IC: Era - Backstab (Terrain Crawler).
"Um, sir...." Era raised her hand, "I'm blind, remember? I only managed to find my way back here by following a path someone made through the trees. I'm not going to be much use in the air."
She paused. "Does this mean the assignment's over?"
IC: Uppercut + Punch + Counterpunch/Crawler
I fell. Honestly I didn't care for the game him anymore and just let him be. All the while Punch, who was the owner of the body, told me what was going on.
~You're taking this pretty well.~ thought Punch.
~Indeed he is. Surprising.~ said Counter, who also woke up.
~So what should I do.~ asked I as I got up the ground to approach Suvak.
~We must save our mentor. Stronghold is in trouble. We seem to be a little weak so you'll have to do it. Now that we're awake we can tell you what to do.~ said Punch.
~Go to Suvak and offer your aid.~
I nodded as I spoke.
"I can help as a scout, Suvak."
IC: Alpha/Crawler
I regretted not going back to help, but now is the time to do so.
"I will go. Punch, come with me."
IC: Stronghold/Headed to the village
Wait. I was still already numb from Xara when I got here. Can I move yet?
Nope. Still can't. Guess it hasn't worn off yet.
IC: Shield
Shield grabbed Punch's head and attempted to slam it into the ground, over and over.
IC: Alpha/Crawler
I forced myself in between the two and held out my tomahawk and dagger, blade facing downward to block Shield. My metal armor was up too.
"Enough. More Rahkshi are dying. We can't harm a valuable asset."
IC: Uppercut+Punch+Counterpunch/Crawler
"Can you stop that mean Rahk please, Mr. Suvak? He's been harrassing me since I've been awakened."
IC: Mortsia
Mortsia finished the book. He closed it, and let go with his claws, all while flipping to land on his feet. He did indeed land it, and put the book up. He then stepped into the hall, jumped onto the wall, and climed up to the ceiling, where he started crawling through the hall.
OOC: Mortsia open for interaction in the hallways.
IC: Shield
"He's a murderer." Shield spat.
IC: Alpha/Crawler
"Then you can deal with him when we get back. We need everybody who can fight. And it already seems like he's broken mentally already." I said while unflinching.
But Punch indeed sounded different. Formal and childish at the same time. And he murdered? I would have to wonder about that later.
IC Vaalku
As a small basin of water rose up from the Gym floor, Vaalku set to work shifting the metal. He heated one section of it, placed the other in a kink in the furnace, then used a hammer to twist the piece. Cool, rinse, repeat.
This was the easy part.
IC: Sidonas - Crawler
Sidonas turned, facing Suvak. "I've still got one good arm, a few of my inventions, and my intellect. If I can be of any use then let me know." Sidonas turned away, keeping his eyes on Recoil's unconscious form.
Ic: San
The rahkshi continued to be confused by everything before the group broke up, leaving San bewildered as to where to go, turning all around in a circle, then gave up and sighed. He walked forward for a while before hearing a clanking noise from the ceiling. Looking up, he saw a rahkshi walking upsidedown.
"Uh, excuse me", he said to the rahkshi that had broken the rules of gravity, "may San inquire as to why you are on the ceiling?"
Ooc: San interacting with Mortsia.
IC: Mortsia
Mortsia looked down upon this newcomer. Then, in a deep and melodic voice, he said:
"Walking on the ceiling is my liberty
Rather than always following the rules
Rather than always living in misery
Rather than being a tool."
IC: Torch - Nynrah
"Let's head for that clearing." I say, pointing and diving downwards.
IC: Raith - Refectory
Change is coming...
I stand. "Tube, Whakatio, Chekquars is no longer here - pursue your own goals." Not the most inspirational speech, I know, but it will have to do.
What are you doing? You just lost two useful allies!
No, I just freed two people.
I leave...I need time to contemplate.
IC: Shock
Shock headed for the clearing, admiring the carnage of burnt trees.
IC: Nightmare
Nightmare Started from his Dorm to the gym.
OOC: Open for interaction.
