  • IC: Frenn shook her head at the Vortixx. Clearly the male did not know what type of land this was. As she turned slowly, she waved her massive curved blade around the area. Nicking a few leaves that gently floated down towards the Vortixx. She finished her turn around and pointed the blade back at the Vortixx. “Did you not think it curious that there are no creatures or others in this area?” Asked Frenn. She quickly leaned forward as if she were jousting the blade at the Vortixx, but right when she moved forward she tossed the blade upwards into the air. It twirled a few times as it reached the height of its throw, and as it somersaulted back down she caught it in her hand and hung it across her back with its twin. “This land is marked by Muaka. You would do well to leave, you may be harmless but Muaka are not.”She walked closer towards the Vortixx. “As for me, I am retrieving some Bula Fruit for some friends.” Frenn leaned down towards the reclined figure, her face right in front of his for direct eye contact. “You’re going to follow me.” The male Vortixx went to say something “Wh-“Frenn looked deep into the Vortixx ‘s eyes with a fiery passion. “You know what I am. You know how we don’t like to be angered. You will follow me. You will leave Muaka territory. “ She leaned back away from the Vortixx and started to walk away. She raised her voice ever so slightly. “If you want to live.”

  • IC: Skyra - Ferry, Lake Kanae -As I looked at the massive tree that held Le-koro, I experienced a brief, but intense flashback of when Tamaru...I shook my head, now really wasn't the time for thinking about such things, the past was the past, I needed to move forward. "The Bright-Star Inn...I never been much of a drinker, but I've been their a few times in the past, not a bad place."

    - Azuriel -

"I was going to say," he muttered before lightly poking Frenn's face, wondering if that would make her give him some space to stand up, "why do you care? Sure, of course, Toa are said to be these benevolent creatures but... heh, perhaps I'm simply not used to benevolence... is this what it looks like?" he asked with a gentle voice, inwardly laughing as the face the copper Toa wore was definitely not one of kindness. If anything, it struck him as annoyed and, perhaps, invaded -- as if she was a muaka demanding his leave. But if that were the case, surely she would simply have fried him on the spot, making nothing more than a poor vortixx puddle to forever stain the green land. No, she wouldn't ruin her land so readily. That didn't fit the type of personality he felt she had, as if anything, she seemed protective of it. Perhaps suspicious of him, or maybe more worried of anything he could set disorder to -- like muaka eating habits. Rahi were, after all, rahi and they lacked the level of cognitive ability as those more sentient; they didn't have their own economy, after all. Respectful as he was, he let out a short defeated sigh before pulling himself up to height. As far as he felt concerned, he was an exotic specimen. Likely, there weren't many other vortixx around, at least, substantially less than there would be matoran, toa or turaga. However, unlike those who toiled in labor he toiled in other means years past, therefore he lacked the level of roughness and violence many other males of his kin held. Instead of contempt, he held pride, and instead of hate he felt love. For his lot, he had lived a most pampered life, or at least, as pampered as one of his charge in society could hope to live in. His slender, sleek body was alone enough proof of that, but the scar-less armor and tissue that donned his form also showed of a life much different than the average. As kind a face, free of age as it was, he held there was a sort of innocence, almost childishly so, that danced about it. While no stranger to the whip or jail, he surely was not the sort that faced such tragedies and horrors on a regular schedule."So, muaka would remove an innocent bystander out of mere suspicion, hm? I always thought the rahi smarter than that," he mentioned casually, stretching his limbs while looking up through the canopies of the trees, feeling the warmth of the suns upon his ebony face. "Either way, I'll listen to the person who brandishes the bigger weapon, as I quite do enjoy my head settled finely upon my shoulders. Anyway, perhaps there'll be bars, or taverns, or markets I can frequent to mess with some of those with bigger teeth than that of a muaka." Of course, the prospect of running into another vortixx of his station greatly appealed to Azuriel, although he doubted his ability to hold his flirtatious tongue in such an instance. Other males always seemed to bring that side of him out easily, especially those of his own kin, although he made the comment to see if it'd unnerve this strange toa.

  • IC (Merror)Merror too had a memory surface as they looked up at the tree.Tamaru falling. Leaping out into the air. Catching him. Both falling. Impact with the water. Swimming to shore. Tamaru, dying in his arms while he stood there, unable to save him.Merror shook his head, dispelling the memory. It was best not to dwell on such things...As they docked, Merror leapt gracefully out of the boat and onto the jetty. Giving his thanks to the ferrywoman, he made for one of the elevator pods, gesturing for his companions to follow him. Climbing into the pod, he prepared the familiar controls to take them up into the Village of Air.

