IC:Frii'glokk walked over to the billboard and read the rules. "Well, I guess that means I'm a member of this 'ILS'" He mumbled. He considered what he should do next.
IC (Nawal):"Hey, Lathon." Nawal said, "I have been thinking, and I would like to see what became of my village, Ihu-Koro. It's a very small village a few bio's away from Ko-Koro. I bet they'd be surprised to see me, especially Serbi."
IC: Lathon"Ihu-Koro?" Lathon said cocking his head. "I must admit I've never heard of it, but I haven't spent much time in Ko-Wahi." he admitted. "Maybe its time to fix that." he said. "Ihu-Koro it is, I'm sure it would be nice to reunite with your old friends." he said.
IC (Nawal):"Old friends? To me, I just saw them yesterday." Nawal said, walking out of the gates of Pala-Koro eager to be reunited with the people of his village.OOC: Nawal to Ko-Wahi
IC:Frii'Glokk went to the treeline to do target practice at trees. OOC: Open for interaction
OOC: So, who let the dog out?IC: The DogHonestly. He has me sprint from one end of this baked island to another just to get a coded letter that says "'Inkies have seven days'? I mean, this is getting ridiculous! There's a fine line between slave and dog, and he just seems to love pushing me towards the latter with every blazed note. What point?! The Inkies are just a bunch of psychos with glowing superpowers, and NOW I'm stuck here with no backup trying not to die. Just great! Great! "GREAT!"He slapped his hands over his mouth, but the cursed word had already flooded his hideout. With a great snort, he felt the hot breath of the huntress through the copse of tangled vines he'd so unluckily fallen into. This is a vicious cycle. The horns slammed through like an engine of war, the Kane Ra's massive skull decimating any cover the matoran may have had. Why do they hate red so much? It's not my fault I'm wearing a red coat. He untangled himself from the mess rapidly, each appendage acting like a spider on rewind, arms flailing just as rapidly as his toes. Even his nose twitched in frustration of its host's position in life. Another snort. Oh, Mata-Nui no. Just give me another second! The bull dug it's hoof into the ground, the globular snot dripping from its nostrils. It's body had already started to decay under the power of the KauKau embedded in its left eye socket, parts of its body showing that should not have been. The grisly rahi was utterly mad, lost to the powers of the Shadowed Being the matoran refused to think about even as he clambered backwards like a crab along the marshy turf. Rolling over himself in his haste, he regained his footing, coming to a crouch as he did so in the moment of choice. The world slowed to the speed of molasses dripping from a jar. With a bellow which frightened what few birds were still in the area to flight, the puppet bull rushed forwards in blind rage. Thirty years of training became second nature. He rushed forwards towards the charging bullet, the two entities now in a game of chicken, well, a game of chicken between a bug and a steamroller. The bug dove outwards and under as the bull charge on, hitting the ground in a perfect dive roll. Instantly, the po-koroan was back on his feet and trashing through the jungle, the bellows of insanity hurtling in the distance. The average time it takes for a bull to realign it's attack angle is four seconds. Thank Mata-Nui I'm not so heavy. I just need to get up within four seconds. He jumped, ripping a climbing hook from it's place in his thigh bag. With a dull thunk, he embedded himself six feet up a tree. Well, it's a start. His fighting knife was soon gripped in a reverse position in his left hand, and distance was gained. The bull smashed its way through the clearings in pursuit, but the red coat had already left it's line of sight. At least it doesn't look up, He thought, closing his eyes for a split second. So, Ishi, Now what are you going to do?IC: Draeverian JoskiirHe shifted on his feet in the firelight. The smith had been standing their just gazing at Rivet long enough. Time for some actual work. Little did he know Ackune was also blind."So, chop chop, let's get this over with. The sooner you finish the sooner I'll be off keeping Ko-koro safe."
