IC: Leaping down from the adjacent roof, Tarex threw open the door with a triumphant grin. "Hey, we got i--"A grin that then morphed into a bemused frown, as he focused in on the scene before him. "Wait..."What is he doing? he wondered, perplexed at the Toa of fire's action.He's blocking her mouth with his... some sort of suffocation technique? What is this guy trying to do here? he thought, eyes slightly widening as his stance subconciously shifted, lowering his center of gravity.Wait, he's not blocking her nose...OOC: lolignorance

IC: Riaril's eyes widened as the Toa of Fire leaned forward. He wasn't going to-Ah dung-Mata Nui-forsake it-Dung dung dung--Because he actually was kissing her-MATA NUI-FORSAKE IT--She could feel herself weakening beneath his advance-DUNG--Folding beneath the opressive lips that threatened to steal her still-developing feelings towards males-MATA NUI TAKE IT ALL, FORSAKE IT ALL--Which was beginning to blink more rapidly, heating up-DUNG DUNG DUNG DUNG DUNG MATA NUI-FORSAKEITALL DUNG DUNG DUNG--And then with a gasp, the medic pulled away.The room was entirely silent for a time, save for their exhausted pantings. Riaril was never gladder to be a Ga-Toa-her dark armor was the only thing preventing Tairel from seeing her blush right now.Finally, she spoke. Her composure had been regained, and as the Ga-Toa sat up straight-backed in her chair, she couldn't've looked more like a cool professional."You are hired...On the conditions that you never speak of what just happened or what you saw at the hot springs earlier this evening to no one. As well, you are to not serve as a full-time medic for a year, only as an apprentice to Takimoc. Finally," she leaned forwards, serious now, "I may be single, but I am also your superior. You'd do well to remember that."OOC: Don't think the kiss means much necessarily-as stated previously in the post, while Riaril is past her teenage years, she's never exactly been in a relationship. Her age may be in her early-mid twenties in human years, but her experience in that realm of life, and consequently, her feelings, are nascent. The closest she's ever gotten to having a romantic relationship is checking out (with perhaps some groping on the side of) male patients. Therefore, she folds before Tairel's kiss very easily.As well, she won't forget what happened at the springs with a mere kiss. She's still slightly confused about the whole deal, a tad angry and helpless about what happened even though Tairel gave her cigarettes and has proven to be a nice guy so far.-The Fearless Leader

IC - Sucogu - 0_0He stood there, gaping.Was this guy kissing the smoke monster? He pitied him... Riarel was obviously not adept to relationships, he could tell by the general mannerisms she seemed accustomed to. They echoed his own. As if that train of though was going anywhere...With an awkward "I'll just, uh..." he stepped back outside.

IC: (Tairel) The Toa of Fire breathes in heavily after the kiss. He had never intended to do...that...to the doctor. "You are hired...On the conditions that you never speak of what just happened or what you saw at the hot springs earlier this evening to no one. As well, you are to not serve as a full-time medic for a year, only as an apprentice to Takimoc. Finally, I may be single, but I am also your superior. You'd do well to remember that." "Yes, of course," replied the Toa of Fire. Tairel looks down at his feet, but immediatly looks back into the eyes of the doctor. "I'm terriblly sorry. I don't know what came over me." He pulls the sword in and out of it's sheath but quickly stops the nervous habit.

IC: Just as Tairel finished speaking with a slight nod from Riaril, she heard a small voice which sounded like that of one of her charges. Specifically, the Lightning Toa who had brought in the bleeding one Metru-built one."I'll just, uh..."The room grew deathly silent.Then, with murderous intent emanating from her body in waves, coat flapping out again like the sinister wings of a great bird of prey, the Ga-Toa who could not have embodied rage more in the moment stalked forward.Each step was slow. Precise. Methodical.And couldn't have been more terrifying for the poor sap who thought they could get away from wrath's incarnation outside.Storming out the door, Riaril raised an arm and attempted to blast Sucogu in the face with a jet of high-velocity water which she conjured.

