IC: ZykeZyke shrugged."Like your detective friend said, Edge could be anywhere on this island," he said, "I suggest we start looking."
IC: Zaeron"Alright, but where to start? The murder didn't happen that long ago, so she probably could have only gone one-wahi away, if she fled Le-Wahi at all. So that means she's either in Ko-Wahi, Ta-Wahi, or in the Kumu-Islets."IC: The detective"Or," the detective said. "She could still be in Le-Wahi."IC: The HunterThe hunter walked around town looking for info on the mysterious toa. Finally, he decided to head east to Ta-Wahi via Lake Pala
Lathon shrugged, "You can quick-build it any place-spot." he said. "I don't care-mind." he said. "But I'd much-like my house-hut to be built-made in Le-Koro style." he said, meaning he'd like it out of simple wood, or created from the threes, whatever the Le-Matoran made their huts from, Lathon was an expert when it came to building.OOCI might not have internet for the next couple days, but the past few times I've said that I surprise myself with my dedication to this thing. IC:In the aftermath of the very one-sided fight, Mariko stood outside the doctors hut, where Draeverian had disappeared into. The Toa of...he had no real name for his power, come to think of it. And Toa of unconsciousness just sounded silly. He shook his head. Standing around, waiting like this, often caused his thoughts to wander, to far and often strange places. Places within his own mind, no less. He was so caught up in them that only his sixth sense prevented him from being completely surprised by the sudden arrival of another Toa, stepping up to stand beside him.Mariko looked to his right where the newcomer stood and his eyes grew wide. Next to him, his arms casually crossed in similar manner to his own...stood his brother."Aparangi..." he muttered, surprised. The Hau-wearing black-armoured Toa by his side didn't react at first. Then, he turned his head and looked Mariko in the eyes. "Hey little brother!" he greeted him. That was all it took. The next moment, Aparangi found himself hugged by his team-mate, laughing loudly."How did you find me!?" Mariko finally asked, letting go of the other Toa, who had a small smile on his face by now; not his most used expression. "I wasn't looking for you." he finally replied. "I was looking for places you might show up in.""Clever. Just like always." Mariko acknowledged. Aparangi nodded. "But I expected more of us to be here by now...""I have not seen any of them...I myself woke up only a few days ago, up in the mountains, in the village of ice."Aparangi's expression darkened. "I woke up outside of the village of fire myself...""I am starting to sense a pattern here..." Mariko added. "Indeed." Aparangi agreed. "And we can not use our abilities to find them here...thanks to the dark power holding the island hostage.""Not all of it, but I know what you mean." Mariko nodded. "But come on. We are not on our own here. I want you to meet a few people."Aparanig slowly shook his head. "No. I am on another mission besides our re-assembly.""Like what?"The head-shaking continued. "Not here. Not now."Suddenly, Mariko understood. Or at least guessed what his brother was so secretive about. Spend hundreds of years with the same people and you start to know how to read them."Don't worry. The ones I mean I have met away from here. You can trust them."Aparangi sighed. He didn't like the idea of trusting outsiders, but he knew better than to question Mariko's judgement. "Very well."Mariko nodded with a smile. He softly knocked on the door of the doctors hut. "Drae, do you have a minute? I want you to meet somebody!"

IC: The HunterThe Hunter arrived at Pala-Koro. Walking in the gates, took out his picture of the mysterious toa and started asking people about it. "Can someone help me with this?"

IC: The HunterThe Hunter walked over to tirax. "Excuse me," he said. "Can I ask you something?"