IC: Dail looked down at this "Pala Koro." She disapproved. The defenses were much too close to the forest line to be effective in any way except stopping a foot approach. There were no watchtowers to be seen, and no preliminary or second lines of defense. An assassin (or a suitably-composed army) could get in with flawless ease, and she decided then and there to show the "Liberation Squad" the error of their ways. She used her Mask of Illusion to conceal herself from sight, then leapt over the wall in a bounding leap. She made a three-point landing and froze, allowing her camo to re-establish itself, then crept slowly and silently through the camp toward the largest building, which appeared to be their headquarters. She Made sure to keep tabs on everyone she could see, and moved only when no one was looking. At long, agonizing last, she finally reached the door to the building, and waited until someone went to open the door. She followed the person inside before they could shut the door, then decloaked and tapped the person on the shoulder."I'm interested in this 'ILS' of yours." She said. "How would I go about joining?"OOC: That may be anyone. ![]()
OOC: I call it. Any ninjas do not count.IC-Kal:Kal froze, quickly turning around with his rahkshi staff in hand, until he heard the Toa's words, visibly relaxing."Good, I was afraid I'd have to fight somebody for a second," he said with an easy grin. "Basically, there's a clipboard out front. Go sign your name on it and you're gold."
IC: Dail nodded. "A strange way of joining, but fine. As for fighting someone, you might have noticed your defenses leak like a sieve. You might want to amend that."![]()
IC-Kal:"This village isn't really finished-after all, we were just gone blowing the Rama hive to bits. Not much time to work on anything. However," he said, slightly condescending, "If you had noticed all of the workers outside, you'd have noticed that we've gone on to fixing them up."
IC:"Ahem, that would be way we all those workers swarming around," Voriki said, literally appearing from thin air. "Oh wait, Kal here's already told you, oops."He held out his hand to the new recruit. "Maddy's off in Ko-Koro right now, so I'm afraid you'll have to wait to meet our leader. I'm Voriki, welcome to the Island Liberation Squad."
IC: Dail nodded, taking the Toa's hand and shaking it. "Nice to meet you as well." She said. "Regardless of your construction, you still do not seem to have considered a few things. The treeline, for example. It would take a few Fire Toa only an hour or two, and it would give you a much greater area in which you could see approaching enemies. Traps, such as ditches and covered holes with spikes in them, and autonomous defenses. Those would be invaluable in finding hidden, but inexperienced enemies who try to approach. Another suggestion: dig a ditch in front of the wall. it will increase the effective height of the wall." ![]()
IC-Kal:"Ah, but don't forget," Kal said, still smiling, "We can use the trees to our advantage as well. You just have to know how to set up the traps."OOC: Ewok logic go! EDIT: Also, Ben, I thought I was the one who was always randomly dropping into stuff.
IC: Dail raised an eyebrow. "It's safer to put the traps further out in the jungle and simply give yourselves more time to respond to an enemy." She replied.OOC: The Ewoks were the attackers, need I remind you.

IC: Hanix"Alright Zyke...and Zaeron was it? Follow me," she said, "We start in the main jungles of his Wahi,"
IC: Akree"Alright." Akree pointed at The Detective. "You, with the ugly face, follow me. We'll search the slums. If they're still in the Koro that would be where they'd go." He turned to Hanix. "Le-Koro has slums, right?"
IC (Avya)I laughed as Isfel sidestepped my curiosity about the stampede. Both he and Ara'kas seemed reluctant to talk about it, but I decided not to press it. I was sure I'd hear about it sometime. And then Isfel was the one asking questions. "My friends? Well, I met them in Ga-Wahi, and travelled with them to Ta-Koro, where we did some... stuff." I shot a sly glance at Isfel. "I haven't seen them for awhile though; running into them last night was a complete surprise. I don't even really know what they've been up to since I last saw them."IC: "Stampede?" Isfel stopped walking for a second, then realization dawned on his face. "Ohh, that stampede. Yeah, not one of my fondest memories." "I'll tell you later." he added hastily, in case Avya wanted to hear more. "So, what are these friends of yours like?"
