BZPRPG: Ga-Wahi

Jade's eyes slowly open the next morning; the sun shining through her window and landing on her face. She had fallen asleep on the couch with a comfortable blanket wrapped around her body and a pillow beneath her head. The Toa of Electricity sits up and looks out of the window, squinting her eyes while doing so. The beach was as beautiful as ever with no rain clouds on the horizon. Hopefully this day would be as great as the day before.The memories of yesterday began to flood back to Jade. No, she hadn't dreamt the earlier events; they had happened. That made the Toa even more happy. Now she had a friend to see when she left her home.Quickly, Jade gets up and walks to the bathroom; a blue sun dress wrapped under her arm. In a few minutes, she was dressed and ready to go. She decided to eat at the shop she had met Gust at the day before; maybe she could eat with him again today. And, besides, she was a terrible cook.Happily, Jade exits her home and walks toward the little shop in the center of the village. The sound of children laughing and playing could be heard around her as well as singing coming from a local music hall. It was all such a joyful noise...-Mef Man

IC: Team Winged DaggerYerith led the team down the beach and into the middle of the village."All right, boys, see what you can find," he said. "Personally, I'm hungry, tired, and could use a wash."Gaz nodded at the instructions and wandered around the village. Children were laughing and there was singing coming from some building not far off. It reminded him of home... if he ever got back alive.Pordal wasn't far behind the officers. He sensed that Gaz was ill at ease. He patted his shoulder, smiling and waving at some of the locals."Everything all right, Gaz?" Yerith asked, also reading his face."Just thinking of the wife and kids, sir," he answered truthfully.Yerith nodded, sympathetically. He had stopped caring about things long ago.Pordal, who was trying to be friendly to anyone who walked by was the first to notice that the ship they had destroyed was still afloat. And in a few seconds, it exploded, lighting up the sky and sending a loud noise through the village. The fuel must have caught fire. He backed up to the officers, gesturing with his head that they should leave.

IC: Gust (Beach, Ga-Koro)About fifty yards away from Jade, out on the beach, a tall, good-looking, shirtless Toa of Air was turned around yelling something to his friend about going and getting a sandwich with "legit protein" inside it.-Teezy

IC: Reaver'I think we can both agree that it was a total coincidence that I just managed to pick out the perfect dress,' she said happily. 'You look wonderful, Emotia. So, are you ready to go out there?'OOC: I can't guarantee that I'll be here most of the day, so if I'm late to reply, you know why.

But, Jade was looking toward the water. Apparently a boat had exploded in the water. Hopefully no one was on it...-Mef Man

IC: Team Winged Dagger"Price," Gaz hissed. "Someone's looking.""'Course they're all looking," Yerith scoffed. "It's an exploding boat."Pordal looked at the pretty female Toa Gaz had pointed out that was observing the explosion. He smiled and waved.

IC: [Rynekk Simul] - Ga-Wahi Shore, Casa JuturnaRynekk shrugged, "It's worth a shot. It looks like something is in Ga-Wahi, and if we can find it, all the better."Adjusting his Kakama absent-mindedly, he added, "Once this wedding is over, we'll start our searching."-Void

Jade turned to Pordal and slowly waved back; eyes still on the burning boat. What the Karz had happened?-Mef Man

IC: Team Winged DaggerPordal's grin widened a bit. He had always been complimented as a bit of a charmer back in his training days.Gaz noticed the smirk on Pordal's face."Shut up, Soap," he scoffed. "You don't even talk."Yerith sighed, taking over for Pordal."Miss, don't be alarmed by the exploding boat," he explained, finding that statement to be a bit silly-sounding. "We sort of... how would you say it, Gaz?""We needed to get on, they wouldn't let us get on, so we got on by force, got what we needed to get onboard, and they tried to destroy the ship because what was onboard could harm our enemies and they didn't want that," Gaz said, pausing to catch his breath. "Just making the island a bit safer... if not louder."

"If you say so..." Jade says before walking toward the beach; away from the new beings.These guys are nuts...-Mef Man

IC: Matatu drew his sword. "Fight honorably." he said to Sulov.

IC: Team Winged Dagger"I don't think she particularly liked us," Gaz said.Pordal huffed in annoyed agreement."Oh, and what are you going to do about it?" Gaz chuckled. "I hardly even hear you breathe sometimes.""Well, maybe she won't think we're bonkers if we let her in on the classified intel," Yerith pointed out. Then laughed at the ridiculousness of the statement.And this is why people don't like us, Pordal thought, shaking his head.

IC: Vrana"I have no idea... but whatever it is, I'm going to see if I can get a few of them to shut up so we can find out." The Avian muttered. Trying to distinguish voices of people from each other was nearly impossible when multiple were speaking. It was a whole lot easier in the forest. And Rahi with similar masks didn't all look identical.

Jade continues to walk until she saw a particular Toa of Air on the beach.Gust.The Toa of Electricity had never seen Gust looking like this before. He stood on the beach shirtless; his gaze looking toward someone else. Jade didn't hear his words over the earlier explosion, but the explosion was the last thing on her mind now...'"Gust!" she calls out, her pace quickening a bit.OOC: Quickening? Is that a word? -Mef Man

IC: CadiasCadias frowned. "Be careful. And do try to not injure somebody."Cadias was always slightly worried about Vrana losing his temper, particularly in the middle of a village. If Vrana lost control, bad things could happen.

