IC-KuAnLo:And as Frii'Glokk had turned, KuAnLo had already stopped with his biting attack, transitioning to a defensive posture. He took the elbow in one hand, ducking beneath the bayonet as he shoved back at the elbow, to knock Frii'Glokk off-balance as he threw a hand to grab and rip the Skakdi's spine.

IC: ShinnShinn flew closer to Verak, and fired his light rifle at his groin.

IC- Verak - Southeast corner of Pala KoroVerak casually but rapidly jerked his body to the side, letting the bolt of solid light smash into a piece of rubble, shattering into the same orange energy that trailed behind the projectile, a glowing line pointing to his attacker. Verak flashed his dazzling smile at Shinn, unfazed by the attack. "That wasn't very kind, brother. I just said I wasn't armed."

IC:But Frii'Glokk's spine was on the other side of his body, with the skakdi having just turned moments before, so the attack just scratched his armor. Shoving his elbow back at him did throw the skakdi off balance, but he stepped back to regain the correct battle posture, then fired 3 bullets at KuAnLo's waist, and the rounds were even more deadly and harder to dodge because they were fired at point-blank range.

IC: SpyderThe twisted being watched, waiting for an opening to use his venom. Just one cut, and the Skakdi would find himeslf unable to move, unable to fight.It was the nature of his Kanohi, allowing him to share abilities with the creatures he resembled.

IC-KuAnLo:However, for KuAnLo, his fighting style required that he not stop moving for long. When he noticed that Frii'Glokk didn't turn much at all when he got shoved, his armour only being scratched, KuAnLo had already begun moving out of the way-when Frii'Glokk regained his balance and fired, KuAnLo had already been long out of the way.In fact, right now KuAnLo was moving to shove Frii'Glokk again, this time towards Spyder.

OOC: C'mon, krayzikk and Wade, help meh out.IC:Frii'Glokk sidestepped the shove, while KuAnLo moved past the empty air where the skakdi once stood. Frii'Glokk turned, having both enemies in his field of vision now, and walked backwards, firing 2 more shots at spyder.

IC: SpyderThe bullets bounced harmlessly off the rounded shield the Toa had made for himself, clinging as they hit the crystal. switching powers that his Kanohi granted him, Spyder shot webbing at the Skakdi, trying to tangle him up.

IC:The webbing stuck to Frii'Glokk's left arm; which he raised to block, and then was scraped off by his bayonet on the other arm. He also took the time to start reloading his magazine in his peripheral vision, although still staring intently at his enemies.

OOC: Bulik, I was kinda busy. If you need help direly, don't post until your helper's online to lend you a hand.But yeah, 1 more ILF taker for an even match?IC: OnyxThe Fe-Toa merely side-stepped to avoid the blackfire shot at him, deciding to leave Zenix for a moment since help was more urgent in Frii'Glokk's case. If anything, getting momentarily squeezed by a being with hulk-like strength and favouring an extensively damaged hand should keep him busy. That didn't mean he was to be ignored though. Swiftly, Onyx left the malicious Toa for two other animals, generating iron in his hand under the form of a spiked mace. KuAnLo would certainly notice the hulking armoured menace charging from behind though his powerful legs propelled Onyx forward far quicker than anticipated, leaving little time for reaction.

OOC: Grah Ninja'd.IC-KuAnLo:And as Frii'Glokk was hit by, and scraped off the webbing, KuAnLo had gathered some rather unassuming things from the ground: Rocks. Generally sharp and pointy, yes, having been from the now-exploded wall, but he had them nonetheless. As well, he had a Sanok.And as Frii'Glokk was reloading, KuAnLo began to hurl the improvised weapons at the Skakdi with his prodigious strength, his accuracy being aided by his Sanok, constantly ready to shift aim and attack the Skakdi if he dodged.And as he made his attack, he turned, noticing the large Toa of Iron running for him, one of the few Toa who might be as large as KuAnLo was. The twisted Toa of Stone smiled. He then ducked under the mace, moving to simultaneously headbutt Onyx in the Solar Plexus and to tear his legs out from under him, his claws positioned to hamstring Onyx if he didn't move away fast enough.

IC Genno,with Dyzaera and TerzakI stood motionless, overlooking the battle. It had slowed down, but still, neither side seemed to be winning. Then I saw a skakdi that appeared to be an ILF member that seemed to need help. "Dyzaera, Terzak," I spoke. "Flank them." As Dyzaera rocketed up into the sky and Terzak retreated into the shadows, I walked over. Making my footsteps conspicuosly loud, I stomped over. With a final stomp, I stopped, still as a stone, standing tall, glaive slung over shoulder, and eyes staring down at the combatants.

OOC: Sorry, I noticed you were viewing the topic and I made a desperate plea for help. But the second sentence doesn't really apply when I'm trying to dodge one attack by one player before the other enemy piles his attack on top of that. :IC:When KuAnLo began picking up crystal shards, Frii'Glokk's attention turned to that enemy. When the stones were thrown, Frii'Glokk batted one away with his gun, some just barely missed as he ducked, but when KuAnLo turned, he lost focus and the shards lost their sanok accuracy and flew overhead. Frii'Glokk then stood up and shot 2 bullets at KuAnLo's exposed back.