IC: (Uar)Uar shook awake. He was tied to a tree, and he could see a Vortixx sitting against another one nearby, sleeping. Taking the opportunity, the Toa of Ice willed a small, sharp sliver of ice to form, which he quickly grasped and used to cut his bonds. He then immediately activated his Kakama, the pain in his leg having subsided to a low throb.OOC: Uar to Ga-Wahi.
OOC: I'll probably only be able to make about one post a day. Can someone tell me about any major events I missed?I.C. Vompran awoke from the coma of inactivity. He looked around disoriented trying to figure out what's going on.
OOC: Sorry about that, wasn't online for a while.IC: AckuneThe thing was, the smith was both blind and quite old. It didn't make for a good combination. Finally, and with a bit of help from his Kanohi, the Toa of Fire accepted Rivet and turned the blade over in his hands. "She's a fine piece of work," the smith commented, noting how the Toa had used "she" and "her" instead of "it". "I'll do my best to fix her up."The Ta-Toa ran his hand, the real one, over the sword, trying to get a general feel of the weapon and what would be needed to do to fix it. The problem was, he didn't actually know what the blade had looked like before, so it would be a bit more then interesting to get it back into usable shape. "Before I get started," the maroon-amored Toa said, glancing at the Toa infront of him with his white eyes, "I'd like to know what she looked like before, so that way I don't end up making it worse."After a moment, he added, "And it my be best if you tell me, as I can no longer see."OOC: Alright, so if I've got this straight, Rivet is basicly like a set of pincers, the blade folding up to form a sword, or folding down to form a shield?
OOC: Hm, yeah, that's a way to put it, Gravity. Also, I think Veef will be afk for a few days...ALso, just for our help, this is all taking place the same night as Heuani killing Hunter... Although some things seem to be rushing past in a blur... We'll have to time skip eventually.. Maybe after the blade is forged we say x number of days have passed?IC: Draeverian JoskiirDraeverian suddenly paused, a large smile growing across his face, a laugh bursting forth in resonance throughout the forge, throwing off the power of Ackune's mask momentarily. "That's," He said, clapping his hands together, "Probably the funniest thing! I'm blind too, so what should we do?" He wiped a tear that trickled past the leather band away. My ribs ache now. Stepping closer into the warmth and away from the night Draeverian set about explaining his partner's physical qualities."She's got a long, full, tang stretching from her pommel outwards, like this," Draeverian moved Ackune's hands down the handle to show what he meant, the blind leading the blind by touch, "So the gears connect here, and then there again," he touched each point on the base of the blades, "there's the lever here, yeah, that, well if it was working it'd make her fangs fold back. However, she's not gonna' do it right now. Too bent outa' shape, catch my drift?" He chuclked at his own bad joke. "If you want a good mental image, take a tuning fork and grow it, turn it into a mother of all notes and you'll know it: Rivet's my girl and she's the best in the world. Just gotta' set up her proportions. Don't blow it."A more serious aura enveloped the toa of sound as he reached for the pommel. He stroked the leather hilt once, feeling the twinge of cold steel on the base. There it is. Reaching back, he pulled his finger up to his mask, removing the glove as he did. With a sudden movement, Draeverian forcefully bit his own pinky, causing blood to splatter inside his mouth. A short cry of pain was all that happened, his left hand twitching by his side, forced to stand watch as its counter was punished. With a quick yank, he drew his hand out and slapped it down on the pommel, twisting slightly to let the blood flow across the metal surface. Strange glyphs began to appear on the base of the pommel, and with a soft pull, it came off as a long cylinder filled with a liquid substance. It was clear, but bubbles rushed to the top as he tipped it over itself. Pocketing the oddity, and quickly cauterizing his finger in the nearby fire with a grunt of pain, Draeverian said;"Okay, you're good to go."IC: The DogThe Bull's bellows resounded below as Ishi flopped into the crook of the lowest branches, his brow dripping with sweat from exertion and the jungle's natural murk. Never, ever, do that again, Ishi chastised