IC: Salamander"And I'm supposed to care why exactly? Not to say I'm against giving this to you - provided I get it back - but you've at least got to try to convince me."He slipped the journal back into his pocket, careful to not take his eyes off of Kearstrun. The other Toa wore a Kakama, which meant even blinking could provide Kearstrun the chance to attack or steal the journal.Of course, at this distance he hardly even needed an opening, but Salamander was reluctant to accept that as anything more than a possibility."In the meantime, let's walk to wherever it is you were planning on bringing this. I know it's not your usual speed, but unless it's on the other side of the island it shouldn't take us too long."

IC: Kearrstrun - Ga-Koro StreetsKearrstrun chuckled, "If you didn't care, you wouldn't ask to see the place I plan on taking it. Which I will not do; with respect; I'd rather not reveal Tuara's position. I worry that information might fall on the ears of somebody interested in freeing Iris."Kearrstrun complied anyways, "Tuara's life should be valued. Right now, living inside her head is the Toa Iris who is using her to take control of as many Mark Bearers as he can. This could mean a lot of death for his enemies- most of them probably noble beings with morals. Past his enemies who knows what he might do with an army as powerful as this; when unified." The Toa of sonics started to pace in circles around Salamander slowly; an odd thing for Kearrstrun."If we cannot get rid of Iris, using the information in there, we will be forced to end her life as Angelus requested. Something I would rather not do, she is an asset to both her allies and the Ta-Koro guard, not to mention she is beautiful and a skilled fighter, a shame to see killed."He titled his head, "But you don't care for the lives of others do you? Even when they may provide for the simple people of this world. As I heard, you tried to kill Tuara for seemingly no reason, and when Yuru went for Utu, you lit the bar aflame, extending Utu's lifetime by a few more minutes."Kearrstrun's eyes narrowed, "You're too occupied with protecting your own interests to care for them unless it seems they have something to do with Utu," pause, "Something I found interesting."The Toa of sonics smiled finally, tilting his head in the opposite direction, "I'd tell you many lives are at stake, but you don't care, because it wouldn't have anything to do with you."He held his hand up, palm to the sky, "Instead, if you refuse to give me the journal, I will blow your ears out, then take it from your quivering hands with such speed you wouldn't know it was gone."

IC: Cirya (Path to Ta-Wahi)Not for the first time, Cirya looked through the small object she was holding towards the Village of Fire. It was a telescope, created with a lot of concentration and some elemental power. Even with the small device, Ta-Koro looked just as far away to the Toa of Crystal as it did an hour ago.Why does this island have to be so big? she thought to herself, putting the telescope back into her small pack and continuing on down the road.

OOC: Well derp, now I get to edit this. But how?IC-Praggos:Praggos boredly walked though Ga-Koro, not very interested with the affairs of Tillian's group as he came upon Kearrstrun and Salamander in a street. So, thinking it would relieve the monotony, he decided to watch them.

ICLara continued to slog down the road to Ta-Wahi, slowly making her way through the grassy, inland hills. She thought there was less grass, more black rock, but that might have just been wishful thinking. Tha Ga-Matoran kept her eyes on the ground, watching her armored feet step on the dirt of the path. Leaning forwards a bit helped her with the huge pack on her back.She heard a noise and her head jerked up. Rahi? No. Just a high flying fishing bird, flying high in the air over her head. She did notice someone else- in the distance, the tall shape of a Toa was visible. "Hey!" she shouted, hoping to catch the toa's attention. Even after hundreds of years of doing this, inland roads were very dangerous. Rahi were everywhere and willing to attack with Makuta's will, and the small Ga-Matoran would feel much better if she had a toa guardian. "Wait up!" Lara picked up her pace, moving closer and closer to the Toa.

IC: [Gunner](Infernavika)

IC: Arzanyos popped his head out from below deck. "Oh, so your in charge now, eh Gunner?" He laughed. "Got anything that could use the express route down?"

I nodded quickly, "Oh good, Arzanyos. You made it."I pointed out towards the forest, "I need you to teleport down there, and find us a good place to make camp."