IC: "Uh... hi. We kinda got the armor." Tarex said, walking in.Perhaps the mix of black and white on his armor had helped him blend into the Half-light or something.She did seem pretty focused on Tairel, so he probably wasn't clearly visible."So, uh..." he began, fully aware of the apparently akward situation, then stopping as she walked past.He felt that anger."Karz,"Pursuing her, he quickly grabbed her arm and twisted it downwards, sending the blast off course and into the ground."Woah, woah, settle down! What's got you so worked up?!" He demanded, with an incredulous glare. "We got you the armor, and this is how you thank us?! By trying to take off his head?!"

IC: (Tairel) "I'll just, uh..." The Toa of Fire quickly looks toward the source of the new voice, his hand on the hilt of his sword. How long had the Toa been standing there? There wasn't much time to think about the details, the doctor was approaching the Toa with a murderous intent. Tairel wasn't sure to stop her or let her go. Before she could hurt the Lightning Toa, a new being had grabbed her by the arm; forcing the blast to hit a nearby wall. But this didn't stop Tairel. He had made up his mind: eaves droppers annoyed him. And when they did that, Tairel acted. Sword in hand, the Toa of Fire rushes toward the Toa, sending a burst of flame toward his new enemy.

IC - Sucogu - e.eThe Toa of lightning pounded out the door, eyeing the water distastefully. Luckily, she was still powering the blast, so he could trace the source. It was common to do that during rage. She had taken an offensive stance, not expecting backlash.Her mistake.The blast was powerful, but not in it's most powerful surrounding. He ducked to the left and rolled back, arms raised up. Lightning arced out of them, race through the given conductor and hitting home at the creator.He saw the Toa of flame approaching, and ducked under the shield. He grabbed a knife from his belt and sent it flying towards Tairel with his best aim.

OOC: My first technical fight since I started RPing again! Thanks TKoNI!IC: (Tairel) Tairel saw the knife coming and, remembering his old days of fighting, quickly rolled out of the way and fired another blast of flame at the floor below the Toa of Lightning. Hopefully, the Toa would fall through the floor and, hopefully, there weren't any patients below all of them.

OOC: Ground level, man.IC: Except the lightning's path was intercepted by a pillar of crystal, now changing course and flowing through the obstruction and into the ground."Guys--" he began, cut off after having to duck under a fireball from the doctor.Seeing the ensuing battle between the doctor and the Sucogu, Tarex's eyes narrowed in anger. He was having none of this nonsense.TO KARZ WITH IT.Concentrating fiercely, he used his free hand to slam a palm onto the ground, channeling his elemental energy into the very earth itself.Twin jet black walls of Obsidian rose from the ground, blocking the attacks of both fighters, and distracting them long enough for him to speak."EVERYONE CHILL THE KARZ OUT!!!" He roared, the sheer volume of his voice carrying through multiple blocks and buildings.

OOC: Yay for senseless violence! :DPlease guys, don't interfere. I want to see who would win. This is gonna be fun.IC - Sucogu - FightThe Toa of lightning jumped up, grabbing a hooked blade and striking up to hang on the ceiling. With his free hand, he fired a powerful homing lightning strike at Tairel.He would have to work extra hard to dodge this one. He was controlling it, do it would follow him. But that wasn't all. Once Tairel had dodged the dagger, he had fired his mask off. The knife, unknowingly to Tairel, was coming back at him, this time with a mask of rebounding to guide it....But all this was stopped by Tarex. He'd had enough of this."I have other things to do." he said gruffly, walking outside.

OOC: Oh...IC: (Tairel) "EVERYONE CHILL THE KARZ OUT!!!" Seeing his attacks were blocked by the pillars, the Toa of Fire halts his attack; allowing himself to catch his breath. Tairel sheathes his sword and walks toward Tarex and the doctor. But, to his shock (OOC: Get it?), another attack of lightning was coming at him and the sound of the knife whizzing through the air was still there. Tairel reaches for the weapon that a wise Turaga had given him and throws it at the source of the lightning. But, the attack stopped suddenly. And the voice of the Toa of Lightning said, "I have other things to do." The Toa of Fire shoots a wicked glare at the passing Toa of Lightning before turning back to the doctor and the being who had stopped their fighting.