himself with sincerity. I'm not wearing red in Kane-Ra territory anymore. As if to emphasis the fact, he ripped off his coat, exposing the brown integral armor of his native element. The large external frame pack he carried with him was quickly nailed to the limb he laid on, and within minutes Ishi had begun his preparations. The beautiful alto flute, fighting knife, and trisection staff all went into the confines of the flax pack, the flute wrapped tightly in his long coat to avoid damaging the keys. A small meal was consumed, nothing more than fruit and nuts, the ripeness dribbling down his chin with each bite. Mata-Nui knows I could just sit here forever, but information calls. Okay Ishi, let's do this right this time. He wiped his hands on the moss around him, then pulled out the jar. It was black, revealing none of its secrets upon first inspection, but the lid popped off with the unclasping of the metal fastener and a light *WHUP* of air. Ishi dipped his finger inside and withdrew a light powder the same color as his armor. This'll do the trick famously. The ground sand, nuts, and saliva mixture was adhesive, sticking itself to the orange stripe of his armor like a coat of paint. Ishi pulled out his canteen and dumped it in a small dish to act as a mirror while he worked on his disguise. The stripe running the length of his body disappeared after the third coat and a few hours of work. Finally satisfied with the job, he moved on to the next part of his disguise. Reaching for his pack, he ripped off one of the arm straps, folded it, then wrapped it diagonally over his head, covering his odd orange eye beneath his komau. He smiled at the mirror and rubbed charcoal on a few teeth for good measure. Well, if I didn't look like my uncle twice removed's roommate. With a smirk, Ishi pulled the single strap across his shoulder and stood back up, taking a walk down the length of the branch. It sloped gradually, revealing to be a stairway of sorts into the canopy of the jungle from the marshy ground. Perfect. Everything is happening just as I'd love it too. The next thing I'd need is a kohlii player to walk by..."You're joking, right?"The natural stair led straight to the Le-wahi jungle road, and there, alone, was that darnedest thing: a kohlii player. Maybe I really pleased Mata-Nui with the incense back at Le-suva... Then again, I was just letting my contact know who I was. I should keep doing that..."Hello there!" Ishi called out with a gruff voice, his right leg falling into a limp as he trolled down the remaining few feet of branch. The matoran spun around in a defensive posture, revealing the shield he carried in his left hand. Le-koro goalie. Perfect. No known tournaments for a week or so. Seeing the limping matoran, the goalie seemed to soften up, a traditional le-koroan grin -- the one stretching from mask edge to mask edge with a row of perfect teeth that begged to be broken -- and he bounced over to Ishi unknowing of the trap he'd just sprung.
IC: LathonLathon nodded and then followed Nawal towards the gate of Pala-Koro, ready to brace to cold wind of Ko-Wahi, and whatever else those frozen mountains had in store. OOC: Lathon to Ko-WahiIC (Nawal):"Old friends? To me, I just saw them yesterday." Nawal said, walking out of the gates of Pala-Koro eager to be reunited with the people of his village.OOC: Nawal to Ko-Wahi
IC: Shalia (Lake Pala, Le-Wahi)Water. Rest. Time to relax.Almost hungrily, the battered young ex-slave knelt down reverently, seeming to pray to the lake as she dipped her hands in and slowly sipped, feeling the water wash over slightly-raised scars on her hands and down the parched well of her throat. It was cool, refreshing, and instantly made her want to drink more; Shalia took a canteen and filled it before taking a sip and turning towards the lake at large. It was a place of introspection, of peace, of--people.There, down the lake and to the east of her, was a small village which looked to be undergoing construction work. It couldn't be Le-Koro, it was far too small. Perhaps a trading outpost, or maybe...more slavers. Oh, well, wouldn't that just be fantastic? More slavers? More people to take her in against her will, abuse her, mistreat her...yes, that would be just like fate, wouldn't it? Shalia stood up, all thoughts of momentary peace forgotten, and moved away from the village and into the jungle once again, towards Le-Koro itself. Le-Koro meant people, good people, friendly people. Not more slavers.-Teezy
OOC: Post nulled. Ninja'd!
