IC: Vitesse

Vitesse twisted around, and hit the knife out of the air. She picked it up, and said, "thanks!" Before starting to run again.

IC: Nightmare

"Oh no you don't! You get back here!" He said, Running to catch this thief/

IC: Vitesse

But the little Rahk's legs could almost certainly not catch up to her. Looking back, she flashed a quick smile before pulling out her bow again, loaded three arrows, and fired at the little one.

IC: Hoto - Malebranche

Imagine, one moment, all is stable and clean. The walls are far, the crowds are quiet, and all that lingers between is a soothing music. All at once, the walls crumble and stab towards you, distances that once were so certain fluctuating between frighteningly close and impossibly far, all within fractions of a second.

To someone whose vision depends on a soft, rhythmic clicking, this might be how the random and deafening clatter of applause could appear.

Hoto slowly uncurled herself very much like a Hoi turtle as the noise began to die down. She looked up at Jayar with a sheepish grin. "S-sorry," she murmured. "I... I wasn't expecting that."

IC: Nightmare

In the meantime, these little legs proved to be working. And well, He Was Able to Dodge this Fleet of Arrows.

Why Shoot multiple Arrows? That only wastes them.

His current plan; get close enough to get The Thief in range of his Staff, and hook his/her legs with it.

IC: Booger-Hallways

Booger heard the sounds of combat.  He quickly began to look for it, hoping for the chance to begin earning his fingers back.

IC: Vitesse

Karz. Why had she done that? Vitesse took out her knives, and started running again. She had to make it to the Library, and she was not going to be stopped by a pipsqueak of a Rahkshi. Not after all she had been through. Vitesse looked back. He could move well.

IC: Nightmare

C'mon! Closer! Just a Bit! Wait a Minute!

He converted into Flight mode, though it put him a little behind, he would go faster.

IC: Vitesse

Vitesse waited for a bit, then jumped and twisted in the air, slashing with her knives.

IC: Booger-Hallway

There they were! Booger charged!  A large glob of gunk hung from his faceplate, swinging as he ran.  He raised his cub and shouted, "NOOOOOO FIGHTING!"

IC: Nightmare

Nightmare Flew upward a bit, Got Cuts on his legs, and Then Fell from flight mode, unfortunately for his opponent, He fell in his/hers Path. 

Then this other rahkshi got involved.

"Don't intervene or else I will personally cut off your feet, and Force feed them to you." All the while his Fear powers were activated, but, it may be hard to take a Midget using a staff as a Crutch seriously. 

IC: Shark / Visorak Wilds

 

 

Was that Caoutchouc approaching? Indeed, it was. And with Rain unlikely to win against Exxan (or had she already lost? Time was weird) he was outnumbered and and underpowered by his vengeful attackers.

 

Perhaps it was time to prepare for a retreat.

 

The Silence Rahkshi began to circle Kat, orienting himself at a better position from which to escape to the nearby Crawler. A predator reasonably cautious, Shark awaited an attack from either opponent with mind and weapons ready.

IC: Silver - Visorak wilds

 

My humming came to an abrupt stop within a few minutes. It was Vorjak. It had to be. I moved in a little closer, keeping my eyes wide open.

Yep, there he was, and... two attackers? The stretchy one and another with a sword. Karz. Time to even out the odds.

I started to circle around the miniature battlefield, keeping to the shadows of trees as I crept up on the Turahk. Steady... steady...

IC Kat: I kept a small profile facing Shark. I knew that in a life and death battle, making the first move could be fatal. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a flicker of movement.

Another enemy....?

No, it was Cao. my grin widened.

The swords danced through the air, weaving intricate patterns as I circled.

IC: Vitesse

"You know, there's one thing that I really hate. People who put themselves in power using fear. And that is exactly what you have done. Or you think you have. You have zero power, even with fear as your ally." Vitesse spat out those words, as if they were acid.

IC: Nightmare

"Oh, but it is quite effective." He said. "Now, If you please, Hand over my Knife."

IC: Booger-Hallway

Booger stoped, a feeling of fear and suspicion had washed over him.  What was going on?  Than it clicked.  Palma had said Xara was violent, that could only mean...

Booger put his club away and rushed forward again. He knelt down and begged both Rahkshi.  "Oh Xara, I am so sorry! I just wanted to stop fights so you could give me my fingers back!"