OOC: I though we already were outside lolIC: "THANK YOU," the exasperated Toa of Crystals said, not caring for what Sucogu did, so long as he wasn't fighting.Releasing Ria, who at this point had to have calmed down, at least somewhat, he turned to the newly hired doctor."Okay, why," he began, taking a deep breath in an effort to calm himself and regain some lost energy with the revitalizing air. "did you attack us out of nowhere? To be frank, you're pretty lucky that I'd seen that everything was a little hectic and tense, otherwise I'd have taken Sucogu's side. People tend to not approve of unprovoked attacks, man." he said."You're not hurt, right?" he asked, examining the Toa. "I couldn't really keep track of everything at once, so I might have missed something." he explained. The guy looked fine, but you never really knew.

The Toa of Fire grins as he looks back at the Toa of Crystals. "And, it was 'lucky' that you didn't join in the battle. I'd hate to hurt both of you." The Toa of Fire continues to grin as he knocks on his Mask of Healing, trying to mantain his calm attittude. "If I was hurt, all I had to do was use the mask, but I wasn't hurt. I'm no amateur to fighting." Tairel looks toward the doctor. "You weren't hurt in the battle were you?" asked the Toa, a small trail of compassion in his voice.

IC: Hurting me? Yeah, sure. You have fun fighting a martial artist of my caliber and keeping that bravado, buddy. i've seen the fighters here, you guys have next to no hand-to-hand technique, and the majority of you seem kinda slow.Yeah, come at me any time, bro."Eavesdropping?" he asked, confused. "First off, We kinda just walked in on whatever you were doing with the whole mouth -to mouth thing. What was that, anyway?""Also yeah, she should be fine. I managed to redirect the lightning, nothing else really came our way."

OOC: Wow, way to make her seem RASH Fearless... So much for the "calm, professional demeanor." "Oh to karz with it all, let's just take off someone's head..." (probable words Fearless said while he was writing...)And you say I'M rash (via PM). XDIC: Riaril (both Fearless and I are playing this chick)If the sudden catching of her arm hadn't been a wake-up call, the crystal pillars in the middle of her office sure were. "You weren't hurt in the battle were you?" Tairel asked, slight compassion in his voice.Well isn't this great. I've got two suitors and two toa who know about it... What's a girl supposed to do, kill them all?Riaril shrugged off Tarex's strong, callused hand like one might wave off an unwanted visitor: with customary precision. Seeing the armor Sucogu had left by the door, the armor wrapped in a bag, but still slightly showing out of the top, Riaril let out a relieved sigh, her body visibly relaxing into professional courtesy."So, it worked this time," Riaril said, deciding to COMPLETELY ignore what had just transpired. Or the fact that Tairel, was that his name?, had once again tried to do something stupid: show compassion to a superior. "How much did the blacksmith ask for? I'm sure Jaller won't be too displeased. I'll call Takimoc and team Kanohi dragon so the trea-- I mean patient -- is refitted and in visiting condition by midmorning today." Riaril looked at the lighstone which was her clock. 1:35 am. How'd so much happen so fast?With a flick of her head she beckoned Tairel while saying; "Look, firespitter, get the armor to the room with the toa of water and toa of electricity in it. They're room number 18, on the right side of the hallway. Understood?"She watched him lug the sack off. I could get used to this... Maybe he'll start getting the team coffee too?Turning back to Tarex she finally addressed what happened as she shut the door, leaning her body over the whole she'd cut through the wooden and glass."Okay first, apologies to you and your friend for trying to take his head as a specimen for research. That was uncalled for. Second, I hope you have a lot of widgets to pay for the damage you've caused to this office. Otherwise, you're my new errand boy."She gestured around. Tarex finally took in the massive damages he'd caused. The visitor chair was halved, the desk splintered, even the cabinets slightly binged and bashed. The floor, well, what was left of the stone floor was a horrid mess, and the window Sucogu had just left from was now a broken frame filled with shattered glass, like the teeth of some takea shark's open mouth."Also," Riaril began; "It's not just the office. I now have to check on each patient to make sure they haven't had a heart attack or something from all the noise you three men have caused. That's a good hour of my time which could be spent actually treating patients that need treatment. Finally, thanks for finding the armor. She's gonna' really be indebted to you. When I'm finished operating on her, would you like to speak with her? Maybe you'll find a new friend."