IC:AnktThe Toa jumped off the mountain, timing his jump so that he could reach a nearby vine that he had noticed. Using the vine to swing across the trees, he eventually slowed himself down enough so that he could climb down a tree. "So, in which direction is the Village of Pala?" Ankt asked his friend, once Verak had recovered from his tree related injury.
IC:Frii-Glokk Continued doing target practice. A steady noise was coming from his prosthetic gun as he fired, then he would go to the tree and pluck the metal disks out of it's bark and reload. So far, his aim had gotten better than the useless wild shots he was making when he started. This activity felt soo familiar, but he couldn't remember when he had done it before. Stupid memory loss, he thought while he continued to train.OOC: Frii'glokk, Still open for interaction
IC: Madrihk (Arriving from Ko-Wahi)A surprise was lying in wait for the Island Liberation Squad's glorious leader when he returned to Lake Pala along with his crew. The place hadn't changed much, but it was clear that its population had risen substantially. It had to have doubled, at least. Madrihk counted at least thirty people he was certain he had never met, beings from several species... and they appeared to be workers."What's going on here?" he wondered aloud.Did the Nui-Rama hive success finally manage to draw this many people?
IC: (Aryll/Pala Koro, Le-Wahi)"It seems that during our grand little adventure we gained some new blood," Aryll replied, stating the obvious.
IC: Madrihk"Hm, yes," Madrihk replied. "At the very least we apparently have someone willing to do labor for us."The Toa of Ice glanced over the area and spotted Onyx rather quickly. He seemed to be overseeing part of the workforce. Madrihk approached him at once."Hello there, Onyx," he said. "We are finally back from Ko-Koro, as you might have noticed. Thanks to you all for keeping this place in check."Madrihk gestured towards the beings that were walking back and forth across the whole village."Any events I should know about?" he asked with a faint smile. "Looks like you really got things going while we were gone."
IC-Kal:"We got a few new recruits," Kal said, walking outside of the main building with Dail behind him.
IC: "I suppose you're the leader of this 'Squad.'" She said. She raised a sardonic eyebrow. "You might want to consider a different name."OOC: Yeeeah. It's a bit bigger now.
:w:
IC: Onyx"Hello there, Madrihk, good to see you back in one piece as well with the rest of you. Yes Alfon, I see you waving back there." Onyx greeted, humoured by the Toa of ice's question. "Remember Ambages? Yeah, these our his workers who've gotten started on fortifying the village and they're doing a pretty solid job at it. The leader has some blueprints that only you, Ambages and him have access to so you'll want to check that out however I don't see the guy anywhere right now.""Oh and a group of eight or so thought it would be funny to launch an attack on Pala-Koro. Don't worry, it went as smooth as can be: no casualties on our side or village destruction. Same can't be said for those guys. We have a few prisoners left though you're free to do what you want with them. Verik's already got the important one, a Parakuka user, to experiment on."
