IC: Tillian (Hospital, Ga-Koro)"Hey, don't look at him, look at me," he said with the same cheerful grin that had kicked the Po-Koro Guard into action so many times. "I'm going after Yuru and his little posse anyway sooner or later. I'll get your staff back if it takes me until my dying breath. I promise."-Teezy
IC: [Naona]Naona smiled. "Thanks Commander. That means a lot to me."
IC: Tillian (Hospital, Ga-Koro)"Hey, after everything you've done for me?" he said, finally loosening his hug a bit. "It's the least I could do. You're family. I look out for family."-Teezy
IC: [Naona]"Well, I suppose so," she said, regaining some of her spirit. "Once you recover, I believe you and Emotia have some business to attend to."
IC: Tillian (Hospital, Ga-Koro)"Well, we still have to have the afterparty," he said innocently, a look of confusion evident on the Toa of Gravity's face. "And then there's the part where we give family members gifts and everything..."-Teezy
IC: [Naona]Naona chuckled at her friend's failure to understand. "Yes, the after-party. We'll have to deal with that I suppose."
IC-Praggos:Praggos, ignored by the group, began to write about Tillian's losing his mark, and of the odd vampirism he had to deal with, before searching back through old writings for anything that could result in a similar condition as that which Tillian had.
IC: Tillian (Hospital, Ga-Koro)"Here, y'know what?" asked Tillian, lifting Naona up and sitting her on the desk. "Let me give you your present now, since I know you lost your staff and everything...I know it won't make up for it, but I saw it and I figured it was perfect for you."He reached into his bag and removed a paperweight-like device that had a pen attached to it, along with a lever: when Tillian pulled down on the lever, a complicated-looking number of reactions occurred that all worked together perfectly and resulted in the pen dropping. As it hit the table, the pen scribbled out a little "N" and followed with the rest of Naona's name, all made possible by the turning of the gears."I already took the liberty of setting it to your signature," he said with a huge grin. "I figured it'd help you with your paperwork~!"-Teezy
IC: KraynKrayn rolled his eyes, as he looked on in silence.
IC: [Naona]Naona stared at the machine for a few seconds, but to her, it seemed as if the moment lasted for eternity. She turned back to Tillian, and hugged him."Thank you."
IC: Tillian (Hospital, Ga-Koro)"I'm glad you like it," he said, hugging her back. "It's just a small token of my appreciation for...everything."-Teezy
IC: [Naona]"This is more than just a small token. This ... is a work of art. A device blessed by Mata Nui~! I SHALL NAME IT JOHN."
IC-Praggos:"Is 'John' old enough to work?" Praggos asked Naona. "The rules say you have to be at least one-hundred sixty years of age to join a guard force."
IC: [Naona]"SCREW THE RULES! JOHN ISN'T ALIVE! THE RULES DON'T APPLY TO HIM!"
IC-Praggos:"Now you're discriminating against inanimate objects!" Praggos protested. "Naona, I'm shocked at you."
OOC: Secer from the Kumu isletsIC (Secer, Ga-Wahi docks): Secer was in pain. His left arm was burning, and he couldn't stop it. "Blasted boat," he muttered to himself, tying it up with his good arm. "I wonder what I did to it this time," he mused. "He said out loud, "Where is the hospital?"A nearby matoran pointed the direction, and Secer began his journey, clutching his wounded arm. Blood began to trickle from it, revealing the nature of his injury. Secer had been poisoned.-Bane
IC: [Naona]Naona paused, and turned to gaze at Praggos. "Who are you again?"
IC-Praggos:"Former Ko-Koro guardsman," he said, and then moved aside part of his cloak. "Current mark bearer of Contempt."
IC (NPC nurse, Ga-koro hospital): "Oh, what a busy day," a small Ga-toran said to herself, scurrying down the halls. A new patient had arrived, one who had miraculouly revived by drinking blood. That was the first thing that had unnerved her. Then a black toa stumbled in, carrying a fast-bleeding arm. "And who are you?" the small matoran asked nervously."Name's Rake. I need some help. My arm is burning, and I think it's bleeding. Any help?" he grunted. The small matoran scurried to him, using a towel she had thrown over her shoulder to try and staunch the bleeding. "Oh, my, that's a nasty wound." she said. "Where did you get it?""I don't know," the strange toa said, while following the matoran. He was stumbling around like a druken sailor, and there was nothign she could do to staunch the bleeding. She set him on a bed."Wait here," she said, before scurrying to fetch a doctor.OOC: finish this in a sec.-Bane
IC: Gust (Jade's Cabin, Ga-Koro)Gust woke up and yawned, automatically moving to kiss Jade and meeting nothing but empty pillow.Oh, yeah...she had somewhere to go this morning, he thought, moving to the bathroom to take a shower. Oh, well. I could take the time to move my stuff here...-Teezy
IC: "I space out for three minutes, and this is what happens?" Said Arzanyos, taking a piece of the cake. "We're lucky they haven't noticed. If they had, this would be gone without a fight."
IC: Dalia:"Sorry... For what?" Dalia asked, confused.
IC: Angel (Hospital, Ga-Koro)"That he threatened you," replied the honorary Guardsman. "That you got dragged along by a bunch of mentally unstable emotional vampires on some mad quest for power. That you don't have anyone to have your back at all times of day, even when you clearly deserve somebody to serve that purpose."-Teezy
IC: [Naona]"I ... see?"