IC - Sucogu - Being the fool he usually isSucogu burst back through the door, in a quick pace. He felt something was unfinished."Don't forget, I had half a part in getting that armor." he said to Riarel.He then pointed to the room where the patients were."I'd also like to see the Toa of lightning."

IC: (Tairel) Tairel nods as he reaches over for the armor and walks toward Room Eighteen. "Room eight, room ten, room twelve, room fourteen, room sixteen, room eighteen." The Toa of Fire walks into room eighteen and looks toward the two patients. All of the light stones were removed, so he could barely see the two beings, but he did see two patiens in bad shape. He lays the armor against the wall and walks back outside toward Riaril and the Toa of Crystal. That was when he saw the Toa of Lightning. Tairel glares coldly at the Toa, hand hovering over the hilt of his sword.

IC: Riaril (both Fearless and I are playing this chick)Riaril literally shot forwards as the door swung open behind her, the force almost ploughing her face into one of Tarex's crystal walls, which he'd somehow not yet put down. "Don't forget, I had half a part in getting that armor." Sucogu said to Riarel.He then pointed to the room where the patients were."I'd also like to see the Toa of lightning." Well, isn't someone needing a shot of humility? Riaril thought, but then again, Sucogu had been kind enough to help Tarex bring her the armor she needed. "Alright, you can see the toa of lightning, if you can just wait until visiting hours," Riaril said, her composure slowly returning. "I'm sorry I don't have anything to really offer the two of you as a reward besides a credit at this hospital. If you're ever in need of acupunture, herbs, or medical treatment, please stop by and say Riaril gave you a credit. Besides, I'll probably be the one treating you, so nothing to fear..." She let that statement trail into obscurity. Something about what she said just didn't sound right."Anyways," Riaril muttered; "If you'd like to see the patient in room 18, Tairel will take you there now." The toa of fire had just come back to the doorway, and was already eyeing Sucogu dangerously. Stick them together for a little while and a muaka becomes the friend of a tarakava.She hoped it would work out.

IC: (Tairel)"Anyways. If you'd like to see the patient in room 18, Tairel will take you there now." You've got to be kidding."Yes, ma'am," said the Toa of Fire, eyes still set on his fellow Toa. "This way."Tairel motions toward room eighteen before leading the way.You'd better not try anything...

IC - Sucogu - I'll probably need to edit this"Alright, you can see the toa of lightning, if you can just wait until visiting hours," Riaril said, her composure slowly returning. IC: Tarex looked around the room, taking in the destruction the two had caused in their scuffle, and the even greater amount that he himself had made ending it.He glanced over to the rooms of the patients, and the full weight of his actions hit him like Jolek's maul.The way the ground had shaken when he called up those pillars... it must have felt like the entire building was falling apart.He visibly deflated, raising a hand to his head."Great Spirit, I'm a moron..." he muttered under his breath.

IC - Sucogu - Olook he has a nicer sideSucogu put a hand on Tarex's shoulder."You did the right thing. I was in the wrong here, you were stopping us from destroying the building.""I mean, more than you did.""But yeah, you did cause quite a bit of properly damage."He wasn't good at this kind of thing."Take us to the patient." he said to Tairel, to change the subject.

