IC: Incommodo"Nah, they all ran off when... Oh." Realisation dawned on Incommodo.

IC: [Arkrak]Arkrak slowly turned to look at Chronn, his face paling as he realised the consequences."Incommodo," he said slowly, not looking at his colleague in case Chronn tried to decapitate him again. "Just so you know, it was my fault that we got so drunk and are now about to be killed."

IC: Incommodo"I agree." Incommodo said, not turning either.OOC: Couldn't help it.

IC: [Arkrak]"And also," he continued. "Do you have any tablets or paper? I need to update my last will and testament.""OOC: Arkrak and Incommodo together are rather comedic.

OOC: Yeah, they make a good team. :PIC: Incommodo"Nah. I used to have a piece of paper on me at all times, but a particularly nasty Skakdi ripped it when I put it on a stick and claimed it was a white flag." Incommodo said.

IC: [Arkrak]"That sucks," muttered the Toa of Sonics. "I really needed to update my will."

IC: Incommodo"And why's that?" Incommodo asked, curious.

IC: [Arkrak]"Well if I die I can't return all the food I raided from my neighbours' kitchens," said Arkrak. "And I've always wanted to have my body thrown off a cliff when I died."

IC: Incommodo"Well, I don't have a will." Incommodo said. "However, if I had one, I'd ask something be put on my gravestone along the lines of 'I'm finally where you told me to go. Are you happy now?'."OOC: A reference to the phrase 'Go to Karzahni'.

IC: [Arkrak]"That's interesting," Arkrak remarked. "I should have changed what I wanted to be done to me when I died. Thrown off a cliff before someone causes massive destruction to the area I land in."

IC: Incommodo"That reminds me of something. Y'know that feeling when one is standing on a cliff, and really wants to jump off?"

IC: [Arkrak]Arkrak nodded."Yeah, I gave in to that feeling back in Ko-Wahi. Broke all my limbs, and ended up rolling down Mt. Ihu."

IC: Incommodo"I don't get that feeling. I just end up petrified." Incommodo said.

IC: [Arkrak]"Really?" said Arkrak. "That's strange. Petrified as in unable to do anything, or frozen in fear?"

IC: Incommodo"As in, frozen in fear." Incommodo answered.

IC: [Arkrak]"I see."The Toa of Sonics paused for a moment, before realising something."Why exactly are we standing here talking about how we should die when we are about to be killed by our employer?"

OOC: Wait, thrown over a cliff? Bit Holmes-y?What were they called again... Something Falls...IC: Incommodo"Because our employer is about to kill us." Incommodo answered, as though it was the most obvious thing in the world.

OOC: Well Holmes got better. They retconned his death.IC: [Arkrak]"Good point," said Arkrak. "So, what other unimportant things are we going to talk about before Chronn kills us?"

OOC: That's only 'cause Sir Athur Conan Doyle was broke (out of money).IC: Incommodo"I don't know. Why do you think we're still alive?" Incommodo was confused by Chronn allowing them to continue the conversation thus far.

IC: [Arkrak]"I think it's because we're somewhat amusing," said Arkrak. "And maybe because we serve as the comic relief in the story of the universe."

OOC: You can say that again. :PIC: Incommodo"As far as I can tell, the Universe runs under a rule of irony. Chances are it's just waiting for us to become convinced we aren't going to die, before killing us." Incommodo was not unused to referring to the universe as a sentient being.

IC: [Arkrak]"Or maybe the universe is just making us feel as if we are not going to die, before making us feel that we are going to die, before not dying, and then dying in some strange manner."Arkrak paused for a moment."Mata Nui could be trolling us as well."OOC: Incredibly obvious joke above.

OOC: Not as bad as my joke about 'the face of Mata-Nui' earlier in the topic.IC: Incommodo"What if Mata-Nui IS the universe?"Incommodo did not actually believe this statement; He was just trying to stall the moment at which he would acknowledge his inevitable death for as long as possible.

