  • IC: KiaraniKiarani led Amaris through the hallway to a room not far from the living room. The room was decorated in a similar fashion to the rest of the dwelling, with built in wooden drawers below a small closet. The bed occupied one corner of the room, covered with a thin blanket. Not much more was needed, due to the warmth of the region. On the walls hung several portraits, each one portraying a Toa in the same garden seen outside, or in the house itself. All of them were evenly spaced, with one exception. There was a blank space on the wall, where a picture was clearly supposed to hang. The wood had changed color from exposure to sunlight, except for one patch in the shape of a portrait. It was obvious that one had used to hang there, but had been taken down.
IC: Amaris, Ta-KoroAmaris momentarily considered asking about the spot on the wall at were no portrait hung, but then she remembered what her host was doing for her. "This... This is so nice." Amaris said, momentarily forgetting to not let slip her lack of proper bedding in the past few years. "Thank you so much," Amaris said, about to name her host, before remembering she didn't know her host's name. "Oh, I don't believe I know your name." She continued, slightly embarressed. "Amaris." She said, offering a hand to shake, though she was unsure if this impassive Toa would accept it.

Arios has trained hard, and is now close to mastering his toa tool, the "Firespitter". The two have seen heard of what the island is like, and Nanashi has decided to join the "Island Liberation Front", an organization trying to help the island be free of the Makuta. The two have gone there separate ways, with Arios leaving to seek the help of a more experienced fire toa, to finish his training. He has decided to search in Ga-Koro first, on a hunch.OOC: Nanashi to Le Arios to Ga

  • IC: Kiarani"Certainly. This way." Kiarani replied, turning out of the room, and walking further down the hall. Near the end, a room branched off to the left, with the door slightly ajar. The brief glimpse provided displayed a neat room, a writing desk, and a closet. It was similar in design the guest room, but on a slightly larger scale.Kiarani, on the other hand, opened the door to the right. Inside was a relatively bare room, with several racks around the edges. Upon said racks hung several towels, all folded with precision. The dominating feature of the room, however, was the depression in the ground that took up the majority of the total space. It was filled with water, that flowed in from a small passage in the wall. If Amaris were to test it, she would find the water was quite warm. "The water flows in from a relatively small stream. My father found it many years ago. It flows down from the in Ko-Wahi, and is heated by the natural heat from the volcano."

A couple of the Guardsmen had started running towards two newcomers. His smile grew a little again, giving Pakaru a look, "Jaller has his Deputy back."IC: Tuara - Ta-KoroTuara strode past the Guards at the gate, smiling at her return. It had been a long time. Months she had been gone, but now the familiar heat welcomed her as though she never left, cradling her in it's powerful warm arms. Her steps were no longer as long as they once were, she had started noticing how she reserved herself; started holding back. She looked across the way to see Jaller at his door. She nodded respectfully to her Captain before turning to her own office, Angelus close behind. She opened the door, and let out a long sigh, "Home," she looked to Angelus and gave a smile. Stepping to her desk, she placed her hand on it, moving around some old files.

That had been almost a year ago now, and to think, staring at her now, that the two of them had come so far, been through so much, bonded so closely...Angelus's heart warmed, and he had a feeling it wasn't just because of the heat."I hope you don't sleep here," he said, taking a couple steps forward and looking around. • OOC: Getting Norkaron out of the jail since she hasn't had any interaction for a long time. If this isn't allowed, feel free to put her back inIC: NorkaronNorkaron had finished meditating. She got up and looked around. Sure enough, the guard was sleeping. It was a deep sleep of drunkeness, something that couldn't be snapped out of even if the Makuta himself shot his way into the room. Slipping her hand in between the bars, she managed to pilfer guard's key and mask. Quietly unlocking the door, she snuck out of the jail. At midnight, many of the guards were sleeping, but twice as many were awake, so Norkaron soon found herself in a firefight. Fortunately for her, most of the guards on duty that night were matoran; they couldn't put up much of a resistance. She managed to force her way out of the jail and into the streets. Stealing a Kadin from a mask shop and looting an ornate cross that could be used as a weapon from a cosplay store, she threw the guard's powerless mask behind her and took off into the night sky.OOC: Norkaron to Ga

The prospect of leaving the treehouse he'd built and lived in back at Le-Wahi for the past few years left a hard knot in the Toa of Fire's intestines, right in the middle of the makeshift Mark of Lust scrawled out there, but at the same time, the events of the last year seemed like they merited a fresh start. "Thank you, Kiarani, for letting me stay here." She said, decided to show her gratitude. "I hope I am not too much of a problem." IC: Tirus, Ta-KoroTirus walked through the streets of Ta-Koro, repsonding to Tajeh as he waded through the crowds of Ta-Matoran. "I don't know. Maybe the fact they farm lava, and love heat? No, that couldn't be it." The journey had made him a bit irratible, and Tirus wasn't that pleasant in the first place.Soon, they escaped the main city, and journeyed a few hundred meters away, towards a lonely, mountainous stretch of land, with a well-beaten path leading between two jagged peaks of volcanoes, lava flowing down their sides and into the lake below.