IC: Tube - Refectory
Tube wasn't sure whether to jump for joy that she was leaving... or miss her actual leadership. It was hard when Checkers wasn't there, and the reminder didn't help.
But Tube settled on an innocent grin as they turned back to their food and Whak. "Oh good. My own goals... what are my goals again?"
IC: Hoto - Malebranche
The tension between the two was just unbearable. Hoto nervously shifted back and forth, trying to decide whose side she was really on.
Maybe they just needed to get moving again. She knew that she did. "Well... thank you for paying for the tickets," she awkwardly whispered to Phogen. "And... thanks for taking me to the show," she said to Jayar. "But... maybe we should get back to Grossh. It's... getting late."
Ic Kat:
Exxan's blade did just enough to keep Shark's sword from cleaving deep into my side, but it still knocked me over, dislodging the knife from my wrist and sending me tumbling.
With a growl, I stood back up.
With Shark distracted by Exxan, this should be an easy win.
I planted my foot.
My left fist curled up, plowing through the air like a freight train, with just as much force.
A sickening uppercut.
IC: Whak
Whak nodded, finishing her tray of sludge.
IC: Lucid / Roof
Over there, another Rahkshi? Lucid just had to share the glorious clarity brought by the roof! She called over to Vitesse, "Hey! You should come over here and check this out, it's amazing!"
* * *
IC: Vlad / Gym
Vlad's shoulders drooped in the sadness of one whose every effort to fulfill their dream is futile. His every effort to summon an organ out of the Gym floor failed cataclysmiclly, and none of the NPCs other students he asked had any more idea of how to create the instrument than he did, if they knew what it was or even responded to his polite plea at all.
He looked at the cover of the guidebook with a depressed sigh and summoned up a crude chair to sit in. "Vell Ivan, it vould seem I am stuck vithout an organ to play. I thought for vonce I had zer chance to do somethink impressive... But I cannot even make myself zer instrument. How vill I ever learn to play it if I do not even have vun to play!?" He shook his head, slowly and sadly.
But behind him something amazing was happening. Ivan had finally decided his companion's grief was too pitiful, and with concentration characteristic of the unusually intelligent Ice Bat he had commanded the Gym to summon an organ. And an impressive organ, too, huge and foreboding in stature, perfect for a downcast vampiric Rahkshi such as Vlad.
But in his depression, Vlad managed almost comically not to notice the miracle behind him. At least, not until his poorly constructed chair suddenly collapsed, and he went sprawling on the floor, the pipe organ whirring across his flailing vision. Excited, he sprang to his feet. "Vhere did zis come from?" he gasped happily. Ivan squeaked proudly.
"Vhy... vhy didn't you do zis to begin vith!?" the Vorahk cried out, vaguely angry but more exultant as he leapt forward toward the pipe organ, tripped over the dissolving remnants of his seat, and continued on to slam his fingers down on the keyboard in the only chord he had memorized, a bellowing B minor. "Never mind... thank you, Ivan, thank you." Ivan took an airborne bow.
OOC: Vlad and Ivan open to interaction in the Gym, especially given that the pipe organ just blasted a B minor chord into the room for all to hear

IC: Shark / Just Outside Crawler
Though Remembrance struck true, Shark at first figured it was no big deal. It was just another gash, he could fight through it. He had struck his own blow against Kat as well. All was far from losht...
What...?
Almost immediately it occured to Shark that from the throbbing cut on his arm was flowing into his bloodstream some sort of poison, slowing his thoughts and generally being a nuisance. He quickly back-pedaled out of Kat's strike, stumbling slightly, and reached out with his arm holding Faithful to steady himself against the Crawler wall. It was only going to get worse, and he'd be in yet worse condition to fight... But the door was just a few steps over there, a place of neutral territory and healing. He slid along the Crawler's edge, headed for the entrance, unnamed sword held out to defend himself but wavering slightly.

IC: Jayar / Fourth Tier
Jayar nodded at Hoto's thanks, replying, "It was a pleasure." It really had been, and not only for the music. It was made more enjoyable that he had shared the experience with Hoto, that it had made her happy.