IC: MeviMevi was somewhat surprised by the wounded person getting up so quickly, but it soon replaced by slight disgust at whatever the girl coughed up. The Ta-Matoran tried not to wrinkle her nose at the sight of the black fluid."We got a Le-Koronan doctor, yes," she replied, and nodded her head backwards towards the open gate. "Verik is his name. He's already busy with a patient which I believe was unconscious, though, so if you are not in any immediate danger I think you might have to wait for a few minutes."Mevi offered her hand to the Le-Matoran hunching over in front of her."You were in a bar that burned down, you say? Was this in Le-Koro? What happened? Can you stand?"She aborted her string of questions and smiled."Sorry, I forget to introduce myself. I am Mevi, Ta-Koronan guard and member of the Island Liberation Squad. This is our base, Pala-Koro. Who are you?"IC: [Lumira] - Outside Pala-Koro

IC: The HunterThe Hunter walked around Pala-Koro, trying to find someon who could identify the being in his picture. Finally, he found a matoran (Laki) working on a new hut. "Excuse me," he said. "Could you identify the being inn this picture? (shows him a picture of Heuani)"
ICLaki looked up, "Oh, I'll be sure to quick-help," Laki looked at the picture. The figure looked vaguely familiar, as it Laki had seen him from a distance before. "Sorry, I don't recognize-remember this earth-toa. You should question-ask someone else."
IC: The Hunter"Ok then," as he walked up to Mevi and asked him the same question (the question is: who is this guy? http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2012/171/f/d/fdc0c4254079772ef108cc02c4aaa300-d548lio.jpg)
IC - Decaia - Approaching docks: The smell of the sea gradually dominated the air as Decaia neared the Le-Koran coast. He inhaled deeply, closing his eyes and picturing the cool, pleasant waters in his mind, carefully pushing his way through the foliage. He opened his eyes as the jungle ended, prompting him to come to a stop. Slowly nudging the wet ground at his feet with the ball of his left foot, he observed the docks, looking at the numerous boats tied to the wooden beams and boards. He frowned, noting that many of them--both those that were docked and those that were currently a fair distance away from the shore--were fishing boats. That was not what he needed.Silent, he continued forward, moving to walk along the edge of the water, thinking...IC - Decaia - Jungle Floor: Slowly, Decaia lowered himself to the ground through a rope of water, using his elemental powers to hold himself aloft inside of the flowing column of liquid protodermis. As his feet touched the soft, muddy jungle floor, the water dissipated, falling in a miniature rain around him. The Toa of Water began walking, shrugging off the beads of water that had appeared on his cape and armor. How long had he been in this section of the island--in Ga- and Le-Wahi? He couldn't remember--to Decaia, it felt like several months, though that simply could not be possible. Regardless, it was time to get moving. The other sections of the island held just as much value as these two did, if not more. But how to get there...? Decaia did not like the idea of walking across the entire island, so what else could he do?The answer was simple: a boat. There were several docks on the coast of Le-Wahi, and there were numerous boats at each, some of them often serving as ferrys to other portions of Mata-Nui. All he had to do was find one.Pulling his hood over his head, Decaia continued on, heading south...
