensnared by Phogen. Karz, Phogen!
He was relieved to hear Phogen's refusal to accompany them, despite knowing that there was almost certainly a reason for it beyond allowing them their 'special night.' It wasn't hard to fathom that reason, either. Hoto could do a much better job convincing him that Phogen was benevolent than it could itself.
Still, he'd said he'd give Phogen a chance. With as much politeness as he could muster (which was, while not boundless, a decent amount) he replied to the Derahk, "Well... thank you for being so considerate. We'll be sure to enjoy it."
Hold on, he reminded himself, don't fall into the trap... Remember what it's really for, enslavement, not enlightenment... Already his determination was beginning to falter just slightly. That wasn't giving Phogen a chance like he'd told Hoto he would.
The thing was, view Phogen with anything less than utter skepticism, and you were already being ensnared...
IC: Hoto - Malebranche
Hoto picked up on the reluctance in Phogen's refusal and frowned. "Come on, Jayar," she cried. "She wouldn't even have to sit right by us. You never complained about Zelnos coming along."
Hoto looked around for the other Rahkshi of Healing, pulling away a bit more from Jayar as she did.
