  • IC-Raxa:Slipping an arm around Sinina's waist and pulling her as close to him as he held Mirehu, Raxa grinned. Ah, the Le-Wahi nightlife. Not the normal nightlife, but the nightlife. And death. So many possibilities, so much tension."Well then," he said after a moment, starting to walk with the two girls in his arms towards Le-Koro, "We'll just have to get set in the hotel so we can check out that nightlife, eh?"

  • IC: MirehuDid he just... noooo...."Sounds good," the Toa of Crystal said, still taking in the sight. It was a village. In the trees. Le-Matoran are crazy. Checking out the nightlife in the Koro of Air sounded interesting to Mirehu, mostly because all she had been exposed to was Xa-Koro, and that wasn't always good.Besides, there must be plenty of widgets around... no one would miss a just a few... "And my armor, too, remember?" Mirehu added, not really wanting to look at her armor that had become even dirtier on the walk though the jungle.

  • IC-Raxa:"Yes, yes, I haven't forgotten," Raxa said, giving Mirehu a squeeze again, smiling at her. "First, we get the hotel. Then, we sleep, then we fix your armour, and then the nightlife. Because it's obvious that everybody in Le-Koro sleeps during the day." In what seemed like a moment, they were then at the elevator."And...up we go," he said, flipping the switch, sending the elevator seemingly floating up to the Koro proper.

  • IC: Mirehu The Toa was glad, as the thought of getting cleaned up really sounded good right about now.The Toa of Crystal didn't exactly know how sturdy an elevator made out of plants was, and she scooted closer to the center of the small room-like place where Raxa was. Mirehu wasn't about to trust her life to some crazy Le-Matoran engineers who build things in trees. No sir. Atleast I've got a Miru... she thought, the thought not really helping much.

  • IC-Raxa:Raxa rolled his eyes as the elevator went up, before it stopped. Not giving Mirehu a moment to admire the scenery or Sinina a second to continue plotting his death, Raxa grabbed the two, pulling them along to the Bright-Star Inn. He payed Unari for the two rooms adjacent to his on either side, before pulling both of them up, and showing them the rooms and keys."Now," he said, opening the door to his still-rented room, "We sleep. See you all in a couple hours!" That said, he quickly shut the door.

  • IC: NelanWell well well, I thought. If it isn't old Dekal. I went up to the bartender and cast some widgets on the bar. "Another drink for that guy." I said, my gruff voice only distinguishable to the bartender and any toa of sonics. I saw the bartender have a double take. Most people did when they saw my burnt armor due to my practice of putting out my lighter on it. She shrugged, evidently taking the smart path of not pushing me, and took a drink to Dekal. I followed, sitting down at the table. "Dekal. Long time no see."

  • IC: DekalThe Toa of Sonics raised an eyebrow at the sight of the black-armored Ve-Toa from behind his Faxon. "Hah, and don't you know it," the robed Toa replied, glad to run into an old friend here. Dekal grinned, the expression hidden behind his scarf as he raised his glass to the Toa. "Fancy meeting you here, Nelan, I'd have thought you'd run out of things to blow up," he said, properly greeting the Toa seateed infront of him.IC: MirehuThe Toa of Crystal didn't exactly want to stick around and chat with the other Toa, so she quickly made for her room next to Raxa's. Shutting the door, she immeadiately looked around for anything she could "barrow" on her way out. Bed, no; lamp, no; desk, can't lift up; nothing.Sighing, Mirehu started around the room. Perhaps there were some secret compartments behind the walls, like most of the inns in Xa-Koro had. Mirehu had learned long ago that stuff could be found if one spent enough time looking for it. A small tap on the wall with her hand told her if the space was solid or hollow. Maybe a bit closer to...

  • IC: NelanI grinned. "Nah. People are always building new stuff. And as long as people are building things, someone else will want them knocked down." I nodded to the bartender and flipped a widget at her, my Garai altering gravity so it flew perfectly into her hand. She brought me a drink, which I sipped. "So, any news? Last I heard you were helping the guard. Still are, by the looks of things." I said, commenting on the recent arrest.