  • IC: OnuzekThe hulking Toa nodded in agreement to Valria's first statement. "Onuzek thinks the waitress's eye was all twitchy," he said to her gravely. Although he tried to keep his voice down, the Toa of Gravity still said it a bit louder then most people would whisper. Not really noticing this, though, Onuzek considered Valria's second sentance."Errr... Onuzek doesn't exactly know," he replied after what seemed like a moment of deep concentration and remebering for him. "Onuzek was in Le-Wahi... Looking for Skyra... And then Onuzek attacked by Big-Mean-Muaka... And then Onuzek wakes up in Le-Koro."It was probably for the best that the lovable titan didn't remember the brief time that he was Infected by the Makuta. Somethings would just be too hard for him to take in.
OOC: My inability to reach this site within the past week or so is driving me insane.IC: (Valria - Diligence)Valria decided to leave the conversation about the waitress at that. It wasn't really something Onuzek needed to think about. She thought on all that Onuzek had said, apparently he had been through quite a journey and now the taller and stronger Toa was hanging out her. Even though he didn't really know her too well. The lovable lug was company and he didn't seem to mind questions that much and didn't really throw out any of his own. Though if he did ask, Valria was considering how much she would tell him."So...who's Skyra?" Valria asked, as the waitress returned with their drinks, including a complimentary glass of water. She sipped her water as she awaited the response of the gargantuan Toa in front of her. With whatever money they had left she would have to pay for an inn after this, preferably something cheap, given that her budget limited at the moment. She would find a way, so far hard work had been paying off for Val and she had met some friends along the way. She assumed with Onuzek's rather large order it would be some time before they could wheel it out to their table.

OOC: I hear ya. :PIC: Onuzek [Ta-Koro] The hulking Ba-Toa considered Valria's question for a time, not exactly sure how to describe someone who he considered to be one of his best friends. "Um," Onuzek started, "Skyra is black-green-armored Air-Toa with swords and Onuzek's friend and, uh, Onuzek met long time ago and Onuzek can't remember when. Onuzek was looking for Skyra cause Skyra found Skyra's Friends and so Onuzek didn't know where Skyra went so Onuzek was sad."Taking a deep breath, the gigantic Toa started again, much to the annoyance of the beings seated around them. "Once, Skyra help Onuzek fight evil Ice-Toa at hospital here, but then hospital falled on Onuzek and he didn't know what happen to Skyra for long time, after. And Skyra doesn't like wheelchairs.""Onuzek is sorry," he said after his story was done, a bit embarressed, "Onuzek starts talking sometimes and poeple don't understand him but Onuzek just keeps talking..."

  • IC: Tirus, Ta-Koro OutskirtsAs Tirus reached the dual volcanoes, the path rose into a hill of scorched earth, reaching its heighest point between the towering, lava-spewing turrets of stone. From this hill, one could see the path zig-zag through a minature Charred Forest, before rising up an inactive volcano's side, stopping at a cliff carved out of stone. Upon this cliff was a large, squarish structure, with a taller construct built into the stone slope behind it, and connected to the main square of a structure. From the main structure, a mighty chimney, resembling an industrial smoke stack, eructed fumes and vapor. Tirus's forge was a slightly menacing, and most definetely industrial, sight, a utilitarian fusion of stone, metal, and smoke.IC: Amaris, Ta-KoroAs Amaris bathed, appreciating the soothing heat of the water, she thought of current events, years of the past, and the times to come.

  • IC: KiaraniToday has been an eventful day.I restrained a bartender, one who had killed several shopkeepers, in his own bar, leaving him for the Guard to arrest. Minutes later I fought and defeated a Toa of Lightning who sought to bring ruin to the village. A short time after that, I was forced to fight two misguided fools, both of whom in the end retreated. The rest of my time there was mostly uneventful, with little occurring until I left for home, and my afternoon training. A Matoran, a Toa, and a Skakdi happened upon me, and the Skakdi, Amaris, is currently occupying the guest room. The other two wait outside my door. If they do not leave, I will make them do so.I must admit, I have mixed.... Emotions is not the word, for I have worked long and hard to restrain those. No, feelings might be a bit more accurate, though little better. It is perhaps time that I reacquaint myself with other beings, but I am leery of having one in my home. She may ask questions I do not wish to answer, but if she asks, it would be impolite of me not to.Kiarani paused, the tip of her quill hovering over the page.

Tirus said, a smirk on his face. A few minutes later, they were climbing the steep path up the inactive volcano, only the smoke of the forge visible above.IC: Amaris, Ta-KoroAmaris, having finished her bath, quickly and silently exited the shower room, and walked over to the guest room. Next to her bed, Amaris had left her quiver-like traveling bag / weapon holder. Underneath all the swords, axes, and other weapons, she found her secondary set of clothes wrapped in a black cloth. It was a simple suit of copper and red scale armor, fitting loosely over chainmail, which she quickly dressed in, before putting on the utilitarian scales of hardened metal. As she returned her towel to the bathing room, Amaris paused, oddly interested in the room she had noticed during her first time down this hall, the room directly on the left. As she listened, Amaris heard the definite sound of a quill. When the quill stopped Amaris prepared to knock. Are you out of your mind? She lets you stay in her house, and you intrude on her privacy? Wincing at the thought, but unable to curb her curiosity, Amaris rapped softly on the door.
