IC: Nanashi"In that case.." Nanashi stopped next to Frii'Glok."Cover me with that cannon of yours." Nanashi dashed a little of to the left, and then zoomed towards Pae.OOC: Frii' Glok has been asked to cover Nanashi's charge
IC:"Okay," Frii'Glokk said before his comrade charged, and took careful aim on Pae from his prone position.
OOC:No problem, although I should warn you that I'll won't be online till around noon tomorrow. Sorry.
IC:Ankt
Ankt glanced at Argentum. "Oi, this is my fight. Go find someone else to fight 'ya daft fool!" The Toa rolled backwards while his enemy was distracted with Argentum, and put himself back in his normal fighting position, his right hand holding the spear, the other resting near his hip, on the sheath of the spear.
IC: IraThe old geezer was approaching, but Ira gave him no mind. He simply concentrated his powers more, and more, until he felt the flames growing. He took a peek at the bottle nearest to his location, near the northwest section of the wall. Sure enough,. it was aflame. He relaxed his control and found that all seven fires were ablaze. Roaring in triumph, he gripped the blaze and sent it travelling along the wall. Climbing to the top of a building, he burst his body into flames with his Volitak still active, making him appear as a fiery ghost. The building he was standing on caught on fire and Ira jumped down from the crumbling roof. Walking in a straight line, he deactivated the flames on his body and his volitak, making his presence known to everyone. Drunk with pyromania, he had forgotten all reasoning, all logic, all loyalty; no, he was here to watch the world burn. Laughing wildly, twin jets of flames erupted from his arms, one headed for the bar, the other headed straight for the battle at the gate with the intention of burning every inkling of resistance down. A small inkling of loyalty remained; he used it to prevent the flames from consuming his "allies" and specifically target the ILF members, but hey, no promises.IC: SoniusSeeing that for some odd reason his arrow didn't hit, he activated his SANOK once more, drew his bowstring, aimed this time at Echelon's head, and firedIC: LeldaLelda had found a target of her own. She took aim at Karemo and firedIC: JomarJomar rushed the attackersOOC: Open for interaction. Somebody take him down!IC: Ackune
OOC: That's alright Bio. I know that feel. :PJL, I'm going to ignore Argentum's magnetic blast, as he, too, is outside the village. He cannot control any elemental energy whatsoever at the place where he is located. IC, Zenix: Zenix prepared himself for attack. "Why do you resist?" he asked Ankt. "Everything turns to darkness eventually. Drop your weapon and join us. You will be saved from the fate that awaits you."
IC: AckuneHowever, Ira's jets of flame were met with two others, and the four fiery columns canceled eachother out. Meanwhile, the the source of the second jets of flame was absobing the flames chreated from the madu oils into himself, recharging his elemental energy."Son, I wouldn't do that," Ackune warned, standing behind Ira, warhammer and shield at the ready. While the other Toa of Fire was burning elemental energy, Ackune was taking his power from the heat created by Ira. And having spent most of his time controling heat in his forges, Ackune was more Toa of Heat then Fire. "And I'm not going to tell you again..."
OOC: The flames wouldn't cancel each other out; they would just merge and turn a little problem into a big one.IC: IraIra abruptly stopped. The old geezer had found him again! Absorbing his flames and folding his arms behind his back, he calmly said "I'm not going to stop until you stop too. The dark is rising. Join it or be consumed by it. Makuta will reward those who follow him, and those who resist..." A small flame sparked in his hand. "They will burn." A sick grin decorated his face. Not that Ackune could see it anyways; all he saw was mesh. "But if you are commited to this foolish course," he continued while unfolding his giant tonfa like blades from his back. "Then you will pay the price." He shifted into an Aegis duelling stance and waited for Ackune to make the first move.
OOC: Ever read Bionicle: Adventure books? Vakama shot a fire ball and an oncoming one, and they canceled out. Using that as a guide for attacks.IC: Ackune"Funny," the old Toa of Fire said, raising an eyebrow, "That's what the other one said, before I stabbed him with his own sword. It was a nice sword, though."Taking a step forward, Ackune raised his iron shield, and waited. Already, a plan was beginning to form in his head, a habit that had started a long time ago. There was no way he was going to make the first move, as Ira would see.
