BZPRPG: Le-Wahi

IC: [Atonal]"I'll take your word for it!" he shouted back.

IC: [Jenali]"I don't actually know, I'm just--" Jenali paused and used the momentum of her next swing to launch herself onto the next tree's branch, which she wrapped herself around and clung to. "I hear something," she said instead, looking at Atonal from her currently upside-down view of the forest. "Construction, I think."

IC: [Atonal]Atonal was not as lucky, and crashed into another branch, which he barely managed to grip onto properly."Ow," he muttered. "Construction?"

IC: [Jenali]Jenali winced at Atonal's landing. She started trying to nod, then realized it made her rather unstable. "Yeah," she said instead. "I'm no Toa of Sonics, but they're pretty loud. That'll mean they're close..." She twisted herself around the branch, glanced down briefly at the unknown ground below and decided to not do that again, and flung herself to the next tree. "I'm going to check it out!" she called back, and took off into the forest.OOC: You're the one who knows what Pala-Koro looks like. I'm thinking she sees it next post...

OOC: You'll see the stone wall.IC: [Atonal]Atonal sighed, and began to climb up onto the branch. "Well good luck with that! I'll just try to follow you without crashing."With that, he set off after her once again.

OOC: Right, thanks! Pala-Koro, here we come!IC: [Jenali]Jenali swung through the trees until she came abruptly to the edge of the forest. Past a stretch of clear ground loomed a reinforced stone wall that followed the line of the clearing at least as far as when it turned and Jenali couldn't see any more, and straight across from her was a gate. She dropped to the ground and approached cautiously, then called out, "Hello-o!"

IC: [Atonal]Atonal landed next to her. "Hmm, never seen this before."

IC: [Jenali]Jenali nodded and stared up at the top of the wall, amazed and a little bit frightened by how well-built and sturdy it looked. "I wonder who built it."

IC: (Enara)After waking up and seeing the absence of Uar tied to the tree, Enara thought: Forget it, he's impossible to hold captive for long. Maybe some other time... as she walked towards Po-Koro, hoping to find some mercenary work there.OOC: Enara to Po-Wahi.

IC (Merror)Merror stepped out of the pod once it reached the village's main platform."This way," he said, leading his fellow Toa off the to left, and up a walkway. After a few minutes' walking, they reached the Bright-Star Inn. Merror opened the door, and walked inside. Looking around, he spotted a blue-and-gold-armoured Toa, sitting alone at a table with six flagons of drink. A smile broke out on his face."Well, well, well," he said, approaching the table. "Are you expecting someone?"

IC, Elianne:(Bright-Star Inn)"Oh, no," Elianne replied, smirking. "I was just gonna drink all these six flagons by myself. But if you want to join, I suppose I'll share."

IC (Merror)"Anything to keep you sober," Merror replied, with a wink.He sat down at the table and beckoned his companions over."My friends," he said, "let me introduce Elianne."

IC-Unari:"Is it just me, or is it a good thing that the interesting people always pop up when nobody else normal is here?" Unari asked, taking a sip of his own, personal scotch.IC-Skeldan:Skeldan, meanwhile, had gratefully accepted the flagon of ale, downing it in what could only be considered record time, until he looked up and gave Elianne a small bow.

IC, Elianne:(Bright-Star Inn)Elianne raised herself to her feet, giving a hybrid between a curtsey and a bow - feminine enough, but giving off the vibe of a warrior willing to slash a Rahkshi into pieces at any given time. The brief moment during the very climax of her bow, when the spearhead on her back stared them right in the faces, did not dispell the notion: this woman was a Toa of the old variety."Yes, as Merror said, I am Elianne," she said, stretching out her hand to each of them to shake. Her grip was strong, and firm. A warrior indeed.

IC (Merror)Merror shook Elianne's hand equally firmly."How have you been?" he asked.

IC, Elianne:(Bright-Star Inn)The Toa of Lightning took a gulp of her drink. "Well, it's been an interesting time lately, especially since I arrived in Le-Koro. I always loved the jungle, ever since I left the monastery - but this town, it's just a little bit strange. First, I found a tavern that was technically a pleasurehouse but the owner of which had serious problems with calling it that. Second, that tavern got burnt down barely a day later. Not to mention the weird people I've encountered. It's good you're all here, because it definitely helps to actually know a few sane people."

IC-Skeldan:"Sane? Really?" Skeldan asked, mock surprise on his face. "Why, nobody has called me that in years. I thank you for the compliment." He smiled slightly, before taking his fourth flagon from Unari, and beginning to drink from it as well.

IC: Skyra - Bright-Star Inn, Le-koro -As I shook Elianne's hand I couldn't help but notice her strong grip. Yeah, she was the warrior type, I could tell already she'd make a good choice to join our new Toa team. The Toa of Lightning took a gulp of her drink. Wow, I really have been out of the loop as to what's been happening in my own village." I shook my head, a pleasurehouse of all things had been in my koro. I was somewhat glad it had burnt to the ground. "I'm Skyra, by the way."

IC, Elianne:(Bright-Star Inn)Elianne nodded, smiling. "Nice to meet you two. Your name is..?" she asked, nodding towards Skeldan.

IC-Skeldan:"Skeldan, lass," the Toa of Ice said, finishing off the flagon and setting it down, in order to speak more easily. "I'd introduce you to Drótt as well, my Ussal, but I have no idea where he'd be right now."

IC (Merror)"A pleasurehouse?" Merror asked incredulously, with a laugh. "I wouldn't be surprised if you were the one that burned it down!"