  • IC: Tank - Le-Wahi Jungle - Chapter 2Tank finished washing his arm off in the nearby falling water and turned back around again towards the mouth of the cave, taking another wrapping to use as a bandage, twisting it around his forearm and wrist. He sighed as the pain started to lower, but as the numbers went higher. It was an odd feeling. Both the pain, and the high. He tried not to think about it too much. He avoided coming back to the words Dorian had spoken of. He claimed Tank was as dark inside as Dorian, but for different reasons. This disturbed Tank. Not because Dorian was a deranged killer with no moral values, but because Tank had started to see it. He started to believe it. His life was nothing but a downward spiral.Tank thought back to the conversation he had with Utu. It was strikingly similar to the one Tank had with Dorian. Utu suggested Tank wanted to get rid of his Mark because he was afraid of his own power, his own darkness inside giving into the power: Simply because he enjoyed the feeling.Pushing aside that thought, Tank did the same with the leafy vines in order to step into the cave. He continued along with his hand against the wall before coming to it's end, turning left. A little ways down, sat Kearrstrun next to a fire, Tuara sleeping on her side, breathing deeply.Tank sat down, staring at the fire blankly, lost in thought. Kearrstrun poked parts of the wood with a stick, stirring up sparks. He too was staring at the flames."What do we do?" Tank asked the question quietly, somewhat disappointed in himself for not knowing. Honestly, he was fed up, and just about ready to give up. Sure, taking his own life wouldn't solve the other problems he could solve, but the pain was unbearable.Kearrstrun halfheartedly shrugged, his eyes still glued to the fire. His answer just as softly spoken as Tank's, "Nothing I suppose. There isn't exactly much we can do. Other than hiding here."Tank didn't look away from the coals, his composure staying as calm and quiet as before, "For the rest of our lives?"Kearrstrun pushed the logs again, not really knowing how to answer, "I'm not sure. This whole situation is just one huge disaster."Tank nodded sadly before turning away, laying on his side to sleep.

  • IC (Weta): Weta moved into the elevator with Merror and was drawn up into the treetops on his way to the Bright-Star Inn. On the way up, he noted that Pulse was no longer tied to the tree. He supposed that after a time, Matau had seen fit to release him, hopefully after the mad toa of ice learning the error of his ways. He made a mental note to himself to check up on Pulse's fate while he was here in Le-koro.

  • OOC: Atonal from Ta-Wahi.IC: [Atonal]The first thing that entered Atonal's mind when he tripped over a root was a rather offensive curse, which he fortunately did not say out loud. The second thing that entered his mind was his subconscious noting that he had gotten lost again in the endless jungles of Le-Wahi. The last time he had gotten lost within the region, he had been running away from a giant spider. As he pulled himself off the ground, he hoped that the same event would not occur again, because he had already gotten sick of running away from giant Rahi."Let's see," he muttered, looking up at the tree canopy. "I just need to find out which way is north and I'll be home free."

  • IC: [Jenali]Jenali swung through the treetops of the lush jungle that was apparently called Le-Wahi and hummed happily. There were so many trees and amazingly varied plants, all healthy and strong -- well. Most of them healthy and strong. She'd seen signs of battles in her so far brief exploration of the island, and she was pretty sure she didn't like it. She definitely didn't like what had happened to the Rahi here, or what she'd heard of its history...She sighed, then noticed the Toa of Ice below her and stopped at the next sturdy branch. Jenali peered through a barrier of leaves and listened to his muttering about direction, then considered it. She could keep going, but he looked nice and she could use talking to someone. She dropped down out of her hiding place and suggested, "Check where the trees have more moss?"OOC: Hullo!

  • IC: [Jenali]Jenali shrugged. "Well, moss grows best in the shade, and since the sun's path is slanted to the south moss would grow better on the north side of the trees." She looked up at the dense canopy and frowned briefly. "It's probably going to be hard to tell down here, though, with the leaves mostly blocking the sunlight so the moss grows all over everything, but I think it'll be possible." She smiled to show him she was pretty happy about their chances, then added, "I'm Jenali, what's your name?"

"Of course I'm good with plants, Atonal, I'm a Ma- a Toa of the Green!" Jenali's slip of the tongue only showed how new her form was to her, and it didn't damp her cheer any. "It's good to meet you too. You're lost, then?" She was already considering helping him in any way she could.OOC: Beware, Atonal, you may never have a quiet moment again!