  • IC: Pae - Le-Wahi - Outside Pala-KoroPae struggled through the trees past the clearing. He leaned against the tree, holding onto his chest, taking deep breaths. One of the cuts on his body was poisoned. He cursed under his breath, "Roke," trying clear his head and re-correct his increasingly dizzying vision. He shook his head before taking another step forward. He had to get away. Pae's vision suddenly started spinning, and he was on the ground in the dark. He had passed out.
OOC: I'm quoting for Kino here.IC: (Kino Iho)It descended into madness faster than Kino could have been prepared for. Out of the corner of her eye she had seen one of her men sulking away, Pae, the way he was walking the, his desperate attempts to get away. Something was wrong with him, but before she could reach him, he collapsed to the ground. Kino cursed, she doubted any plan can really hold together but it seems the group had scrapped hers for something a little more direct. She could respect that, the only issue was it seemed like it would be leading to higher casualities which would be fine if it was on the sides of this ILS...ILF, whatever. Now Kino was no medic...but she did know who had one and she grinned, of course getting it out of there would likely prove to be difficult. She hid Pae's unconscious body safely away from anyone. He wasn't in anyone's direct path and she had camouflaged him enough that no one could see."Be back...maybe I can get us a new asset." She whispered. Using the destroyed walls and the chaos in the village it was making it rather easy to get to someone she was looking for. The medic of the ILF. Only a few short feet away and she could grab that matoran and drag him out of this place. All she needed to do was to not get caught.OOC: Kino's going for your medic, my character Doc Verik. Might want to save your healer before somebody kidnaps him.IC: (Doc Verik)Mata Nui! MATA NUI! It sounded like the world was ending outside in the village. What could I do to help in the middle of a war zone? I was just some Le-matoran who was really good with plants and medicine in general. Now I'm not gonna lie, I'm a coward, a big one. The idea of fighting...it just doesn't appeal to me. The idea of getting hurt...ah! The sounds of blades striking blades, shouts and growls. The grunts of men and women fighting...it was too much! What was I thinking signing up with them? Out of some misguided sense of regaining honor. I'd rather be alive than honorable so I barricaded my door and window, hoping to Mata Nui this place wouldn't fall down with me inside or that some big Toa or whatever was out there wouldn't come breaking down my door and come for.KEerrak!I gulped watching the door flex...this could not be happening, this could not be happening. It continued however and I couldn't help but be terrified out of my mind. I had no idea what was on the other side, but they planned to get in, one way or another. I hope it was one of the ILF, surely they would understand my cowardice?

Iwasn'tdoinganythingiwasn'tdoinganythingignoremenothinggoingonhere. No, wait, scratch that, don't ignore me, but I wasn't doing anything.Mirehu didn't expect the sound to travel that well, but then again, she'd normally do this when the inn was empty. "I was just, um..."IC: Dekal"Yes, well, some theatrics here and there never hurt anyone," the Toa of Sonics said, shrugging. "Well, besides him, but he had it coming for him. You remember him, right, Tyras, liked to mess around with the Matoran when we'd get a job...?"Most Guard members felt uncomfortable talking about Dekal's past life around him, but the robed Toa didn't mind. Besides, those skills he learned there could definately help now, especially with his new assignment.

  • IC-Raxa:"You were tapping about the walls, testing the acoustics of your room in relationship to the other rooms, in order to make sure nobody would hear you if you took something?" Raxa said, a guess that he based off of his own previous experience in these rooms. He heard footsteps as Mirehu attempted to back away from the wall, muttering something, and smiled."I hope you don't mind if I say that won't work," he said after a moment. "Though you could come over here and we could have a conversation instead, because talking through the wall gets annoying."

Karz, never gonna get to steal anything now. This thought greatly saddened her, but if Raxa wanted to talk to her, that was okay. "Oh, right, sorry," the Toa of Crystal said, moving towards her room's door. Oh course, she picked up her bag of widgets along the way. No point in leacing stolen property lying around, as then someone mught steal the stolen property.

  • IC: NelanThat guy. "Yes, I do. Surprised I didn't recognize him at first." I looked over toward the bartender. She (and the other patrons) were relaxing a bit now that they were confident a massacre wasn't going to happen on my part, and a bunch of arrests on Dekal's. Not that I would, but between the cablecar down in an explosion and my burnt armor, they might think that. She was actually quite pretty when she wasn't terrified, and I flashed a quick smile and a wink.

  • IC-Raxa:And in a moment Raxa was at his door, holding it open for the girl he'd just brought to the larger world to come in, before he quickly shut it, the door locking on its own. As well, he noted the widgets. She seemed almost afraid to let go of them.Another moment and he was back on the side of his bed, patting a spot beside him for Mirehu to sit. Once she had done so, and he'd poured a couple glasses of water, he turned back to you."So, for your first foray out past the Islets," he began, to start the conversation, "With what you've seen at the moment, do you like it?"

