IC: KiaraniKiarani paused, closing her journal. "Come in."
OOC: Can you use any more words in the profiles. Jeez, talk about heavy reading for just telling me she's green. :PIC(Tajeh): "I imagine I will too." Tajeh replied. He never figured his pack or new sword heavy until today. It felt like he was carrying the island on his back.
IC: PakaruPakaru walked alongside his friend Parata in silence. Even during their short meeting with Jaller, he had chosen to remain silent, instead letting Parata deal with talking to Jaller by himself. Looking back, things might have gone better had Pakaru done the talking, but there was no changing the past. Not that I would for something as trivial as this..."So. Should we stick around, or do as he said? I'm not sure we would be doing a lot of good by staying here; there might be places that need our help more."
OOC: I'm the H.P. Lovecraft of the BZPRPG Profiles. With more adjectives. :3IC: Tirus, Ta-Koro As Tajeh finished his sentence, they arrived at the massive door of the forge, a colossal of woodworking, stretching several feet above their heads, constructed of ironwood. Gripping the handle casually, Tirus pulled slightly, and the door swung open easily, a rather anti-climatic movement. However, the massive blast of scalding hot air that rushed forth to greet them wasn't anti-climatic at all, but rather frightening, and for Tajeh, undoubtedly uncomfortable.IC: Amaris, Ta-Koro"Is there a wash basin or something of the sort for laundry?" Amaris said, making up an exuse for her prying on the spot. It was, in fact, something she had momentarily wondered about, but far removed from her original reason.
IC: Kiarani"Yes." The Onu-Toa slid her seat out, and turned in it to face Amaris. As always, her face was expressionless and her body language conveyed very little. But at the same time, it was clear that a barrier that had been up before was not in existence. Her posture was relatively relaxed, and it was quite clear that she was not on her guard.
IC: Amaris, Ta-KoroJust ask where the wash basin is and get the heck out of here. "Oh, good..." Amaris said, ending her sentence with an unsure pause. Are you insane? She's given you a place to sleep. A bed. With a matress. Have you ever slept on a matress? "Is something wrong?" Amaris asked, her voice quiet and nervous. She didn't like questioning the host who was giving her a place to sleep, but her curiosity couldn't be controlled.
IC: KiaraniFor a moment, a single spark of an unidentifiable emotion flickered in her eyes, before being forced back down into the dark depths in which it, and all like it, were imprisoned."Nothing more than usual, no."Thank Mata Nui she doesn't know the events of the past few decades well. If she did, the name 'Josen' alone would have made her wary to come anywhere near me.
IC: AxeronBored, Axeron walked out of Kiarani's estate, heading north to Ga-Koro.OOC: Axeron to Ga-Wahi.
OOC: I finally got around to reading Kiarani's profile. This should be very interesting.IC: Amaris, Ta-Koro"Sorry to disturb you..." Amaris replied, unsure of how to continue a conversation after getting a reply like that. Stepping back, she prepared to leave Kiarani be.
IC: Kiarani"Don't be. You are my guest, it is your right to disturb me whenever you wish." Kiarani paused, as if she knew the conversation wasn't over, but wasn't sure how to continue it.
IC: Amaris, Ta-KoroWas that a compliment or a warning? Or both? This conversation is nearly as confusing as the reason you decided to start it. "Ah, right..." The silence that followed Amaris's audibly confused response was agonizingly awkward. "Is that a journal? Do you write?" Amaris asked, noticing the journal and forcing herself to ask the question.
IC: Kiarani"Yes, it is a journal." Kiaani glanced back to the book on the desk in front of her. "I have used many like it over the years. This is the latest in a long line.""I started using them when-" She stopped. Watch yourself, Kiarani.
IC: Lord Captain Velric ShrikeAfter several frustrating minutes of walking, back-tracking, and interrupting back-alley games of Kohlii, the crew eventually found their way to the Lavapool Inn.'Finally! My dear fellows, I do apologize for my incompetence in terms of navigating, ideally I should've got my navigator to do that,' he said, shooting a fearsome stare at Afro. 'Either way, we're here, we shall get some drinks.' He patted down his coat, as a look of horror formed on his once cunning face. 'By Artahka! I've got no widgets on me!' He turned towards the Inn. 'Alright, we'll do this the old-fashioned way,' he said, pulling out his pistol, the Vivacious Firefly Revolving Voltaic Energy-Projector.'The Pirate Way.' A high-pitched hum was heard as he cocked the the hammer mechanism.
