BZPRPG: Kumu Islets

IC:Odhrán"Oh okay." Odhrán said, shrugging his shoulders at Tooroko. "But why on earth would you want to go with that wimp? He was wimpy, like little babby!"He turned to Moylan. "Really? Well then you don't have to come with us. Into his shop that is. He doesn't know you're on the crew." Odhrán said, patting Moylan on the back.He turned to Xxeth then. "Then you stay on the boat with Moylan. Have a sparring match or something. Me, Tooroko, Draebe, and Twilite will go ashore in Ta-Koro."

OOC: Good news! The Shadow is not, in fact, dead. There was an accident with a tunnel, and a Rahi, and everyone thought he was dead.IC: The ShadowThe Shadow rowed the boat towards the islets. He could see the Xa-Koro islet in the distance.

IC (Sentraken): Sentraken let go of the being, calming down. "I see. Toa. Right." he said, trying to sound like he knew what or who that was, "So, who are you?" he looked around, noting the similarities between all of the beings present.

IC (Lohkar)Lohkar stumbled downstairs into the bar of the Black Spot Inn."Rum," he mumbled to the bartender, before slumping onto a stool. Before long the Skakdi returned with a mug of Old Hoto. Without looking up, Lohkar took the mug and drained it in one gulp.Wiping his mouth, he straightened up, the twinkle returning to his eyes, and spotted Gunner."Top o' the mornin', Gunner," he said in a voice that was infinitely more energetic and cheerful than before. "Slept well?"

IC: The Captain stumbled into the room hurriedly, slapping cap onto head. "GOOD MORNING CAP'N AND GUNNER!," he said hastily and quite enthusiastically.The toa moved to before the bar-quite obviously so that he could order. But before he did so, he turned back to the two of them, face very serious."Now you mustn't wake Raknar cuz he's very tired and he needs his sleep so be as quite as possible like this," he whispered, putting a finger over his mouth. "Okay? Good."The toa then swaggered back to ordering.

IC (Lohkar)"Well," said Lohkar, taking another slurp of rum from his refilled mug, "I'll agree that Raknar needs 'is beauty sleep."

IC: Aki paled. He turned to Lohkar for a second-it appeared as though all his thoughts about ordering were forgotten."Beauty sleep is something girls do, right?...Therefore, RAKNAR'S A GIRL?!," he shouted in dismay. "NOW I'M GOING TO TAKE ALL THE PLUSHES OF HIM I SECRETLY BOUGHT LAST NIGHT OUT OF HIS-HER BED!," the toa exclaimed, appearing completely and utterly distraught.

IC (Lohkar)"A toast to Aki Rua Doomslayer, who shall 'enceforth be known as 'Captain Logical'," Lohkar said, raising his mug.

IC: GunnerGunner looked up from his bowl of...well he wasn't quite sure what it was, but it seemed edible.'Doomslayer, if someone were to read your mind, they would find nothing more than half a tumble weed, floating a puddle composed of the other half of said tumbleweed,' he said, 'And that would be on your good days.'OOC: Gunner channels his inner Blackadder.-Void

OOC: Ghosthands, I LOL'ed at that.Do you spend ages making up these jokes, or do they just come to you?IC: Ignotus"You may call me Ignotus; Now, in your culture, as I saved yoyr life, you are indebted to me." Ignotus explained, calmly.

IC: MoylanShe patted Odhran on the back with slightly more force than Odhran did, so not to be outdone."That will be fine with me."

IC: "Why, thank you!," The Captain said to Lohkar gratefully. He grinned. "I just KNEW someone would eventually see how awesome I am."He then turned to Gunner and scowled. "Lissen 'ere, young man! I am The Captain Aki Rua Doomslayer The First, and you know what that means? It means I actually..."Said Doomslayer paused. It appeared as though he was thinking hard amid a mental conflict; his beret was briefly removed and head scratched. "Want you to teach me how to use THIS!," he declared, whipping out the dao and flashing a grin.

IC:Odhrán"Glad that's settled." Odhrán said. "Now let's set sail!"

IC (Sentraken): Sentraken thought it a bit strange to be indebted to someone who may or may not be lying, but he seemed friendly enough, so he went ahead and bowed, "Thank you, Ignotus, for saving my life, sans memory." he said to Ignotus' feet.

OOC: Most of them just come to me on the spot IC (Lohkar)Lohkar rolled his eyes."Lowest form o' wit, an' it still goes over 'is head."