IC: The Dog"So, you're land-traveling to water-wet Ga-koro too?" The Goalie from Le-koro said incredulously. "What happy-fortune it is for travel-company!"Hafja the carver hobbled alongside bobbing his head in agreement. "I hearja," He rasped gutturally, right and only eye winking. Beneath his smile, the thoughts rolled more sinister. You are a poor fool, Learu, and you'll pay the price for your innocence. Hafja quickly fought with his large white and blue scarf, regaining the proper disguise for the protosteel collar welded around his neck in a band. He didn't notice. Good. The spirited matoran of air walked on with a clip to his step, a spring to his stride, a noose to his neck. "So how is ever-dry po-koro?" Learu asked with candid diplomacy. His curiousity was as obvious as the killing intent of the Kane-Ra only an hour past. Hafja paused for a second, before letting out a long sigh. "See, ja probleem is all dem toa," Hafja stated in his more whoozy rasp, "The more of iim that's come around, the more of iim that's blow things all'r up, donchyaknow?" He paused for emphasis, then moved onwards. "Well I was on me walk from Le-koro just now, and news be traveling rather slow, donchyathink, so me thinks to me self, perhaps no news is ja good news?" Learu nodded his head. By now, the matoran was whistling to himself and tapping his kohlii stick to his shoulder. Time to act. With a yelp, Hafja dropped back as he fell to the ground. Learu stopped and turned back."Did you hard-fall?" He asked with a slight smile, "Like a stone perhaps?""Very funny," Hafja said, his face displaying a wince as he attempted to rise, "but me thinks me twisted ja ol' ankle. Lend me a hand, will ya now?" He raised his arm up, waiting for his plea to be answered. With a shrug, Learu bent down and offered his hand, then grunted as Hafja brought his head into the matoran's solar plexus. When he spoke, he spoke quickly and without the drawl of before."Don't worry. You're only paralyzed. It'll wear off in an hour or so. You can still breathe fine. I'll be taking some of your things though."Ishi yanked the kohlii staff from Learu's frozen hands, a hard feat involving a few key pressure point pokes to the knuckles and palm. Sometimes it's not even fair to know this pressure point stuff. Ishi pushed Learu across the roadway like one my push a large package along the ground, until the matoran was finally hidden behind a few vines and ferns. "Now stay patient. I'm sure there'll be someone else to check in on you," he said almost medically before striding off, leaving the helpless goalie to stare at his back with dilating eyes. Picking up the kohlii stick again, he quickly brought the shield and travel bag to the same hiding spot, covered them in some leaves, then set off once more, this time at a quick jog. I've got an hour before he talks again. Knowing my luck today, I won't have to deal with the sap until tomorrow at the latest. Ishi glanced up at the sky through the foliage for a brief moment. Ah, good, sun is shining. Maybe I'll get to Ga-koro before nightfall...OOC: The DOG to ga-wahi
IC-VerakVerak massaged his sore temples as he entered the thick jungle. "Pala Koro's... east, then south," he recited, kicking away a fern. The green foliage was all around them now, above below, and to either side. Only the faintest flashes of brown from the tree trunks or the grey rocks that weren't completely plant covered offered a break in this new, more lush scenery. It was the oppostie of where they had been before. Instead of being barren and desolate and freezing, biting cold, the forest they were now traversing was choked with life- bushes and trees and ferns and moss and insects and the birds soaring above. It smelled of wetness, of decomposition, of life. The amount of strange plants almost blinded one, and the jungle overwhelmed the senses. It was warm, muggy, and humid as well, the type of tempurature that enveloped you and leeched the energy from your bones. The sort of humidity you could taste. Noises- chirping, hissing, clicking, bussing, and the distant, irritating hoots of Brakas filled the air, forming a loud, adial backdrop to everything. Verak had spent much time in the jungles of Le-Wahi, so he knew to keep Mount Ihu and Mount Valmai in sight, catching sight of them through breaks in the thick net like canopy to remain oriented. The toa of stone expertly pointed out pits of quicksand, places to muddy to cross, and deceptively deep pools as they moved deeper and deeper into the Fau swamp. Verak said little as they walked, his mind pleasantly occupied with the sights and sounds of the area around him.IC- LakiThe matoran walked into the main square, through the incredibly busy area. Matoran and Skakdi walked briskly around, looking purposeful with jobs in mind, scars and mud on their face and building materials in their arms. Laki had offered help to one of the builders, but was rejected. "We have things under control; we don't need any help. Thank you for your offer." The Le-Matoran understood their feeling, but really wished they'd reconsider. He still felt a bit purposeless compared with these fifty-some workers who had been building up the defenses day and night. But Madrihk and the rest of the ILS was back, walking triumphantly into the village. Well, not trumphantly. That was Laki feeling happy about their return. He didn't know why, but now it seemed the group could get started, start doing things. Some of the returning heroes actually looked a little disgruntled, and many seemed just happy to be warm. Laki understood; he hated Ko-Wahi more than anything. The Matoran instead walked over to greet Madrihk, Kethrye, and the rest of the toa.
