IC Flabbergaster
The massive Rahk moved back a bit to let Hoto get through. This was a quick reminder that he had no kneecap.
Ouch.
He grimaced, trying to continue standing.
IC Kat:
"I guess it's really happening, huh? We're really gonna lead these guys out of here?"
IC: Shock
Shock reached the infirmary. He sat down and layed back on a bed, before realizing he still had glass in his back. With a yelp, Shock shot back up, in pain.
IC: Draco
Draco waited before asking (Grim) again. Perhaps he had whispered it? "What has that one done to deserve the punishment?" He said, pointing towards Mangai.
IC: Sidonas - Outside Suvak's Office
"Suvak?" Sidonas called out as he knocked again. "May I speak with you?" Sidonas called, hoping the Skakdi drillmaster was there this time. While he did this, he was running his plans through his head.
So, get supplies, find Recoil, talk to her, then find others. I'll need a sword first, Hook has served me well, but I need to be better equipped if I run into another fight. Now as to those I know aren't fond of Tridax, will they trust me? I'm a lying cheating thief according to Fang. Maybe I have gained some trust, maybe not. Either way, it's my only shot as far as finding other rebel sympathizers go, and I'll have to take it. Now time to prepare, and hope my suspicions are correct.
IC: Haken - Infirmary
With Doubt walking out, Haken went to the Gym, and proceeded to begin slashing at a training dummy with his battleaxe.
IC Doubt
"Um... Excuse me?" Doubt asked again. "Whatcha doin'?"
IC: Bullseye/Causeway
"Building a memorial for those who died. Now, would you please move away from the construction zone until it is done?"
IC: Bullseye/Causeway
I was disrupted with the song I was currently making.
"He is making a memorial for the dead. I am making a song for the dead."
IC: Fang - Cauldron
Fang paused in his work. It was now or never. He sighed and set the metal aside. "Are you... sure now is the right time?" he asked carefully. He tried to meet her eyes.
IC: Hoto - Infirmary
The bed above her creaked softly as someone sat down, and then they let out a piercing shriek of pain. Hoto jumped as the noise rang through her ears, giving a soft squeak of her own. Her head crashed against the bottom of the bed.
She slowly sat up beside the bed, rubbing her head. Her dim eyes blinked at Shock while her clickers gave her information. Another Rahkshi, but not one she recognized. She smiled at him and asked, "Can I help with anything?"
IC Kat:
I met his uneven gaze with one of my own.
"No... No I'm not sure. I'm not sure of anything anymore...."
"You think we should wait?"
IC: Fang - Cauldron
"...maybe," he answered carefully. His hands found the metal again and started fiddling with it, sculpting the protosteel like clay. "Perhaps... with Exxan gone, you might be..." He cut himself off. There was no good way to say this. "...maybe we should let him rest for a while."
IC Kat:
I sighed heavily.
"Maybe.. But word is already getting around. If we don't get these people out of here, there might not -be- a later...."
I tried very hard to ignore the implications of what fang was saying.
IC: Fang - Cauldron
"But we can't just... run off on a whim. These things take time and planning, and... we haven't had that time."
Fang furiously kneaded the metal, cringing at every word.
IC: Illusive - Gym.
I continued going through the motions, slicing and slashing at the targets with Serpent-Fang.
___________________________________________________________________________
IC: Xara - Empty Dorm Wing.
Sneaking in through the empty dorm wing's unused entrance, I returned to the room where I'd left the Matoran. "Anything happen while I was gone?" I asked, dumping the bag of food on a chair.
IC Kat:
I frowned.
"I..... You're right."
"Suppose we come up with a plan tomorrow, at the meeting."
I shook my head, this conversation wasn't going the way I'd hoped.
"I'm ready, if you are, for that armor....." I said, trying to change the subject.
IC: Fang - Cauldron
He wordlessly handed her the pieces he had completed and got to work on another. It was good to hear she agreed.
IC: Nightmare
Nightmare Still Sat there.
IC: Blade
Blade was still Eating.
IC: Sanu
Sanu entered the Gym, Spoon in hand, ready to Show people its Power...
OOC: ALL are open for interaction.
IC Kat:
The pieces were designed to clip on to my existing armor. It took a fair bit of force, they weren't made to come off.
The head piece clipped to the underside of my front face plate, and to the back of my head.
The arm plates ended in blunt spikes, and clipped directly onto my arms.