OOC: Where on earth did a picture of Heuani come from? Ah well, I can roll with it...IC:Heuani could almost taste it on the air: he was being followed, and it made the back of his neck itch. On his way back down the mountain the past evening, the Toa of Shadow had noticed a moving shape near the pile of rocks he'd happened across earlier. This person, silhouetted against the snow, was toying with the arrangement of rocks just as Heuani had hours earlier. When the being glanced up, he inevitably saw Heuani - Heuani had no cover, he was black against a field of white - and his body language had been almost comically obvious as he looked away from the rocks: he was startled by the sight of Heuani in the distance, and Heuani could tell. But Heuani had pretended not to see the person... he wanted to have a little fun; this was, after all, his day off. So he kept walking through the snow, back to the being near the rocks. As the Toa of Shadow continued down the mountain through the night, he noted that the stranger was following from a distance. Heuani would subtly look over his shoulder, notice the motion of the dark shape behind him as it darted too quickly behind a rock. Obviously this being was an amateur when it came to playing hunter. Heuani, on the other hand, had had plenty of experience. Once he finally made it to the base of the mountains, where they met the dense jungle of Le-Koro, Heuani walked a distance into the foliage, and sunk seamlessly into a shadow. He reappeared twenty or so minutes later. Based on the crushed leaves and clipped branches ahead of where he had disappeared, Heuani could tell that his intended pursuer had passed in front of him, bulling through the foliage in search of the disappeared trail. So the follower became the followed. Heuani shadow-jumped from tree to tree, taking full advantage of the growing darkness. The jungle around him was full of the noise of insects and birdcalls, but among these was also a distinct rustling ahead. Heuani smiled silently to himself and followed the rustling noises.Eventually, the intended hunter reached an large clearing, in which resided a walled village. By then, dawn had come with its rosy fingers, and Heuani hung back under the cover of the trees at the edge of the clearing. He watched his careless hunter go inside the village's gates. Heuani walked out of the jungle too, and strode casually through the gates. The guardsmen had clearly been at the hive attack, because they instinctually recoiled from Heuani, and screamed the alarm. Heuani grinned apologetically as everyone near the gates whirled around to look at him. "Sorry if I'm disturbing something," Heuani said charmingly. He pointed at his hunter, and beckoned with the same finger. "You, with the picture, come here."Unable to resist the Toa of Shadow's tone, which was lazy and enticing, the hunter shuffled towards Heuani. "Give me that," Heuani said evenly, gesturing to the picture. The hunter handed it over mutely. Heuani looked briefly at the likeness, and then looked back up at the hunter and smiled. The hunter couldn't help but smile back. "It's alright, I suppose," Heuani shrugged, looking back at the picture. "But I never remember posing for you...? Tsk, tsk, you tried to draw this from memory, didn't you? Doesn't quite do me justice."The hunter stared purposelessly at the ground, avoiding Heuani's disappointed gaze. Heuani lifted the hunter's chin sharply with his thumb and forefinger, and peered intently into the other Toa's eyes. "It's rude not to look people in the eye when they're talking to you," he said earnestly. He looked back at the picture. "Also, you may want to be a littler lighter with the charcoal in future. The lines are, as of now, somewhat too thick to convey my elegance." The former hunter now found himself cornered by Heuani's eyes again, and he shrank from them. Heuani again used his hand to draw back the hunter's focus."But," Heuani sighed, rolling his eyes to the crowd, which was still keeping a terrified distance, "Why am I giving him advice? It's rather too late for that, I think."Heuani, still holding the hunter's chin, relaxed his grip until he had his whole hand underneath the hunter's jaw, which he stroked pensively. Through that physical contact with the Toa of Earth, Heuani channeled his Kanohi Felnas, disrupting the hunter's control over his element. Suddenly, the hunter found that the ground beneath him was sinking, shifting aside, intent to bury him alive. The hunter tried to break the physical contact, but found Heuani's fingers suddenly like metal. The Toa of Shadow grinned with his mouth, but not his eyes, as the hunter sank deeper and deeper into the ground. When the hunter was about down to his waist in the hole, Heuani watched as the earth compressed inwards, burying the hunter's entire lower half and effectively trapping him. Heuani let go of his victim's chin at last, and as the hunter tried to squirm free, Heuani willed the hunter's shadow, a hazy morning shade, to separate from his body. The thing, weightless and without depth, was like a silhouette on a screen suddenly granted life by Heuani's control. In its hand was a crumpled rectangle - the shadow of the picture. Heuani separated this from the hunter's shade-body, and let the larger shadow drift back to its natural position. He toyed with the shade-paper, flattening it in midair without touching it, pacing, drifting the paper before him as he did so.By now, the hunter had recovered enough elemental control to free himself from the hole, and he immediately rushed at Heuani, who had his back turned to the freed being. But before the hunter could take two steps, the shade-paper had darted through the air over Heuani's shoulder, edge first, at the hunter's throat. Heuani didn't turn around until he heard the decapitated body flop to the ground. He strode over to the corpse, and pried the crumpled picture from softened fingers. "No more unlicensed portraits," he said, tossing the drawing up in the air behind him. "You might earn yourself a papercut." The shade-paper tore its real counterpart to shreds, and then faded. Heuani walked back out the gates, turned the corner, and melted into the dark lee of the wall.