OOC: In real life that doesn't happen. Fire plus fire = more fireALso, ever played Infinity Blade 2? Have you fought the Archivist? This is what it should look like.IC: IraIra gave no indication of moving either. He knew to well what happend to people who made the first move. The Aegis instructor had tol him to wait for the enemy to slash first, parry his strike until a break is formed, perform a three hit combo, and then slash away with both weapons.
OOC: ... This is Bionicle. Real life physics don't really apply for situations like that. And I'd rather used established canon...IC: Ackune"Ah, I suppose we have a reached an unpassable part of this," the old Toa of Fire said, amused, once Ira refused to attack as well, "How's this then, you just go 'head and put down your weapons, while I take you as a prisoner?"
IC: Ira"Actually, let's reverse the roles. You do that."
OOC: Lol. :3IC: Ackune"Hmm... Nah, I rather like my sanity intact," the Toa of Fire replied, shrugging. Then, without warning, Ackune suddenly rushed at the other Toa of Fire, raising his warhammer into the air. Each step was calculated, each dip and bump on the ground was taken note of and "seen" with his Arthron. While using his mask and mind together, it was almost impossible for the blind Toa to miss-step. His use of his mask was mastered from the fact that it was his only way to "see" the world. Upon reaching Ira, Ackune brought the warhammer down with a strength granted to him from years of working in the forges, while keeping his shield raised to block any counter-attack.
IC: IraLesson two of Aegis training: When the titan swings at you and you're not able to block it, dodge. For vertical strikes, it doesn't matter which way you dodge as long as you dodge fast enough. That's what Ira did. The moment Ackune began the downswing, with perfect calculation Ira sidestepped out of the way. He suspected that this wasn't the final blow and that more were coming. Grabbing his blades by the sword handles, he decided to follow up with a counterattack. In the seconds between the impact of the hammer on the ground and Ackune raising it back up, Ira counterattacked. Seeing his targets like little blue circles, he lunged at Ackune's exposed side, his mind's finger "tapping" the circles one by one at lightning speed.
IC: AckuneIra's attack was great, well planned out and exicuted, but Ackune was already moving the moment the other Toa of Fire had dodged. He "saw" Ira's swords flying towards him at incredible speeds, and they would've easily impacted their targets. Unfortunaly they didn't.Ackune had spun around the moment Ira had dodged to the side, while his hammer was still in the ground, he used it as a pivot point on his backwards spin. Ira's swords struck Ackune's iron shield as the blind Ta-Toa had brought it around. Close behind was his wahammer coming in a horizontal swing across, Ackune using the momentum of his already moving body to greatly enhance the already powerful strike. As both the block and the attack came right after eachother, it would be extremely difficult to react in time.
IC: IraThe thing that's bad about dual weaponry: you can't block effectively. Sure you can duck, but it's not really the same. That's what Ira found out when he ducked. Attempting to lift up one of his swords to parry the strike, it simply flew out of his hands. The hammer did connect, but it only grazed the top of his helmet. Still, that was enough to send him flying. Fortunately, he was able to use one arm to push himself off the ground, go into a gymnastics like manoeuvre mid-air, and land on his feet., right next to his sword. Picking it up, he slammed the blades together to make a shield and drew a third sword from his back. Forged in honour of the sword Tahu once wielded, it seemed to be a flame of it's own, alive and burning. He resumed the Aegis and on the outside it looked like he was unstoppable. However, in reality, his head was still spinning...IC: SkaaraaThe toa of gravity gave up on the illusion and charged the gates, attempting to get inside the village. His plan was to sue his gravity powers to catapult himself into the centre and once inside, stay in the air and unleash "Gravageddon" on the ILF.
OOC:
After a rapid recovery, Verak lazily batted away Aexia's blow, and sauntered backwards a little bit. She was sort of fast, but not that great of a fighter, he decided. Probably more stealthy than anything else. Then why did she attack him in the first place? Someone else she was trying to cover? If so, she needn't worry. Verak had little interest in actually helping a cause. He was here for the thrills, the fun. He pushed hte thought aside and focused one her movements."So, sister." he said, twirling his one unsheathed blade. "What's a pretty girl like you doin' workin' for the scum that's attackin' the village?"