As Fang continued to work, so did I, continuing to apply the purple patterns.
IC: Raith - Library
I stare for a moment...perhaps this kind of thing is considered normal, by Nymph seems to express that the kneeling rahk is strange with his expression.
"I...haven't come across that expression before. What do you mean?"
IC: Torch - Causeway
I near the school, hoping the weirdo double-rahk is following me...
IC: Shield
As Shield was about to enter the gym, he suddenly realized. I need to make a memorial. Shield began to run back, towards the causeway. "I NEED TO GO DO SOMETHING. I'LL SEE YOU LATER!" Shield yelled, running for the causeway.
IC: Fang - Cauldron
A few minutes later, and Fang handed over the next piece and began work on the last. The silence was wearing at him, but he wasn't sure what to say.
IC: Char - Gym
Char frowned as her little friend disappeared down the hallways. After so much work, he just left her, just like that.
Well, I could follow him and figure out just what is so important, or I could have some fun in the Gym...
She peered around the corner of the door and watched, wide-eyed, as Rahkshi summoned targets and broke them down, or dove through obstacles of all descriptions.
Oh yes, I'm going to have some fun in here.
Char stepped inside and searched for some targets. It seemed the Gym heard her, and put up a few. In a flash, her flare guns were spinning up into her hands and firing off towards them. Large bursts of heat and light exploded around the dummies as her shots collided with them.
Yes, fun indeed.
IC: Sidonas was in luck, Suvak was indeed at his office and answering his door. His remaining face looked harried, as if the events of Visorak had added a couple of thousand years to his age.
"Can I help you?" he yawned
IC Grim:
The battle finished, Grim, Sliver and Subject ended up in front of the door that led to Tridax's inner sanctum.
The Porters chittered and whirred as they stepped forward in response to the appearance of the students.
More worryingly, the battered and unconscious body of Mangai which was tossed carelessly at their feet by Grim.
Evidence of crushing blows and sword slashes were evident, and several arrows stuck out of the unfortunate Rahk from all angles.
"We must speak with the Headmaster," Grim spoke, with a tinge of weariness.
IC: Nightmare
Nightmare Collected his Bloodied knives and Headed towards a Washroom.
IC: Mortsia
Mortsia spoke from the ceiling.
"Awaken he has not
For nightmares still haunt.
He still lays on his cot
Where death still taunts."
IC: Draco
Draco had followed the group. What was this place? Tridax's office, perhaps? "This is Tridax's office, correct?" He asked, hoping so. Somebody needed to be warned of the rebellion, and as a messenger, it was his duty to.
IC: Vlad / Empty Dorm Wing
"In other vords, no, nothink happened," Vlad agreed.
* * *
IC: Lucid / Library
"Neither of you know?" Lucid looked from Nymph back to Raith, astonished. "You really should... It seems like you might have it." The befuddled looks she was receiving told her no, they didn't know, and she explained in a quiet, sympathetic voice, "Interloquienza is a disease... It inflicts victims with an uncontrollable urge to interrupt other people's conversations."
IC: Sidonas - Suvak's Office
"Drillmaster, I sent you a letter before the assignment on Visorak. I was curious as to the status of my request. Might I come in and speak with you about it?"
Sidonas hid the fact that he was suprised and slightly shocked at how the Drillmaster looked as if the chaos that ensued on Visorak had aged him somehow.
IC: The Porters guarding Tridax's office chittered for a moment before the Makuta himself opened the door and emerged from within.
"It seems I am not destined to get a moment's rest today. At east I can see you all do not need new suits."
IC: "You may, if only to remind me of what that request was, lad." Suvak pushed the door open wider and stood aside to let Sidonas in. His quarters were a spartan affair, a bed tucked along one corner, a desk on the other side. Suvak was a practical Skakdi and wanted for little
IC: Torch - Causeway
I near the school, hoping the weirdo double-rahk is following me...
IC: Glaciem Ignis - Hallways.
We continued following the other rahk, wondering why he was flying so slowly.
IC: Vlad / Empty Dorm Wing
"In other vords, no, nothink happened," Vlad agreed.
IC: Xara - Empty Dorm Wing.
"Okay, we've got a decision to make," I found myself a spot to sit down, "Do we keep it here, inside the school, or relocate it elsewhere?"
IC: The Porters guarding Tridax's office chittered for a moment before the Makuta himself opened the door and emerged from within.
"It seems I am not destined to get a moment's rest today. At east I can see you all do not need new suits."
