IC(Jade)
Jade looked toward the arrow that had struck so close to the bull's eye before turning back to Gust. With a bewildered look in her eyes, she states,"That was...good. Really good actually. Have you..ever shot one of these before?"-Mef Man
IC-Aclaraung:Aclaraung glared down at the younger Dragon, though he didn't wish to kill him. In fact, he thought he might have a use for this Dragon."What is your name, child? Also, what was your father's name?"
IC: Norathed:"Norathed," The younger dragon said, "No know who father was."
IC: Gust (Hill, Ga-Wahi)"Not unless throwing a football on the beach counts," he replied, looking bewildered. -Teezy
IC(Jade)
"I think you found your calling in what type of weapon you should use," she says, a smile on her face. The Toa places her free hand on Gust's arm. "Do it again," encourages Jade.-Mef Man
IC: Angelus (City Square, Ga-Koro)"Alright, then," said Angel. "He'll be waking up soon, so I'll meet you later when we're ready to begin. And Salamander...thanks."He disappeared into the crowd, heading back to the inn.IC: Gust (Hill, Ga-Wahi)Gust bit his lip in concentration and fired again, spinning the arrow right into the bullseye.-Teezy
OOC: Actually, Emotia has Excitement. One of my characters, Skrihen, has Joy.IC: KraynKIrayn smiled, but shrugged. "I don't hold out hope, for me that is."He hadn't stopped clapping. "But maybe you'll be luckier than I."
IC(Jade)
Jade was in awe at Gust's aim. With a bit more practice, it would be twice as good as her own."That's great, Gust!" she exclaims happily. The Toa of Electricity leans forward and kisses the Le-Toa on the cheek. "You're a natural."-Mef Man
IC: Gust (Hill, Ga-Wahi)"You're a confidence booster," he said, blushing. "I mean, uh...blugh."-Teezy
IC(Jade)
Jade couldn't help but giggle at Gust's words. He seemed so shy when it came to things like this."That's what they all say," she jokes. "Now, shoot another. Let's see how good you can do a third time.."-Mef Man
IC: Gust (Hill, Ga-Wahi)Gust took aim a third time, and, humming "Eye of the Tiger" absently to himself, he fired the arrow right into the bullseye.-Teezy
IC, Agzinel: Reality slowly returned...Agzinel groaned and opened his eyes. They, along with his Mark, were glowing. He looked up--and found that he was looking down instead. He had been ductaped to the ceiling of a hotel room. Wide-eyed, the Mark Bearer looked around. "Angelus!" he called. "Where the Karz am I?"
IC: Angelus (Inn, Ga-Koro)"Logic would dictate the roof," replied Angel calmly. "How are you feeling? Need something to eat?"-Teezy
IC(Jade)
Jade gave Gust a stand-down motion with her hands while walking toward the target."That's great, Gust," she compliments. "I thought we'd be here all day teaching you how to aim..no offense, of course," Jade adds while looking back at Gust, the smile still on her face.-Mef Man
IC, Agzinel: "I'm fine," Agzinel said through gritted teeth. "Now what the Karz are you thinking? What's wrong with you?"
IC: Angelus (Inn, Ga-Koro)"Well, I did tell you I had an idea. And you did ask what it was."IC: Gust (Hill, Ga-Wahi)"So what now, then? Since, y'know, we have all day."-Teezy
IC(Jade)
"Well, that walk on the beach sounded pretty romantic," she says to Gust. The Toa of Electricity begins to take out the arrows from the target; placing a few in her quiver while leaving some in her left hand.-Mef Man
IC: Gust (Hill, Ga-Wahi)"So let's do that, then. A walk on the beach."-Teezy
IC-Aclaraung:"Norathed...Hmm. I've heard your name before," the elder Dragon growled, thinking. "No matter. Follow behind me, I'll show you a safe place to stay." That said, Aclaraung stood, and began to lead Norathed back to the home he had chosen for himself.