IC: Hanix"Here is the plan, half of us search in the northern regions, while the rest search the southern," she said, "Most likely they would be here, but it's also likely they would leave the place,"IC: ZakamaZakama exited the village and walked off to find Hanix, bored out of his mind.
IC: Draeverian JoskiirDraeverian twitched his ears at the approach of the other being. The conversation, as far as he could tell, was cryptic but help a certain level of importance. So, Mariko's found a teammate. That's one down. And they're all showing up at the koros. Tripping, Rivet, tripping. He slipped off the wall, letting his knees relax from their straightened posture as he did so."Well Doc," he said before Mariko even mentioned his presence, "I've got someone to be impressing, so you just get to your dressing and fix up that matoran, I've done my duty and hanging here is boring. I gotta' get some action from the back section, see some toa for a little fight session." He nodded, picked up his stuff and spun to the door. "Oh yeah, I'll fix this too, so I guess I'll be back soon." With that he kicked the door open with full force, knocking the busted whicker slat off its hinges and into the muddy street. The sound carried by the explosion, and the toa's responses immediately brightened up Draeverian's mental world. "Someone call on me-oh, DJ the He-ro? Was'-ap brotha'!" He said, his cast leg still parallel to the ground from where he kicked out the door. Dropping his stuff into a heap on the by now ruined entry closure, he tossed a fist forward for pounding. Best make a strong impression.
OOC: Darylhii and Kulamus from Po-Wahi.IC: [Darylhii]Darylhii dragged Kulamus into the region, and promptly stuffed the sack with holes into a tree.
IC: Still unconscious, Kulamus was stuffed into the tree.OOC: Filler post.
IC: (Doc Verik)Well I took another glance over this new matoran. She had burns all over her body. That was easily remedied by some salves that I began drapping over her body and then placing bandages around those to hold them in. I lifted her upon after placing my stethoscope to her chest. Her lungs were full of something, but it seemed like she was breathing, if weakly. I patted her back trying to knock the smoke out of her lungs. If that didn't work I might have to do...ugh...CPR. I didn't have the mouth guard for it, unfortunately.OOC: If she isn't breathing this will require CPR. Doc Verik
IC: Zaeron"Alright, should we go now?"IC: The Detective"So, who's going where?"
IC - Decaia - Docks: Hm...Decaia had grown bored with pondering his situation. The fact of the matter was, unfortunately, that there were too many fishing boats, and not enough transport vessels. If he was going to find someone who could take him away from this wretched jungle, he was going to have to get rid of the useless beings around here. That, or go further down, where there were less people who were interested in the fish, but where was the fun in that? Walking the rest of the way would simply be a bother at this point.Luckily, Decaia had a way of getting rid of people.Slinking back into the cover of the trees, he hid himself, staring out upon the waters. The Toa of Water raised a hand, focusing on the ocean waves, closing his eyes as he willed the waters to begin swirling--slowly, at first, before beginning to pick up speed, spreading out, becoming all-encompassing. It stretched toward the shore, and then further out, lapping up against the dozens of fishing boats in the area. Matoran screamed as the whirlpool rocked them about, sending fish fleeing in every direction.Decaia smiled slightly. This wouldn't be enough to kill anyone, persay. No; it would simply drive off the fishermen, would simply reveal someone who would be willing to give him a lift. After all, why bother asking people for something when you could simply make what you need appear in front of you?IC - Decaia - Approaching docks: The smell of the sea gradually dominated the air as Decaia neared the Le-Koran coast. OOC: Enara from Ga-Wahi.IC: (Enara)As the clime changed from slightly cool to swelteringly humid and hot, Enara knew she was in Le-Wahi, and deep enough in the jungle to evade the pursuers. Problem was, carrying the unconscious Toa over her soldier had become very challenging at this point. She decided to stop at a tree a good distance from the Koro and the jungle's border, took a length of rope from a pouch and tied Uar to it, removing his mask. She then started thinking of how she was going to get herself and the Toa off the island, unnoticed. Maybe I can find someone in Xa-Koro... the Vortixx thought as she waited idly.