IC: An adventurer flirting with her in a fight. Just like the good old days when the work was light and the opponents were cool dudes. The last one who'd come close to flirting with her had been that one who cooked the stew...What was his name? Angelis? Whatever. Not important. She dismissed the dumb smile tugging at the corners of her mouth and laughed."Vhat do you zink?," Aexias replied. "Ze only job I can fint on zis forzaken rock. Zkakdi are not acceptet in anyzing elz." Her demeanor and level of skill may have been a facade, but the bitterness putting an edge on her words was nothing but her own feeling. No one trusted skakdi but themselves. Even the spined sapients' employers were known to preemptively build backup measures against betrayal by their own mercs. Aexias was just another scheming brute in the eyes of the island, perfectly expendable. And she knew it.She lowered her swords slightly and tentatively skittered a pace towards the Po-Toa. With the conversation, she'd 'lower her guard' a little--understandably so, given its human element. Best play into her role of the newbie. Gradually she'd close in. Then, in the chatter, she'd shoot him a sword or maybe a laser. "Zo. How'd you come to fight for zis 'Island Liberazhun'?"Looks like she knows my name. Don't have questions. I'll do work and let everyone else talk. The camp's set up. Recon's done. Foraging's done. Food's done. Fire's done. That leaves cleanup. The pot and cups need to get cleaned out. I'll do that.I take them out of the heat first. Next, I search for what stuff I need for this that I don't already have in reach. I get some water and put it on the fire, then rip off a bit of my left sleeve for a rag-both sleeves are so tattered they can't do much on my arms anymore. And I soak the rag in the boiling water and daub it in honey and peppermint juice for cleaning. All set. I start scrubbing.Leah, not the least bit tired from the walk through the jungle, but feeling exhausted from the overall events of the day, nodded pleasantly at each of the other members of Stannis' companions, who were looking at her, now that they were all assembled in one spot and obviously curious about the new addition to the team."It is an honor to join you on such an important quest, friends. I am Leah, first tamer staff sergeant in the Gukko force. I am sure you have quite a few questions for me...so ask, I will try to answer them as best as I can."
IC- Verak - Clearing Outside Pala-Koro"Me?" he laughed a bit and his smile grew. "I don't fight for anyone at all. I don't let people own me. If I get hired fer a job, It's because I want the money, and if things go bad, I bail. I live my life, and leave dozens of enemies in my wake. And look a me!" He said, giving the impression of dropping his guard. The pretty white Skakdi was closer, and he moved even closer to her and her clumsy position. He'd make a quick counter-attack when she struck. He remained ready, his mask very active."I'm still alive, sister." he finished with a cocky flick of his head. "I'm attackin' the Makuta followers 'cause it's fun, not because I have ta."
IC: Confusion lit up Aexias' face. Her slash to the toa's chest was half-hearted, giving the appearance of a fight without actually partaking much in it. After all, appearances were always important."You fight for fun and don't lif under soziety? Isn't zat detrimental to your healz?"
IC- Verak - Clearing Outside Pala Koro"Spot on, sister. It's called livin', not the garbage most people do instead." He raised his sword and stepped to the right of the incoming weapon, pushing it away from his body with his own blade. Without a split second of a pause, he spun around and drove his weapon towards Aexias' unprotected side.
IC: Kiron- Fri'Glokk, Pae BattleKiron watched as the Skakdi took aim and the Toa(Nanashi) charged. Kiron increased the temperature around Pae, heating the ground around him, producing a mirage "screen" around Pae, to making w unable to accuretely see Nanashi's charge.
Ic: In the midst of the fighting that occurred rather sporadically about the Village of Pala-Koro were the workers, awakened from their slumbers by the cries and sounds of battle. Most of the matoran panicked and ran amok like beheaded chickens, mostly incapable of joining in the fighting. The Skakdi, hardened and gruff people with a taste for blood, picked up whatever cudgels and spikes they could find and quickly scrambled looking for targets, but they were few in number. The Vortixx cowered in their corners, too grasped by cowardice to do anything else. But in the midst of fifty dismayed workers running about, there was the one man who walked calmly and coolly with purpose, though still hastened as if pulled by some unseen magnet to accomplish something. It was the old man who read, ignored since his arrival until now.In his hands were a set of keys and a few vials of green fluid, poison. He stormed by the previous foreman, who stood with an ashen face as he saw his handiwork fall apart by terrorists from the jungle. The man did not even regard the worker with a smile and instead nailed his chest with a stiletto. The foreman crumbled down slowly as death overtook him, still aghast at the battle. It was clear by that point that the old man was walking towards the only structure that could possibly be of any importance in the village: Madrihk's house. His intentions, however, remained entirely enveloped in smoke.****From the jungle, another evil figure emerged, this one not affiliated with the Makuta or his minions. Hiemalis had arrived and brought winter with him. The dark figure drew his icicle sword from it's scabbard and hefted the thin, blue blade by his body as he watched the fight over Pala-Koro.But he did not charge. Then was not the time. Soon, however...