IC, Agzinel: "And how is hanging me upside down in a hotel room supposed to help you?" asked Agzinel angrily. "All that's accomplishing is making me dizzy."
IC(Jade)
Jade places the arrows she held in Gust's quiver before holding his left hand."You lead, I'll follow," she says with a smile.Really, Jade? Ugh, you're so out of practice with these things...-Mef Man
IC: Gust (Hill, Ga-Wahi)"Um...okay," said the bashful Toa, walking down to the beach with his hand in Jade's.-Teezy
IC(Jade)
The Toa of Electricity mentally facepalmed to herself. The last thing she wanted to do was make a lame remark..."So, uh, have you been working here long?" she asks Gust while looking toward a few Matoran. A group of three Ga-Matoran were playing in the water; their laughter reaching Jade's ears.-Mef Man
IC: Norathed:The younger dragon followed, somewhat confused. This place seemed radically different than where he had lived for his entire life.
IC: (Hari)"Well you should...I think a lot girls would consider such a thing...if they got to know you better." She said. "You mean a lot more to people than you think, I'm not sure if you realize that. Well I am lucky, I got you as a date tonight." She laughed. She continued to clap, it was such a beautiful wedding. So much joy in the air, so much happiness here.OOC: Hmm, those Marks are starting to look like they are overlapping...but whatever.
IC: Gust (Beach, Ga-Koro)"All my life, really," he replied, drawing closer to her and deciding against his better judgement to put his arm around her waist. "At least, as long as I can remem--uh oh. LifeGuardians."Noticing Jade's skeptical expression, he visibly blanched."They're this group of beachgoing girls that like to divvy up the lifeguards on patrol and try and claim them for themselves.""Hey! Look! It's Gust!""Who needs Gust? What about--""That sparkhead has her hand on my beloved!"-Teezy
IC-Aclaraung:As they walked back to Aclaraung's home cave, the elder Dragon decided to converse with the younger."So, young Norathed," he said, catching the other's attention, "Where are you from?"
IC(Jade)
Jade makes a rather unpleasant sign with her free hand before turning back to Gust. "They seem like rather charming girls. Would it be too much if I electrocuted the water for them?" she says, a frown on her face. Being called "Sparkhead" was something she didn't enjoy...-Mef Man
IC: Norathed:"Jungle-place," Norathed said, "Miles away from Biped-village and Evil-Hive. Followed scent to Biped-village, followed scent to here."
IC: Gust (Beach, Ga-Koro)"While you doing that would be in-credibly hot," he said, leaning in and kissing her cheek, "I'd rather not have to explain that to the Marines. Thank, though. It's gestures like that that make me love you."He blanched."I mean, uh..."-Teezy
IC(Jade)
Jade stops in her tracks. "Wait. You...love me?" she asks, bewildered. She looks up at Gust, but immediatly looks down as her face begins to flush.Do I love him?-Mef Man
IC: KraynKrayn shrugged. "Here, I am reasonably well liked. But in Le-Koro, the most common adjective used for me is 'prick'. In fact, most of my division has a bet running for how long it will be until someone snaps and punches me in the face. They think I can't hear them, but I always do."
IC:Distracted by all that was going on in the village of water on what turned out be quite a bright day, a ship soon became visible on the horizon-line, behind which the small dots of the Kumu-Islets rose. Agni, standing with his legs shoulder-width apart at the bow of the ship with his arms crossed, sighed satisfied. They were finally leaving the dark night behind them. The Toa of fire looked over his shoulder at Mef, Kuyre and then Valria. He smiled slightly at them, which they didn't notice, but it was wiped away by a frown as his eyes drifted to the bound figure of Telric on the floor. He couldn't wait to lock the son of a Muaka in the deepest darkest dungeon in Ta-Koro. Preferably the one under the lava-drain. OOC: Agni, Mef, Valria, Kuyre from Kumu Islets.