Now, though, that happiness had passed. It saddened him to see Hoto in such obvious distress, especially since he was partially at fault... But he could not allow himself to lower his guard against Phogen. Not even... not even if it meant... upsetting Hoto.
...Really?
With relief for the change of subject he agreed, "Yeah, probably. Back to the cablecar, then?" He offered his hand for Hoto to take, as she had as they traversed the city previously. But would she take it? He had his accursed, doubts, especially given she had just refused Phogen's helping hand...
OOC: Mata Nui, that was a long post!
IC: Vitesse
Vitesse turned, surprised that she hadn't seen the colorful Rahkshi. Putting the troubled thoughts she had out of her mind, Vitesse went over to Lucid, now curious. "What is it?" She asked, somewhat shocked that a Rahk could be so happy.
IC Visorak Wilds
The rubberahk slowly became conscious, ah, sweet wakefu-
PAIN
PAIN
OUCH
His leg was fractured he was sure, the rest of him felt like he'd been run over by a herd of kikanalo. Stumbling to a standing position took upwards of a minute. He surveyed the clearing. Clear enough.
He slowly sat back down, testing the angles he could get his leg into. As he settled into flight mode, he lifted off gingerly. A very slow pace was possible, and it spared his aching joints and tibia the trouble. So this was how he made his way towards the beach, slowly and painfully. Drifting like some sort of errant soap bubble.
IC: Lucid / Roof
Lucid stood. "The secrets of life and the hidden ways of fate were a mystery to all of us, but no more! Behold," She gestured dramatically to the spot on the roof which was the source of her enlightenment, the spot on the roof that was to the undisciplined eye no different than any other spot (unless you thought it special for some reason that it was roughly overhead dorm room 42), "- the Answer!"
She grinned sagely, awaiting the other Rahk's incredulous revelation at the sudden clarity of life.
IC Kat:
Shark would find his path blocked by none other than myself.
"Going somewhere?"
IC: Vitesse
...I see." Vitesse said, frowning. While it was a source of excitement for the strange Rahk, Vitesse was fairly literal and to the point, so this was lost on her. Trying to be nice, she said: "I don't quite understand it, though. Could you perhaps, enlighten me on the details?"
IC: Exxan - Backstab (Beach near Crawler).
While Kat distracted Shark, I sent a throwing knife blasting through the air towards his upper chest.
IC: Kuma
Kuma walked into the gym with his electric guitar and headed over to the organ player. "Well that was a cool noise, what is that thing?"
IC: Venom and Liar - Empty Dorm Wing
As Venom set down her captive next to Illusive's and Liar proceeded to untie his a little further away, she turned towards the Rahkshi of Illusion and began to speak.
"We should probably get out of here soon," she whispered. "I don't want to be one of the Rahkshi these guy's eventually end up attacking."
IC: Illusive - Empty Dorm Wing.
I nodded.
You're going to regret this....
No. I'm not.
IC Poly:
We tossed the unconscious one unceremoniously inside, then turned to leave, the infected Matoran following behind a ways.
IC: Illusive - Empty Dorm Wing.
Alright, let's get out of here. I signed to the others.
IC: Venom and Liar - Empty Dorm Wing
The duo soon fled the scene with their comrades, Venom shaking her head in annoyance as Liar continued to snicker at the crude doodles he had etched onto his Matoran's mask with his clawed finger.
IC: Xara - Refectory.
Grabbing myself a tray of sludge, I sat down and picked idly at my food, wondering what the karz I was supposed to do with myself now. I had so many decisions to make, but no idea where to even start...
OOC: Xara open for interaction.
IC: Torch - Nynrah
My feet make contact with the burnt orange earth as I unfold from flight position, making my way towards a large tree, tendril-like roots snaking across the ground.