IC: [Arkrak]Arkrak cocked his head to the side."But according to stories the Makuta caused him to fall asleep," he said. "How do you cause the entire UNIVERSE to fall asleep?"

IC: Incommodo"Just a theory..." Incommodo muttered under his breath.

IC: ChronnThe only thing that had been keeping him from chopping into Arkrak's skull while they had been talking, was the magnetic repelling force between the two.Problem for Incommodo was, Chronn had realized that he wasn't magnetically repelled from him.So the next thing he knew, a lightning bolt blade tipped staff was attempting to lodge itself in his cranium.

OOC: I'm assuming that's headed for Incommodo now, as he was the last mentioned.IC: IncommodoIncommodo teleported to right beside Chronn."Y'know, I'm pretty sure killing us isn't the best solution here."

OOC: Yes, I should have said that. XDIC: ChronnRight beside me was the worst place to teleport. Lightning shot out of my body, aimed right at him with extremely agonizing, potentially fatal voltage.Unless he moved quickly enough, Incommodo was going to be fried by the power of electricity."I will worry about what was the best solution when the two of you are dead!"

OOC: Question: Is Chronn actually going to kill them?IC: IncommodoIncommodo quickly teleported to in front of Chronn, but out of punching range."I don't think that's the best solution either."

OOC: No, but he'll keep trying until he's forced to stop.IC: ChronnOut of punching range, not out of range of my staff, which was once again on a collision course with his skull. He could dodge all he wanted, eventually I would get a blow in, and he would be smashed on the ground like a dead insect.

IC: IncommodoIncommodo teleported to behind Chronn, before teleporting in front of him again, this time out of reach of his staff."You think what we did'll get you a bad reputation? What about killing all your employees?"

IC: Chronn"You forget, the only ones who can see are my neighbors, and they already fear me."I tried to ram himself into Incommodo with a sudden leap, my electrical powers charging through my fist aimed at his stomach.

IC: IncommodoIncommodo teleported a short distance away, where there was a large rock, which he grabbed before teleporting back and away again, all in less than a second. Now Chronn was on a collision course with said rock.

IC: Jagorik:"Erken! Erken!" Jagorik yelled out, searching for the Skakdi.Where is that Brakas?

IC: ChronnTeleporting twice and grabbing a rock, would take more than a second. By the time he had teleported back, I was out of the way of the rock.This time, lightning was flying right at his face,OOC: Grabbing a rock large enough to harm Chronn would take more than a second at the least. Why not magnetize him to something?IC: NexHe turned to Zadron calmly."Yes, indeed. Excellent work, I must admit."

IC: Minho"We also accomplished our job although our target was some drunk who tried to kill us. Nothing special."

IC: Nex"I had almost forgotten, I have not yet commended you on your excellent work as of yet, that little distraction was rather irritating." He stopped, thinking for a moment, before a cold idea crossed his mind."It is earlier than I intended, but if it in agreeable to the four of you, I would recommend the death of the leader of that investigation agency."He decided to put it rather bluntly just in case."Would the four of you be up to killing Thedar Chronn? Or perhaps we should let him live, so that he might find some of the tablets..."OOC: And he will not be easy to I fully intend to have him fight back violently should any of you agree.to attempt his murder. Or they could use him for their own gain.

IC: Nex"Very well then, but I must inform you that those two bumbling detectives who cluelessly attacked us are his employees, judging by the way they spoke. The challenge will be killing him, without alerting them to the crime. Or killing them both as well, that would be up to you. And Zadron, with your assistance, this will be a rather interesting murder indeed.He folded his hands together calmly, reaching under his robe and pulling out throwing knives, then re-placing them. Then he pulled two gruesome looking blades from part of his foot armor, before re-placing them too."The agency is the hut with the sign saying 'Dark C Investigations' is the location. I think I will be joining you on this little execution myself."
