IC: Vitesse

She had followed the footsteps to the gym. She rounded the corner and-"What the karz..." Why were there matoran bloody here? What could she do? She couldn't kill them, and there were too many to knock off their masks. She had to get into the gym somehow. Unfortunately, she couldn't. She slowly backed away.

IC Kat:

Unsure of what to do, I stepped back.

I looked at Era, "I'm all set, shall we go find the others?"

I pocketed the sedative shot.

IC: Era - Backstab (Terrain Crawler).

"Let's go," I agreed, getting shakily to my feet.

IC: Captured Matoran - Gym.

Seeing the Rahkshi, two of the Matoran broke rank and fled into the corridor, while the other two stood their ground and opened fire with freezing and weakness disks. 

OOC: They're in the Gym, Weider, so I would assume the shout refers to no one in specific but rather the many Rahkshi therein.

IC: Vlad / Gym

Vlad remained purposefully ignorant of the tension between Vaalku, Deadeye, and the rest building nearby. It wasn't his fight, and if he let himself grow angry, he would be all too likely to go on another hungry rampage.

So instead he sat down at the bench, Playing Enormous Living-Stone Organs For Dummies situated in the music stand built into the organ, and flipped it open. So far, so good. He diligently read through the first page or so, getting at last to the part where he would have to play. It was a simple instruction, just one key, easy to do correctly. He melodramatically lowered his hand to the keyboard to press the note -

and was interrupted by a Matoran shout.

Though frustrated at the interruption, he leapt up to see a group of Matoran near the entrance, his view of them unhindered by the barrier Revenge had summoned by virtue of his distance from the group around the furnace. He liked Matoran, they didn't mind light and had been friendly to him in the past. Maybe some of them would even recognize him. But what the Karz were they doing here? And what might his fellow Rahkshi do to them?

The Vorahk stood and, despite Ivan giving him an ominous squeak, slowly began to walk over to them, hands raised in the universal gesture of harmlessness (though, if you thought about it, the Cloak of Umbra draped over his arms might have served to make him appear larger and more threatening. Then again, the cloak was glowing, and to Matoran the light might mean an ally...) "Hello?" he asked, as smoothly and unthreateningly as his Rahkshi tongue could muster.

But even as he did, the disks began to fly. "Wait!" he called out, clumsily dodging one. "Do any of you speak Rahkshi?"

Ic Poly:

We gripped the ceiling of the Gym  with claw and foot, watching the spectacle below.

We had sent our Infected one to our room, he was currently hiding within the armor of the late Dallior.

A grin split our face as the Matoran opened fire upon the other Rahkshi.

Once more, we were the observer.

IC Kat:

"You feeling okay?" I asked, flexing my wrist experimentally.

IC: Captured Matoran - Gym.

One of the Rahkshi - a fearsome creature draped in a menacing cloak - was approaching them, shouting in its garbled Kraata-speak. Backing away from the terrifying monstrosity, the duo focused their fire on him.

IC: Era - Backstab (Terrain Crawler).

"I'll be fine," I tried to sound confident, but in truth, I wasn't sure. I'm not weak....

IC: Revenge-Gym

"Rider! Are you okay!"

IC: Melody-Hallways

Melody wandered around aimless and sad.  Noting was going her way, she headed towards the library without realizing where she actually was.

IC: Mortsia

Mortsia saw the matoran enter the gym, and start opening fire. Then he saw a Rahkshi of- light? Try to communicate with the matoran. Unfortunately, that did not seem to work, as they continued to shoot. Mortsia climbed upon the wall, and scampered over to where the matoran were.

IC: Alpha/Crawler

"Don't forget me Kat."

I took one of the sedatives, and attempted to pin Punch with my halberd. Of course, he dodged, but mid-dodge was the perfect opportunity to jab him with the needle. Needless to say, he went down.

"Suvak?" I asked, as I brought him to a place to rest. "What's wrong with him?"

OOC: Sticking to Punch's Current RGB personality.

IC Kat:

"Era, if you're worn, grab a booster shot, against visorak, we're gonna need every advantage."

I nodded to Alpha, still wishing she'd changed her armor up a bit. My heart still sped up every time I looked at her. And not in a good way.

I looked around, "Fang?"

IC: Nightmare

"What der hey!" He Yelled Ducking behind his Chair to escape the Discs.

