IC: Lord Captain Velric ShrikeHe flinched a little at the positioning of the bident. He holstered his weapon, and stepped backwards. 'I'd prefer to keep my kneecaps, thank you.' He took off his hat, noticing the heat. He looked back at his crew again, and frowned. 'Oh, for Mata Nui's sake, Banua, you're the one who offered to help us find a village, you knew full-well that we're pirates, how could you expect any less now?' His tone of voice betrayed his anger, and he had a right mind to start chopping heads.
IC:Ghui used his other hand to attach his slingshot to the first's wrist, prepareing for anything.
IC: Erif was aiming at Shrike's stomach.OOC: Here's how Erif works. He takes either one or two posts to fire. In this case he's using 2. If he fires in one it's poorly aimed (for him) and not very fast. If he isn't interrupted in two it takes Calix level agility or some other power (magnetism for example, or a Hau) to miss at this range.IC: Recra ran into the bar, sword and shield in hand.IC: Amsa opted to wait until Recra had gotten out of the way to charge.
IC: Lord Captain Velric ShrikeWith a booming voice, he addressed those holding weapons at various points of his body.'I have holstered my weapon, darn it! I strongly suggest you do the same, or so help me Mata Nui, I will kill each and every being within this building!' He turned once again to his crew. 'I can find a new crew. And if you don't back me up, I will. Mark my words.'
IC (Banua): "Here's the thing, Captain" Banua snapped back. "You hired me to show you how things worked around here and keep you from doing anything stupid. So far, all you've done is ignore my advice and wave your gun in people's faces. You asked me to tell you what would happen when you got to the village, and I told you the guard wouldn't like you and exactly what would happen if you did start behaving like that. I told you to keep it suble and you said:IC: Lord Captain Velric ShrikeHe flinched a little at the positioning of the bident. He holstered his weapon, and stepped backwards. Explain again how this is my fault?"IC (Pehu and Ruaho): Even though the Vortixx had lowered his gun, Pehu didn't move his bident. For all he knew, the pirate was about to pull it out again and use it on his own adviser.Even with the gun out of his face, Ruaho didn't move from behind Ghui's shield. "That was a confession of piracy, right?" he whispered to the other Matoran. "We can lock him up for that?"'Understood, we won't be causing too much trouble.'
IC:"I'm pretty sure, yeah," Ghui whispered back. Then he used a commanding voice towards the pirate and ordered:"That would be what we call an act of terror, and we arrest people like that. So I strongly suggest you come with us without a fight or we will have to make hostile actions in our arrest"
IC: Lord Captain Velric ShrikeHe was about to say something, but failed to find the words. Instead, he put his hat back on. 'Screw it. We won't trouble you anymore, gentlemen. We're finding a village with a proper dock. Maybe they'll at least have some like-minded folk.' He exited the Inn, his crew following behind.Soon enough, they were back upon the decks of the Kavinika. Shrike dusted off his coat, looking very irritated. 'Banua, whilst I do apologise for my behavior in the Lavapool Inn, you must remember that I am capable of separating your head from your shoulders at any given moment should you outlive your usefulness, question my actions, or simply annoy me sufficiently. We are pirates, it is in our nature to steal and kill. So DON'T expect me to go around, mingling with the common folk like a bloody mindless sheep!' He pointed downwards. 'Now, make yourself useful and help Erebus in the Boiler Room. He deserves a lightened workload.'
IC:Ghui shrugged as the pirate left ta-koro. "Well, I guess if he stops making so much trouble, It's ok he leaves... If he ever comes again, We'll teach him a lesson"
IC LondarLondarr was bored. He went back to his shop
IC: [Atonal]Atonal followed.
IC: VerosI walked with Atonal through the village, heading towards Ta-Kini. The first steps on my journey as a Toa were taken there. And now I return, someone very different than that idealist.I glanced at Atonal. We're not so different, you and I.The pulse of Mangai increased as we walked closer and closer to Ta-Kini. Would it be too much to ask...I shouldn't.