IC: [Kethrye/Feongulf/Voriki] ~- - - -Huh, Kanohi Mahiki, Kethrye assumed as the Toa of Iron dodged his axe blow and split into to duplicates of himself, attempting to disappear within the chaos of battle. Smart. But it's going to take more than that. With barely a second thought he raising his hands and aligning them with the illusion and the not-illusion, whichever one was which. He called on his elements energy and focusing it onto twin beams of energy he sending flying from his palm towards the retreading shapes.Who the Karzahni are these people? he thought, taking a expeditious glance at the battle raging around him. I mean, they're certainly not just looking for a pleasant cup of tea and some conversation, are they? The Toa of Ice's gaze fell again upon the Vortixx assassin he had face in Ko-Koro. Well, considering the company they keep, I suppose "bad people" works. He stroke towards the gate and focused, materializing a series of boulder-sized spikes of ice within the gap; Aiming to , at least temporarily, seal the entrance from the rest of the invaders. Whoever they were, Kethrye would make sure that they had bitten off more then they could chew.- - - -The escalating brawl at the the village's gates gave Feongulf a change to slink off to the south to find an alternate path of attack, at least. Charging in and bashing everything in sight might make a nice show, but consider the enemies numbers it alone wouldn't assure success. No, I have another idea. The Parakuka latched to her armor hissed, and the Fe-Matoran's body shock as the transformation began. Feongulf would taste the bloodlust raging in her subconscious, her rational mind barely keeping it in check.Hisssssssss. . .Feongulf took one deep breath from a beast-like mouth and pushed hard against the ground beneath her feat. She sailed thought the air and came to rest, on the parapets of Pala-Koro's wall, crouched. With the silence of a mouse Feongulf scrambled down the uneven inner side of the wall into the village itself. She was in.- - - -Voriki awoke to the sound of fire, and blood. What, he thought, barely able to formulate even that in his grogginess. Wha-What's happening out there?Whatever it was, the ones behind it were going to pay, he decided, reaching for his trident. No one disturbs my slumber unscathed. The madman grinned, and took step out the door of his mud dwelling, ready for what would come.- - - -[snip]
OOC: Argentum is inside the village - He can create the magnetism and the direction it moves, but the moment it gets out of the village, he can't. So the magnetism might spread out and weaken, but it'll still be there.IC: ArgentumArgentum looked at Ankt, who seemed to not appreciate his help. He sent another, more focused magnetic wave at the FoM outside....And turned to hear the sounds of flame coming from Ira, who seemed to have gone berserk.OOC: That's alright Bio. I know that feel. :PJL, I'm going to ignore Argentum's magnetic blast, as he, too, is outside the village. He cannot control any elemental energy whatsoever at the place where he is located. Argentum flanked the Toa of Fire, coming from behind. All of his 10 blades unsheathed themselves from his armor, and he closed his eyes, magnetism working to make the blades levitate and fly towards Ira. The swirl of the blades flying around him would be dizzying for a normal person to focus, and then came the strikes - 4 blades aimed to cut and cripple Ira's legs, 2 flew as a decoy to the shield, 1 blocked the third sword from moving, 1 came to impale Ira's torso, and the final blade came flying towards Ira's neck and the bottom of his mask, trying to knock it off. All of this happened simultaneously and silently, and Ira's concentration, if he had any, was probably focused on Ackune.Argentum looked towards the blind Toa of Fire. "Make sure the fire doesn't spread!" He shouted.IC: IraThe thing that's bad about dual weaponry: you can't block effectively. Sure you can duck, but it's not really the same. IC: Nanashi"In that case.." Nanashi stopped next to Frii'Glok."Cover me with that cannon of yours." Nanashi dashed a little of to the left, and then zoomed towards Pae.OOC: Frii' Glok has been asked to cover Nanashi's charge
OOC:A mirage requires sunlight in order to exist, and since it's night-time there wouldn't be any.IC: Pae - Le-Wahi - Pala-KoroPae watched the Toa running towards him. Pae ducked down, and leaped forwards, Kakama active. His momentum and the momentum of Nanashi, had set them both for a collision course, with Pae's feet to Nanashi's chest. He kicked, hoping to clothesline his new opponent.IC:"Okay," Frii'Glokk said before his comrade charged, and took careful aim on Pae from his prone position.