IC: Lucid / Roof
Lucid frowned. How could the spring of ultimate clarity not be perfectly clear!? "But... it's blatantly obvious..." she said to Vitesse. "And even if it weren't, it's not something I can explain... It has to be experienced, not informed." She sighed, and upon some brief contemplation finding a suitable comparison continued helpfully, "...But I guess it's kind of like magic pasta." Maybe just that small nudge would make it clear.
* * *
IC: Vlad / Gym
Vlad beamed at the newcomer. "It is a pipe organ," he declared. Ivan nodded sagely in agreement.
* * *
IC: Shark / Just Outside Crawler
Well, this was unfortunate. Not worthy of cursing mentally, that was far too emotional. But getting pretty bad.
While normally knocking a knife aside would be easy, Shark only just managed to knock aside Exxan's windblown projectile with his massive sword, his accuracy and speed fettered by the poison in his system. It was only going to get worse... He could not allow the fight to be prolonged. He crossed his massive sword and Faithful in an X (or perhaps more of a slanted t, given the size difference between the swords), with the blade of Faithful pointing out offensively, complimenting the defensive orientation of facing the wide flat edge of his unnamed sword out as well. Then with all the strength he could muster (which despite the poison remained quite considerable, though waning) and swords at a slight angle to wall so to wedge Kat out of the way, Shark charged Kat in one vehement, hopefully final bid for escape.
The door to safety was just beyond his opponent. All he had to do surmount this obstacle...
IC: Exxan - Backstab (Beach).
As Shark turned to attack Kat, I lunged forward, stabbing Remembrance at his exposed back. This ends now....
IC: Nightmare-Gym
Nightmare had another wonderful Idea.
I don't need the Grill, Just Put whatever small rahi, Dead, of course, on the hook on my Staff, and put it over an Open Flame, then, Voila! Cooked meat=Rich!
Then he Made a Dummy, and viciously beat it with his staff over, and over, and over again...
IC: Shock
Shock landed on the burnt orange ground. "So this is where it its? How did it not burn down the tree?" Shock asked.
IC: Vitesse
Vitesse frowned even more. "Look, I am going to be blunt. I'm a fairly literal person, so I probably can't see anything. Besides, what meaning there is to life for us is simple: We are the Makuta's slaves, servants, and army. We were built to serve the blasted beings. That's all there is."
IC: Lucid / Roof
"You poor thing..." Lucid frowned sympathetically. What a miserable world this Rahkshi had locked herself in! "There is so much more to life than serving the Makuta... If the Answer is too deep for you, look to simpler things. Look at the beauty of a flower in bloom, or the icy majesty of the shimmering stars." She gestured grandly at the star-sprinkled heavenly sphere above. "Exalt in the wonders of being life like those before us never could. Their existence was as you describe, but not yours, not unless you let yourself think it is. And it seems to me that you have. Don't think like that any more, it's made you miserable! There is so much more for you, because if you would only look, you would see beauty. And it bears witness to something more."
IC: Kuma
"You know I actually have an instrument as well," he said holdig it out. "It's called an electric guitar and sound like this:" http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JYY5Ho16EE0. I think we could work together to make some awesome music. Whaddya say?"
OOC: Imagine he played the link, no the performer is not me I got that from google.
IC: Vlad / Gym
Wow. That was fairly impressive for Vlad, especially since he had rarely ever heard any music at all. He stared at Kuma admiringly as he played the piece, feeling quite self-conscious of the fact that he really remained utterly incapable of playing anything other than one chord. "Vell, zer think is... I still don't know how to play anythink. Certainly nothink like zat..." He held up the book Playing Enormous Living-Stone Organs For Dummies and continued almost a little defensively, "But I am tryink to learn zough! Unt vunce I do, I vould be happy to make music vith you."
IC: Vitesse
"The problem is, no matter how much I look upon the beauties of our world, the nightmares always creep up. I was taught that I was simply cannon fodder. Fairly harsh teaching, too." Vitesse said, sighing. "I have tried to look for the beauty in the world, yet nothing works. I look to the flowers, and I see them wilting. The rain will always go away. Even the heavens, too, are not permanent. All I see is the end for things."