There isn't that much to see in the Islets, besides jungle and mutated Rahi. But here, like, a whole village in the trees. That's really neat."Mirehu thought for a moment, before adding, "Even the jungle was kinda neat, not all twisted and stuff like back in Kumu." She wasn't exactly thirsty, and so she just held the water.IC: DekalSomethings just don't change, do they? the Toa of Sonics thought, observing Nelan's wink with a shake of his head. "Well, I can't say you've changed much," Dekal said to the Ve-Toa, glancing around at the beings in the room for a second. Looking for weapons, well, old habits die hard.

"And yeah, Kumu's jungle has always been a little odd...not to mention the Rahi that live there, I might add," he said after a moment. "They're never fun to deal with." He shrugged slightly."Oh, while the argument could be made that I basically dragged you here," he began to add, "Thanks for deciding to come along with me, instead of sticking back there in Xa-Koro...eventually Heulrak would have caught you, and I don't want to see him do anything like what I've seen before, again," the Toa of Crystal growled out the last part. "So...yeah. Thanks for making the semi-smarter choice, I guess."

And if he hadn't saved her from the insane Toa of Plantife, well, Mirehu still didn't want to think about that. • IC-Raxa:In an instant, Raxa's mind went somewhat blank. This was twice now, in as many days, that he'd had a girl hugging him without his having initiated it, in some way. Fluidly, though, the arm on that side of Mirehu moved to hug her back, pulling her somewhat closer as Raxa thought, staring at one of the scars running up his arms. He chuckled slightly, after a moment."You know, I'm surprised you haven't asked me why I decided to save you from Heulrak," he commented.

Someone actually helping her, and then continuing to help her never actually happened to Mirehu before. All of this was a new experience, the mainland, the scenery, etc."Why?" Mirehu felt like that was another giant understatement. Massivelly gigantic understatement.IC: Dekal"I suppose you're right," The Toa of Sonics replied, not needing to lean close as he merely used his elemental to allow only Nelan to hear, "But then again, not everyone is happy about my change in employment."The Dekal nodded to the loud group that had come in earilier, the members now shooting him looks now that they recognised him.

  • IC-Raxa:"For the simple matter that he caught me once, so I know what it's like to be stuck in his claws," the Toa of Crystal replied. He was acutely aware of the fact that Sinina was next door and could likely easily hear him, but he really didn't care. There was more to his past than just this, so she'd have next to nothing to use on him."I'd just been out working the streets, and he'd been just a bit more observant than I'd have liked," he continued. "Next thing I knew he had me, and he was dragging me off who-knows where to give me a whipping I'd not likely have gotten from Makuta himself. Then the next day, and the day after that. A majority of any scars I have came from him." He smiled."Except for a few, and that was because after I managed to escape from him, I learned very, very quickly to never, ever get caught." He shook his head. "And I decided afterwards that, if I could prevent it, Heulrak would never lay hands on another person again, no matter what their crime. And it looks like I got there at the right time to help you out, didn't I?" He squeezed her slightly, a bit more, looking down to smile at her.Nearly instantly his brows furrowed to a puzzled expression, and he reached out a hand to lift Mirehu's eyes up to his. He studied her face for a moment, noting, especially, the blush that she had at the moment, and asked a question to fit:"Why are you blushing?"