OOC: Because he was holding the wind shuriken in front of himself, and thus grinding anything in his path. Not all. PM me about it.IC: Optimus rushed in, formed a fire shuriken and slammed it into the hard net. Its heat weakened the metal and ground against it, as he held it off with his very solid sword just in case. As he was in the center of the net, he could hold it up himself until he broke the center. He was halfway to the feat, and after that the tensile strength of the net would falter due to a gaping hole in it.Ratchet refocused his gravity powers on Aurum, sending him crashing down through the roof with enough force to bring him to his knees when he landed--painfully enough to break his concentration. He used his saw to cut at the net and push it up.Dino shot lightning through the gaps in the net at the entrance of the hut, which happened to be facing the Aukati. The lightning passed the entryway and headed right for Aurum.Dervian used his wind shuriken's last strength to keep the net from falling on them, and grinding it a bit. Due to having no heat to soften the metal, it was less effective than Optimus' shuriken, but it still worked well.Only Barricade had noticed the spikes as they formed, disturbances in the earth. "RAAAAAAAARGH!" He painfully focused all his energy in a quick burst to tighten the earth and prevent the spears from rising up high enough to be anything more than pinprick disturbances. Under the armor of their feet, that would hardly hurt.OOC: Wut? If you charge into metal spears, all you're gonna do is get impaled, not break them. And have you even heard all the best japanese OST's?IC: AurumGadunka-Aurum had been blown away by the time the Wind Shuriken was even close to him, and he changed back to normal - not quite, though, as his armor started to weight less and less. His Sword-Katar was still in his right hand, while his shield was still in his left. Thanks to Dervian, he landed on top of building. This time, he fired metal pieces at the Aukati again, this time as both a decoy and a.....placeholder, as each of the pieces merged to form a powerful, metal net that flew right over the Aukati, heavy anchors on the sides to stab into the ground. Aurum closed his eyes, and focused on each strand to make sure they would be truly, twisted, and hard enough to not get easily cut.Aurum expected the Aukati to start hacking and slashing. But the net had been a decoy, and quickly, spears of metal emerged from underneath the Aukati, while the net hindered their movement.
IC-Raxa:"Yes, we'll be meeting back here," Raxa replied, glancing out the window for a moment, before quickly returning his attention."I recommend you head off quickly, though, and tell him something about my dying along the way-say I bit off more than I could chew, or something like that. Something to make him think I'm dead, and that you're still completely trustworthy."
OOC: Not sure if you can retcon these, but in an earlier post Aurum has already leapt off into a place with no view on him, and sent an illusion running towards Mevi - Which the Aukati would probably see this.IC: AurumAurum's illusion had been created to simply draw Mevi away. If the Aukati's attention was caught, all the better. He could see that his metal was slowed down in their rising up. He still hadn't really tried in this fight yet, but knew that if he did, all the Aukati would be dead. Because Aurum's illusion was the one in the open, Aurum himself used a tiny metal mirror in the ground to see the Aukati. He knew their powers - Fire, Air, Gravity, Earth. Aurum's metal net was used as the basis for his next attack, as the heated metal was transformed into a multitude of metal spikes. He also created illusions of more metal spikes, each of them literally forming on the Aukati. Overall, what looked like 40 metal spikes, all sharp enough to penetrate right through the armor of a Toa, were formed inches away from, if not on, the Aukati.Ratchet refocused his gravity powers on Aurum, sending him crashing down through the roof with enough force to bring him to his knees when he landed--painfully enough to break his concentration. He used his saw to cut at the net and push it up.Dino shot lightning through the gaps in the net at the entrance of the hut, which happened to be facing the Aukati. The lightning passed the entryway and headed right for Aurum.
IC (Karemo): As Karemo scrambled further towards the edge of the fight, the toa who had attacked him with the axe fired beams of energy at both of him. Judging by the toa's colouring, he guessed it was a toa of ice. When he looked again, he was sure - those were actual spikes of ice on his shoulders. Talk about a dead giveaway. While the prospect of having some cold to soothe his burns was immensely appealing, his rational mind knew that unless this toa was unbelievably stupid, the results of those beams were unlikely to be pleasant. Another problem was that the ILS were quickly blocking up the gate with their elements and stopping the Makuta's army from advancing quickly. He ducked and rolled under the ice beams while his illusory doppleganger did the same. The move brought both Karemos up against the village wall, though by now they were some distance away from the gate. Pressing his back up against the cold metal and started absorbing it as fast as he could. Doing so would both replentish his elemental energy and create a weak spot in the wall for the other Makuta Followers to break in through.
