"Not much to get, except-" I dashed off to my hotel, grabbing my stuff and checking out, before running back to the bar and throwing a rose though the window. I ran back, grinning slightly. "Ready to rock."

  • IC (Echelon)Echelon heard, through the sounds of battle, a metallic click behind him. Instinctively, the Dark Toa wheeled around, staff held defensively -And a jagged blade swept down. Tupua's blade knocked his staff from his hand and sliced through the armour of his forearm, leaving a score in the flesh beneath. Echelon hissed at the sudden pain and dropped into a crouch, but immediately regained his focus and responded with a two powerful magnetic pushes - one to get Tupua back out of melee range, and the other to deal with JL's charge. He glanced at his arm, inspecting the wound. It wasn't deep, and he could deal with the pain. The armour folded back together, magnetising in place and stopping the bleeding.Returning his gaze to his opponents, he reached out an arm. His staff flew into his outstretched hand as he straightened up.

He didn't try to sneak, of course, because he knew that she knew he would be there."So, Sinina," he said, starting up a small conversation, "What have you been doing since the battle?"

"See you soon, I suppose," she added, but Raxa was already out the door. With a sigh, Mirehu fell back on the bed, deciding to get some rest now that every small movement didn't wake her up.She didn't want to think about just what Raxa needed to do, or if it had anything to do with that Toa of Lightning, Sinina.IC: SpyderThe three shots rang out across the battlefield, making ever more noise as two of them impacted the Toa's shield, while the third went right through the plate of crystal. It still had enough momentum to go a fair bit into his body, too. Grunting from the impact, Spyder lept back from the sword slash, and batted away then jab with his two-pronged blade. In an attempt to paralyze the Skakdi fully, the twisted being shot the venom toward's the being many cuts created by the crystal cloud earilier. • IC: Xerov (Le-Wahi)I was right. The elevators below Le-Koro have come into view at last. This is actually going to be pretty simple; all I have to do is lie low. I can set up a new life for myself here, like I did in Ga-Koro.Despite the black mark on the arm of the jacket, I think I'll be keeping it, and the trousers. I will have to change my name again, though...As the lift rises, Le-Koro comes into view. I know I've never been here before, but there's an annoying voice in the back of my head telling me that, somehow, I know this place.I shrug it off, heading into the Koro itself in search of an inn where I can stay the night before making my plans. Soon enough, I find one, but there are two people already there: a Ko-Matoran, who seems familiar, and a Le-Matoran wearing an unusual hat. I stand silently behind them, waiting for them to finish so that I can get a room of my own.OOC: The two Matoran are Myka and Zyron.

  • OOC: GH, I prove you wrong.

IC (Echelon)As Echelon fell, a bolt of lightning streaked past him, the magnetic field of which pushed him downwards, increasing his groundward velocity.Echelon groaned as the air whistled by him. He could barely think; but the knowledge of imminent death gave him some small degree of awareness. He couldn't gather the concentration to use his powers. He would hit the ground, and that would be the end of him. There was no way he could survive a fall from that height. He was done for.And suddenly - Impact.
And then Zadron saves him.IC: JLJL dug his sword into the ground at an angle, anchoring himself. Holding a hand up, he fired a bolt of lightning forwards, towards Echelon, and also 'clearing a path' for himself.

  • OOC: JL, 1) the bolt missed, 2) Echelon was semi-conscious :PThe below post is approved by Nuju. Sorry, JL, but this is what you get for ignoring your character's relative strengths and weaknesses.IC (Echelon)Echelon made up his mind. This had gone on long enough; it was time to set an example. First, by dealing with that annoyance of a Toa of Magnetism. He focused his powers on the sword. Magnetism yanked it out of the ground, the speed of it jerking JL's grip off the hilt. With a wave of his hand, Echelon lifted JL and Tupua into the air, sending them flying towards each other, magnetised. They dropped to the ground, stuck to each other once more - this time, humiliatingly, facing each other. With those two temporarily immobilised, the Dark Toa turned back to Argentum. He began to stride purposefully at Argentum, his crimson eyes boring into the Toa's.Argentum's eyes widened, and he magnetically hurled each of his fallen blades at Echelon - but the Dark Toa deflected them with ease, not even breaking his stride. Argentum began to back away in fear.Echelon suddenly raised a hand, and Argentum was flung up into the air by a magnetic throw he could not hope to counter - and was just as suddenly slammed back to earth. The force of the impact was enough to knock the air from Argentum's lungs and would have broken a weaker Toa's bones."You are weak," Echelon said, looking down at his fellow Toa of Magnetism as he lay prone, unable to move as magnetic force pinned him to the ground. "And you are foolish. Not only have you failed to master your element, but you have sided with a doomed cause. And you have stood in my way."The sword of which Echelon had disarmed JL hovered into view. Slowly but inexorably, it floated over to Argentum, coming to rest suspended above the Toa's wrist. The tall, dark figure stood over Argentum like a personification of Death, his red eyes burning coldly from behind his ominous mask."A mistake you will regret."The sword plunged into the ground, severing Argentum's hand. The Toa screamed in agony.Echelon turned, releasing his magnetic hold and walking away from Argentum."Cross me again," he said as he went, pausing briefly - "and it will be your head."