OOC: PSP cut off my post so when I'm done could someone merge it? IC: Taking in calming breath, the martial artist accepted his responsibility."I can't pay, so I guess I'm working for you now. I'll help with repairs and everything. I broke it, so I figure I should help fix it. One question, though" he said, looking at Riaril with wide, pleading eyes."I'm something of a martial artist, so will I at least be able to have some time to train?" he asked.

IC: Riaril (Both Fearless and I are playing this chick)"Train?" Riaril said somewhat wistfully; "Absolutely. You have plenty of time to train. Change the bed sheets, paint the walls, carry shipments of herbs, sprint to houses on call for deliveries, oh yes... You have LOTS of time to train. I think a week should be enough."

IC: "Really? Oh, good, I-- Wait a minute," he said, just now processing exactly what type of training she was talking about, not quite what he had in mind. He scratched the back of his head thoughtfully. "I guess some of that could be physical training..."He sighed. "Guess I'll have to find my own time to keep my technique up to speed, then."

OOC: I'll just plonk myself in the forst and start wandering from there. Feel free to interact or kick me in the head if you want...IC: Toa TromosTromos scratched his head. He had somehow gotten himself lost within the charred forest, just as it was starting to get dark. It wasn't that he was scared of the dark that bothered him, nor was it that this was where he saw that Rahi and saved that Matoran from certain death, and nor was it that everything seemed darker than usual. It was the simple fact that he had got himself lost in the first place."Stupid. Stupid. STUPID. How do I always manage to do this to myself?" He spat as he continue to walk, not sure which way was North or South or whatever. Or was he even heading North? he didn't know. And that annoyed him.The path up ahead seemed to get smaller. That was probably a bad thing. He ought to just walk in one direction and not stop until he reached civilization. Wait, that was a stupid idea too. How was he so stupid as to forget which way he had come from? If only that Matoran he had saved all those months ago was there. They'd be able to help him. His memory was so bad, he couldn't even remember the Matoran's name. All he really remembered was that they painted all the flames on his armour. Which he loved.Shifting his light shield from shoulder to shoulder, Tromos realised that maybe he wasn't as lost as he thought. He could see, further up the path, something twinkling. Something blue and shiny.Since he was lost, he might as well do and see what it was.

IC: Senatos: Ta-Koro:Senatos just got in Ta-Koro when the battling began between a couple of toa. He wanted to check it out and walked over to Tariel and co. He moved over to Tarex. "I hate to bother you right now, but have you heard of a murderer on the loose?" Senatos asked politely.

IC: (Tairel)Was that an apology in the Toa of Electricity's voice. Maybe Tairel was wrong about him after all."Take us to the patient."The Toa of Fire nods again, but stays for a little while longer; hearing the second being was not finished talking to the doctor."I'm something of a martial artist, so will I at least be able to have some time to train?" Apparently, Tarex was apologizing for the mess he made and was asking if he could work off the trinkets it cost to repair the hospital."Train? Absolutely. You have plenty of time to train. "Murderer?" All thoughts of room eighteen were forgotten as far as Tairel was concerned."Where is the body?" The Toa of Fire looks toward Riaril as he says,"Perhaps we can peform an autopsy."

OOC: This is the part of the show when two of my stories combine.IC - Sucogu - Hospital"I have heard of no murder. Of course, I've been tied up in a chain of events today." he told the newcomers.The Toa of electricity was studying these people, seeing what he could tell about them in case they were hostile. The mask of sensory aptitude means they could've been listening for a while. Then again, he hadn't said much of anything worth noting.

IC: His misgivings with his new employer's idea of "training" ignored for the moment, Tarex turned to face the new being who'd adressed him."Murder? No, I haven't heard of any murders going on lately, besides maybe that huge fight out in front of the village that I nearly got sucked into earlier today. Does it have something to do with that?" he asked.

IC(Love's Company): The three moved to the slightly renewed Charred Forest, and into the treetops of Le-koro.Intent on remaking Love's abode.OOC: Love and co to Le-wahi.