IC, Elianne:(Bright-Star Inn)The Toa of Lightning laughed a quiet, soft laugh. "Wasn't that quick. Some local crime lord, some local religious zealot group, and just some terrorist all got the owner on their nerves. I only made it to the scene quick enough to save the poor girls, ugh, working there."

IC (Merror)Merror's smile lessened."Hmm..." he said. "Working. I think they were rescued in more ways than one."

IC: Skyra - Bright-Star Inn, Le-koro -"If you had burn it down, I'd thank ya. Last thing I want to see is something that despicable in Le-koro." I said as I sat down, taking one of the flagons and taking a sip of the ale.

IC (Merror)Merror clinked mugs with Skyra in agreement, then turned his head to Elianne."Sorry if my note was a bit cryptic," he said. "I suppose I'd better explain myself."

IC, Elianne:(Bright-Star Inn)Elianne nodded, allowing the Toa of Fire to continue.

IC (Merror)"I've realised that I've let my past haunt me for too long," he said. "That I've been alone for too long. It's time for that to change. We're forming a Toa Team."Merror clasped his hands on the table."That's why I'm here," he said. "You're strong. You're willing to stand up for what's right, to fight for what you believe in, and to deal with the consequences."The Toa of Fire looked into Elianne's eyes."Come with us."

IC, Elianne:(Bright-Star Inn)Elianne's eyes narrowed... but her smile widened as she stretched out a fist across the table for them to bump. "I will... my brother. I will brave the deserts and the seas with you, my brothers, in the name of the Great Spirit and of the Light. For justice, order and peace."Finally, she found what she wanted ever since leaving the monastery. Purpose.

IC: Skyra - Bright-Star Inn, Le-koro -I smiled. "Well that was easy! Welcome to the team." I took a bigger swig of my drink, I was already starting to feel a little hazy...I never did really hold liquor well.

IC: Plagia Simul - Pala-Koro"Um, alright..." I replied, not quite sure what to say to a comment like that, "Maybe we should find you a bed..."-Void

IC (Merror)Merror nodded his thanks to Elianne, and rose to his feet."And so," he said, "we have our six. Skyra. Skeldan. Weta. Pirok. Elianne."He looked at each of them in turn."And Merror. My friends - my brothers - a Toa Team is more than a group of beings. It is a symbol, of light, of honour, of courage. This island is falling into darkness, and the Matoran need people they can look to. People who will protect them as duty demands, and not ask for pay or thanks. Someone must answer the call. We must answer the call."The Toa of Fire spoke with passion, that determination blazing once again in his eyes. People began to turn from their drinks and conversations to gaze at Merror as he spoke."When the night is darkest," he said, "when wisdom fails, when valour falters - "His piercing gaze surveyed each new team-member as he paced from side to side." - when faith dies, when strength crumbles, when heroes fall - "The beings in the bar sat silent, all staring at the Toa of Fire. Merror spoke on, raw emotion in his voice and fire in his eyes. Faces flashed through his memory as he spoke, faces that had so often plagued his mind with guilt - but now, they gave him strength. A tear welled in one of his eyes." - when the sky turns black and the sun is dead, and the wind howls in the emptiness, when all else is gone, one thing remains!""ONE THING!" Merror roared, his arms spread wide. He gazed down at them all for a few moments, as they stared up in awe. He lowered his arms."Hope."Reaching back over his shoulder, he drew one of his swords and held it horizontally above the table."By my sword," he said, looking with steely eyes to his brothers to do the same.

IC-Skeldan:Thankfully having remembered his sword for once, Skeldan quickly drew it and held it out as well, setting down the lyre he'd been playing to add extra effect to Merror's words.

IC:"No... I'm fine" Frii'glokk Grunted as he leaned against a tree. "It's just... I have a horrible past.... and every time I think about it, There is a giant headache". Why am I telling her all this? Frii'glokk wondered.

IC, Elianne:(Bright-Star Inn)The Toa of Lightning drew her lance and held it out. "By my spear."

IC: The DetectiveThe Detective stared at Akree incredulously. "Um, first of all," he said. "Usually slums are within the city borders. Second of all, can you see, or even breathe down there beneath all that mud? If not, then they're not there. Thirdly, slums are usually easily accessible, are they not?"

IC: Plagia Simul - Pala-Koro"I see," I began trying to think of something to say, "I... I'm sorry to hear about that. I know I said that already, but, um, I feel that I should say it again."I grabbed Frii'glokk's bottle of spirits, "But just to be safe, maybe we should get you off of this stuff for a little bit."-Void

IC: AkreeAkree slowly stood up and wiped the mud off his face. "Quiet you. Okay, you lead the way this time."OOC: Don't worry, he's only kind of comic relief.

IC: Plagia Simul - Pala-Koro"I see," I began trying to think of something to say, "I... I'm sorry to hear about that. I know I said that already, but, um, I feel that I should say it again."I grabbed Frii'glokk's bottle of spirits, "But just to be safe, maybe we should get you off of this stuff for a little bit."-Void

IC: The MafiaThe mafia wandered around Le-Wahi without purpose. He was lost. Then, he remembered.He had hidden something in a bush somewhere here. He started looking for the bush. When he got there, he reached inside the bush and pulled something out: an axe. Suddenly, it all came back to him. This axe had been from his second attempt at making a gang: The Skanohi. He had tried giving his toa powers to skakdi, but the gang had been taken out by a toa named Lathon. He stood there in a daze, remembering everything. Then, he knew what he had to do. He started for Le-Koro, having a goal in his mind. "Soon, La Dominazione will walk the streets of Mata Nui again," he thought.IC: The Detective"Come this way," he said to Akree and started walking off to the real slums of Le-Koro.

IC: AkreeAkree walked after The Detective, being careful to maintain his balance.
