IC: Amaris, Ta-Koro"I've done many things. Planning is among them-" Amaris began to say, flashing a smile at Corik. She was unsure why she did it, considering the previous things she did was to see how the Toa would react. And then Yrano spoke, shook, and looked away. "I'm sorry, is something wrong?" Amaris asked, her eyes wide and unsure as the Toa avoided her gaze.
IC(Yrano): Yrano glanced at her quickly out of the corner of his eye. He made babbling sounds and began sweating.
IC: Amaris, Ta-KoroAmaris glanced at Corik and Beatha. "Shouldn't we being doing something?" She whispered fiercely, gesturing to the disturbingly reacting Toa.Standing up, Amaris carefully began to step forward. "What's wrong?" She asked, unsure of what else to say.
IC(Yrano): Yrano froze, gave a sharp squeal and fell over in his chair, passed out.
IC-Beatha:"He seems to be afraid of Skakdi," Beatha noted. "He'll get over it eventually, I hope."
IC: Amaris, Ta-Koro"But... When I was speaking," Amaris said, leaning down next to Yrano to check his pulse, and pull him (and his chair) upright. "Oh." She said, understanding what had sparked the fear. "Visual awareness."
OOC: This gonna be the most fun-est boat ride evar.IC(Yrano): Yrano groaned and came to. "The kraz happened...?" he asked, holding his head. Surprisingly, his glasses didn't fall off.
IC: Amaris, Ta-Koro"Um..." Amaris said, quickly stepping back and sitting down in her chair, crossing her legs (A instinctive pose for her), considering what to say. "You passed out." She said truthfully, finding no reason to lie. As she spoke, she smiled, unsure of what else to do or say.
IC(Yrano): Yrano didn't glance at Amaris, but glanced around nervously. "Y-yeah, that happens." Yrano stammered as he put his glasses away and his notepad.
IC: Amaris, Ta-KoroAmaris opened her mouth, as if to ask a question, and then shut it again.Awkardness followed immediately. Finally, she spoke. "Why are you scared of my kind?" She asked, smiling again, as if not to be too questioning.
IC: JestI sat somewhat boredly in my chair, not really caring what the Skakdi had to say. An illusion was just that, it fooled the senses. It took a mask, or vision, I suppose, to reveal what lied underneath. Of course, not all people had that, which could explain the started remarks from nearby people about the number of rats scurrying about in the restaurant.
IC(Yrano): Yrano stammered a few moments before composing himself. "If that's all, I would like to see the boat." and with that, Yrano was out the door.
IC: Pantak looked at his companion. "When do we start planning to rob the bank?" he asked.IC: Vorasku's OrganizationVorasku said "Our main goal is to take out the ILS. Does anyone want to scout the village?" "I will." said Turok. She then began walking toward Pala-Koro.OOC: Turok to Le-WahiOOC: Group open to interaction.
OOC: When I get off my lazy butt and write as Feongulf more.IC: Pantak looked at his companion. "When do we start planning to rob the bank?" he asked.
IC: Amaris, Ta-KoroAmaris didn't press the subject any further. Standing up, she spoke to Beatha and Corik. "I'd like to see it as well."
IC: (Avya)I looked at Isfel incredulously. "You haven't heard? A mad Toa of Ice attacked the hospital, and the only way to defeat him was to evacuate as many people as possible and then bring the buliding down on top of him."IC: Isfel stepped back, aghast. He had actually had no knowledge of the attack on the hospital. In fact, he took the news hard. "who would do such a thing." he said to himself, uncomprehending as to why someone who destroy a hospital.
IC: Pantak"Smashing locks is my specialty." he said, walking beside Feongulf.IC: Turok walked back to the Organization. "They have at least 40. Far too many for us to attack with our current numbers." "Very well." Vorasku said. We shall have to grow in number." They then took the route to Po-Wahi.OOC: Organization to Po-Wahi.
IC (Grata):Grata sat in his cell of steel and iron, sharpening his axe, waiting. Finally, night came, and the guards were further away from his cell than any other time of the day. Grata quickly got to work escaping. He activated his lazer vision to start melting away the steel door quietly. The door was hevily reinforced, so one night of lazer cutting would not do the job. Each night for about a week he would do the same. Since his cell door was never opened, the guards would never see the slow destruction of the door.Tonight was finally the night, and the outline of the steel door has melted enough that one swift kick would knock it down. However, since he wanted it to be quiet, kicking the door would not be a good idea. Grata carefully pulled the heavy steel door into his cell. His door was now open, he just had to get past the unsuspecting guards...You see, Grata thought, Grata never stays arrested.
IC-Jorram:There was one guard that Grata never thought about, though, because he had never seen this guard. This guard had a novel way of hiding himself, actually. There was one large stone that would sit in the wall. This stone's spot normally wasn't filled, however, unless Jorram had decided to take that spot and hide. And he noticed that Grata was escaping from where he was locked. If it were possible, the 'stone' would have wriggled in excitement.IC-Corik:"Of course," Corik said, standing, as Beatha tried to stand, Corik quickly helping him to stay up."Just follow me to the docks."
IC:KaiKai grinned. "What would it matter?" He gestured to his armor. "What could they do to me?"
IC-Xare:"Shove a protosteel knife through the back of that blasted piece of metal," the Toa of Ice growled.
IC: Garren nodded to Vitiate, then took off at a jogging pace. He built up speed, then jumped off the cliff that they were standing on. He landed on a nearby bridge, rolled, and coninued on his way.OOC: Garren to Ga-Wahi.-Bane
IC:KaiKai laughed. "You make me laugh Xare." He strode away. "Anyways, we'll meet up in Po-Koro after the attack."