IC: VerosTa-Koro...It's been a long time, hasn't it? I missed you. It's been so long since I've walked these streets, feeling the pulse of Mangai just under my feet, the heat of the lava warming me from every angle. It feels...nostalgic, to say the least.Hopefully I won't get covered in soot.I wandered across the village to the inn, taking a circuitous route to whet my nostalgic appetite. I arrived at the inn, tired, but fulfilled. A short stay here, then a trip to Ta-Kini to pay my respects. Then...I don't know where.
OOC: Atonal from Le-Wahi.IC: [Atonal]Atonal had arrived in Ta-Koro, and sat outside on a bench.OOC: Open for interaction.
OOC: Incommodo & Arkrak from Le-Wahi.IC: Incommodo"HEY YOU ARKRAK'S BROTHER WAIT UP WE'RE TRYING TO FOLLOW YOU!!!"
IC: [Atonal/Arkrak]Atonal sighed, and looked to the duo. "Hello there Arkrak, Arkrak's Best Friend. What do you two want now?""As much as it pains for me to say this," sighed Arkrak. "I need love advice.""... What."
IC: Incommodo"I'm called Incommodo." Incommodo pointed out. "Also, yeah, a girl asked him out, and gave him 48 hours to get an answer. He only has 32 left. I've been counting."
IC: [Atonal/Arkrak]"And you're asking me, for love advice," said Atonal slowly. "That's ... really .... I don't even know what to say now.""You were laying the moves on sister-in-law. You have to give me advice. Because I'm going to die.""... Fine. Let's take this conversation to a more private place first."
IC: IncommodoIncommodo stood there, unsure what to do, happy to follow Atonal to said private place.
IC: [Atonal/Arkrak]The three arrived in a nearby inn and sat down at the table."Alright then Arkrak," said Atonal. "Be natural. Don't do anything stupid. Go with the flow. And remember the two magic phrases.""Magic what?""You were right. I was wrong."
IC: Incommodo"I wish I'd had advice like that."
IC: [Atonal]"Good," said Atonal. "Now Arkrak, could you head out for a moment, let me talk to your friend."Arkrak nodded and left, allowing for Atonal to turn and address Incommodo."Take care of my brother could you?"
IC: Incommodo"Yes, sir." Incommodo saluted Atonal.
IC: [Atonal]"And don't let him go, because you won't have a chance to later," he smirked.
IC: Incommodo..."I don't get it."
IC: [Atonal]"You will."
IC: Incommodo.................."Nope, still not getting it."
IC: [Atonal]"Do I have to spell it out for you? You possibly harbour romantic interests in my younger brother."
IC: Incommodo"Dude. If I was interested... that way... in your brother, I'd shoot myself. No offence." He added the last part hastily. "We're friends. Just unusually close friends."
IC: VerosThe inn was quiet. Nice place to stay, Not too bad. I found myself a tablet and glanced around, throwing my hood back. I took out my knife, checking the edge. Still sharp. As I glanced around, I saw a pair of Toa talking to each other.I wonder if that reputation of mine precedes me? I shook off the thought. I'd hope not.
IC: [Atonal/Arkrak]Atonal smirked. "Whatever you say."Soon enough, Arkrak came in."So, what did I miss?"
IC: Incommodo"Your brother started talking about cheese, and I deadpanned." Incommodo lied. Well, the second part wasn't a lie, but the first bit was.
IC: [Arkrak]"Right, well, time to get back to Commodum before I die."
IC: Incommodo"TO COMMODUM!" Incommodo shouted, charging out of the door.OOC: Incommodo & Arkrak to Onu-Wahi.
IC: [Atonal]Atonal smiled as he watched them go."Well then," he said, his eyes flickering around the room. "Finished watching us yet?"
IC: VerosI was wondering if they'd notice. "Your friends seem quite excitable. If anything, worth watching. Funny, they remind me of how I used to be."
IC: [Atonal]"Yeah, my brother and his friend are like that."
IC: Veros"Seems like at least entertaining company." I leaned back. "So, what brings you to Ta-Koro?"
IC: [Atonal]"I've been travelling around," he replied.