  • Vitae crept on the rooftops of Pala-Koro, Mask of Stealth active and concealing her presence. She still didn't understand the purpose of this conflict - but when she saw one Toa of Magnetism sever the hand of another, she knew who her allies were. From behind Echelon, twin vines whipped out and lashed around his shoulders, halting the Makuta Follower from walking any further away. The Toa of the Green nimbly leapt down from a rooftop behind Echelon, vines still lashed around her wrists and connecting to Echelon. The vines were fairly thick and strong, so unless the Toa of Magnetism severed them, he would find himself dragged along if he tried to fling Vitae away or throw her aside."I've seen enough of what you've done here," the Toa of the Green said. "It's monsters like you that caused the death of thousands."Stepping forwards, Vitae leapt up and to the side, releasing one vine from her arm. The vine quickly fell to the ground, where Vitae's Elemental Energy began to cause it to grow roots and embed itself into the ground. Echelon could put a stop to this fairly quickly by simply yanking, but he would have no time to do so before Vitae completed her next action.Using her leap to off-balance Echelon, Vitae flung a knife in mid-air before hitting a building. A quick application of her powers created a series of small creepers and vines, which Vitae grabbed onto and used to anchor herself to the wall, ready to kick off at a moment's notice.

In a second the Toa of Lightning had stepped over, severing both and, at the same time, grabbing the vine that was still latched to Vitae's arm.And a second later, a blast of lethal lightning energy was running up the vine like a wire, charring it along its path to the Toa holding.

  • OOC:The only reason I even wrote that last part was to get the post up to my length standards. I'm perfectly fine with combo-breaking.

Although Vitae's vine was snagged, vines weren't particularly conductive. As a result, the vine simply charred free, leaving Echelon with a pair of awkward, heavy appendages dangling from his shoulders. As for Vitae herself, she didn't see any reason to abort her leap - so she continued, dropping both vines instead and still grabbing onto the wall.Instead of going through with her original plan, however, Vitae activated her Mask of Stealth and flipped onto the rooftop simultaneously, leaving a blurred trail. From there, she quickly maneuvered to a nearby rooftop. However, being used to sneaking in the jungle rather than in towns like this one, she was accidentally exposed to a potential attack for several moments as she quickly reached the other side of the short building and stood - and by using his electrical control, Kalen could feasibly sense her regardless. However, immediately after standing, Vitae flung a dagger in the direction of the Toa of Lightning. Unless Echelon elected to aid him, the Toa would have to dodge or block, and the dagger was small enough that it might be missed for the few crucial moments it needed to strike.Immediately afterwards, Vitae rolled off of the end of the building, grabbing onto the ledge with both hands and sliding down the back side of the building in order to avoid any potential counterattacks. She then grabbed a dagger in each hand and began to creep around the back side of the building.

Have hearing like his helped to tell if anyone else was following them, especially when combined with the echolocation Dekal was using to determine just where everyone was.The robed Toa lead them down the village of air, and towards the Koro of fire.OOC: Who wants to make the movement post?IC: Mirehu [Le-Koro]The Toa of Crystal stared up at the wooden ceiling, her eyes following the lines in the material as she thought. Mirehu couldn't get any sleep, despite her best efforts to. Too many things were going through her mind, too much had happened. When she woke up, Mirehu never expected to end up in Le-Koro; or even the mainland for that matter. At times, it was a bit much to take in, so Mirehu tried to think about other topics, such as what was so important that Raxa had to leave. But that topic didn't work either, as Mirehu had a nagging feeling that it had something to do with that Toa of Lightning, and she didn't like to theink about why it might involve the other Toa.They don't even look like a couple, she thought, but it didn't help much. Well, there was plenty of other things to think about, like what type of armor she was going to get, what color would it be, that sort of stuff. Unfortunately, it was rather boring for the Toa of Crystal, and her thoughts kept on wandering back to the second topic.IC: SpyderNow, the problem with calling out for help was that you alerted your enemy to it, which is just what Frii'Glokk had done. Turning to the approching being, Spyder lept out of the way of the punch, his injuries protesting at the movement. With a hiss, Spyder raised his uninjured arm, and shards of crystal scattered around area flew at high speed towards Genno. At the same time, Spyder kept an eye on the Skakdi, just so that he'd be prepared.