IC: Sliver - Tridax's Office.
Calmly wiping thick globs of Rahkshi blood off my blade, I looked up at Tridax's words. "This one was preaching open rebellion against you," I indicated the unconscious rahk with a kick, "We thought it best to bring him to you."
IC Grim:
They knelt, and bowed their head, speaking softly.
"'Tis true, he openly incited rebellion against you, though few came to his aid. We brought him to you that you would be able to serve judgement upon him, Lord Tridax."
IC: Vlad / Empty Dorm Wing
"I think it vould be viser to relocate it," Vlad said, realizing after the words had been spoken that he had slipped into following Xara into gender-neutral pronouns instead of the masculine ones he was trying to stick to. "It seems too likely zat somevun vill stumble upon him if ve leave him here... Perhaps ve could find a cave on zer mainland, far from both school unt village, unt put him there?"
IC: Xara - Empty Dorm Wing.
"That might be too far away," I hesitated, "Remember, Palma is the only one we know who can speak Matoran. We need her to interrogate it once it wakes up." I thought it over, "If we took it to the mainland we'd probably have to bring it all the way back here so Palma could speak to it... perhaps we should find a cave or something on this island instead."
IC: Draco
"Indeed. But I believe that there may be another rebellion," Draco said, talons clicking. "One of less incompetent students, but still fools for trying."
IC: Mortsia
Mortsia thought. Relocating meant that they could put the Matoran at risk from Rahi, and somewhere else a Rahkshi could find him- one loyal to the Makuta. But wasn't he? He wasn't sure anymore. He sighed. It seemed that keeping him here was the best option, yet he was still hesitant. He decided to weigh the options.
IC: Sidonas - Suvak's Office
Sidonas walked in, giving the Drillmaster a "Thank you." as he walked in. Sidonas turned around to face the Skakdi, and spoke. "I'm requesting for some forging supplies and equipment. Metals, leather for grips and gauntlets, pins, bolts, well-tightened strings, standard equipment and parts for gadgetry, weapons, armor, and the like. I have some molds, casts, and a few scraps, but recently my supplies have been running a bit low. Left a note at your door, not sure what became of it after that."
IC: Vlad / Empty Dorm Wing
Vlad nodded. "Yes, zat vould vork..." He paused a moment, and added, "But it vould have to be vell-hidden, of course."
IC: Xara - Empty Dorm Wing.
"Well, if one of you wants to start looking, feel free."
IC: Vlad / Empty Dorm Wing
Vlad had his doubts that he would be very good at finding caves.
But he knew that Ivan would be excellent.
He glanced to his Ice Bat, who had fluttered in at some point and was hanging lazily from the ceiling. "I think Ivan unt I could find vun," he told Xara. "Who vill vatch zer Matoran, though?"
IC Grim:
"You would be wise to stay silent, winged one. Were it not for your interference, we might have been able to bring this one here sooner."
The fact that this winged misshapen spawn even was allowed here was of great confusion to Grim.
IC: Xara - Empty Dorm Wing.
"It's fine; I'll stay here."
IC: Vlad / Empty Dorm Wing, Outside
"Ah, okay." Vlad was pretty sure he could trust Xara on this (Mortsia less so), and plus even if he didn't, there wasn't really much he could do against her. "I'll try be back here soon, zen."
With that, he motioned to Ivan, and the closely followed by his fluttering companion, strode out of the room. Not even bothering to attempt stealth (he literally wore a beacon, after all), Vlad simply threw came to the doors and then flew out onto the roof. Landing, he gave Ivan a short briefing (unnecessary, Ivan lightly bemoaned in his head) on his assignment, and sat there staring off into the sky, as if this was his entire purpose coming here. Perhaps this tiny subterfuge would be vital in the long run, who knew?
Meanwhile, as a small bat darting about the cliffs below the imposing school walls, Ivan was pretty unnoticeable anyways. Unless you were looking for him or up close, you'd probably not even notice him as he flew back and forth, constantly sending out little probing squeaks in a search for suitable caves which had been performed and perfected by generations of Ice Bats.
IC: Bullseye/Causeway
Bullseye watched as Toxin completed the fourth pillar for Silencer, and he carved the song notes on.
Then he came the fifth for Zex, and he put up the "Song of Lament."
For the next Rahkshi, he did not know well either, but suddenly a Rahk came through the Causeway.
"Whoa! What are you doing running around?"