OOC: I never said he swung but I'll work with it.IC: OnyxUnfortunately, KuAnLo hadn't seemed to notice the thick, heavy armour his foe wore and as a result, his head smashed hard into the metal while Onyx tightened his abdominals to further reduce the impact of the blow. With his foe disoriented and seeing stars momentarily, he did a small backwards leap before hands could hope to claw at his legs. Just as a counter-attack was about to ensure on his part though, two bright flashes accompanied by a bang came into existence further in front of him, zooming straight for the savage Toa's rear. Worried that they might hit him instead of their intended target if they were avoided, he stepped to the side with his shield positioned defensively.

OOC: Pffft seeing stars, when you've got a thick skull like KuAnLo, who attacks heavily armoured beings and...tries to eat them. xP As well...just because he doesn't focus on the rocks doesn't mean they'll instantly change course, because they were sent flying straight for Frii'Glokk. Not over his head to divebomb down, which wouldn't make much sense.IC-KuAnLo:As KuAnLo rolled away as well, not allowing himself to get hit, as he turned and threw another couple of the sharp rocks at Frii'Glokk, sending them straight for the Skakdi. A second later he turned, before proceeding to slowly move about Onyx, in a wide circle, slowly getting smaller, spiraling in for the Toa of Iron."Why do you fight, Toa?" KuAnLo asked, growling out the words like the wolf he seemed to be, at times. "Why do you not surrender? The battle is already lost. Would you rather fight to the death, or live to fight another day?"

IC: SpyderThe Toa of Crystal took advantage of the Skakdi's momentary distraction. Spyder snuck behing the Skakdi while he was busy firing his rifle off at KAL, and once again gained a paralyzing venom with his Faxon.Encasing his claws in razor-sharp crystal spikes, the twisted being lashed out at the the Skakdi's back, his hands now desdly weapons. Even with his thich armor, the Skakdi would find a hard time defending against the sharpened spikes, especially from behind.

IC:Frii'Glokk Jump-rolled to his right, out of the way of the rocks and Spyder's attack. He shot twice at Spyder, backing away and drawing his shortsword.

IC: Onyx"Is the battle really lost?" Onyx questioned. True, the fortified walls which stood proudly as Pala-Koro's main defence were brought down and a few structures managed to get blown apart but the village was still alive. Dare he say, this was his home now and by Mata-Nui was he going to defend it till its end. Running away like a coward when there was still hope was not an idea that sat well with his conscience. Not when he could at least inflict payback.He didn't bother to voice any of that though, aggressors usually found a way to turn such comments against you. Just as the warrior did not speak, he did not strike. He stood there, waiting for a reply or an attack which would end their petty conversation.

IC: SpyderThe first shot missed, flying over the twisted creature as he rolled to the side, but the second shot hit him. Nothing major, skimming across his back, cutting a large gash in his armor and a bit of his organics. Still, Spyder hissed at the Skakdi, before coming at him again, his gait lopsided as he didn't have his arms to support himself.Slowly circling Frii'Glokk, Spyder once again attacked, a stab with his right arm spike followed by a quick slash with his left one.

IC-KuAnLo:"Where stand your proud walls?" KuAnLo asked. "Where is your main building? Gone, in explosions of fire and rubble, raining down about you. You have numerous casualties, many more than our side does-I daresay that one of your fighters, my brother, was kidnapped by other followers some time ago. And we have only suffered two casualties, so far, it seems." KuAnLo continued to spiral towards Onyx, getting barely closer with every step."Your allies are dying, your village nearly destroyed, and yet you fight. You continue to fight, even to the death, when you could better leave, now, and come and exact your revenge later. Why?"

IC:Frii'Glokk twisted himself 90 degrees to the right, dodging the stab, but the follow-up slash managed to put a deep laceration in his thick armor, almost penetrating it and twirling him 180 degrees left. He quickly used this motion to speed up a quick stab for Spyder's neck/upper torso with his right arm's bayonet.

IC GennoI roared once more. "Come fight a man of your own size!" I roared to KuAnLo.

IC-KuAnLo:"This man actually is my size," KuAnLo roared back, keeping his ears trained in case Genno came to attack, while he kept his eyes on Onyx.

IC: SpyderThe twisted being, seeing his danger, brought his crystal-coated arm up to block. The stab hit the crystal armor with enough force to shatter the transparent substance. His arm hurting from the impact, Spyder drew it back, before spitting paralyzing venom into the face of his enemy.Hopefully, it would provide enough distraction for him to get out again.

OOC: Construcman, Onyx matches KuAnLo in size.Edit: Ninja'd.IC: Onyx"Because the battle's outcome hasn't been decided yet. If staying here to fight, even to my death, will make our victory all the more likely, I'll do it. If it means killing a handful of you Piraka, I'll do it. Plus, who's to say I'm going to die? Certainly not you." Onyx replied calmly, despite his anticipation of an attack, watching every single one of KuAnLo's step warily. It was just a matter of time until their small talk grew stale and when that happened, blood was going to be shed.