Vaisaga and I had things to take care of, and quite frankly I didn't fancy the idea of having some talkative moron be tagging along with us. Vaisaga traveled mainly in silence, and I was fine with that, constant chit chat just wasn't nothing. All these thoughts in my head, my face still remained cold impassive, not to mention I still gave off that unnerving aura that unsettled so many people. "Listen, Jed, it's but nice speaking with you, but we need to be on our way." • IC (Oreius)The group of Matoran had been wandering through the jungle for a few hours now -at least, that's what Stannis called it. Leah and Lepidran had led the Company in more or less a straight line from their campsite to the southern beaches of Le-Wahi. It was now nearing noon, and the jungle air was rapidly heating up, becoming warm and humid. It didn't bother Oreius or Stannis, both of whom were immune to temperatures that other Matoran would find uncomfortable, but the rest of the Matoran -especially Reordin- were beginning to sweat. Insects buzzed through the air, and occasionally the cry of a distant Rahi could be heard echoing through the trees. The Company walked mostly in silence, the soundtrack of the Wahi filling in for their lack of conversation. But, as they walked ever further south, the gradually become aware of a difference in the music. It was a regular, rhythmic sound; it was the sound of the surf. The Company broke through the last of the underbrush and emerged to find themselves on the windswept beach of Kamae Bay. The smell of brine assaulted their nostrils, and a cool breeze soothed their damp foreheads. The soft dirt beneath their feet gave way to rocks and sand and dried seaweed, long parched by the hot sun that shone out of a cloudless sky.The Company stood on the beach for a while, enjoying the chance to rest after hours of walking. Lepidran sat down on a log of driftwood; Reordin removed his boots and cooled his feet in the water. Sulov stood ramrod straight, as usual, eyeing their surrounding and no doubt making mental notes of everything he saw.Only Stannis, of the Company, seemed agitated. The others were, no doubt, somewhat anxious in their own ways, but the Wanderer, usually so calm in his faith, was now visibly restless. He paced, his eyes wandering and down the beach, and always returning to the horizon and the kio of ocean that separated the Company from the Islets. At last, he turned to his companions and spoke.“We must be on our way,” he said. “We cannot stop; we must wander.”The other Matoran obeyed, though some of them surely harboured doubts in their minds as to how useful wandering would be. They were kio away from any known ferry; their only real chance of crossing over to the Islets from here was stumbling across some reclusive fisherman and convincing him to ferry them over. Would walking up and down the beach change that?Oreius didn't bother questioning Stannis. The trap of destiny had at last been made clear to him, and he understood: if it was going to happen, then there was nothing you could do to stop it. In the same way, if something was meant not to happen, then it would not come to pass. If they were meant to travel to the Islets, then a way would be found. So they began to wander again. Walking along the beach was more comfortable than walking in the jungle: the air was cooler, and the noise of the surf was all that intruded on their silence; there were no whirring insects or shrieking Rahi.Who knows how long they would have wandered before giving up? These Matoran were steadfast and hardy, and they were following the call of destiny and a vast responsibility; the force that beckoned them was too great to be ignored. But they ended up not wandering for long at all. Half an hour later, they came across what Oreius had first thought to be a great rock rising out of the ocean. But it was a boat, its hull sun-bleached but still tight, gently bobbing a few bio out from the shore. The Matoran looked at the watercraft with new determination. This was their ticket to the Islets; this was the answer that destiny had provided.Oreius went out to the boat first. Having spent his last few weeks training in Ga-Koro, he was a capable swimmer, and was able to make it to the floating vessel quickly and confidently. His companions waited while he investigated the boat: having spent his time working on fishing boats during his stay in Ga-Koro, he probably knew them better than any other Ta-Matoran. The engine coughed a few times before starting up, but eventually it did so, and began purring gently in the water.Carefully manoeuvring the boat, Oreius managed to get a little closer to the shore; the boat was close enough so that the water was about chest-deep; the rest of the Company didn't have to swim out to board it.Soon enough, the Chosen were all aboard, and Oreius tentatively shifted gears as the pulled away from the shore. Despite its ill-used appearance, the boat was in good shape, well-oiled and functioning almost perfectly. Before long, the beach was nothing more than a strip of brown against the greenery of Le-Wahi.As he worked the controls, Oreius's mind wandered to the owner of the boat. Who was it? Did the boat actually belong to someone who used it for fishing or travelling? If so, they were thieves. Or had the boat been placed here by some higher power for their use, to further them in their journey and bring the Quest one step closer to completion? The answer was neither of these, though it was unlikely that any of the Company would ever find out. As the boat picked up speed, dashing through the waves, a small, unnoticed scrap of yellowed paper was blown off and caught in the boat's wake, quickly turning to pulp and dissolving in the salt water.Had any of the Matoran noticed the note in time, this is what they would have read:I don't know why, but somehow I know I need to leave this behind. To whoever finds it: I hope it serves your purposes as well as it did mine. The signature was blurred and couldn't be read, and then the paper was little more than bits of flotsam in a vast and mysterious sea.OOC: The Oceanic Six to Kumu.

  • IC: AurumAurum felt the ice wrap around his left shoulder. As he did, he flung a bit of metallic dust onto Sulkua's armor - and the gaps in it. This action was done as he leapt backwards while simultaneously cloning himself with his illusions. Sulkua would have to be paying attention to himself, and only himself, in order to even notice the abnormal amount of dust on him, or Aurum's throwing action, as he had integrated it with him jumping back. Each of the clones had a frozen shoulder; Together, they cracked the ice with metal and then knocked it off. In unison, the clones, along with the real Aurum, stood, surrounding Sulkua, distancing themselves from the Toa of Ice by about 5 meters. Fall for it, Aurum thought.