IC(Mef)
This has to stop. The Toa of Earth stands up and stretches, ready to go. He would make sure that he stopped feeling sorry for himself and do what was best for the group, not just himself."Ah, time to soak up some sun," he says to the others. He was serious when he thought they needed a vacation, but he knew this wasn't the right time for it. There were other things they needed to do. One, free the slaves they had rescued, and, two, deliver the son of a Brakas named Telric to the prison. It was looking up to be a great day, and he'd make sure it would be even after the spat he had earlier.-Mef Man
IC: PordalEveryone Pordal looked at seemed so... happy. It almost made him gag. He threw the cigar in the water and walked out to a pier. He stood, looking out at the ocean. A Ga-Matoran asked if he wanted a ride out to sea. He shook his head no. He didn't feel like doing anything. He pulled out the disk Yerith gave him. He had asked Kemrof to fetch it for him. There was still blood on it. Blood from Tirzan and Quoren. He was glad they were dead. But everyone else died, too. Gaz lay there as Quoren toppled down next to him. If only he had the strength to get up and throw that Brakas off the bridge. Cedil was shot in the head, trying to fight back... and Yerith... the one he thought would make it out.Gaz and Yerith had families back home. Wives, children... he had to tell them. But this was a Black Operation war. He wasn't allowed to tell them. They deserved to know.He screamed into the night and punched a hut in frustration, his hand going right the plant wall.
IC: (Hari)"Well they're a bunch of pricks." Hari growled, crossing her arms, angry that the other Guardsmen would treat him that way. "I'd walk down there and punch them all in the face myself. Next time you're in Le-Wahi, take me." The Toa of Plant Life huffed, a frown forming on her lips, as she crossed her arms in frustration. Did this guy ever catch a beak, apparently not. She was getting posessive of him...strange, when she had only met this guy a while earlier...but she liked him, it clicked for her and she was going to spend the rest of the night with guy, he really needed some serious attention.IC: (Valria)Valria sighed, the Toa of Gravity who's color primarly purple with some black mixed walked up next to Agni."So what do we do? Release take these slaves to the guard and see if they can do something about finding them somewhere to sleep and something to eat and drink." She asked, looking over to Riwha and the rest of the escaped slaves, they had herded onto the ship. Things were going to better now, she could feel it. Everything would finally be okay. Though she needed a splint for the sprained wrist she was still nursing. Maybe the Marines could help with that as well. They were finally free of the Kumu Islets and the dark clouds that hung over it and by extension their group.
IC(Mef)
Mef decided to take a chance as he walked up to Valria."So...how's the wrist, Val?" he asks, standing behind her. The Toa would try his best to not throw a fit for lack of attention. He would deal with this in a cool manner, no matter what. Hopefully...-Mef Man
IC: KraynTo say Krayn was confused would be an understatement. Because for him, it was normal, a day-to-day occurrence. Sure, it bugged him, but he'd gotten almost desensitized to it. 'Why?" He asked, confusion and curiosity present in his voice.IC: RalinWith great horro, Ralin turned around, and realized Vibro had been in her office the whole time, asleep. "Karzahni."
IC: (Hari)"Because you deserve respect! You put your life on the line so many times and no one there respects you like they should." She huffed, "Because...it's not right, like how would they like it, if I treated them the way they treated you." She was angry for him and maybe a little of it was because she liked him and she felt for him.IC: (Valria)"Ah, it's still hurting. Did you want to talk Mef?" She asked, walking a little further away from the main group. Hopefully they both could be reasonable this time...she hoped. She didn't want to drive Mef away, she didn't want to drive any of them away. She wanted him to be happy but she couldn't make everyone of them happy. What was she supposed to do, split into three, one goes to Mef, one to Kuyre, and she gets to go with Agni, she was only one person and it was driving her insane, she didn't wear it on her face though. "So?"
IC: Krayn"Well, in fairness to them, they feel I'm a bit strict about enforcing the law...." Krayn said, rather awkwardly. On one hand,he agreed with Hari, but he also felt like it was his duty to defend his colleagues. And then the rest of him had no idea how to deal with this.