OOC: Sorry about the delay, I understand from reading the GD that you were waiting on me. I apologize I've just been busy. IC NikaronNikaron smiled, "The front gate you say. Let's see a Toa of Ice comes to the hottest Koro, with the possible exception of Po-Koro. Regardless, he's going to want to cool off. There are only two places on tue island where he can do that. Ko and Ga-Wahi. Ga-Wahi borders the beach making it the obvious choice. But I'm willing to bet that our friend is smarter than that." He gestured to Tuara. "After all he got past you, a high-ranking smart member of the Guard. So if he's not going to Ga-Wahi, than he most likely went through Ko-Wahi. Even if he's has other business he most likely wanted to cool off and thus at least passed through Ko-Wahi. When a murderer like him goes through somewhere he more often than not leaves a trail, and I believe that we." Nikaron gestured towards everyone around, including Salamander. "Can pick up that trail. So who's up for catching a murderer."

IC: Riaril mentally sighed once again. She hated having to work this late..."Wait here," she called, then trotted into the office to retrieve the paperwork she had filled out on the mysterious injuries of her female young patient. Walking out once more, the female toa gave them to the one wearing the helmet-shaped mask."We received a patient today whom I was told by the Ta-Koro Guard to inspect for signs of an attack by the murderer. We don't allow visitors right now," explained the Ga-Toa. "However, you can borrow this copy of the sheet detailing her injuries and explaining their possible causes, as well as comparing them to similar wounds on bodies we've seen before."She then leaned back into the wall and closed her eyes. It was nice to get a little respite. But her head didn't stop spinning, feeling like she was still active. Coffee, cigarettes, and the emotional roller coaster the toa had just gone through had combined in an unholy trinity to beleagure Riaril with a sort of dim and haunting awareness.What she needed right now was to sleep. Of course, that could only be possible if others didn't need her right now.Opening her eyes once more, the Ga-Toa looked to the group. "Anything else you require from the head of the hospital?," she asked politely, tired eyes saying all anyone needed to know about her mental state even though her voice didn't tell.

IC: (Tairel)"Anything else you require from the head of the hospital?" asked the Toa of Water. By the sound of her voice and the look in her eyes, the group could tell she was exhausted. And who wouldn't be after everything that happened? "I don't think so, Ma'am," he replied. It felt...weird calling the Toa you kissed Ma'am. But, he didn't forget the "speech" that she gave him after the kiss. "You just get some rest and I'll finish up here."He knew he didn't have much authority yet, but he wanted to show her that he could handle things at the hospital when she was away or needed rest (like now).

IC: Riaril stopped and thought. She was tired, after all...Leaving Tairel in charge was so tempting.Then she shook herself out of her drowsiness, barely aware that she was actually shaking her head. What was she thinking? Despite her state, he had no idea how to run a hospital and would require her assistance with anything more than a minor problem."Here," she said unsteadily, "You can run the hospital, but only to keep watch. If there are any new patients, get me. A guide to my paperwork should be in the front drawer of my desk, so you won't have any problems finding files," the toa added as an afterthought.Turning with one hand on the wall to check herself just in case, the Ga-Toa readied to leave.

IC: Senatos: Ta-Koro:"Do you have records of the murder?" Senatos questioned.

IC: "Wasn't a murder, she managed to get away." Tarex clarified, stepping back to allow Ria to pass."In fact, the Toa of Lightning'n I just got back from getting her a replacement set of armor. We've got next to nothing concerning information about the attacker, besides that he's a Toa of Lightning himself, and uses some sorta slashing weapon, maybe a chain. As we all know, that doesn't narrow things down too much." he said, putting on a contemplative expression.

IC: (Tairel)"Don't worry, you can count on me," he replied to the Ga-Toa. "Now, you go rest and I'll take care of everything here."The Toa of Fire smiles at Riaril then looks back toward the two. Tarex had gotten into a conversation on the murder with the other being while his new "enemy" was standing there waiting to go to room eighteen.