OOC: Well, that kill wasn't unexpected at all, but that it happened right here and now was.IC: Mevi (Pala-Koro)There was a stunned silence as the Toa of Shadow vanished as quickly as he had arrived. The only sign that he had even been there - though a screamingly obvious one at that - was the headless body of an unknown Toa of Earth, small bits of torn paper still flopping lazily around in the air above him. Mevi was speechless. She had raised her weapon in defense, but there had been no need for it. They had all been utterly helpless in stopping the dark Toa when he suddenly appeared in front of them once more. The horrors that had happened by the foot of the Nui-Rama hive was still fresh on their minds, and so the Ta-Matoran couldn't help but remember Trakuda, whose spear she still clutched in her hand. The Ko-Matoran had been stabbed and killed by a Rahkshi, but not before making sure that the vile creature died with him. Now, Mevi was wondering is she should not have done the same - flung herself at this Toa while he was distracted by his playful murder, probably sacrificing herself but perhaps also wounding him enough for others to take him down in that instant. But Makuta's servant had slipped away into the shadow, leaving only a corpse and a clear message:None of you are safe. Finally gathering her thoughts enough to speak, Mevi stammered a short sentence. "W-what now?"
IC: Shalia (Docks, Le-Wahi)Le-Wahi was humid.Shalia stepped off the boat and instinctively pushed off the hood of her hoodie; 80% of all body heat escaped from the head and ears, and in a place like this, on a night like this, all the body heat in the world could have escaped Shalia's noggin and she still would have been unable to truly feel comfortable. Maybe once she got out of the jungle, things would change. But she doubted it. They never did, after all. With only a silent, shy nod to the guy at the docks, Shalia set out towards Le-Koro.-Teezy
OOC: I officially had a character in two places at the same time!I believe this one of those things that you shouldn't be proud of, but still are.IC: [Lumira] - Doc Verik's OfficeSomehow or other, I managed to look up and see yet another Kanohi, this time, a Pakari."Um," I managed to say, staring up at the mask (which I could only assume was attached to someone), "Hi?"I was suddenly aware that I was covered in something vaguely sticky, and I was able to crane my neck to see bandages covering much of my body."Well," I croaked out, "This is new."-Void
IC: (Doc Verik)"Good to see you're awake. I'm Doc Verik. I administered salves and ointment to your burns and wrapped bandages around them to hold them there for a bit." I grabbed a canteen of water. "Are you thirsty?" I asked motioning to the canteen in my hand. She looked like she definitely needed a drink. Right now she was under my care, why were woman my only patients recently. Although Turok was apparently an "experiment". An experiment I had no intention of going through with.
IC - Decaia - Docks: The screams of numerous beings filled the air, along with shouts and curses as the various fishing boats attempted to get through the randomly gurgling waters around them. Decaia could tell that they could tell that the ocean was being manipulated, but they were too busy trying to avoid sinking to put any real effort into finding him--as it should be. That left him to play with their lives as he pleased. And play he did.Boats were turning over every now and then, People were knocked into the water, tossed about it the lazily swirling currents. A lucky few managed to dock without a hitch, prompting Decaia to send miniature spouts of water up from beneath the docks, drenching them even further. Someone ran towards the village, screaming about water demons. And yet, somehow, all of this was still so boring to the Toa of Water. Where were the heroes who would try to find and subdue him? Where were the raiders who would jump at this opportunity to help cause more mayhem? He cut his connection to the water, prompting it to come to a swift and uneven stop, the whirlpool dissipating into the surrounding area.Decaia sighed, moving further down the coast. At this point, roughing up a bunch of Matoran simply wasn't worth the effort. He needed to find something more... productive... to do...IC - Decaia - Docks: Hm...Decaia had grown bored with pondering his situation. IC-Nokth:Decaia soon ran into Nokth, the Akrainid having watched what happened interestedly. He then turned to the Toa of Water near him, keeping his podao to the side, not ready to use it to attack with."Was that you, who started all of that commotion?" He asked Decaia, his spines seeming to straighten in anticipation.