IC: Fang - Crawler (Team Backstab)

Fang staggered over to an open bed and was just about to sit down...

"Fang?"

He sighed and straightened up to peer through the door. He couldn't just refuse Kat's summons. "Yes?" he called, trying to hide his weariness.

IC: Era - Backstab (Terrain Crawler).

"I said I'll be fine," I tried to sound more confident this time, "let's just go." 

IC Kat:

"Oh, jeez, there you are." I said, jumping slightly. I unstrapped venom from my back, handing it over to him. "It took a bit of damage, but it should be an easy fix." I gave an apologetic shrug.

"If you're feelin' up to it, we could use a hand," I gave him a once over, "Though, maybe some rest would do you some good. Grab a booster if you're coming with, okay?"

IC: Kuma

"WAIT!!! STOP!!!" Kuma carved the Matoran word for peace in the floor with his staff, dropped it and extended his hand in what he hoped was recognized as a gesture of peace.

IC: Alpha/Crawler

I picked up a few more sedatives and booster shots to give to the Rahkshi that we could save, if they could be saved.

IC: Vlad / Gym

Why did they hate him so? He had been in their village many times, and not once done them wrong!

Vlad leapt out of the way of the incoming disks, but the Cloak of Umbra proved to be his undoing. The flourishing cloak trailed behind him, and a Kanoka of freeze struck one of the larger lightstones, activating it. A block of ice sprang up from the point of impact, engulfing Vlad's foot and leaving him rather encumbered.

Foot literally frozen in midair, he had no way to dodge any further disks, so he commanded the Gym to summon up a small barricade between himself and the Matoran. Then he thought to have added a deep engraving in huge Matoran letters, hopefully visible to the unfortunate Matoran: CEASE FIRE, WE'RE NOT ALL EVIL!

To his fellow students (blasted fools, it was all their fault that the Matoran hated them to begin with) he called out, "Don't hurt zem! It vill only make thinks vorse!" He pulled Avenger from a fold in his cloak (though he'd rather not draw a weapon now lest he further upset the Matoran, he was theoretically hidden from their view) and began to chip away at the ice block. He had to free his foot...

IC: Captured Matoran - Gym/Hallway.

The very ground itself had come to the Rahkshi's defence. Panicked, the two remaining Matoran fled into the hallway, following their companions. What was this place?

IC: Kuma

"Well-intentioned but ill- considered Vlad.". Kuma followed after the Matoran scribbling the word peace onto a piece of parchment. Kuma ran and easily overtook the tiny legs of the Matoran, held up his hand as if telling them to stop and gave one the parchment.

IC: Revenge-Gym

"You think I want to hurt them?" Revenge shouted back.  "I don't want it to get any worse and we better get them back to their village before it does get worse!"

IC: Captured Matoran - Hallway.

Hearing one of the monsters coming up behind them, the Matoran quickened their pace. As Kuma overtook them, the two Matoran opened fire, while their companions up ahead turned around and did the same, desperate to help their friends. 

IC Poly:

Purpose. Bountiful and rich were we with it.

We dropped from the ceiling, landing among our fellow Rahkshi.

"Brothers! The people of Nynrah attack us here in our very home! Will we allow this to stand?!"

IC: Kuma

Kuma was hit by a teleportation disk and came closer to the Matoran which was probably the least trouble he could get into from this. He reached down to pick up one of the Matoran and held the parchment in front of his face.

IC: Revenge-Gym

Revenge turned to face Poly.  "Yea, and they looked lost and confused.  It would be better to just get them back home without harming them.  Our relations with the Matoran are horrible as it is.

OOC: They were firing Weaken, and freeze disks, Kapura, may want to change that.

IC: Nightmare

"and, They're gone!" Said Nightmare, Standing up from behind his chair,

I hope Shock hadn't gotten hit by the Matoran...

He thought but then...

Wait, if they sounded so surprised about there being Rahkshi, then they hadn't found Shock yet!

He Jumped up and down in happiness for a second.

"Hmm, well, Lets just kill those Matoran, and assume it was a Black Operation. If more come, then we'll talk about an attack on the village." He said to the ceiling dropper.

IC: Revenge-Gym

"No, we won't kill them.  It will only increase the likelyhod of a full scale attack."