  • OOC: Boom Sulkua should be out of the fight.IC: AurumAurum could feel the cold behind his back. But that was too late; Sulkua had fallen for his attack. And now he shall pay the price......The metal dust Aurum had put into Sulkua had been got into joints and holes in the armor, and they had bunched him in these areas. Nearly every joint of Sulkua's that were above the hips, and several bits in his chest, had metal dust collected in them. Whether or not they were inside his armor or not, didn't matter. And if it did, there was a tiny chance it managed to get past his mechanical parts to reach his biological parts. Even more scarier for Sulkua.Aurum smiled. He wasn't the best sword physical fighter - that he needed to practice. But he could use his skills creatively. He would tell Sulkua, if not for what would come immediately afterwards. All the illusions disappeared, leaving a bunch of Sulkua's energy wasted on holograms, while the real Aurum simply laughed as he held out his hands. Closing his eyes, he 'felt' the metal dust he had left earlier, and used them to begin his assault. Palms out, Aurum focused the metal dust to become needles, a lot of needles, growing to about an inch long...wherever they were. This meant that if Sulkua had some in his joints (Which he had), there would be needles growing. Except they didn't have space to go! Where would they go, if they were growing in between a piece of armor and a biomechanical being? Well, they'd have to stab into the softer, squishier bits, wouldn't they? And in this case, it would be the biomechanical being.Aurum waited for Sulkua's reaction. The attack had drained him, and he simply didn't feel like focusing anymore. His muscles felt like burning. Still, he felt the fire to fight on; Creating needles in your enemies joints and behind their armor gave you the feeling of winning, and winning made you a bit happier. In Aurum's case, he would leave Sulkua alive, as a warning.Don't mess with the Followers of Makuta.OOC: If you don't get the attack, Aurum focused on using the metal dust earlier as 'base points' like how he did with the knife. This time, he grew them smaller, but they are inside Sulkua's armor and attacked the joints, as that would be where most of the armor had holes and stuff. I can't control what your character feels, but if I were to estimate, (Should this attack fully work to its full potential), Sulkua would be somewhat paralyzed in moving everything but his legs, losing blood quickly, and receiving pain every time he moves. So if I were playing Sulkua, I'd get him out.I know this might seem auto-hitty, so PM me if you have any issues.

  • IC: Atrox (Le-Koro, the bar inside the inn that he was already in but is saying that everyone else is in for the sake of convenience)I looked up from my drink, examining the other people in the bar, just in time to see an example of violence. Wonderful.I watched the Toa behind it walk over to the bar and sit down. Another Toa followed him, and then I noticed that they kept glancing at another Toa across the room.It was clear enough at this point that the fight earlier wouldn't be the last one I had to sit through. I stood up, took my drink, and then sat at the bar, beside the two Toa, returning to staring at my drink, while listening carefully to their conversation.

  • OOC: Vorex, I'm afraid that won't work, Dekal is using his powers to keep only Nelan within earshot.Though I have to say Atrox's profile was rather... entertainingIC: AvalancheAvalanche noticed the puny Toa moving closer to the pair he was eavesdropping on himself. Well, as far as eavesdropping was possible when you couldn't hear a word they were saying.

  • IC-Raxa:Raxa, meanwhile, just laughed a bit again, pulling Mirehu up slightly tighter, all thoughts of the blush seemingly forgotten. Then they stayed there for a moment, enjoying each other's company, before Raxa decided to break the silence again."So...any other world-shattering topics of discussion?"

  • IC: Dekal [Le-Koro, Bar]The robed De-Toa was quite aware of the Toa of Plasma coming to sit near them at the bar, and the fact that he seemed to be trying to listen in one their conversation. Well, that was fine, not like Dekal was going to give away any secret Guard plans or anything. "That I do," the Toa of Sonics replied, before adding, "Keep an eye on those two," he indicated the two Toa, "Don't what's going on, but it might be a good idea."IC: Mirehu [Le-Koro]"Not really," the Toa of Crystal said in reply, the blushing somewhat fading. Mirehu thought for a moment, before adding, "I don't exactly know how to change my armor, if that's anything important..."