OOC: GH, lowest form of wit, highest form of intelligence. Or something like that...IC: Ignotus"You are welcome." Ignotus realised at this point that he would have to convince Sentraken that they were the good guys. He pointed at the mainland. "Y'see that island? It used to be ours, but the beings on it now stole it from us. We're planning to get it back, and you were planning to help us, until you lost your memory."Ignotus then turned to Laz."Laz, go to Le-Koro. Scout around. Make a strategy."IC: Laz"It's what I do best." Laz said, grinning. He flew off, in the direction of Le-Wahi.OOC: Laz to Le-Wahi.

IC (Sentraken): Sentraken looked around, at the slum these poor creatures were forced to live in. How could anyone be so heartless? "I understand." he said, "Is there no more of my kind here? What happened to them?"OOC: Suppose, say, any that left the island, perhaps?

IC: Ignotus"Many left. Others are among those who took control of the island." Ignotus answered.OOC: He's turning Sentraken against his own species now. :PBTW, why isn't Sentraken's lack of depth-perception listed in his weaknesses?

OOC: Yes, pre-amnesia. I'll edit his profile to say he's lost his memory and his personality has changed as a result. And I might give him his old personality back when his team returns, but I won't mention specifically where they came from. then I can have a nice character arc. Strangely enough, I had another character who lost his memory then got it back. Coincidence IC (Sentraken): "Curse them, curse them all!" he clenched a fist in the air, and stared angrily at the island across the waters. Turning to Ignotus, he then said, "What is our next course of action?"

IC: Ignotus"Laz is our strategist. We plan to take back a small settlement, but I've sent Laz ahead to figure out how we should do it." Ignotus answered. Things were going better than he could possibly have imagined.IC: The ShadowThe Shadow noticed another Vortixx, standing beside three creatures the species of which he didn't recognise. Althouugh his hat was lost, and his coat was in tatters, he still gave off an air of power as he walked towards the four beings."Morning."OOC: This'll be fun.

IC (Sentraken): Sentraken looked down at himself, then back to the approaching being. Upon realising who, or rather what he was, Sentraken charge at the being, blade drawn. He grabbed him by the neck, "Who's side are you on?" he demanded, his sword inches away from the beings face.

IC: The Shadow"My own." The Shadow replied coolly, pushing the blade away from his face. "You should out that way; You might hurt someone."

IC (Sentraken): Satisfied that this being was not a suppressor, Sentraken put his sword back in the sheath on his back, and let go of him. "What is our species called? Why are you here?"

IC: The ShadowThe Shadow realised that this being had lost their memory."Our species is called Vortixx. I am here as I am on the run from the beings on the island, as they disagreed with my beliefs. They are under the impression I am dead."OOC: And now Sentraken will be under the impression that The Shadow is a hero. Oh, the irony.

IC (Sentraken): "Then join us. We are going to fight back against the islanders." he said, gesturing to his bat-like allies, "Someone has been sent up to scout already, I believe."

IC: The Shadow & Ignotus"Sounds fun." The Shadow walked over to Ignotus and the others. "Greetings!" He held up his hand in a strange gesture, with two the four of his fingers seperated in the middle, with two fingers on each side touching, making a sort of 'V' shape."You do know you look like a complete fool doing that, right?" Ignotus pointed out.The Shadow, taken aback by the creature's ability to speak, lowered his hand."Uh... Sorry." He said. "So, apparently you're attempting to fight against the islanders?""Indeed. We are taking over." Ignotus answered."I don't suppose I could get revenge on one particular Toa?" The Shadow asked.That's the second time today someone's asked for revenge on a Toa."What does this Toa look like?""Tall, mainly red, a bit of black. Silver armour. His mask is a Calix." The Shadow answered.Correction: That's the second time today someone's asked for revenge on the same Toa."I have already promised that Toa's death to another. I will be willing to help you; I'll send a Mystix to find him when Laz returns."

IC: Xxeth"Fine, I guess. I'll just be putting my cloak back on." Xxeth went off to fetch it below deck.

IC: Ignotus & LazLaz flew in."Emperor, I have returned, and I have a plan.""Good. I shall call the Mystix together." Ignotus answered. "IT IS TIME!"

IC (Zar): "Very good, my liege." Zar commented in his usual grovelling manner, "The soldiers are... Itching for a fight."