IC: AurumAurum felt a tinge of metal simply disappearing. He knew it was from another follower of Makuta, and it seemed the disturbance came from the wall. Seeing as he was getting tired as well, he ran over to the same spot Karemo was, except on the other side of the wall, and, ignoring the Aukati and leaving a illusion hologram for Mevi to fight, started to absorb metal from the wall as well, speeding up Karemo and his own process of opening a hole.
IC: [Ril]Behind Aurum and Karemo, Ril flashed into existence, having teleported the short distance with the use of his mask. A smirk, not unlike those possessed by a certain red Toa of Lightning named Elysi who was attempting to kill people in Ko-Wahi, appeared on his face."You know," he stated. "It is rather rude to leave in the middle of a battle."His expression seemed to take on an Iegasa-like feel."And destroying private property? Why I could get you two arrested for that."His eyes flashed."But I'm too lazy, so why don't you two just BURN?"Two balls of fire were soon shot at the duo.
IC: As Ratchet's attack had been retconned, he easily was able to use his full focus to reduce the spikes' gravity to zero. Illusionary spikes passed through them. The real ones floated. That combined with the false Aurum from before revealed Aurum's full mask power to all the Aukati. A crystal disk and bolt of plasma flew at Aurum from behind. No metal content, he would not be able to sense it, and due to the high concentration of fighters, not even those who fired it. Roadbuster silently cheered. The Wreckers had been sniping. Following up on that, Optimus fired from his blast rod. "Aukati, attack!" A superconcentrated beam of fire came flying at Aurum, along with a much less damaging than Roadbuster's (due to being made of bamboo rather than super damaging crystal) disk and twin lightning bolts.
IC (Karemo): "Oh, we're not leaving" Karemo assured Ril as he continued absorbing metal. "We're just coming in so that we can instruct you about how rude it is to put up a resistance to the Makuta, who rules this island. He demands respect, and if you won't give it in the proper way, we will have to teach you".The fireball aimed at him was met in mid air with a chunk of the wall that Karemo had removed. The metal heated up, but did not burn, so the fire sputtered and died. In the process though, the illusory duplicate of himself faded from existence so that he could focus better on his element. This toa looked like he knew where to aim anyway. In response, he began throwing more chunks of metal from the wall back at the toa of fire, absorbing them with his left hand pressed against the wall and shooting the metal from the toa tool in his right.
IC: [Ril]The air rippled as Ril flashed out of existence and reappearing on the wall above Karemo."I didn't sign up for Respecting Makuta 101 when choosing my electives, sorry," he snarked, several balls of fire beginning to swirl around him. "Now, I've forcibly signed you up for How To Get Absolutely Demolished By Aronis Ril DSc 101, so we're having our first lesson right now."He smirked."BOMBARDA"The balls of fire rapidly shot towards Karemo with intense force.
IC: AurumAurum had recovered well with his backs to the wall. Seeing the Aukati's attacks come to him, and Aronis Ril above him, he decided to flip the tables - Literally, as the metal he absorbed from the wall, which was now practically halfway 'gone', was formed into a flat thick piece of spinning metal, launched upwards. The crystal disk and bamboo disk were both bounced upwards, their momentum causing them to fly at high speeds towards Ril. A small metal ball was placed in front of the Plasma, dissipating most of it while the remaining joined the heated fire in superheating the thick metal piece, which, after having launched, was also electrified.A superheated and electrified piece of metal came flying towards Ril. Aurum didn't know what a superheated conductor that was electrified would do, but he was sure it was bad to touch it. He wondered if a clever person could explain.OOC: GH, if you could explain what would happen when a superheated conductor (Heated by fire or just by heat) will do when electricity passes through it, that would be great. ![]()
IC (Karemo): Once again, Karemo used the iron he was absorbing from the wall to defend himself from the fires. This time, he created a large, round shield of metal to block the fireballs as they rained down around him. He wasn't sure he understood everything that his attacker was saying, but he was sure that the general intent was to insult both him and the Master of Shadows, and he wasn't having any of it.Now that Ril was on top of the wall, he stopped just throwing chunks of metal at him because it obviously wasn't working. He tried another approach to better take advantage of the environment. Manipulating what iron was left in the gap that he had Aurum had been creating, he had it flow up around the toa of fire's feet and encase them up to his ankles, to temporarily immobilise him. Then the iron slippers then jerked roughly forwards, taking Ril's feet with them. Hopefully, the sudden movement and inability to move his ankles would be enough to keep him too off-balance to avoid Aurum's attacks.