IC: Atonal "It's been a while since I've spent some time in Ta-Koro."
IC: Veros"When was the last time you were here?"
IC: Atonal "Several months back."
IC: Veros"I see...what were you doing when you were here? More research?"
IC: [Atonal]"Yeah ..."
IC: Veros"Mmm." We continued onwards until finally arriving at Ta-Kini. Finally.
IC: [Atonal]"I suppose I should pay my respects to Toa Tahu," said Atonal, looking around.
IC: Veros"As should I. I've come a long way." I looked up at the temple. How long has it been since I came to this temple? I remember when I first came here, set off on my journey. So much has changed, Toa Tahu.
IC: [Atonal]Atonal silently paid his respects.
IC: VerosI knelt down to pay my respects. The Toa may be gone, but we still remain. I don't know what will happen, but I know that I will return here once more. I glanced at Atonal. "To Kini-Nui?"
IC: [Atonal]"A good idea."
IC: Veros"Agreed."OOC: Veros to Kini-Nui.
IC: [Atonal]Atonal nodded and followed.OOC: Atonal to Kini-Nui.
IC-Erebus:"That was fun to watch."
IC: Toa KakopaIn the shadows of the Vulcano, at the shores of lake Pala a lone figure awoke. His head was empty, onely one sentence over and over again: FIND EREBUS,But first he needed a weapon, "where could I find that?" he thougth.OOC:Can Someone meet me and tell me where i could find building supplies, and weaponsIC: Toa KakopaIn frustration he froze lake Pala en sent a fireball in the air
IC:"... Well, I guess that's over with," Ghui remarked, turning back to his drink. On the other side of the koro, Drugarn was in the back room of his shop. He was doing experiments on his waxed cabolo theory. Up at the front of the Candle store, his assistant was at the desk, twiddling her thumbs.
IC: Erif nodded and slung his bow across his back, turning back to his drink. "Never get a break."IC: Recra walked to the bar, ordering a massive amount of alcohol.IC: Amsa came in quietly, her pretty features (for a Matoran) happy.
IC:Ghui drank his bula juice. "So...what should we do next?" he asked.
IC: "I dunno. I don't do much apart from work." Erif shrugged.IC: Amsa grinned. "We can't leave. Recra hasn't drunk a keg yet."IC: Recra grinned, took a massive swig, and clapped Amsa on the back.
IC:Ghui rolled his eyes at Recra's achohol enthuisasm. "Ditto," he replied to Erif.
IC: Erif shrugged. "Amsa, just keep him from drinking enough to pass out."IC: Recra laughed a boisterous laugh. "You guys need to get out once in a while."IC: Amsa grinned. "Will do Erif. Bartender, forget the last 5 gallons."IC: Recra looked petrified. He soon broke into a grin.
IC:Ghui chuckled at the humor of his comrades. "So, what's your opinion on the turaga's leave?" Ghui asked Erif.
IC: "Bad. Don't get me wrong, Jaller is a great leader, but he isn't... As good with people as Vakama is. You want Jaller to lead during combat, Vakama during peacetime." Erif grimaced.IC: Amsa and Recra were listening to their comrade's discussion, Recra continuing to drink.