IC: GunnerGunner rolled his eyes, 'Okay, step one: Shove item up your-''Oy, mate,' one of the servers shouted at him, 'You haven't paid for your meal yet!''That's the idea,' he responded, grumbling to himself as he dug into his pocket, laying a pile of widgets on the table.OOC: 1) Gunner was going to say 'nose'. You were all thinking it. 2) Fearless Leader: What does Doomslayer want Gunner to teach him?-Void

IC: Kraal & LazOnce all the Mystix were assembled, Laz revealed his plan."Alright, here it is." He had placed a three-dimensional carving of Le-Koro on a flat rock, and was using it as a table. He picked up some small stones."Agira, you and Kraal will go underneath them. You will go up, to here -" Laz took a stick, and pointed at the Gukko Force headquarters. "With this." He threw a small vial to Agira. "It's poison. Put it in the Gukko feed; It will leave them useless against attacks from the air."He then turned to Zar."You, Ignotus and I will go in from the air. There are some naturally occuring explosive fruits, I managed to take some on my way back. I have planted a false trail; They believe the attack is coming from inland."He turned back to Kraal."You and Agira will need to leave quickly. They may already have warned the Turaga."

OOC: Shall we throw in a few non-recurring NPCs, to spice it up a bit? Not to follow us around around, but while we're there a few bits of cannon fodder to hang around.IC (Sentraken): "And where do we come in?" said Sentraken, referring to himself and The Shadow.

OOC: I said he took out his dao. A dao is a Chinese variant of the saber; considering Gunner uses a weapon which is pretty similar, The Captain at least appears to believe that Gunner can teach him how to use the sword.IC: The Captain nodded excitedly. "Yes, yes?"

OOC: Why not?IC: Laz"That's the clever part." Laz said to Sentraken. He leaned over, and whispered something to him.

OOC: I presume you will PM this clever part to me? IC (Sentraken): Sentraken was deeply intrigued by Ignotus' plan, "Yes, yes, that will work brilliantly!" he said once Ignotus had finished.

IC (Lohkar)"Hahahaha!" Lohkar laughed. "Wonders never cease! The great "Captain" Aki Rua Doomslayer wants Gunner ta teach 'im how ta use 'is sword? Ahahahahaha!"Lohkar tried to take a mouthful of rum, but found his tankard was empty."Bartender!" he called to the Skakdi. "More rum, if y'please."He chuckled again.

OOC: Oh, thanks. I honestly had no clue what a dao was. Sorry about that.IC: GunnerGunner sighed, 'Okay, okay, one second. Let me just grab my sword from upstairs.'A few moments later, Gunner returned, grimacing, 'Okay then, do you know anything about sword fighting or any other combat skills?'-Void

IC(Agira): The mystix put the vial on his hip. "Come with me. Now, Kraal." The mystix flew off, moving the air currents around him to move faster.OOC: Agira to Le-wahi.IC(Draebe): "And...off we go!" The boat began to move, heading for Ta-wahi.OOC: Odhran's crew to Ta-wahi.IC(Lord): The toa of fire saw Agira fly off. He clutched his wounds. "Urg...Blast it...I can't take my revenge on him."OOC: Lord Exterminite open for interaction.

OOC: There are several varieties of dao-so you will see usage of 'piandao' used from now on to indicate exactly what he uses. If you ever need any more help on picturing the weapon, go to my profiles (they're on the first page and ludicrously big) and see his 'Weapons/Equipment' section. You will find a detailed description of his sword there below all his other weaponry.IC: The Captain turned to Lohkar, more than slightly miffed. "It's 'The Captain Aki Rua Doomslayer THE FIRST', and don't you forget it."He then heard Gunner as well and withdrew his kukri, grinning happily. "CHAHP-CHAHP!"Gunner's trained eye could see that both the weapons Doomslayer was currently holding were built for similar things. The kukri was curved viciously towards its foe when wielded, its widening at that point making it an excellent hacking, slashing, and 'chahping' weapon. The piandao similarly widened as it curved, giving it extra weight that resulted in an even more effective sword for the same things.Gunner also knew from past experience that Aki wielded a crossbow. The strength that he required to use such an inefficient weapon could just as easily be utilized for usage of a sword that was heavier and better at slicing than a straight one.

IC (Tooroko): The tall Vortixx was glad that the captain's attention had quickly turned elsewhere and he did not have to face further questions about how easily he was almost pursuaded to turn on the pirates. As the ship moved off, he watched the scenery move past the decks of the... of the... He realised he didn't know the ship's name. He had never heard it said, and nor was it wriiten anywhere."Odhran" he said "What's the name of this ship? I don't remember you ever saying it".OOC: Tooroko to Ta-wahi IC (Hatann): Hatann wandered about the docks, looking for a suitable ship to take him and Dhaejun to Ta-wahi. There were many vessels around Xa-koro, but many of them were in poor condition or too small for a pair of Skakdi. At one stage, he saw a ship that might be suitable, but a Matoran on board told him that it was constantly sprining leaks and wasn't going anywhere until repairs could be made.