IC: Sulov nodded. He withdrew the plaque.His remaining hand removed the sheath from his prosthetic and placed it beside the arena of combat. He then put beside it the tablet with his name.Following Matatu, the matoran lowered himself into the pit of the duel. He didn't look at anything but his opponent-he had already examined the battlefield. He knew it.Once inside, Sulov drew his polearm. It was akin to a quarterstaff in his one hand. Each end gleamed with its own point, a perfect half of a rhombus.He extended the shovel's blade he had for a hand to level it at his foe. His left foot moved forwards to compensate while his right was put slightly back. Finally, the rahk staff was pointed at a 45-degree angle right away from Matatu.Thus having assumed his starting stance, Sulov waited for his foe to make the first move. He gazed at Matatu without expression.OOC: Query-what do these pits look like? I'd like to hold off the fight until a description with more specifications is given.

IC: Gust (Beach, Ga-Koro)Ignoring the wolf-whistles and joking congratulations that the other beachgoers and surfers threw at him, Gust grinned and waved at Jade, walking towards her."Hey, Jade, how did you sl--""We love you, Gust!""We'll miss you!""He'll never be fun again...""-eep," he said, trying not to laugh at the fake parting words.-Teezy

Jade couldn't help but laugh at the beings's words; her smile coming back just as it did the day before."Great, how about you?" she asks in return; making her way over the sand and to Gust. The Toa glanced down at her feet as she walked, making sure she didn't drag her dress on the gritty sand.-Mef Man

IC: Gust (Beach, Ga-Koro)"I slept really well, actually," he said, grinning. "Really, really well."He began to look around, visibly confused."Where did I leave my shirt? I could've sworn it was on that bench..."-Teezy

"Oh, you don't need it, do you?" Jade jokes as she admires Gust's muscular build; a small grin on her face.-Mef Man

IC: Gust (Beach, Ga-Koro)A patch of red began to sprout on both of Gust's cheeks."I, uh...well, I mean...helps prevent sun damage from the skins, I mean...skin from suns, I guess, but uh...I guess not?"-Teezy

Jade places a hand to her mouth before bursting out into a laugh. "Go find you shirt, Air-head," she jokes.-Mef Man

IC: Gust (Park, Onu-Koro)"I plan on it--"Gust stopped suddenly as he saw a seagull ripping at a grey short-sleeved shirt. The gull ripped away one of the sleeves and began to chew before looking up and squinting at Gust. The Toa of Air returned the gesture as the bird spit out the sleeve of his shirt.Gust snarled. The bird squawked.Neither pair of eyes left the other.-Teezy

Jade's eyes looked at Gust's before turning toward the gull. Rolling her eyes, she holds out her hand and watches as a concentrated blast of electricity strikes the wet ground beneath the gull. The bird squaks before taking to the sky; leaving the tattered shirt where he found it."Problem solved...buuut it looks like your shirt is done for," she adds with a small smile on her face. Trying to hold back another laugh, Jade adds,"We'll get you a new one, okay?"-Mef Man

IC: Gust (Beach, Ga-Koro) "Yeah, sure we will," Gust muttered. "Bloody feathered devil..."-Teezy

"Yep," Jade says while taking Gust's hand in her smaller one. "A realy servant of Makuta." The Toa begins walking toward the village, leaving the sandy beaches behind her."So, save any lives today?" she asks Gust.-Mef Man

IC: Gust (Beach, Ga-Koro)"One or two," he admitted, squeezing her hand. "But that wasn't the main reason I felt like getting out of bed this morning."-Teezy

"Oh, something's more important than a couple lives?" she asks the Toa of Air, hoping the answer to the question was what she thought it was...-Mef Man

IC: Vrana"No one shall be harmed unless they bring it upon themselves. I'm not going to harm anyone without enough reason." The Black bird commented, as he entered into the village. he had once acted as a hero here, defending the skies, then he was thrown out to die. He could only wonder what the Koro would send next into his life, maybe it would finish him off this time.

IC: Gust (Beach, Ga-Koro)"Oh, but of course," he said gently, squeezing her hand. "Someone, more like, but yes."-Teezy

"Torch?" jade guesses with a small smile on her face. "You know, I haven't even seen his face, but I feel like I know him in some small way..."-Mef Man

IC: Gust (Beach, Ga-Koro)"Actually, everyone gets that feeling," he joked, squeezing her hand. "But no. Not Torch. Here, I'll give you a hint: she's the most beautiful girl in oh, let's just say...a 300 mile radius."-Teezy

"Is she named after a gem of some sort?" she asks, her face starting to blush a bit.-Mef Man

IC: Cadias"Of course." He followed the Avian into the village, feeling rather curious. Partially it was due to whatever was happening in the village, but much more was seeing how Vrana would react to the Matoran. Vrana had spent quite a bit of time finding fault in the Matoran as a whole, something to explain why he had been rejected. Certainly, he would find something to prove the unending selfishness of the Matoran, but would he find it on the scale he thought he would?

IC: Gust (Beach, Ga-Koro)"She's a gem, alright," Gust said, grinning widely.-Teezy

"Her name isn't Jade, is it?" Jade asks, almost expecting him to say no...-Mef Man

IC: Gust (Beach, Ga-Koro)"See, that sounds right, but I don't know if that's how it's pronounced," he joked, biting his lip and faking heavy concentration. "Jah-day?" Jay-dee? Something like that."-Teezy

"Jay-duh will do," Jade replies before leaning in and kissing Gust's cheek. "You're a sweet one, I'll give you that," she says to Gust as the two walk along the street of Ga-Koro.-Mef Man

IC: Matatu stepped into the pit. He drew his sword, and looked at his opponent, having evaluated him before the match. He made the first move by stepping foward, and lunging his sword at his opponent.

IC: Gust (Beach, Ga-Koro)"Sweet like 'you seem like a good guy and all but right now I need some time to work things out' sweet, or 'Oh, Gust, how did I ever live my life without you?' sweet?" Gust asked with a grin and a blush.-Teezy