IC: Rider

"I'm not sure...." Rider said.

IC: Whakatio

Whak nodded. "Yeah, let's go."

IC: Vitesse

"I suppose I could. Although, I do quite like it." Vitesse said, admiring the blade. She then tossed the knife. "Also, you aren't going to kill anyone here." Vitesse said angrily. "Only monsters would kill innocents. Nobody here should sink to that level." She then noticed the Rahk with... Snot on her faceplate before her. "Who the karz is Xara?"

IC: Nightmare

"My name is Nightmare, So that means I'm; No Xara, Yes Monster." He Said, catching the Knife "And what is there much to like, its just a Red throwing knife, nothing special."

IC Visorak Wilds

From behind him came Fang, stumbling along close to death as he was wont to do. After a particularly bad stumble, Caoutchouc moved to catch him and steady the surahk. "Do you ever learn?"

IC: Vitesse

"It has good balance." Vitesse said. "Also, you aren't a real monster. He is." Vitesse said, pointing at the tattoo on her shoulder.

IC: Booger-Hallway

The feeling was wearing off.  "Neither of you is Xara?  Do you know where she is?"

IC: Nightmare

"No. I don't know who or where This "Xara" is. And you may want a Cloth, you've got something, er, everywhere." He said, before turning back to the Archer "And who might that be, all I see is a Mask."

IC: Revenge-Library

"I hope that the others get back from the assignment soon.  They have been gone a while."

IC: Booger-Hallway

"Oh."  Booger sucked up the snot glob and spit it at the wall.  "Well that stinks, but at least ya stopped fighting.  I'm going to count that as a victory for me!"  Booger turned to leave.

IC: Shark / Visorak Wilds

Cao was distracted. And behind Kat, an ally - Silver. Now was the time to strike.

Shark remained an circling impassive predator, then suddenly leapt at the Turahk. With his own lengthy blade in his left hand he unleashed a wide counterclockwise swing, aimed to land upon Kat's shoulder, adding in a lower thrust with Faithful instants after. Now was the time for Silver to strike, while he retained the element of surprise and the Rahkshi of Fear was distracted. Hopefully, time wouldn't do that weird warping thing again and not give even him the chance.

IC: Jayar / Actor's Cradle
 

"It's fine." Jayar smiled back down at Hoto a little. "I wasn't either, or I would have warned you."

All around, beings were standing from their seats and filing towards the exits. He was in no particular hurry to leave - outside waited Phogen, whom he was in hurry to encounter once more. But it was no good hiding in here forever. He pushed himself out of the comfortable, cushioned chair, and offered a hand to help Hoto up as well. "Shall we go?"

IC Kat:

I didn't even have to move forward to block his strike at the wrist, My shorter blade flashing up quickly to meet his hand at the wrist. At this range, even if what was left connected, it was a glorified punch. 

The Shorter bent blade stab was more problematic, and I let go of Venom, the blade falling from my hand as it shot out to grab his arm, trying to stop it.

Anyone who's met me for any length of time can tell you that I've got deceptively strong Arms. They look fairly normal, standard Rahkshi, even. 

Had to hand it to my Makuta, he knew his stuff when it came to getting a good suit of armor made. 

'Cept for the thrice karzed Joints....

Glad I got those fixed.

"Cao, if you can hear me, I'd appreciate some support here!"

IC: Nightmare

"weirdo." He said, 

IC: Vorzorak

Vorzorak Made it to the Crawler, now Tired, He walked inside,

I'm not going back out there. I'm not leaving the Vehicle until we're back at Corpus.

He lay down on the Floor and went to Sleep.

IC: Vitesse

"I'll give you a hint. I take the phrase, 'go to Karzahni', on a more personal level." Vitesse said, though as if she was not there.

IC: Nightmare

"Well I don't get anything from that."

IC: Silver - Visorak wilds

As soon as her mouth moved, the blunt shaft of my staff arced down from behind, bent on delivering a stickful of unconsciousness.

IC: Vitesse

"I take it you don't know who the Makuta of Karzahni is." Vitesse said, examining her knives.

IC: Nightmare

"Not a bit. Why would I have the Need to?"