IC: (The Infernavika)Didn't take long. In another fifteen minutes and some serious help from Perkahn's power over iron, the anchor was repaired. Perkahn looked slightly exhausted for it, though."Gunner! I suppose I dump this back in the water? And the right way this time?"

"Yes, that would be appreciated Perkahn! And once you're done with that, I need you to tell everyone the plan you told me! I don't like having to repeat myself!"-Void

IC: Cirya (Ta/Ga road)"Hey! Wait up!" the Toa of Crystal heard someone call, and she stopped to see who it was. Turning around, Cirya found that is was blue-armored Ga-Matoran, carrying quite a large pack. Cirya smiled, and said, "Hello."She didn't expect to find anyone else on the road, as it was dangerious enough with all the rahi attacks. And Cirya really didn't expect to find a Matoran traveling alone here, most of the time caravans were taken.

IC"Hi," Lara said, falling into pace with the toa. She readjusted her pack, and then said, "Sorry to bother you, it's just- well, the roads are dangerous, and it'd be good to have protection. I'm Lara," She added, holding out a hand to shake.

IC: Tawara (Briani's Hut)"Perhaps Kane was killed by a trio of mutant Hikaki with psychic powers? Or by a mad fisherwoman who thought he was a Takea Shark?" offered Tawara.

IC: Raion, Ga-Koro"That..." Raion started to say. "Was not expected. Better than anything I can think of. But why would the mad fisherwoman think there is great evil in us all?" OOC: Yay for characters that take everything seriously.

IC: Cirya (Ta/Ga Road)"I'm Cirya," the Toa fo Crystal replied, shaking the Matoran's hand. "And don't worry about it, I'd rather you travel with me then by yourself, for the same reasons you just said. I don't like it when people get hurt.""It is dangerous here," Cirya added. "So, where are you heading?"

IC"Onu-Koro. They apparently have a need for rope and string." Lara patted her large pack, "But the closest route is through the Onu-Ta tunnel. Just a traveler. But where are you going?"

IC: Cirya (Ta/Ta Road) "Nowhere in particular. i was going to see if anyone needed an employee in Ta, but I could just as easily take you to all the way to Onu," she replied, ajusting the small pack of items she carried.

ICNo sooner had I finished did a sudden shadow appear, standing between me and my sun. Looking up all I could see was a dark silhouette, but what I could tell was that it was tall, lean, toa, and female - as if the voice didn't tip me off. Colors were muted due to shadow but she seemed to be an off-blue color, and by the exterior shape a rather attractive specimen. Then she opened her mouth."Is that so, Mr.?" The voice was cold and unemotional, if not pointed. "If so please explain."I chuckled mildly as I leaned back into my former position, taking a contented breath. "Is what so? My friend's contraption there? I can't explain it; I'm no engineer. In any instance, you're in my sun; could you move, like, half a bio in that direction? Thanks."

IC"If you think so," Lara said. She didn't want to push the toa into such a long journey, but Lara disliked the claustrophobic tunnels of Onu-Wahi, and company would be welcome. The Ga-Matoran looked at he ground. Now it definitely was getting rockier. She looked ahead. The Ga-Matoran could now see the black rocks of Ta-Wahi in the distance. "Soo..." Lara looked at Cirya'a slender frame and the greyish coloring. "Are you an ice toa?" she asked. It was best not to assume these things, fr there were many other types of toa here on Mata-Nui, and many with grey armor.

IC: Tawara (Briani's Hut)"Maybe she thinks we're the mutant Hikaki. Honestly, though, isn't this island full of murderers? It could be anyone who did it. And it's not necessarily you they're after. It might be Kitsune or Briani. Or Jikal. He certainly has a great evil inside of him." Tawara paused thoughtfully. "It's certainly not me, though. The only people on this island I've offended are the Le-Koro Guard, and I don't think this is the sort of thing they'd do."OOC: I'm going to be unable to post from later today to the end of next week. Sorry.

IC:Wiremu winced melodramatically. Only Joske would have the confidence to give orders to somebody greater than his own size. The Onu-Matoran nudged his friend. "I don't think she was talking about my work," he said. "I think she's addressing your very obvious attitude problem."

IC: Cirya (Ta/Ga Road)"Crystal," the Toa of said element replied, shrugging as if she got that a lot. Which she did, but most of the time it was Sonics. "Close, though, closer then most."