OOC: Plagia from Ko-Wahi.IC: Plagia Simul - Pala-KoroMata Nui, it was good to be back in warm, humid, non-snowy Le-Wahi. And back in Pala-Koro, my home for the time being."Home sweet home," I muttered, as I let my bag slip from my shoulder into my hand, so that it dragged along the ground.Glancing around, I couldn't help but notice all the new people milling about, chatting, training or working. The ILS certainly grew while we were away. Not bothering to wait for the others, I began the long trek over to Akinii's grave, for some reason even I don't know. I mean, it's not like going back there is going to help in any way, shape or form. After a brief jaunt, I noticed a grey Skakdi (Frii-Glokk), who seemed to be in some kind of target practice against a cluster of trees. "Y'okay there, mate?" I called out, hoping that he would hear me over the sound of his own firing.OOC: That would be you, Bulik.-Void
OOC: Ril from Ko-Wahi.IC: [Ril]"Finally! Somewhere which isn't so bloody cold!"Ril stretched his limbs as he looked around the village, and blinked. "Say chief, when did we start building more stuff?"
IC-Kal
IC (please state who despite it being easy to guess in this case)
IC: Madrihk and Mevi"Ambages? Ah, I see. That explains it, then. I'll have to look over those blueprints as soon as possible. Ambages didn't mention anything more than 'defenses' and outer camouflage when he was here earlier."Madrihk looked pleasantly surprised when he learned of the failed attack on Pala-Koro and capture of a Parakuka-user."You fended off invaders - Parakuka included - with most of the squad gone? Splendid work! Did Verik learn anything new yet, or is he still doing his work?"Mevi, vigilant as always, had silently approached the returning warriors and listened to the short conversation. Her face bore no happy expression, however."We should probably mention the Toa of Shadow as well," she said grimly. "Same one that was at the hive. He showed up here to lop the head off some guy asking questions about him. Then he vanished without a trace, just like before. I tell you, even with this wall and all the warriors, I don't feel entirely safe here anymore. I doubt even good old Ta-Koro would feel save so long as there is darkness present..."Madrihk frowned at this tale, silently noting the Matoran's damaged mask. Evidently not everything was well in the village, despite outward looks."Noted," he said. "We'll have to take steps to prevent such things from happening. I wonder how much it would take to have lightstones installed everywhere..." the Toa of Ice muttered to himself, before turning his head at Ril's comment."This is the work of Ambages; at least according to the information I've received. They are here to strengthen our defenses. With the population becoming larger - and apparently the threats as well - this is a good thing. Speaking of team size..." - he nodded to Dail - "...we might indeed have to change the latter part of the name. Possibly all of it. And as have been suggested before, we'll need some way of identifying ourselves, a way to separate the core team from visitors and other allies."IC: Onyx
IC: [Ril]"Badges are pretty useful as identification."
IC: Onyx"I haven't checked up on Verik so I'm not entirely sure whether he's dug up anything or not. Might want to see that through too." Onyx said, confirming Mevi's statement with a grim nod of his head. The event had really shook the village's residents and really raised their standards when it came to safety. Though it begged the question why Heuani wouldn't just kill everyone and get it done and over with if it's so easy. "I agree with Ril, badges are rather handy but first, we need to come up with a symbol to represent us, by rank even if need be. As for the name, I really couldn't care more unless we were considering something atrocious."
IC-Kal:"So long as the name doesn't turn out stupid, I'm fine with it," Kal said, turning back to Dail."Don't forget, though, that if we put the traps too far out, our enemies could find them and disable them without us knowing. However, if we keep them close to us, it'll be hard for anybody to disable them without our knowing."