IC: Tuara - Ta-Koro - Deputy's OfficeTuara looked up, "I'm not as optimistic as I used be Angelus," she stopped, placing the files back on the table, she turned to him again, placing her face in her hands.'What's your plan?''I don't have a plan.''You always have a plan.''My "plan" is to enjoy the fact that I have my body back, and Angelus is still alive.''And it doesn't bother you? Dalia and him?''Don't ask me about that right now Dren, I was gone. Angelus had every right-''To give up on you?''Angelus didn't give up on me. Dalia needed to feed her Mark. And it was either Angelus, or some unsuspecting Toa she never knew. Angelus did the right thing.''Yet it still bothers you.''We'll discuss this later. Just let me enjoy myself with the only person I have left alive in this world,' suddenly realizing the implications of what she said, Tuara corrected herself, 'I'm sorry, I didn't mean-''No, it's fine. I was out of line,' silence, 'You still outrank me.'"I'm sorry. That's not fair of me," she stood up, walking over to Angelus at the door taking his hands in her own, examining them, "We're both alive for one thing," she released his hands before opening the door, "I suppose we should find a place to stay. I'd offer my office, but there's only one chair in here, and I doubt either of us want to sleep on a hard surface right now."IC: Angelus (Deputy's Office, Ta-Koro)"Well, if you look at it like that, then he definitely won't die at all."-Teezy
IC: Toa KokapaHe was annoyed, there was no-one to be seen,"I will never find supplies" he tought. He started climbing the vulcano in front of him, to get a better view. There he stood watching over the southern part of Mata Nui,Then suddenly he saw a city floating in the lava,He started walking towards it hoping that there would be some guys who would help him. While he was walking he burned down any tree he could see.
IC (Pehu and Ruaho): "We're off to take a shift on the gate" Rauho said to exuse the pair. "We'll see you in a few hours". They quickly exited the bar and went to relieve Riro and Mundryx.IC (Banua): Banua had to admit that the pirate had a point. When he had agreed to help the crew, he knew they wouldn't all be civil and generous to the natives. They were like the people he had spent years protecting Onu-koro from, but he had given up on that now, hadn't he? He tried to tell himself he had, but he still didn't like what the captain was telling him."I don't expect you to be nice" he assured him, "but that was just stupidity. I told you Ta-koro was a bad place to target and how strict thier guard was, and to be honest I'm surprised they let you walk out like that. If you have to go plundering, can't you be a little clever about it? Pick a place you can manage and don't be so obvious about it that you attract every law-enforcement officer within a kio." He stalked out to find Erebus and the coal, before poking his mask back around the door. "And about killing me?" he added "Don't even try it. I'd sink this boat of yours before you'd even get close" He slammed to door after himself.
IC: Lord Captain Velric ShrikeHe glared at the door before yelling to Aphrodisia up in the rigging. 'Afro! Get down here, you've got the helm!' He flicked the chadburn to "FULL AHEAD", and pointed to the horizon. 'Sail us north along the coastline. I have a hunch.' With that, he ran off below-deck and into his cabin.Picking up a book on the desk and blowing dust of the cover, he ran his fingers down the spine of the journal, which looked as if it hadn't been touched in months. Opening it to the first blank page (which was also the first page in general), he picked up a quill, and began writing.Captain's Journal - Entry OneI woke up upon the upper deck of the Kavinika, unaware of my surrounding, and indeed, my past life. Surprisingly, I managed to remember my crew's names, Afro and Erebus. An island was seen on the horizon, which we made haste for. Upon making landfall, a native emerged from the jungle, introducing himself as Banua. He agreed to guide us to a nearby village, Ta-Wahi. We made for a nearby inn, for some drinks. On discovering that none of us were in possession of the local currency, widgets (funny that), I attempted a spot of piracy. It seems that my gun has the properties of a magnet, as every guardsman within ten kio had some for of weaponry pointed at me. I realized that I was outnumbered, and humbly stood down, leading my crew back to the Kavinika.Banua is certainly a glutton for punishment, but after a few weeks on my ship, he will become a valuable crew member. With Kindest Regards,Lord Captain Velric Shrike
IC: Toa KakopaFinally he arrived at the village floating in lava (Ta-koro).But to his dissapointement he saw that the bridge across the lava was down.He shouted and shouted hoping that someone would react.
IC:"My thoughts exactly," Ghui said, nodding. Back at the gate, Kladdul was relieved to see Pehu and Ruaho come to guard their shift. When his comrades arrived, he went into the fortress to eat lunch.IC: "Bad.