OOC: Kohra from Ko-Wahi.IC:A hooded and cloaked figure quietly moved through the charred forest, slipping from one shadow to the next like a wraith under the gnarled and burned branches. Like petrified hands and fingers of giant skeletons the hung overhead, dimming the orange twilight under the perpetual clouds of ash. Had the Vortixx been just a mere traveler she would have taken the fastest path from the Ko-Wahi mountain and taken the cablecar over the Tren-Krom break. But she was no traveler. And so she had trusted her dark passenger to safely guide her along uncommon paths, largely unknown to the Matoran and seldomly trodden, until she had returned to the jungles at the roots of the mountains. And after the days of travel, the path had led her back here, just as her master and guide had told her it would.Up ahead she saw the volcano rise over the treetops, spewing ash and dust into the early mid-day sky. And it was there that her next task awaited her. With a hint of a smile, Kohra continued to walk.
IC (Grata):The first pair of guards came into sight. Before they could turn around to see Grata, they got whacked in the back by a giant axe and fell down limp. Dead? Unconcious? It didn't matter. Grata ran to the next two guards and did the same without stopping. He was near the exit now, and so far, no alarms had been set off. This was going smoother than any of his other breakouts. He then passed a rock that he could have sworn just moved...
IC-Jorram:And, suddenly, he would feel himself held to the ground with gravity, unable to move, as the rock seemed to step out of its place, turning into a Toa in the process."Nice attempt," the Toa of Gravity said, "But I'm afraid it won't quite work that way."
IC (Grata):Grata, seeing that he had been tricked, fired his lazers at the toa. While doing that, Grata moved his head rapidly so the Toa would not be able to doge it. He did not mean to hurt the Toa, just make the Toa loose concentration so he could make his escape. If the Toa got hurt in the process, then that would be a bonus.
IC-Jorram:Jorram didn't need to dodge it. He used his powers, raising Grata up enough in the high hall that he couldn't look down far enough to hit Jorram with his laser blasts."Are you quite done?"
IC (Grata):This Toa of gravity was tricky, but Grata was going to put up a fight. Grata Touched the celing of the hall, grabbing as many stones as he could. He then threw the stones at the toa, blinding him from what was coming next. Grata threw his massive axe with amazing accuracy at the Toa. Either one of two things would happen: One, The Toa would loose his gravitational grip on Grata to stop the wall of stones flying at him. Or two, the Toa would ignore the rocks, keeping his gravitational grip on Grata, and get hit by the axe.
IC-Jorram:Problem was, the gravitational field the Jorram used to hold Grata up would also affect the rocks, leaving everything within a part of that hall just floating in the air. Grata would have to be more afraid about his axe coming back up to meet him."Anytime you're ready."
IC (Grata):Grata growled in disapointment, as he cought his axe flying back at him. Then he realized that the Toa could actually be helping his escape. Grata looked up at the celing, and cut a hole in the roof. Because of the Toa's anti-gravity, Grata shot up out of the roof with incredible speed. He knew that the Toa would probably pull him back down, so Grata looked for a solid, reinforced part of the roof to aim his body at when he was most likely pulled back down.
IC-Jorram:Jorram just did what he could to make sure Grata flew as high in the air as possible, sending the Skakdi to his death, plummeting from the air.It would be funny, seeing such a big, orangish splat on the ground. Jorram might even laugh.
IC (Grata):Grata expacted he would be pulled back down, but not at this height. Also, he had just aimed himself towards the reinforced steel part of the roof. Grata was heavily armored, but it would not protect him from an impact like this. So, Grata fired his lazers at the steel, warming it, and making it softer. Just before he touched the roof, he swung his axe at it, burying himself in the hot steel. Grata then stood up with badly cracked armor, and looked at the Toa through the hole me made to get out.Knowing he could have been killed by the fall, Grata said "Toa code: never kill." With that, he ran as fast as he could on the rooftop away from the Toa, away from his gravitational field.
IC: Sontarok had been walking through the streets of Ta-Koro when he noticed a skakdi [Grata] running wildly on a roof. "What is going on here?" he yelled in a commanding voice.
IC (Grata): Gata had noticed he had cought the attention of others, so it was too late to turn back. Grata lept off the roof, and ran. He took every back street possible, and ran as quietly as he could. Luckily, the night was on his side, hiding him in the shadows of the streets. He had to move to another Wahi, and fast.OOC: Grata to Ko-Wahi
IC: Taronak, suspecting that Grata had comitted a crime, followed him through the backstreets, to Ko-Wahi.OOC: Taronak to Ko-Wahi.
IC: Amaris, Ta-KoroAmaris slid her chair back under the table, and followed Corik.OOC: Filler, filler... Gonna filler tonight! *Gets slapped by MJ fans*
IC: The troop of Ta-Koro Guardsmen stopped briefly in Ta-Koro for a drink before continuing south to Le-Wahi.OOC: Guarsmen to Le-Wahi
IC: Sideways:Sideways led the group into Ta-Koro, making the following signs appear on every corner of every street:
Farming Lava not good enough for you?
Better at swinging a weapon than doing whatever you do?
Look for Sideways at the Burning Tree bar,
To get in on some treasure and glory!
After that, Sideways led the group to the Burning Tree bar, and sat them all down in a corner of the bar, waiting for prospective members.
IC:Quoribay ordered drinks for the quartet or mercenaries, and then went outside to pick up some small stones, before returning a minute later.