IC: LathonLathon nodded, "I'm sure you will." he said before turning away. He turned to Nawal, "Where will you stay?" he asked the Matoran. "There's always room in my hut." he offered. "Besides, your part Le-Matoran now." he said bumping Nawal on his green arm and grinning.IC"I will do my ever-best to make a good-worthy hut," Laki said with a short salute, then spun around and went back to his pile of supplies, starting on the new hut."
IC (Nawal):"I would like it if I could stay in your hut." Nawal said, rubbing his fake arm. "Just untill I earn enough widgets to get my own." Suddenly, a sharp pain shot up his left shoulder, as if his arm was twisted backwards, and burning. He clutched his artificial arm as he cringed in pain. He was all out of the painkilling herbs that the doctor gave him. "Phantom limb" Nawal said through his teeth.
IC - Decaia - Coast: Decaia stared in surprise at the Akrainid's sudden appearance, shrugging it off after a moment. He must have missed the being's presence in his bored wallowing. The Toa of Water let his hands rest at his sides, thinking briefly about how to respond to Nokth's question. The handles of his brand-new tomahawks brushed against the backs of his hands, ready to serve him at a moment's notice."Define 'commotion,'" he said at length, his voice a dull, almost sleepy noise on the wind, dissonant with his otherwise careful posture. "And its worth to you."IC-Nokth:Decaia soon ran into Nokth, the Akrainid having watched what happened interestedly. He then turned to the Toa of Water near him, keeping his podao to the side, not ready to use it to attack with."Was that you, who started all of that commotion?" He asked Decaia, his spines seeming to straighten in anticipation.
OOC: Akrainid, not Skakdi. There's a difference.
IC-Nokth:Nokth looked at Decaia with a curious expression, quickly noting the Toa's weapons and posture."The 'commotion' of the water going crazy and sinking ships, seeming of its own accord," the Akrainid growled. "Its worth to me? I don't quite like it when Toa decide to mess with the Matoran like that...mainly because you're supposed to be their protectors, and yet you do enough to muck things up for them than you do to help."
OOC: Eh, spines, Skakdi. Assumption.
It has been corrected.IC - Decaia - Coast: "Oooh, yeah--that," Decaia said lazily, briefly glancing back at the water. His expression turned to one of complete and utter apathy. He frowned, looking at the spined being before him. "I'll leave the extent of my involvement to the imagination. Though considering the proximity of me, a Toa of Water, to the part of the ocean that decided to take on a mind of its own a few moments ago..." He shrugged, beginning to move past Nokth."It's cool, though," he said simply. "No harm done. No one died. Heck, I'm sure they'll have those sunken boats back within the next few hours--I'm not the only Toa of Water around."The Toa's head was busily preparing for an attack--an attempt by yet another do-gooder to subdue him, the oft-seen movement of the light-side players in this anarchic game of good and evil. He would try to bring Decaia to justice, casting them into some great battle of which both would presumably emerge alive, though both badly beaten. Decaia had seen it many, many times already, in the actions of that Snelly character and his friends, and in the myriad of attempts by Toa Raehn to capture him.Luckily, this time he had an entire ocean at his side--literally.
IC-Nokth:Nokth flung out his podao, stopping Decaia from moving too far."I'm not finished," the Akrainid said. "Tell me: Why exactly would you have done that? It seems as though it didn't really serve a purpose, so what was the point?"