OOC: I can explain.Of course, I require knowledge of how hot the metal is and what type of metal it is, which requires me to ask Katuko and EW what they used for the wall.IC: [Vaisaga]Meanwhile ... somewhere else in Le-Wahi ...Vaisaga continued walking.
OOC: Back in the day across the pond it would be very rude to disrupt a duel like that. It's about honor. Capisce?IC: Ira (Inside Pala-Koro)Something slammed into him from behind. He turned around to find nine more blades headed straight for him. The time delay between turning around and putting his shield up was critical and he was unable to block the brunt of the force, getting knocked to the ground. As a reflexive measure, he started rapidly absorbing all of the heat in the area. IC: Skaaraa (Somewhere around Pala-Koro [i'm assuming inside])Skaaraa, seeing the situation at the wall, decided to do something about it. He fired a gravity disruption blast at the wall.IC: Argentum
IC: [Ril]"BREHRGIT."As Ril was thrown forward, there was nothing he could do but teleport himself straight into the ground, wincing as he connected with the dirt. Of course, the alternative was to die from possibly molten metal being thrown at him, and he really didn't want to die."I could totally get a secret weapon right now," muttered the Toa of Fire as he rolled around and onto his feet. "Or I could just use that incredibly stupid thing that my sibling invented."He slammed his hands into the earth. "Dahuoma."A giant horse of flames promptly burst out and charged towards Aurum and Karemo."Now I remember why it was considered stupid and ridiculous."
OOC: Lorax, I ask you to do the same with Karemo....IC: AurumAurum laughed. "Out of the way, Karemo!" He leapt to the side, letting the fire go past him, towards the already-big and almost-through-to-the-other-side hole in the wall they had made.OOC: @Constructman, I'm pretty sure I detailed that Argentum made each of the blades come from different directions to hit exactly what he wanted, so a 1-direction shield shouldn't have blocked any, especially since 1 of them was already used as a decoy...but I'll let it slide this time.IC: ArgentumTelekinesis reached out to grab the shield away - Since Ira had been knocked onto the ground, he probably wouldn't have had a grip....And then, Argentum sent his blades again, 2 of them flying from above to impale Ira's abdomen, 2 of them flying parallel to slash Ira's left and right hands, 4 flying towards his legs to injure Ira and prevent him from moving, and finally 2 of the blades flew to Ira's mask to, once again, flick it off.He turned towards Ackune. "Be ready to absorb any fire," He said, "Most people send silly last ditch efforts of their elements thinking that would do something."
OOC: IC: IraIra cried out as the blade slashed his body. Fortunately, the helmet that KuAnLo, Zenix, and all of the others had dismissed as silly saved his life, and his Kanohi. "YOU DISHONORABLE SIR!" he cried out loud enough for the entire village to hear. "WHAT BLOODY BUSINESS IS THIS OF YOURS?! DISRUPTING AN HONORABLE DUEL, THAT'S FOOLISHNESS. YOU DOG!" Then a strange look came across his face. "No.." he whispered. "ALL OF YOU ARE DOGS!" he shouted. "YOU BARK AND WHINE AGAINST YOUR MASTER THE MAKUTA. HE IS SIMPLY BIDING HIS TIME, BEFORE THE ROD COMES DOWN. AND WHEN THAT DAY COMES..." He increased the rate of absorption. By now, everybody within a 5 meter radius of him should feel freezing cold. "YOU SHALL PAY!" he roared. He fired a deadly blast of heat and fire, but not at Ackune or Argentum. This one was headed straight for the hole in the wall. Hopefully that would put an end to the defenders. IC: SkaaraaSkaaraa, seeing the beam of fire, saw the perfect opportunity to wreak havoc. "Ira!" he shouted even as he gravitationally yanked the toa of fire into the air. "Coordinate with me!"