IC"Crystal, huh?" Lara said, "I've never met a Toa of crystal before." She waved away a small fly, which flew off into the hills.

OOC: te-heICMy eyes popped open very suddenly, my head ever-so-slowly turning to my friend, a look of utter shock written all over it. With effort my free hand pressed against my chest. "Me? Attitude problem?" There was about a three heartlight blink before I burst out laughing, knowing that my face could convince even Makuta. I tried to hold it, but I just couldn't. "Ok, I admit, that was a bit much. Maybe I should cut back on the sarcasm a bit more. Honestly though I don't see it so much as a problem as a born flaw, and not a major drawback at that." I shrugged. "In any case, she should clarify to what she is referring to when speaking to someone. Unless it is specified to what exactly is the point of reference is, someone like me can very easily imply the wrong reference to what the phrase in question was, unless the point was indeed to be ambiguous, in which case she succeeded amazingly."

IC:"You and your semantics," Wiremu said, returning his focus to the scrap pile. "I'll let you handle her and her ambiguities yourself."

IC"Deal."I turned my attention back to the lovely darkened silhouette standing above me, who from body posture was clearly not amused. I waved a hand nonchalantly, all the while a pleasant smile on my face. "You're still in my sun, you know. Would you mind moving please?"I had polite irritation down to an art form.

OOC: Okay. You want me to send you a PM with a link later tonight, so you'll know where we left off?IC: Raion, Ga-Koro"Those are all good points. Perhaps It's just some crazy that saw us and decided to target us. Or some crazy that was turned down by Briani and then decided to kill her and all her friends."Everyone seemed to scoot away from the blushing Briani, who attempted to say something in her defense, but could do little more than sputter in outrage.

IC: XerovI hear a little more of the conversation. Whatever's going on, it doesn't seem too friendly. And one of those guys is a prick. He probably has a job in sports.

IC: Cirya (Ta/Ga Road)"Well," Cirya said, "I guess that you have now. Its not that much different then Ice, just with less cold."

OOC: Sure, thanks.IC: Tawara (Briani's Hut)"Exactly. I don't think we'll get anywhere just by tryin' to think of anyone who might want to kill us. I think the one clue we might have is the writing on that guy's corpse. Do you know any particularly poetic murderers?"

IC: Rit"Apologies sir, how rude of me to block the sun from those who deserve it." I said, looking the Onu-Matoran in the eye, as I stepped aside. Hopefully the Ta-Matoran would pick up on the fact that by those he deserved it, I did not mean him, not with how he was acting at least.

IC"And, more importantly, it doesn't melt," Lara added. The path wove along the edge of a steep hill, near a large canyon. There was much more rock and heat here.Lara turned- a long, old, suspension bridge spanned the canyon. On the other side the red skied land of Ta-Wahi lay. "Here we are," Lara gestured, taking a few steps onto the bridge. "On to Ta-Wahi!"

IC"Thanks." I said, completely ignoring the attempt at a meaningful barb sent in my direction. I laid there silent for a moment, completely absorbed in my own thoughts, ignoring the world, as well as absorbing as much sun as I could - that is, until an idea popped in my head. I turned to Wiremu."You know, despite how busy I said I'd be this week, today IS my day off, evidenced by the fact we're both relaxing at the beach. I'm not doing anything, might as well do something... what was that word you like to use... Ah! Constructive? I mean, like, was there something you wanted to do? Some gadget you always wanted to buy? Some crazy dream contraction you wanted to build? Some place you wished to go that's nearby? Ever wanted to know what the women's locker room looked like?"I threw that last one in just because of the reaction I'd get. And while these onlookers might think me joking, Wiremu knew me well enough to read my face and know that I'd done things like that before and would be willing to do it again. Still, I wanted to know what his idea of fun and adventure was - if he had any.It was a work in progress. Work in progress.

IC Yasurek:Yasurek shuffled up onto the main deck, looking like he had woken up recently from along nap. He blinked his eyes to get them to adjust before speaking. "So, from what I hear Gunner's currently in charge," he commented, yawning as he did so. "That's nice. What sort of job do you require me to perform, current acting leader?" he asked Gunner.