IC: Vitesse

Deadly serious, she spoke quietly. "To avoid him. It's Icarax. Unfortunately, I did not have the fortune to avoid him. And looked what happened." She gestured at the tatooes.

IC: Nightmare

"Ok. So I guess he wasn't good to you. But nor was mine. I picked my name from the First thing I experienced. A Nightmare. One that I couldn't escape by waking up for I was already awake." He Said

IC: Shark / Visorak Wilds

Unfortunately for Kat, Shark's silence field was still up. So close to the field's source there was not a chance Kat's cry for help could escape. Kat's shorter sword did manage a small triumph, though. The momentum of such an enormous blade could not easily be stopped, and though Shark flinched his arm back and away from the blade, he received a nasty cut to his left forearm. It was going to be tough to wield his enormous sword in that arm now, he'd have to switch blades between his hands if he got the chance.

But he wasn't going to let that victory multiply. He lashed out a quick kick not at Kat but the fallen Venom's handle, intent upon knocking it behind her, to be appropriated by his comrade or lost among the greenery for the fight's duration.

If Kat's arms were deceptively strong, Shark's were manifestly so. The massive Silence Rahkshi was strong in a most obvious way. He could match Kat's surprising strength, and he pressed his arm forward against his opponent's resistance, pushing to bring Faithful towards her midsection...

IC Kat:

Someone hit me from behind, sending pain wracking through me. With a growl, I snapped a sharp kick back, then planted, and turned, using Shark's own push to aid me in pushing him away from me as I let his arm go forward into the empty air I'd once occupied. I sent a kick at his back as he went.

Backed up a few feet, snatching up Venom, and putting them both in my field of view.

I didn't know who this other Rahkshi was, but I wasn't about to lose to something as small as being outnumbered. 

IC: Vitesse

"But yours did not take everything..." Vitesse said, remembering...

IC: Vitesse, a few months ago.

The realm of Karzahni. How to describe it? Horrifying. Icarax grunted."pick your weapon and go!" He yelled to some other Rahkshi and her. She looked around, horrified. Why? Why did they have to pick weapons, all of which could potentially kill someone? She picked up the smallest weapon she could find: a small throwing knife. She was about to leave, when she realized something. There was a shadowy giant behind her. She slowly turned around, only to meet another hit, in the gut. "Pick again." Very quickly, "Phantom" chose the nearest weapons: Another throwing knife, two longer knives, and a bow. She rushed off, hoping that she wouldn't attract the giant's attention.

IC: Stronghold and Alpha/Farsholt

"Karz."

They began to sneak out into the street and hopefully into the forest.

"We have to make our way back to the Crawler."

They kept themselves alert to Rhotuka and anything else, but it was getting increasingly hard to navigate when that Kahgarak was making it dark.

IC Vaalku

"I'll say."

Vaalku had been sitting there next to Revenge and Rider in the library, reading his instruments book, so absorbed in it he didn't even realize he butted into their conversation. He looked up with sudden surprise and said "O.. Oops."

IC: Revenge-Library

Revenge glared at Vaalku. "I think I will go to the gym and get some practice with my new, skill."

IC: Tube - Library

Tube straightened up and turned away from the two scary Rahkshi in the Library. "I'm hungry," they stated.

IC: Hoto - Malebranche

She slowly reached up for his hand after a moment and pulled herself up with an embarrassed sigh. "Okay," she said. "That was... incredible! I've never heard anything like it, have y-... where'd everyone go?"

She suddenly realized someone was missing. Veltorm had followed them in, of course. Zelnos was there... where was Phogen? Didn't she... oh.

Hoto frowned as she remembered there were only four tickets ordered. Her, Jayar, Zelnos, and Veltorm, all out of Phogen's pocket.

IC: Fang - Visorak Jungle (Team Backstab)

"I'm fine," Fang growled, but there was something almost good-natured to it. He'd been the one staggering through the jungle for who knows how long after all.

Up ahead, it was eerily quiet. Fang turned to look, only to see a flash of vibrant red. Kat. He'd seen her in action and had the utmost confidence in her, but there were also two opponents. One of them was the Rahkshi of Silence that had stabbed him.

Fang leaned down in Caoutchouc's grip, trying to hide himself. He didn't want to let that Rahkshi have another chance to finish the deed. "You should... help her," he muttered weakly.