IC: Aurel:"I don't have my sword with me. If we get into a fight, I won't be useful. Probably a good idea just to pretend nothing's there."

IC-KuAnLo:"It is invariable," KuAnLo said to Onyx, shrugging. "No matter what, you, as well as many others, will likely sustain great wounds, and be unable to find medical help before a powerful infection sets in. Quickly after that you are likely to suffer a painful death." KuAnLo shrugged."Of course, if you would rather meet an honorable death in battle," the Toa of Stone said, his tone slightly different, now, "I'd be happy to oblige. Who knows, maybe our other, large-sized friend could jump in. I could use him as an effective weapon."

IC:The Venom splattered on Frii'Glokk's helmet, almost all of it not touching Frii'Glokk's face. The little that did came in through the eye-holes, and was only enough venom to lose a little over half the feeling in his body. Frii'Glokk retaliated by firing 2 more shots at spyder, ducking forward, and doing a stab/uppercut with his bayonet at Spyder's Stomach.

IC: Onyx"Right back at you." Onyx replied shortly, feeling that the time for their idle talk had come to an end. In one sudden movement, he kicked a load of dirt into the air, aimed mostly for the face (if it even got that high), to initiate an instinctive reaction from KuAnLo. As a follow-up, his mace came down in a diagonal swing while his shield was prepared off to the side.

OOC OopsIC Genno"Oh, my eyes must be bad. But then again, it's a figure of speech often used to..." the giant toa rambled on and on. His mind raced with the thoughts "what would Skaaraa do to annoy an enemy?"IC TerzakMeanwhile, I crouched in the trees behind this battle slowly slinking my way to Spyder, I kept a careful eye on the battle. I trusted that Dyzaera, who was perched on a treetop, would do the same.

IC-KuAnLo:And, of course, the reaction KuAnLo had was rolling back and to the side, thinking there being an actual attack, not a cloud of dirt. Well, turns out there was an actual attack, one his dodging had actually allowed him to dodge. So he dodged a fake attack while at the same time dodging a real attack because he didn't know about the real attack.How odd.Meanwhile, though, KuAnLo launched himself forwards, grabbing the mace to hold it away as he tried to headbutt Onyx.

IC: OnyxKuAnLo however, was reminded of Onyx's mammoth strength the hard way. The brute considered retaliating with his own headbutt yet that would result in both of their skulls caving in so he thought best against it. Instead, the force and strength applied to keep the mace away was like a child's compared his own, swinging sideways towards KuAnLo's ribs with relative ease. If the cannibal didn't disengage from his attack in time, two thick skulls would collide but a heavy blow to the side would compensate for it.

IC: [iegasa]"Do not worry," said the Toa of Plasma with a smile. "I shall do my best to keep you and Noira from harm. I am rather interested in these turn of events."

IC, Zenix: Zenix, seizing the opportunity, ran over to his second gladii and picked it up. He sheathed both and looked around. He saw the spear that Onyx had created and thrown at him. He picked it up. Looking over, he saw that the Pakari user was distracted with KuAnLo. The Toa of Blackfire ran behind Onyx, turned over the spear and prodded at Onyx's head with the back end of the spear, attempting to knock his mask off.

IC-KuAnLo:At the same time that KuAnLo stiffened his arm, holding the mace off long enough that he could flip over it, avoiding the attack and being ready to attack Onyx once the time came around.

IC: SpyderWith a grunt, the hunched Toa took the first bullet in the stomach, his armor slowing the projectile little. Meanwhile, the second bullet skimmed past his torso, barely making contact with the twisted being's armor with a clang. Still, this did little to effect him, as Spyder blocked the bayonet lung with his crystal-encased limb, before grabbing onto the weapon with his other clawed hand.He held onto it with a strength that didn't seem to match his thin frame, before jamming his crystal spike limb towards Frii'Glokk's chest. The Skakdi would have to do sometihng to make Spyder release his grip to get away, or let go of his own weapon.

IC:But Frii'Glokk's weapon was his arm, so at any rate, he could not let go. He parried the stab with his short sword; sliding it out of the way, followed by a slash at Spyder's other wrist, which would either sever it gruesomely or the being would let go, depending on his enemy's reflexes.

IC: SpyderSeeing as his choices weren't good, the twisted being releaced the weapon, shards of razor-shard crystal shooting out of his hook-clawed hand as he backed away from the Skakdi. At such close range, atleast some would hit.Spyder crawled back for a bit longer, and focused his elemental power once again. Within seconds, another spike of crystal had formed on his arm.

IC: Aurel:"You're leading then."

IC: [iegasa]"Very well," said the priest as the group headed towards the source of the commotion.

IC:The shotgun blast of shards threw crystal in all directions, some chunks of various sizes transfixed themselves into his armor, some of them making it through and into the tissue underneath. With only half the feeling in his body as usual, Frii'Glokk ignored the pain and quickly retreated to behind a boulder that used to be a wall, reloading his gun while constantly checking his enemy's actions.