IC: XerovI'm beginning to realise something: this guy is a nutcase.No, seriously. You'd have to be to be capable of what he's doing right now. I mean, I'm severely lacking in the department of social skills, and even I wouldn't shrug off an insult and then proceed to say something that the very person who flung the insult at me would find offensive. I'm frowning right now. This guy's either one of those rich-and-famous types or one of those guys who has delusions about being one of those rich-and-famous types.To be honest, it's hard to tell.

IC: RitLocker room, the little devil. I knew that was meant to just be a barb towards me, I wouldn't take the bait. My face remaining impassive throughout the Ta-Matoran's suggestions, I looked at the Onu-Matoran. "So you build contraptions, sounds pretty interesting. Do you have any thing I could see?"However even as I spoke, I was watching the onlooker from the corner of my eye, he's been listening to us for awhile. I for one wasn't a big fan of being spied on. I wanted to know why he was watching us.

IC: Raion, Ga-KoroRaion paused. "No... I know one who used to leave behind origami, but never one that was poetic."

IC: HanixA Toa of water sat on her roof, polishing her katana. She had lost Zakama, word of her brothers dying...she was readying to ind TE murderer and kill them.OOC: Open for interaction

IC:"My idea of adventure," Wiremu said, "Is seeing the whole island, doing something important. Not those little frivolous things you like to do... Joske, you need to find a passion for more than just hitting a ball around with that stick of yours." The Onu-Matoran turned to address the female Toa who had been blocking Joske's sun; he was far more polite with her than he was with his familiar friend. "No, sorry," he answered her. "Just the little things I've been toying with, here," he gesturing to the half-dissassembled sand machine, "Nothing all that useful. Most of my work is back home in Onu-Koro. But thank you for your interest."

IC: RitI was indeed interested, fascinated even. It was rare to see someone actually possess skills not related to fighting. "So what kind of things do you build, it's nice to see someone with skills that don't pertain to Fighting, or womanizing. Someone intellectual beyond the average hit it with a stick to get it to work again is quite interesting. It's a pleasure to meet you, I'm Rit." I said holding a hand out to Onu-Matoran.

IC:Wiremu took Rit's hand and shook it. "Wiremu," he said. "It's nice to meet you. As for what I build... It varies, really... I suppose whatever people need? I'm sorry, I'm... not being very descriptive here, am I? I'm just not used to talking about my work."

IC: Rit"It's quite all right Wiremu, you use far more words than my companion here. However you only build what others need? What about experimenting and trying new things, or just building something for yourself for once. If you built more than what you were just told to, I'm sure you could push the boundaries even further. Who knows you may even start a revolution of sorts on Mata-Nui. Trust what Mata-Nui needs are more inventors, not just builders." I encouraged Wiremu, after all it'd be a shame to see all his potential go to waste.

IC: [Lux Saran](Training Grounds, Ga-Koro, Ga-Wahi)Lux drew his old claymore in one swift movement, noting, as always, how perfectly balanced it was in his hands. He still remembered that day in the forge, when he sat down to begin work on the blade. It had taken weeks, but once it had been finished, the sword was truly a sight to behold.The most perfectly balanced sword, the Matoran thought, And I still don't know how to use it.Holding it in the ready position his old teacher had taught him, Lux said, "Whenever you're ready, Hak!"IC: [Gunner](Infernavika, Forest Shore, Ga-Wahi Fjord)I chuckled, trying to hide my discomfort, "Well, technically I'm not actually in charge. But, no one else was leading the ship, so..."I held up my hands in resignation, "But hey, no one's tried to kill me yet, so I can't be doing that bad a job."-Void

IC: HanixHanix jumped off the building and walked off to search fr Zakama, he was needed. "I'll find you,"

IC: SalamanderSalamander shrugged at Kearstrun's words, his expression one of boredom and indifference."You're right. I don't care."He pulled out the journal and held it out to Kearstrun."I've already read it."OOC: I always forget... Which one of us was in control of Salamander when he attempted to kill Tuara? I could probably go look it up, but that'd be a pain... :POh, and I really had to fight the urge to set it on fire... Luckily, I managed to hand it over in one piece... Eventually.