IC: (Hari)Hari did not know what to do. Tillian was apparently fine...in a way, it seemed he wasn't a Mark Bearer anymore which was good and bad. Then his commanding officer had finally made it to the hospital but had lost her staff in a battle with one of the Mark Bearers that crashed the wedding. Meanwhile she spent this entire time in a semi-hug with Krayn on his chair with him, not sure if she should move. And Tillian was drinking blood for some reason. This night had been so crazy she thought she could be in a dream, especially given her current position."Uh...um" Now Hari realized how awkward her position was crammed up next to Krayn.
IC: Krayn"Um, right..." It suddenly occurred to Lrayn that he had left his jacket behind, Abd used his shirt for a bandage. His face was slightly tinged with red.
IC: (Hari)Not to mention Hari had also tore up the lower section of her dress right up to her knees to act as bandage as well. Then there was the fact that Krayn had been shirtless and without a jacket. Hari was frozen in embarrassment, as a familiar shade of red began to spread across her face. She couldn't even move her head for fear of seeing the reactions of her two superior officers.
IC: KraynKrayn nervously looked at Tillian, his face a vibrant shade of red.
OOC: How did everyone forget Emotia was there too? IC: Emotia - Hospital, Ga-koro Tillian was promptly tackled my Emotia. "Don't scare me like that again!" She said, hugging him tightly. IC: Skyra - Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi -With Praggos out of the way, it was just me and Iris. I stared at him for a good minute. I wasn't sure what I was gonna do, or what he was gonna do. I considered just attacking him, but ultimately I decided to just see what he did. IC: Mimira - Infernavika, Ga-Wahi -Mimira just giggled at this. "So where we going?"
IC: Tawara (Tidalpool Inn)Having spent the night in a tree near the village's borders, Tawara resumed her search at the crack of dawn. She decided to begin at the Tidepool Inn.The Inn was almost empty, the majority of its inhabitants asleep. The Matoran sat down at a worn table and waited for more customers to arrive. After a few minutes, she pulled out Gyren's journal and began reading. The bog snake is a semi-aquatic, highly venomous reptile which dwells in the Fau Swamp of Le-Wahi. It is primarily dark gray in color, though parts of its body are a vivid orange (see fig. 1) -- a warning to potential predators of the animal's poisonous bite. The snake's diet consists primarily of small reptiles and amphibians, though it is not unknown for it to prey upon fish as well. A bog snake will lie in wait just below the water's surface...
IC: KraynKrayn whispered to Hari. "I vote we run. I think Naona wants to smash my face in."
IC: [Gunner] - InfernavikaQuickly, Gunner dropped onto the deck, "Wherever the wind takes us, my dear. Wherever our hearts draw us to."Flopping down onto the ground, he added, "By which I mean, wherever Grochi says we're going."-Void
IC: Krayn"What do you think?" Krayn asked, still whispering.
IC: (Hari)"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. I'd rather her not dent that beautiful face in." Hari whispered back, getting up from Krayn and pulling him up as well. She started pushing him towards the doorway, trying to get him out of the waiting room as soon as possible."Uh...um...Krayn and I, we got to get going now...we'll see you all later." She said, putting Krayn behind her, trying to hide the very apparent fact that he had been hugging Hari this entire time without a shirt, but given that he was almost a head taller than her, she was failing miserably at her job.
IC: Krayn"How about we skip the step where we awkwardly try to hide?" Krayn quipped, picking up Hari by the waist, and started running. Hari's head was positioned over his shoulder, and Jrayn held her in a way that minimized any discomfort. The De-Toa was moving at a good speed, despite the added weight, as he dodged around confused doctors.
IC: (Hari)"You know I would comment on your big, strong arms and lean, lithe musculature, but I fear Naona would hear us and only get further enraged." Hari joked. Honestly she had no idea how Naona would react to the situation. Would she just let it go because she was in a good mood thanks to Tillian. Probably not, a shirtless Krayn and a Hari with part of her dress torn in a hug, crammed on the same seat probably elicited a form of rage unseen in the island for a long time. "You know I could run...it's not that I'm complaining though..." She said with a flirty smile, before looking back behind them, making sure Naona was not rushing up to meet them and send a fist flying at Krayn.
IC: Krayn"You could." Krayn admitted, continuing to run. "But I'm in danger of being beat up by a girl. I have to keep some form if stereotypical dignity intact."By the point, the duo had made it into the streets of Ga-Koro.
IC: (The Crucible)Cylund only needed a second, a mere second. For that mere second he activated his Hau, the dagger bouncing right off the kinetic shield. He felt a slight drain of energy, as one naturally would - but not holding that shield for that long turned out pretty successful. Just as the Hau shield dissipated, he charged forward, brandishing his swords. His tactical plan was simple: drive Reton into the wall, where his movements would be less formidable. He slashed from the left, and from the right, using cuts that weren't meant so much to harm as to force the other duelist back.(Hospital, Ga-Koro)Meanwhile, Perkahn did not exactly have a good time. He wasn't sure who was behind that extremely vague attack on Tillian's place; he wasn't sure what son of a Mukau was behind smashing him with a mace on the head, either. But, once he woke in a hospital bed, he knew one thing.Aforementioned son of a Mukau was going to pay, as soon as Perkahn would straighten his memories of recent events out.
IC (Reton, Hall of the Crucible):OOC: Nevermind. I'll just count your post as the legal one.
IC: Before long, Reton began to realize what was happening. His opponet was forcing him against the wall. That was a tactical advantage, for him, because it provided protection to his back. But it also limited his movements. He grinned a grim smile, then activated his Kakama. He ran faster than Cylund could see, first recovering his dagger, then advancing on his back with a combination of strikes and stabs at his back.-Bane
IC: Dalia:The Mark-Bearer hugged Angelus, again, "Thank you Angel..."She was crying. Again. Again seemed like the highlight of her day so far.