IC: Lucid / Roof, Sky

Lucid stood silent for a moment after Vitesse left, lost in some strange thoughts. Then she sighed and said to Jorflaz, "I think I'm going to go get home. Get some rest, maybe something to eat." Then she turned and ran for the edge of the roof, leaping off into the air.

For a moment she merely plunged down. Had she forgotten to fly? Thankfully, Jorflaz called a reminder over the roof, and at the last minute she pressed her feet together and pulled out of the dive. "Thanks Jorflaz!" she called out, as her form gradually receded from her imaginary friend's sight. She was headed for her cave on Nynrah, a good distance from the village and Causeway, and her path wouldn't even take her over the stony spikes or near the realm of Rahkshi's doom.

IC: Vlad / Gym

Vlad shouted in agreement. "I know zose guys, unt zey are not evil! Zey think ve are zer evil vuns."

He let the barricade dissolve back into the floor and did his best to look inspiring with one foot held a foot off of the floor, encased in a block of ice. It wasn't easy. But he continued, "Unt If ve attack zem over zis rather zen trying to make peace vith zem, zen perhaps... perhaps ve vould make zem right. Is zat vhat you vant!?"

OOC: Only two of them were, he never said for the other two amd I figured they fired whatever they had. I can easily edit that it was a weaken disk if Locus needs me to.

IC: Kuma

After giving the Matoran a good look at the parchment, he shoved it into his hand and backed away. He then held his hands up and froze. Maybe they'll understand something a little more action-oriented, Kuma thought.

IC: Captured Matoran - Hallway.

As he was picked up by Kuma, the Matoran lashed out with his sword, aiming for the Rahkshi's faceplate. He saw the note and it only made him angrier. Peace? The monster wouldn't be trying to kill him if it wanted peace. 

The other three Matoran concentrated their fire on the rahk's legs, trying to make the monster let their friend go. 

IC Poly:

"Fools! If we let them escape, they will spread rumor of how weak we are! They will send more and more until this place burns to it's very foundations! We must squash them before they do damage to our glorious home!"

IC: Revenge-Gym

"And you have a better idea?  Look I say we catch them and send them back, and try to avoid harming them."  He turned to Poly.  "And who are you?  Why do you want us to kill them?"

IC: Nightmare

Oh dear. this person again.

"I Want to squash something!" He said cheerfully "Or Someone." 

But what he was really thinking was

I need something to kill after Kuma was taken off the list.

IC: Kuma

Kuma fell to one knee from all the weaken disks but continued to hold his hands up and not move. He bit back a loud curse. Can't they read!? Can't he tell he is holding parchment?! Can't they see I'm raising my hands in surreneder?!

IC: Vlad / Gym

"You idiot!" shouted Vlad back at Poly. "Zat sort of thinkink is vhy zis attack happened in zer first place! Zis vill not end until ve have killed all of zem, zey have killed all of us... or ve have made peace. I know vhich of zose I vant, unt it involves no death."

IC: Nightmare

"Can't we have a few deaths? after all, whats the fun in peace and love?"

IC: Vitesse

Vitesse followed the matoran from a distance, watching Kuma try to solve this with peace. Then, this mysterious Rahkshi dropped down from the ceiling, talking about how the matoran were attacking. That made no sense, though. How did she not see the matoran heading here? Then she realized. These were the guards. "Why would they abandon their post? They were guarding the Causeway."

IC: Captured Matoran - Hallway.

The Rahkshi was weakened! The Matoran that had been grabbed fell to the floor and got shakily to his feet, picking up his sword once more and lashing out at the monster.

These creatures had attacked their village, raided their camp, murdered their friends and abducted them. 

They would show no mercy....

IC: Revenge-Gym

Revenge turned to Nightmare.  "Do you want an entire village of Matoran, armed to the teeth and with who knows what kind of allies storming all over this place!?"

IC Poly:

"We are Legion. For we are many. But even we can see that Peace cannot be garnered by surrender. Unfortunate, but neccesary. We must enforce peace. Your brothers are being struck down this very moment in the halls of our fine home while we babble needlessly."

IC: Nightmare

"Maybeeeee.." He said to (Rider) "After all, imagine all the chaos! All the fun! Imagine it! Wouldn't it be wonderful!" he said, bouncing up and down from all the excitement.
